Very thorough and took the time to really talk to me. I have had drs in the past not take the time to listen but she took her time and was very thoughtful. Had some great suggestions and I look forward to being her patient. Office staff are great and very friendly.

Dr. Ringhoffer is an angel on earth. I’ve been seeing her since I was a teenager and am so thankful for her. I never have to question the level of care I receive from her or her staff. I trust Dr. Ringhoffer and all of her recommendations. I feel so lucky that she will be delivering my first baby and know that I will be in great hands.

Everything was great and everyone was super nice. I have been seeing Dr. Carolyn Ringhoffer for quite a few years. She is the best and wouldnt want to change Drs. for nothing. She is very professional and always wanting to know if you have any concerns.

Dr. Ringhoffer has provided excellent obstetrics and gynecological services for over 20 years. She now sees two of my daughters she delivered. I find her understanding and knowledgeable. I would recommend her 100%.

Dr. Ringhoffer always provides thorough exams and is very knowledgeable in her field. Ive been seeing her for over 20 years, and will continue. She is sharp and no nonsense and will tell you the best course of action for any issue you present her with.

Always love going in for my appointments. Shes vey knowledgeable and her nurse, Penny, is the best! Very satisfied with having her deliver my children.

I would give her negative stars if I could. She is condescending and rude. I came in to get checked for PCOS, and she insisted on running STD panels even though I am a lesbian in a long term committed relationship and said I didnt want to. She tried forcing me to take a pregnancy test even though, again, Im a lesbian. They confirmed I had cysts on my ovaries but kept saying it was because of what I was even eating even though I told her that I only eat 1200 calories a day and dont eat fast food. She tried implying that I was lying about everything and that I needed to just eat right and work out even though I told her that I already did. She blamed everything on my weight even though I havent always been over weight and I came in because I had the symptoms of PCOS and was told by another doctor to get checked out because the 100 pound weight gain in less than a year in combination with my symptoms is not normal.

Dr. Ringhoffer is always so kind and explains everything to me so that I know what’s going on. Her staff is always so helpful as well. Definitely recommend her to all of my friends / family!

Dr.Ringhoffer went over and beyond to make sure I was taking care of.she always has great advice,and listens to what I have to say about my health,and she always calls you back with test results, shes just a great gynecologist if you need one!!

Absolutely DO NOT recommend! I went to her today for an annual checkup and she was absolutely disrespectful and violated patient confidentiality while I was in the room. She asked me how many sexual partners I have had and when I told her she said “oh wow that’s a lot” When is fact it really isn’t for my age but regardless a doctor should NEVER said that to anyone let alone their own client and proceeded to make fun of me for it…. I also chose not to get on birth control for my own personal reason and she tried to guilt trip me and talked bad about people who were not on birth control. I then asked other people who I know if they went to her and they did not like her because she was also rude and disrespectful.This doctor should not be licensed.

*sighs* Dr. Ringhoffer was my doctor for all five years of college, 2017-2022. I must say, I miss her dearly as I have moved to a new state. She made feel like she genuinely cared for me. In 2020, my face was breaking out extremely and she prescribed me medicine to help combat the breakouts which gave me really clear skin. Back in 2021, the worse happened to me and Dr. Ringhoffer admitted me to the hospital which saved my life. She came visit me when I did not have any family in town, she made sure they provided me with new clothes and that I was comfortable. To say she was my OBGYN, i told her everything and went to her for everything. You would think she was my primary care physician. I miss her and her staff. They always were able to fit me in for an appointment the same day or next. I have never felt that comfortable, that safe. with any other healthcare provider. If you are looking for someone who will be honest with you even when its hard to hear but its best for you, I strongly suggest her as your future OBGYN.

Do not recommend. This provider needs to seek some health equity and cultural competency training when engaging patients, especially persons of color.Receiving a positive pregnancy test is a sensitive time for all birthing persons. & there’s no instance by which initial questions posed by a provider is “do you know the baby’s father?”. It should be “how are you feeling, these are the next steps, etc”—but not with Dr. Ringhoffer. Then when you seek to transfer care you’ll receive a direct call from her in a condescending tone stating this “I just received the release of medical records, this hurts our feelings, etc.” . Really? If you delivered patient centered care with an equitable focus maybe just maybe you’d retain patients and reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes. SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE.

Dr. Ringhoffer is amazing. She explained everything in great detail. She was very caring and compassionate about my situation. Her staff was excellent! They were friendly, helpful, and had smiles on their faces!

I was so nervous finding a new obgyn after recently moving to Mobile. Dr. Ringhoffer and her office exceeded my expectations. She was warm, kind and made me feel so comfortable. She took her time to listen to my concerns and was thorough. I am so happy I found her!

Dr. Ringhoffer is awesome. Shes blunt, and doesnt waste time dancing around an issue. She has a sense of humor, she cares, and shes very skilled. Ive trusted her with my health in the past, and I will continue to trust her in the future.

Horrible experience. The feedback that I received was presented in an unprofessional manner. She even went as far as asking me: are you sure your fiancé is the right one for you when it wasnt pertinent to my appointment. Judgmental questions were being asked as the nurse smiled at her in amusement! I did not feel comfortable with her and I will not be returning. Very unprofessional!

Horrible experience. never once did she show compassion or anything. She tried talking me into an adoption with my father in the room because my childs father wasnt in the picture. When my dad spoke up and said well thats why Im here; to help her she is my daughter. Ringhoffer snapped and said thats not your place. Also, I had to go back 3 different times for my prenatal labs. On 2 different occasions one of the nurses stuck me in 3 different places and couldnt get it right what so ever. When she finally got another nurse to finish it and got it, they forget to get one tube of blood which was the most important and made me come in again the very next day. Also; I thought I had developed a UTI. After explaining my symptoms to ringhoffer, she was dead set that it was a bacteria infection and gave me antibiotics. After switching at 26 weeks pregnant to another doctor; he did a full check and discovered it was not only a bactierica infection that wasnt treated right; but also a yeast infection. Something that ringhoffer only guessed at, when another doctor actually took the time to do a test. Never will I return to ringhoffer or recommend. Figured she would be an amazing doctor since almost all at Springhill are but I was entirely wrong.
