Yvonne was AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable and she even made me laugh. The nurses were so nice and inviting while still carrying a high level of professionalism. Communication creates great experiences. Thank you so much.

I had THE MOST positive experience at planned parenthood today. The staff was EXTREMELY kind, personable, helpful and professional (as opposed to the OBGYN clinic I called yesterday). They made getting an IUD extremely comfortable for both me and my partner. I cannot recommend this clinic more. The lady at the front desk was kind, the lady who helped me find the bathroom and the nurse and doctor were all extremely pleasant. Thank you so much for everything.

The medical assistants and the nurses are really nice. They made me feel comfortable as soon as i checked in. Yvonne was the best!!! She made me really comfortable(made me laugh despite my stress)and answered all my questions. I would really recommend that location.

I was scared coming in because I had no idea what to anticipate and I knew I would be walking in alone. When I first arrived, this parenthood plan made me feel really at ease. You must make an appointment if you want to be seen that day, and they do offer to use your insurance so you dont have to pay anything up front, which was very useful to know. I was fortunate to have the best Lareina, who made me giggle the entire time. She made me feel extremely comfortable and was very clear while describing the medication and aftercare. This was definitely not the experience that I expected. My suggestion to you is dont be nervous.

I live in PA & drove all the way to this location to be treated. I came in feeling all sorts of emotions, alone being one of them. Every single person in that building from the security, to the receptionist, to all the nursing staff and provider, were so welcoming & kind. I kept having to hold back tears because of how grateful I was for them. Yvonne was taking care of me & I couldnt have had a more wonderful person taking care of me. She was SO kind & patient. The provider that came in to chat with me before I left was also VERY empathic & kind. What a great set of staff Thank you all so much for the support for a VERY emotional time for me. ❤️❤️❤️

Top tier service from Yvonne and Loraine.They are a great asset to this facility along with other staffs. They were cordial and sympathetic. The whole visit was smooth from the the concierge to the blood test. Thanks again

This was the most wonderful experience! I was a little nervous going into my appointment but Allison was the most wonderful person. She made me feel comfortable and heard throughout my visit, and she spoke with so much compassion and intelligence. Hands down - Allison and the rest of the staff made this experience what it was, and I can’t imagine receiving this level of care anywhere else! She has my thanks and my highest recommendation for anyone seeking these services!

I wasn’t able to get everyone’s names, but all the lovely ladies there were wonderful. From checking in, to being called back. Yvonne who called me back was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and even entertained my silliness. I hateeeee getting my blood drawn, but Yvonne was so gentle and it was very much appreciated ! And on top of that, it was the quickest appointment of my life lol 10/10, five stars would def recommend.

Today was my 1st appointment here in Montgomery County , the front desk girls were nice.My CNA Azure was very friendly and informative. She made me feel like she cared about my questions, she was very caring and I do appreciate her level of professionalism along with her positive attitude towards me.The Nurse practitioner Allison was a complete 360, passive aggressive, she belittled me from beginning to end.I asked her for a referral since they did not provide the service I needed after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment to be sent away.She argued with me in regards to actually providing me with Doctors to refer me to. I told her I’d had issues trying to find a provider who accepted my insurance but I wanted to try the providers they used in this office and she basically took that information and refused to actually provide me with her referring providers for some reason. She insisted I needed to find my own after I repeatedly told her I’d like to try the referring offices they were already in network with.Allison only provided me with a referral letter and a referral letter with zero providers for me to try and call even though I emphasized I just wanted to call and try.I had to come back inside and ask front desk for a list of their providers since Allison did not provide me with any.She then came to the front and attempting to argue with me and just be rude and combative towards me.Allison finally went to her office and handed me the referral form I asked her for from the very beginning.I don’t appreciate being treated like a child, or as if I am less then or uneducated. This is how Allison the Nurse practitioner treated me today. She then also tried to gaslight me and I had to actually say out my mouth “I’m not here to argue with you” in-front of the office staff this happened yesterday.This is already a private, sensitive place to be and Allison made my experience here extremely negative and uncomfortable.I think it would be beneficial for Allison to invest in taking professional communication classes, customer service and or something to assist her in learning how to demonstrate patience and respect to her patients for her unnecessary, mean, unprofessional and rude, belittling attitude.I was able to calmly and respectfully speak up for myself but I can only imagine younger women who would have to endure what I did yesterday unprovoked and that it completely unacceptable and overall just a terrible experience.Thank you to my nurse Azure for helping me with all my questions and concerns today.Thank you front desk for trying to help me with finding an actual referring doctor and not just handing me a basic letter of referral with no referring doctors.I worked in the medical field for 15 years where we had to refer patients to other offices. I know what a referral consists of.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review (hence me leaving 2 stars instead of 1) as my overall experience was pretty good until the end. Everything went smoothly until I was woken from my anesthesia. I don’t remember much but I do remember having an uncontrollable cough as I woke up. I don’t remember exactly what was said but I do recall the nurse abruptly handing me a mask I get it…Covid is back. But I clearly didn’t have this cough prior to walking in. I read anesthesia can give you a dry cough after. No too sure if thats what it was. The second incident is the one that brought me concern. Post your procedure you are moved from the bed to a chair where you are watched for the next 30 minute prior to being dismissed. First of all, as I get out of the bed and sit on the chair, the IV was ripped from my hand, causing blood to go everywhere. The nurse made it seem as though it was my fault, knowing that I had literally just woken up from anesthesia. Apparently the bag (not sure the actual term) was stuck in between the bed and instead of her (the nurse) pulling it out and holding it for me so that when I sat down in the chair it would come with me she left it stuck between the bed so when I got up it completely ripped from out of my hand. She explained there was no needle inside but regardless there was still something inserted in my hand which was ripped out causing hood to go everywhere.Again….kind of rude about the situation instead of apologizing and taking fault.Then, after about 10 minutes of me being evaluated, another patient was brought into the recovery room. There was a lady sitting directly beside me who had an IV, which was clearly empty meaning She had been there for a while. I assume they were starting to run out of time and begin to jam people and because the nurse then walked over to me and the young lady sitting next to me, and, without looking directly at anyone, said, one of you was gonna have to get up because the other patient needed to sit down. first of all, I had only been there 10 minutes, so there was no way I was getting up when the lady sitting beside me head clearly been there for much longer period of time. The appropriate thing to have done would be to tell her that her evaluation time was up and to go check her pad and so on and so forth. It shouldn’t have been an option being as though I had just got out of the surgery bed. I Found that to be extremely weird and I didn’t want to pull the race card but that’s exactly what it felt like was going on.Now to fast forward I get home and as I go to give a family members a hug I realized I had an excruciating chest pain as if I had been hit in my chest. Prior to going there I was not experiencing any of that pain which left me wondering did something fall on me? Was I assaulted? Its a day later and I can’t even touch the middle part of my chest without it hurting. Very odd. If it continues, I will be going to the hospital tomorrow to have it evaluated but after reading the reviews I have so many questions about this place. Outside of that The doctor who performed my procedure was amazing.

Allison and Yvonne were amazing, they really put me at ease before and during the removal process and they are just so friendly and kind overall. Im very pleased with how my appointment went and they made it enjoyable. Thank you!!!!!

I used to come here years ago and I’m glad I revisited, the renovations are nice and the staff is great and friendly. Yvonne took care of me for the testing and she was so nice and gentle with administering my tests. My anxiety was low and the testing was smooth and quick.

WONDERFUL clinic. The staff are all extremely kind, welcoming, nonjudgmental, helpful, and knowledgeable. The doctors are great, efficient, skillful, and patient. They really take their time to answer all your questions and make sure you’re comfortable. I also did not experience any wait times. Everything was very quick. Checked in, seen, procedure done, and out all under an hour

I was at the clinic today to do some tests, and the nurse Yvonne who took care of me, and I am very grateful, she is sweet and very patient, she took my blood and I felt absolutely no pain, thank you very much Yvonne, you are amazing

Since everyone was talking about the long wait times, I got there early just to be safe. I only had to wait 5-10 minutes! So I was taken in early. I had a copper IUD implanted and the nurse practitioners did a wonderful job. My body did react pretty badly after the insertion - I threw up and almost passed out. The staff was so caring and kind to me. The let me lay down for a while, gave me juice, and supported me until I felt better. Thank you so much for making this experience positive!

Leaving a 1 star review, would be zero if google allowed it. This network of clinics is in absolute shambles. All their voicemail boxes are full, their menu message when you call states it is outside their normal business hours (reader, I called at 3pm on a wednesday), and no other departments are able to transfer you to the clinic phone or get ahold of the office manager. The only place I was able to get a human being to answer the phone was... drumroll please... the donations office! They wont or cant provide healthcare, but they will happily take your money for the services they fail to provide:)

Have been to this location once before the pandemic and once after. Both times, the staff and nurses I interacted with have been nothing but stellar. I was so nervous going in because I didnt have any other options at the time and the nurse reassured me each step. She went over information and made sure all my questions were answered. Even during Covid, they still go above and beyond to keep seeing patients. They called to follow up and never did I feel rushed. If you need testing, they are fairly quick and professional too. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I am so grateful to have them help me and know that they are making a difference in peoples lives.

You will likely have a wait time of at least 30 minutes beyond your appointment. I always expect to be late. I think people who expect to be seen quickly should choose another provider. This location services many people and it takes time. If you are an impatient person you should schedule your appointment at another provider. There is not a planned parenthood in the area thats going to be quick, simply because they see so many people.However the staff at this location are so kind and pleasant. I have been here 3 times and every time I come here I feel genuinely cared for. The women who work here are amazing and a great example of how health professionals should conduct themselves. In my opinion its worth the wait and I would choose these staff over my gynecologist any time. Although I was seen later, none of the staff ever rushed me. When I got an IUD I was in a lot of pain, everyone was very comforting and kind. I have seen both doctors and a couple of the nurses. They are all just wonderful.

My friend Yvonne works here, and she is the definition of good energy. Always makes me laugh when I’m in there, and the ladies at the front desk are so very helpful and patient. Shoutout Gloria too ❤️

Nurses and providers are great. The male receptionist is very rude with no manners at all, he is very unprofessional. He kept spelling my name wrong, he gave two different times of my appointment when i scheduled, he had first said 11 then when i asked him to repeat himself to be clear he then said 10 with a very ill tone. In the middle of me talking he hangs up out of no where with no call back apologizing. Please do something about him because either he just isnt fit for the job OR he could be discriminating me for being trans.

This clinic delivers excellent patient care! My appointment was for a bc implant insertion. Their entire team was very friendly and professional. The nurse practitioner who placed my implant was gentle, kind, and answered all of my questions. My wait time was minimal with most of the time spent in my car for COVID safety. I was in and out within 30 minutes, pre screen questionnaire included! Overall I was very impressed with the efficiency, privacy, cleanliness, and compassionate care that was given to me.

This clinic has very great nurses and providers, with excellent service. My only issue is the wait time is extremely dissatisfying. Every time I book an appointment time I arrive early and will be waiting for almost an hour past my scheduled time to be seen. I thought it was just a one time occurrence possibly due to the time I chose but no matter what time I choose it is always the same. It should not be like this.

I went there for the first time and I heard so many good things about PP but I am so disappointed and hurt… I was very nervous at my appointment and after a 20 min wait time in my car, I finally went into the clinic and the nurses/providers weren’t really nice… I told them my concerns and they were acted like they didn’t really care or were annoyed. Then when the provider came in, she treated me like I was dump. English isn’t my first language and so I had problems understanding her and she looked at me full of judgment. She didn’t explain anything to me, except of what I have and just gave me a paper with the details about the condition. She was in the room for maybe 5 min and I have never felt this uncomfortable at a doctor… I just left crying because I was so disappointed and even felt embarrassed… I will never go there again and I don’t recommend anyone of going there.

I went in today for an appointment. The front desk was very nice although the assistant who took me to the back was extremely disrespectful. I asked her a reasonable question regarding my health and she kept saying “well I just told you this “ as if she explained anything properly and seemed super annoyed. Then when the Nurse came in after sending out my sample for my UTI, she stated they saw nothing when I know exactly how a uti feels, she stated “why are you here then”. The Assistant then knocked and opened the door to say “sorry I got the names switched up “ where the Nurse proceeded to say “oh yeah they found SOME bacteria”. I never once heard the assistant say that nor did I hear an apology when I told her many times that I know it was a UTI. The staff makes you feel very uncomfortable and seem to want to rush you out. They really do not care about your health and the only reason I’m giving them even 1 is because there front desk was great.

I come here once a year to refill a birth control prescription. I never see the same people when I go, but everyone is always kind, respectful and professional. Never have a bad experience and never have a long wait time

This place is disgusting and vile, never go here. I have never felt more unsafe, ignored and mistreated in my entire life. The only good interaction I had was with the technician who drew my blood. Every single other employee was rude, disrespectful, not knowledgeable and just flat out should not be working in a medical field. The doctors are aggressive and rush through everything, I had to keep asking for them to address my complaints. And I had an appointment in September 2021 and when I came back today in November, a sizeable blood stain that had been on the wall ALMOST THREE MONTHS AGO WAS STILL THERE. And I had mentioned it to the front desk staff too in September. Unsanitary and nasty ESPECIALLY in a place where STDS/STIS and other illnesses that can be spread that way are very much prevalent. I will be contacting my lawyer because they straight up lied to me about HIPAA regulations too, I know because I work in the medical field (Thank god I record all my phone conversations) and outright refused to initially send me records/invoices of my visit when I requested until. I called SEVEN TIMES- Got told there was no manager when Id literally just gotten off the phone with one, Got left on hold for 25 mins, blatantly lied to 4 times, hung up on TWICE and then constantly spoken over and dismissed when I did speak with someone. This place should be closed. Do better.

DO NOT COME HERE! I could not have had a worse experience with planned parenthood in Gaithersburg. The service at front desk wasn’t horrible but they asked me to leave when I mistakenly made an error when filling out my application. I told them that I was in pain, that it had been two weeks since I had made the appointment and that I wasn’t leaving until I got seen. The mistake I had made on the application was COVID related when it came to the symptoms. I had marked a couple of the symptoms but had mentioned that I had just gotten tested for COVID and that it was negative. I even showed them my COVID results and they still asked me to leave. Even after I agreed to do the rest of the appointment over call they kicked me out of the waiting room. It was really cold outside too. The doctor was pretty rude on the call too.

I waited an hour in my car for my appointment. This is a normal waiting period for ALL planned parenthoods. This center saw me within 24hrs of making an appointment, and did everything necessary to help me. I received my prescription that day as well. They are very cautious about covid and they sanitize everything after you use it. You also are waiting in your car because they cant have people in the waiting room due to covid. Theyre doing their best. Thank you guys!

Ill recommend PP but not this location- go to carol white. Receptionists ask medical information in front of other patients while checking you in (yes, 3 strangers really needed to know I am here for an abortion follow-up.) Theyll rush through info and procedures and treat you like youre stupid when you ask questions. The nurse sat me down to discuss IUDs without informing me of the ultrasound results, leaving me to infer the abortion was a success and acting like I was dumb for asking to confirm that the abortion took.But most importantly, leaving the room while a patient is on stirrups with a speculum in and LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN is unacceptable, and the first reaction being a defensive I didnt realize the door didnt latch is terrible (also lol the door was left about 4 inches ajar.) Having to leave the room because you didnt have your materials ready is also unprofessional.I requested we stop there and NP kept asking what was wrong and not listening, and that is what hurt the most. The nurse was the only person that treated me with humanity, everyone else was defensive and rude - I doubt anyone from the staff will read this as feedback they can improve on, I just want to warn people away from having a horrible experience like I did.

Everyone here is always really great -- friendly, professional. I usually feel comfortable here.But, Im also waiting here for hours sometimes before I get my appointment; I think theyre very understaffed. Also they decided what my gender identity was without asking me?

I see a lot of negative reviews regarding wait time so I won’t say much about that, although I was there over two hours.I am a transman and I chose planned parenthood rather than urgent care because it was my understanding that planned parenthood employees were well versed in dealing with trans matters and I would be treated kindly and respectfully.The guard at the door questioned all men if they had an appointment and allowed women in without comment. I get it, but not okay. Men need planned parenthood as well.My paperwork was not reviewed. My history was not reviewed. Despite bringing my applicable records, they were not reviewed either.I do not begrudge them for assuming I was cismale, but they should have read my papers. They should have listened to the words I was saying. And the intake nurse/phlebotomist should not have made a disparaging response about trans people. Not in front of a trans person. Not in front of any person.The only reason I have given this office two stars instead of one is because the healthcare provider I eventually saw apologized, stated that they should have done better, and told me that I deserved better. She acknowledged that they did a horrible job with me. Her explanation that “we don’t really see trans people in Gaithersburg” did not help but I get it.I will not be back to this office. And that’s a shame because it is supposed to be as safe for me as it is for the women who go there.

Wonderful people. Compassionate and patient with a nervous patient. They give each patient individual attention, and this takes some time (though not hours and hours), but its worth it knowing I would be treated like a person and have all my questions answered by knowledgable and kind medical professionals.

Literally the lady at the front looks like she is overwhelmed. My wait was 2 hrs after the appointment time and two people who had later appointments were called in before me. She Was unable to give me any straight forward answers. Honestly horrible customer service

Terrible service. Staff very irresponsible. They made me wait for 2 hours in the exam room. My appointment was at 9 and I only saw the doctor at 11!!!! People who came after me, even they left before me! Very unprofessional. When I asked what took so long they said they re not sure. All the know is the doctor in in training 😠 wouldnt recommend this place at all.Yes They dont value peoples time and are irresponsible

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is just un-organized, lack of communication. Even with a scheduled appointment there is long wait times just to see the doctor and without insurance everything is super exspensive.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. My wait time was not at all unreasonable and I got excellent service. All the questions I had were answered professionally and not once did I feel judged.

Ive been trying to contact the office for days because I had some tests done 2 weeks ago and they still havent sent me the results... They dont have any email and they dont answer the phone either, I dont know what else to do

Bad service, more than 2 weeks waiting for test results to be delivered, when they said it would take 5 days! Terrible service.

It is very slow, I do not recommend it, the truth is that it takes almost 3 hours just to be able to go to a room and talk to the nurses.

Terrible!!! I just spent two and a half hours waiting for them to tell me after so much waiting that they cant serve me! incredible!
