Dr. Yu is a true healer!!I went to see him after a sciatica flare up.My pain was a 9/10, I was having trouble standing, walking and in enormous pain that had lasted months.This was my 1st acupuncture experience ever.After 1 treatment with Dr. Yu, my pain level went down to a 1/10, I was able to stand, walk normally and the agonizing pain was gone. This is by far the best acupuncture clinic Ive ever visited. After countless visits to various doctors and hours of driving with no solution, I finally found this place and was immediately given advice and treatment that I had never heard before—advice that actually worked. Dr. Yu is incredible. I have been having sciatica pain in my left leg for a month. Nothing has been helping. I decided to try out acupuncture because I didnt know what else to do and I was hardly able to walk. I called in and Dr. Yu said to come in immediately even though he was an hour short of closing. I arrived about 15 minutes later and he greeted me so friendly! He first took a picture of my tongue and was able to tell that I had a lot of swelling. We started the acupuncture and immediately he relieved my pain. I was in shock!! I was able to move my leg without any problem, with just one needle in my left hand! He proceeded to continue with the acupuncture. Later, he took a picture of my tongue again and what a difference! It was incredible the amount of knowledge and wisdom he had. Thank you so much Dr. Yu for healing one of my family members again!!! Not only was he super professional but he was also very mindful of our concerns of covid. He wore a mask the entire time and made sure to clean the surfaces of all exposed skin before using his acupuncture needles.My sibling has been in bed for three days unable to move or walk with sciatic nerve pain. I highly recommended Dr Yu. I had been dealing with right sciatica pain and lower back pain for months which progressively worsened during pregnancy. I scheduled my first appointment not knowing what to expect. Dr Yu is exceptionally kind and caring put nervousness at ease. After only one treatment the pain had completely resolved. My mom is 101 and has been going to Dr Yu for at least 10 years. He has helped her stay well through the winters and lately her blood pressure had gotten really high and he was able to lower it quite a bit while we were there. She also has been having a lot of pain with her back and he was able to relieve some of it. He has given her techniques to help her dizziness and help her sleep which we use regularly and works amazingly well. When we dont do the massage she has a bad night. We go to him first before we try anything else.

I went to doctor Yu with complete hearing loss in one ear and very little in the other which caused major pressure in my head and dizziness. Very good service, I came in for my ankle fractured and my pain went away as soon as he started the acupuncture! He then proceeded to rub my ankle with a herb oil and the swelling went down within a few minutes. I had also previously came for sciatica pain which also helped me a lot. Dr. Yu is an incredibly gifted acupuncturist with 15 generations of experience behind him. Having visited several different kinds of TCM practitioners this past few months while on the road for the same issue, I can testify that his techniques are unique. He needled some very tender points on my fingers for a chronic GI issue that actually changed the color and shape of my tongue caused by spleen qi stagnation and damp liver within minutes. The teeth marks on my tongue from bruxism and TMJ also disappeared. He showed me before and after pics on his tablet. I also felt a stomach pumping sensation that jolted me out of sleep during my session and noticed the rise and fall in my abdomen as my shoulders and head shook like a character in a Quentin Tarantino flick (Pulp Fiction?). It felt like someone yanking a plunger suctioned over my belly button. This is a sign of the blood stasis moving in the body. He came highly recommended by several local friends and now I understand why! One session with him is worth three average ones. I will be visiting again before I leave town.

Dr. Yu is a HEALER. I came to him in need in desperation for pain relief from an ovarian cyst that had burst. After the first needle went in I had instant relief. OMG! I am really amazed. I have had back problems for over 25 years. I’ve gone to chiropractors intermittently, but always stopped because I didn’t see much relief. For many years I’ve suffered from ear problems and vertigo. I came to Dr. Yu 3 years ago during one of my flare ups and I have yet to have another episode. He is amazing at what he does, I highly recommend.

I went to have an herbal consultation and acupuncture. My muscles and joints have felt a lot more comfortable since. If we’re unwell and have only a little energy it’s hard to heal but can he adds his chi it’s like adding more water to help break through a dam. It worked! Huge changes very quickly. Incredible!! You have to go see this man if you are in pain, no joke.I twisted my wrist and was in a lot of pain and swelling for two weeks. The pain pills would not work. I went to Dr. Yu and with the needles and pressure points, the pain was gone. I was able to regain movement in minutes. I dont usually write reviews but felt obligated to write one in this case. Our experience here was fantastic.! My mother in law came here with pain caused by Lupus. Severe back, neck, leg and shoulder pain. Within minutes of treatment her pain was miraculously gone. My husband and I brought in a senior citizen friend who is 87 years old to see acupuncturist Jia Yu because he was suffering from neck pain for five days. The best treatment Iv ever received in my life. I just dislocated shoulder and I had hernia surgery very recently, I tore my quad tendon a year ago and I had a horrific motorcycle and car accident a few years ago which limited my ability to move. I had debilitating lower back pain for a couple months, requiring pain medication in order to sleep, or walk or stand for any significant time. An MRI showed a significant herniated disc in my lumbar (L5-S1), and I was told surgery was likely my only option given the severity. Now after seeing Jai for two sessions, I am able to live life normally, and just have subtle pain here and there. I am confident I can avoid surgery, and Jai assured me I will be completely healed in a couple more sessions. I am so grateful to be able to pick up my two young kids and play with them again, thank you Jai!

Dr. Yu did an amazing job. He was very nice and caring about my cousin because she does not like needles. He helped her stay calm and put the needle in. He explains why he does what he does. He takes precautions when taking care of a patient and that’s what I think that is great about him. Also my aunt has an illness that can’t be cure and she has came here a couple time. Her disease is scleroderma. He’s been treating her and she been getting better and stronger which is a blessing to my family. All the herbal he has been giving us has help her have more color in her skin and the strength to do things with me. Every time she goes here she returns healthier.

Dr. Yu is an incredible acupuncturist. I have been getting acupuncture treatments for several years and am currently a student studying to become an acupuncturist. I visited Dr Jia because I had severe vertigo for a very long time causing daily nausea to the point I was affected doing my daily functions (work, etc.). I had tried exercises for vertigo and meds that just did not work at all. Dr Jia provided acupuncture care to me one time and got rid of my vertigo that I had for many years in the making. Immediately after acupuncture I felt much better and I am actually right this review much later with no reoccurrence of the vertigo. I am so great full to Dr. Jia for helping me resolve this issue. He is very professional, very caring, and is very experienced in his profession. My wife and I visit Dr Jia for other issues including really good herb medications. I have had many treatments with Dr Yu and he has remarkably either cured or improved my ailments. And most dramatic for me have been gout in my foot where I could hardly walk and then I went to a concert that night at the Rose Bowl I was able to run back to my car! The other was my right shoulder which I have had numerous chiropractic treatments on because I was unable to throw a ball for my dog. I then went to Dr Yu and in one treatment he informed me that I had momentarily dislocated my shoulder and soft tissue was in the joint. After the one treatment of acupuncture my shoulder was 90% better. Today my wife who is a nonbeliever had an Accupuncture Treatment because she has a massive hematoma between her knee and her hip. Her doctor said it would take 2+ weeks to heal and she’s been in constant seven p treatment because she has a massive hematoma between her knee and her hip. She was treated at the emergency room immediately after her bike accident.Her doctor said it would take 2-4 weeks to heal and she’s been in constant level 7 pain.Dr Yu placed only two needles in her hand and used ointment on her leg. Pain level went down to 1 or 2 within half an hour! I highly recommend Dr Yu for most conditions to all of my friends and anybody reading this review.

Dr. Yu works miracles! He helped me cure my severe sciatica! I was bed ridden for a week before I called him. I couldnt move.. every time I sat up I cried my eyes out from all of the pain. Yu is amazing is full results. I came to him with a host of problems like Hairy Black Tongue, Leukemia and many neck injury’s, kidneys and mood. Every time I come my mood is greatly lifted, proof of results. My money and time is well spent coming to be treated by Yu.

Took my daughter to Jia Yu for treatment for issues with her tonsils. She has been waiting on a list to see an ENT for months now and finally has an appointment in mid Nov. Ive been suffering with sciatic nerve pain for over 16 days Ive been to the Urgent Care twice and to the chiropractor and yesterday I saw a back specialist. What a great place. My girlfriend went in for pelvic pain, bloating, and ovarian cysts. After seeing about 4-5 doctors that all just recommended birth control, we decided to give the Chinese medicine and acupuncture a try. Literally after the 3rd acupuncture needle, her bloating and pain completely went away. He said that the acupuncture helped the fluid in the body to circulate and not get all caught up. I have been suffering from long term hip pain and when I sit for a long time or drive long distances it gets really bad. My husband took me to Dr Yu for treatment for a severe migraine, high blood pressure, dizziness and nausea. Prior to seeing Dr Yu I had severe migraine and my blood pressure was extremely high(200s/100s) in the range for a heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage so my husband took me to the ER and I was admitted to the hospital. The doctors ordered ct and MRI scan for my brain, stress test, and carotid artery ultrasound and all test came back negative. I was given medication to lower my blood pressure and pain medication in my IV. After 4 days of pain and 3 days in the hospital and as doctors do they prescribed me more medication and said to take excedrin or tylenol at the onset of a migraine. Needless to say the migraine lingered for 2 more days after being discharged from the hospital. I was desperate for relief so after finding Dr Yus website and reading reviews I agreed to try acupuncture and TCM mind you I was very skeptical but desperate for relief. So my husband drove 2 hours to Dr Yus office he began the treatment with a few pokes in my fingers asked how I felt and I still had pain and nausea. Proceeded to apply 5 fine needles and miraculously the migraine, nausea and dizziness was gone mind you my head is sore as I had been in pain for 6 days but I am now a firm believer in acupuncture and TCM. My blood pressure is in normal range. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving DR YU a try if you are having any kind of pain or ailment. My dad has had the right side of his face numb he also had his right eye twitch sometimes, whenever he eat or drank something it would slip out of his mouth. He also had arm pain and leg pain on the left side whenever he put pressure on it. And with just few needles on his hands, feet, and a message on the face he was good to go.

I initially heard of Jia through a friend but was very skeptical. A month later, my friend got a painful stiff neck that wouldnt quite go away, to the point where she was sometimes unable to turn it left or right. The problem continued for weeks, so we thought wed give him a try. Hes a very friendly and open guy. I got the feeling that he genuinely wanted to help people. He massaged her at various pressure points for about 15 minutes. After that 1 session, her problems went away.I came back to see him a couple times after for chronic back pain, still a little skeptical but open-minded. Jia ended up teaching me a few exercises. His exercises are definitely different than what youll get in physical therapy and western workouts. He explained that not only would these exercises strengthen specific muscles to correctly align my posture, but increase my speed and power. I exercise pretty actively on a regular basis, so my speed and power were already pretty decent. I thought I had already leveled out. But after a couple months, I noticed a HUGE improvement in my athletic performance. And my back pain? Gone.Jia also helped show me how to alleviate grinding in my knee from an ACL surgery over a year ago. This is something that physical therapy, doctors and chiropractors have not been able to alleviate. My surgeon even suggested further surgery as an option! Jia massaged my pressure points. I have an Uncle with a lot of medical problems, one in which he underwent a surgery to take out a bone from his lower back causing him a lot of pain in his lower back and knees. We brought him here to help reduce the pain and so far my uncle is loving it and see results. Dr.Yu inserted 3 needles into my uncles body and reduced the pain from a 10 to a 0 in less that 10 mins. I spent a week with Dr. Yu learning and observing in his clinic as a beginning student in acupuncture. I was able to meet and speak with many patients and, if they allowed, to see their treatments. Dr. Yu is a very knowledgeable practitioner with a unique style that focuses needling on the scalp, hands and feet. He also has great skill with therapeutic massage, aka tui na, and herbs. One highlight was seeing Dr. Yu treat a man suffering from neck pain with a one minute elbow massage. He was so relieved he almost cried! A takeaway from my week is that this medicine doesn’t need to be a last resort for patients, though it often is for various reasons. Dr. Yu’s is a complete medicine that can address serious health problems that would otherwise necessitate surgery or medications with side effects. He is also a gifted martial artist and teaches on Saturday mornings!

I first came to see Jia in 2009 when I had the misfortune of straining my shoulder while helping a neighbor with a backyard construction project. I was due to fly out two days later for a three week trip to South America. I was in pain and having arm mobility issues due the ill timed injury. Jia said that he could help, and I was utterly amazed that after a one time, hour long session the pain has dissipated and I could move my arm normally without any restriction. I only came here because of the reviews and come to find out this is just a normal massage clinic. I walked in hoping that they would be able to help me with my pain in my shoulders. There is a little bit of a language barrier but after a few minutes I was able to explain why I was there. Needless to say there is nothing special about this place. I received a deep tissue massage which was good but did not help my pain. The massage was $70 for an hour. I dont think I will be coming back.If you have pain go to a doctor or physical therapist this place will not magically heal you.

Came in for some help with vertigo and it helped tremendously! Went to the doctors 3 times prior to the visit and the doctors were unable to help! But getting the acupuncture treatment helped relieve the vertigo symptom. Would definitely recommend!

I have been using TCM for 15 years. I would drive all the way to China town in L.A. But now I will only need to travel 10 minutes to get to this doctor. I came in with a horrible painful rash and swelling in my leg. But within 45 minutes I walked out without any pain. After second visit the swelling was significantly gone and still no pain. Brought my dad here after he had very bad neck pain for a couple of days. Pain was so bad he couldnt turn his head to either side. Unlike most of his reviews, I will withhold the information of how Jia has helped me, my family, and my friends for the last 14 years; and instead, tell you about how he has helped my dear Daisy. Animals are very different in humans, that in their naivety to our actions, a placebo is useless on them.A few days before her 13th birthday, I brought Daisy in for him to look at her leg. She was not connecting it with the ground, as he says. She acted as though sometimes her leg was more sore than other times, needing to limp at some moments yet fully trotting at another. Jia had previously told my mother that he would work on animals, and I was excited to give this new (to me) area of his practice a try. I knew very well that Jia knows pain and stiffness!Back story: For the past two years, her vet and I have been watching her as we believed she had what is called a collapsing trachea. Common in old tiny dogs, we attributed her chronic cough to this.Well, while Jia worked on her leg, he asked about the cough. She will hack non-stop when there is pressure applied to her chest, and when held on her back (all of which were being done to help her leg). I briefly told him the story. He started working on a place on her back; and it was a complete light switch. Not 15 seconds later, her coughing had completely stopped. We put her on the ground to walk. And I tell you... I couldnt make her cough! The slightest pressure would set her off, and now, it was impossible. She also had the most remarkable surge in energy - where I thought she was slowing down with age, she regained like she was 3 years old again. I cant say enough about Mast Yu and his amazing ability to fix whats wrong. i was introduced to him via a colleague and made the long trip up north specifically to see him. Long story short... Ive been seeing Jai for several years but since I live in San Diego its hard to see him as much I would like. For about two months Ive been dealing with what the doctors say is an inflamed liver and diagnosed me with an autoimmune disorder. My symptoms were servere itching in my joints after I ate anything, I was on a very strict diet to see if the itching and servere blotting would decrease. I decided to take a trip up to Moorpark to see Jai.Wow! Wow! Wow! He said my liver is fine and that he could take care of the itching and blotting. I had one treatment 2/19/17 and I havent itched once since my treatment and the blotting was gone within 5 mins of treatment. Thanks to Jai and I dont know what I would do but suffer if I didnt know him, especially with western medicine!!

Came once with my girlfriend and he fixed her lower back by sticking two needles. Probably the most fascinating this I’ve ever seen.

Like 2 months ago I went to the hospital and had a ball on my left side and they told me it was from eating a lot for greasy food and then my back started hurting I was like this for 3 months. When I sleep it hurts a lot for me to sleep I just tose and turn. So today I can to this place and he took my ball that i had on my left side away and my back doesn’t hurt any more.

Dr Yu Dayi is just amazing my wife went to him with a severe migraine very dizzy nauseated, and blood pressure very high and after only one treatment from him she walked out of there pain free migraine completely gone and blood pressure lowered we will definitely be seeing him again and we would highly recommend anyone who my have chronic issues and dont like all the generic medications drugs to come see him.
