I had my first visit with Dr. Wanda Torres last week. I originally had an appointment scheduled in May, but had expressed concern about a problem I thought might need to be addressed sooner. The office called me and got me in a month ahead of my scheduled appointment. I was so appreciative!!! Everyone in this office was friendly and courteous. They collected only my co-pay, and did not try to collect additional money from me upfront as another gyno office had attempted to do. They were very thorough and unhurried in gathering my history. The doctor was lovely and I look forward to seeing her for my care in the future!!

Dr. Torres is one of the most kind and sweet doctors I’ve come across in a very long time. She listens to you and answers all questions. The office staff has been wonderful. Very kind and efficient. Kept me informed about an ongoing insurance issue. Dr. Torres performed a robotic hysterectomy. By day 3 of recovery, I did not need pain medication. Everyone is different, but I wish I had done this a year ago. Dr. Torres is a wonderful surgeon. Pre-op she was very educational and made sure I was aware of pros, cons, and risks of surgery. Overall, this practice is an A+++.

Dr. Torres is one of the most compassionate, caring doctors I have ever seen. She makes you feel so comfortable and takes her time as if you are her only patient. She and her staff were absolutely amazing. I had a procedure that was explained to me in detail and every precaution was taken to make sure that I was comfortable. If I could give Dr. Torres and her staff 10 stars I would as 5 is not enough.

I reached out to Dr Torres office in JulySeeking information on hormone replacement therapy.I spent some time on the phone with her husband Javier. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job explaining services that could be offered as well as her hands-on approach.My appointment was in mid September located in Trinity. It was quite a wait from July & not close to me.I understood this would require me to have more financial responsibility and redo labs which had recently been done. Based on my conversation, I decided it was worthwhile to wait. I wanted a provider that was knowledgeable. I was convinced she would be it.Finally my appointment day arrived months later!I left my house in oldsmar at approximately 9:07 for a 10:00 a.m. appointment. It appeared the practice was about 25 to 30 minutes away from my house.I utilized the waze application for driving since I dont live in Trinity.Unfortunately it took me to an area that was 2 mi away (near a 7-Eleven and another medical complex). I drove around for at least 10 minutes trying to locate the practice before calling at 10:43. I was a bit lost. The lady on the phone was super kind and said dont worry weve got you. She also explained where theyre located inside of an area with a BayCare sign. I utilized Google maps and was able to arrive at 10:03 for a 10:00 appointment.All of my initial paperwork had been done online weeks ahead and the practice had all of my past notes prior to my arrival.The lady at the front desk stated since I was 3 minutes late she would have to ask the doctor for permission. She came back after a few minutes and stated they could reschedule me for the earliest in November. She stated the doctor made the final decision & there was nothing she could do there was no way they could fit me in any longer.I understand the practice perspective the last thing I wanted to do was push her behind on patients which is why I was willing to wait longer that day. This appointment was important to me.From a patient perspective,I literally had waited since July for this appointment in September. Being told that I would need to wait till November was unacceptable.Im incredibly disappointed with the customer service at this practice.I would highly recommend anybody thinking of utilizing this practice to reconsider.

I can’t thank Dr. Torres enough. Both her and her staff have been absolutely amazing. I had a total hysterectomy in July and my recovery time was fast and I can honestly say that I have never felt better. Not only is the staff attentive I truly have felt listened too. I have been treated with true compassion through this entire journey. I am forever grateful.

I left Dr. Torres office in 2017 due to the complete unprofessionalism shown by her staff. I had been a patient for close to 10 years. Never had any issues previous to this. I later found out because a collections office contacted me over $15 that this office said it was owed. I never received any bill or any communication that I owed any kind of money prior. So I walked away. I was frustrated and upset but I walked away. This year I needed to get my medical records transferred to another doctor. This office charged me over $100 for my own records not printed emailed.

I found Dr Torres to be very considerate of all my problems. She listened to all my concerns. She then prescribed just what I needed. All in the office were professional. I would highly recommend Dr Torres.

I cant say enough about them!! I have never had as good an experience with a Dr.s office as I have had with them. Mona was amazing and helped me above and beyond with appointments, surgery scheduling, payments etc. She is so, so sweet. The front desk girls are so nice and helpful as well. I have forgotten their names, Im sorry. The nurses Mary Ann, Ashlie and Millie are so kind and make you feel so comfortable and cared for. The ultra sound girl, Jennifer does such a fantastic job and really knows her stuff and I have usually gone to Moffitt for this kind of ultra sound and she is better, very gentle and didnt hurt me at all. Barbara and Javier go the extra yard to help you with insurance. They are really on top of things. I had a little trouble leaving a message on their phones one time and Javier took the time to listen and immediately updated and fixed the glitch in the system. He was happy to get my feed back. They are very fair and honest. They over charged me by accident and I would never have know but they pointed it out to me and made it right, right away. I have nothing to say but good things about this office. Dr. Torres is amazing and takes the time to answer any questions. She is very, very compassionate and knowledgeable. She had to do a biopsy on me at the hospital and I had the best experience I have ever had with the surgery. I had no infection or problems and she was so good I didnt even have to take any of the pain meds she prescribed for me. There is not one person in their office who doesnt go above and beyond for you. I have moved around a lot over the years and been to many doctors offices and this one is by far the BEST!! I cant thank them enough for how they have treated me, with such kindness, professionalism, compassion, respect and knowledge.

I went to Dr. Torres after having a very bad experience with a Dr. in Tampa. So glad I went. I feel so comfortable with her. She made me feel at ease right away. Never once went to a computer to do notes. She made sure to discuss my whole history with me since I was new to the practice. Office staff and nurse was also very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this office and am so glad I found them.

I recently had to have a partial hysterectomy and she did my surgery at Mease countryside with the da Vinci system. The recovery time was minimal. Having had the Da Vinci procedure done, I am feeling great. The post-op healing time was minimal and hardly any pain after the day of the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Torres and her staff. They are full of knowledge and willing to answer all your questions/concerns.

I was having a delicate procedure done today, so I was very apprehensive . Ms. Torres was very comforting, caring, professional and helped ease my concerns. The procedure was much easier to handle with her ease of care.

Just stay away. Are first visit, the doctor did not even see us. The nurse examed my wife? What can i say just be careful. I did not meet Wanda Torres i dont know who she is if she is any good bec she did not show for our appointment.She might be a good doctor i dont know maybe you will find out if you are lucky. Waste of time and money if Wanda Torres reads my message please i did not pay. 170 $ For a nurse practisioner to exam me.

Have been a patient since 2003. Tried seeing a different gynecologist last year before Covid shut everything down, and couldn’t wait to switch back to Dr. Torres. Very attentive, answers all my questions, and is super helpful with PCOS.

This is the worst OB office I have ever been to, and I have been to a couple bad ones. Of the 3 or 4 appts I had, all were at least 45 minutes behind. I was left to sit undressed twice for 30 plus minutes. It was insisted that I go to a new pt ob appt for education though this was my 4th kid. I changed my vacation to oblige since they only do them on mondays. There was absolutely no pt education done at that appt. I was told I was being set up for a payment plan for what my portion of the delivery would be. I said I would find a new practice as I dont pay for services I havent yet received. I filled out a form to have my records sent to another practice to be reviewed to see if I would be accepted. I also paid $51 to have my records burned onto a cd. I called to cancel the request to have my records faxed to that other office just hours after leaving. I received a letter two days later saying I had been discharged since my care was transferred. My care has not been transferred yet. They havent even gotten my records faxed yet. I have no doctor now, and they have no intentions of changing their decision.Update: after writing this review, I received a call from my pharmacy to tell me that they had a prescription ready for me. I guess I will just assume what it was prescribed for since the office has yet to call me to tell me that they got test results back and called in a prescription. It has been hours since I got the call from the pharmacy, and that was probably at least two hours after they got the RX called in to them.

From the receptionist to the nurse, Dr. Torres and check-out I was impressed with all of their kindness and professionalism. Would highly recommend. Priscilla M. Rohr

High risk patient DROPPED from care. On January 5th a letter was sent to me stating that I was being dropped for persisting to not follow what they said. The ONLY thing I did was see a different counselor (one that Ive seen before) than they suggested when they took me off my category C SSRI for crippling depression. They then placed me on another category C drug that I told them didnt work for me. A week later I became so ill with depression that I called and begged for their help. They offered no help at all.Twice I was talked to by office staff as if I were trash. Ex : I accidentally wrote the wrong name down for my neurologist (off by a letter) It was an Indian name, I did my best. The assistant said Well do you think you could actually write the right name down this time? Insead of You misspelled this name, can you correct it for us?Ex : I was called by office staff asking why I havent seen their counselor. I said I saw someone that Ive previously seen, I thought it would help not having to start over. She then said I need to make sure youre being compliant I explained that I was, indeed. Even though I felt like I was being treated like some kind of criminal instead of an ill/depressed/ 20 wk pregnant patient.I have called many times to ask why they did this to me. My calls were never answered and voicemails were never returned. I have been left with no doctor until Im accepted by another (I was already working on switching) Please beware. I beg you! I have 7 lesions on my brain. Ive had preeclampsia in both of my previous pregnancies (one led to HELLP syndrome) and I was dropped without any care or concern.Im asking that the office does not respond here with a condescending reply as Ive seen them do to at least one other ex-patient. They had more than a month to answer the phone or return my calls. Its over now.

Patricia is horrible and treated my daughter like dirt, the office is not friendly or helpful. They are happy to tell you what they dont do, they have no answering service and barely answer the phone during office hours. My daughter dreaded every visit, thankfully she has transferred to another OB.

Terrible. She doesn’t care about women’s pain and obviously doesn’t trust her patients. If you are looking for a doctor to help with endometriosis or period pain this is not the one to go to.

Great visit, no problems or complaints. Dr. Torres listened to my concerns and addressed each and every one.

The office management here is absolutely terrible. Dont care about patients or patient health. Been emailing and calling and get no where! Been trying to get a copy of my medical records for over 2 months. Dont go here!

I had a good experience from start to finish. I was very well received and treated very well by the girl at the reception and the nurse Maryann. I was seen at the scheduled time, without 1 minute delay. Dr. Wanda Torres treated me with great sensitivity and paid attention to all my complaints. She seemed sincere and confident, at the same time that she always emphasized that I was the person who knew the most about my body and that the final decision would always come from me. She was recommended to me because of my history of endometriosis and she knew how to deal with me very well.

Honestly, she is the best Doctor in the entire area. I had had Endrometrosis for 3 years and nothing had been done to me except other doctors and I went to Wanda and she quickly gave me tests and they operated on me in less than 1 month. Thank God everything was super good. Its true that she is an excellent doctor and her assistant too.
