I came to see Sarah at YinRoot when I was 4 months postpartum from my second c-section. I received Mercier massage therapy and a plethora of knowledge from Sarah about the benefits of this type of massage pertaining to c-section recovery. I started seeing Joelle when my period returned after my youngest was born. I was having severe period pain which I hadnt experienced before. After my first session, I noticed a huge shift and the pain was almost completely gone after a few months. I found Joelle after I had surgery to remove Stage I endometriosis (I wish I would have found her sooner). My fertility specialist wanted us to try to become pregnant for 6 months before doing IUI or IVF. After 3 months of TTC with no luck I started with Joelle on month 4 of TTC. At the 2 hour consultation I just knew I would become pregnant with Joelle. Her passion for this & her personal experience & knowledge was nothing short of amazing. I did 1 massage session with a Yoni bath & read the material provided along with working on the ovulation tracking with her & I BECAME PREGNANT! I did have an early miscarriage at 5 weeks which Joelle helped me through but I finally had a POSITIVE pregnancy test. I had never had one before. The next month I did not receive another massage due to the shut down of COVID but continued to work with Joelle via Zoom & became pregnant again!!!! I am now over 24 weeks pregnant with our first child after TTC for 2 years & 7 months. I have referred Joelle to anyone & everyone I know going through Infertility. YinRoot is an amazing practice that cares deeply for women’s health. My path of Mercier therapy helped keep my endometriosis and PCOS at bay. Joelle was able to guide me through a journey that reduced and diminished a blood clotting challenge of 6 years. We didn’t believe we could have anymore children, and we were good with our two sweet girls. However after completing Mercier Therapy, my body was healed! We now have 3 sweet girls (10 years later 🤣 for #3). YinRoot healed my body in a way that no other clinician or drug was able to do. I will always be grateful.

Joelle was instrumental in my fertility journey. With her help and her referral to a local nurse midwife, I discovered that I had some thyroid issues and nutritional deficiencies. The midwife ultimately referred me to IFI, where they found that I had endometriosis, blocked tubes, and a septate uterus.I dont know that I would have made it that far without Joelles coaching, problem solving, and advice. Not to mention that the Mercier therapy is super relaxing and feels great. I saw her for about a year, which is right about when I had my IVF transfer. It worked on the first try! After hearing from other people who did IVF too, Im really glad I spent the time on the front end making sure my health was where it needed to be before I spent all the money on potential failed rounds of IVF. And now we have a happy, healthy 6 month old baby boy to show for it!

I first started working with Joelle after being diagnosed with uterine scarring. At that point I had been dealing with infertility treatment for a year and a half and was in a negative place emotionally. I worked with her in conjunction to my physician and between the two approaches, they were able to rid my uterus of all scar tissue. Anyone who is struggling with infertility experiences many dark days, and it is so nice to have someone there to listen and understand. I first met Joelle Samples from YinRoot about 5 years ago after I found out my AMH level was extremely low. It was discouraging, but Joelle gave me hope! She helped me find ways I could improve my chances, such as better nutrition/mental health, and reducing toxins. She was always so positive and encouraging. As a 33 year old with clubbed Fallopian tubes, I’d experienced three failed IVF cycles prior to finding Mercier Therapy. We began working with Joelle in March of 2017. I had a personal health history that was a little complicated - I had been suffering from daily migraines for years prior to experiencing difficulty conceiving. After a referral from a friend to go to Joelle after trying a couple rounds of ovulation medications unsuccessfully, I ended up beginning the Shared Journal Fertility Program with Joelle. Through working with her and her recommendation to work with other holistic fertility and health providers such as Vitalize Physical Therapy, Excell for Life, and Napro and Creighton Model providers, we have been able to see a decrease in frequency and intensity of my daily migraines as well as improving regularity of my cycles and decreased intensity of my symptoms. I also have been able to find more answers as far as why we are going through this - receiving diagnoses that have brought more clarity. Joelle has taken this information and helped us to change how we are addressing it in a proactive and holistic way, while also helping guide us to other resources as needed. Though we have not experienced the joy of expecting an addition to our family, we have gained more clarity along the journey and seen health benefits in other ways as my overall health has improved.
