The nurses and doctors were nice but the place needs a deep cleaning. This is the room they placed me in.
I go here because its never a long wait. Dr Baker saw me and did additional workup. In other urgent cares, they write you an Rx and send you your way. Dr Baker even did her own imaging! Dr Baker is a compassionate doctor and even wanted me to do a follow up visit to make sure I was feeling better. Thats like a primary MD there and not just an Urgent Care provider. Would definitely recommend this place.
My daughter & I waited for almost 3 hours to be seen. It was clear the staff was not happy about having to be there by their demeanor. We watched other patients come in after us and be seen before us. When I asked why this was happening the woman behind the desk told me they were here before us, but that was a blatant lie and I know this because we had been sitting in the waiting room for hours watching everyone walk in and saw the order of names on the sign in sheet. She also told me she needed a copy of health records, so I accessed them through my primary care’s patient portal, but she refused to print them for me. She told me I had to go find someplace to print them and come back. I ended up having to leave and go to a local library. Ridiculous. If the visit wasn’t absolutely necessary, I would’vedefinitely walked out.
The doctor was so friendly nice respectful listened word for word took action treated my kid like his own. Hes definitely the go to doctor shes never felt so comfortable. The staff was so amazing too! Everyone was super nice smiles on faces and the wait time was less than 5 minutes for me. I was in and out the office. AFC in Paramus should get 100 not a 10!! Thank you so much for your services. I highly recommend who ever is afraid of needles oh geez how they handled it didnt get upset or angry! They were talking to my kid to make her feel comfy and even laughed with her to make her feel like 1 of their own!
The place is very pleasant and the staffs are friendly and knowledge. I went today for my pre-employment physical. The staff noticed that my epassport expired soon. She quickly guided me to complete the paperwork and worked efficiently. I have completed everything within time limit.
I got cut in my foot while playing with kids today (Sunday evening). I went in at 6pm despite closing time being 6pm, wanted to check my luck. Not only did they take me in, I got stitches and an amazing service from Shallyn at the front desk and the doctor. Very positively surprised and AFC has earned a supporter.
The place was very clean .Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience and I definitely would recommend it . The one that my fiance and I appreciate the most is Shirley, but Dr. Ana and Matt receptionist were also awesome 👍🏿
Arrived almost 2 hours ago to get an X-ray. There were four people ahead of us and maybe people who walked in had appointments. Most were walk- ins. Easily 10 people were in and out before us.No communication from staff other than “I don’t know and the doctor can do X-rays.” Obviously, Dr. Borkowski was not here today. Been here before when he is the doctor. He is terrific and things move more smoothly with good communication. Before going, ask if Dr. Borkowski is the doctor or find another Urgent Care.
Yes, I would recommend that your receptionist listen more to a new patient ;;to make sure to give the correct information in regards to referrals needed. The receptionist first said that your office doesnt give a doctor referral or take my insurance. Until, I told her that I have called my health insurance that they confirmed AFC does give a referral and accept my insurance.Other than those two things, there is nothing else that needs improvement.
Waited an hour and a half to see the doctor. Somehow they drew blood for the wrong thing. Didnt call me or email me with the results so I had to call them. Good clinic but must get organized.
This office is wonderful they are so kind, friendly, compassionate and make you feel VERY COMFORTABLE. They take their time with you and you will never feel rushed. I definitely recommend this office Dr. Lugo is wonderful and so is Malvika and Melissa.
The doctor and the staff were all fantastic and professional. I was seen and treated in a timely manner, but I didnt feel rushed like some other urgent care offices.
I went in for a checkup and the nurse Marianmi Pera was so professional and helpful I was a little nervous but she assured me everything will be fine. I went in for the check up by Dr. Douglas Borkowski I highly recommend him and this office so nice and helpful really professional!!!
While the office is run very efficiently and wait time low, I will never go back. After a positive rapid test for Strep, Dr. Borkowski prescribed me a Z Pack and told to come back after I finished the course. Antibiotics usually work pretty quickly for me, and when I called after 3 days to say, my symptoms were still pretty bad, the office told me to stay on it and take the full course. I went in the day after I finished the course still not feeling 100 percent, and he told me to come back in three days, because the antibiotic would be in my system for 40 more hours. I decided to see another doctor the next day, because my symptoms worsened. The doctor I saw, said that the Z-Pak prescribed at that dose would be very unlikely to effectively treat strep. This other doctor prescribed me a different antibiotic, and after one day on the antibiotic, I am feeling much better. The unfortunate thing is that instead of being on an antibiotic for 5 to 10 days, I now have to be on one for 15 because of this AFC doctor’s poor medicine. If I hadn’t seen this other doctor and waited another three days and gone back to AFC, with my symptoms worsening, I very well likely could have infected people at work and my family members. Not sure why I was told to come in after the course of the antibiotics if I wasn’t going to be treated because, as a doctor said, “the antibiotics would be in my system for another 40 hours. “ It seems like the strategy might be to get patients back in for office visits versus actually practicing thoughtful, responsible Medicine.
Excellent Urgent Care Center! Extremely professional and courteous as well as quick and efficient.
I recently had an awful experience at AFC Urgent care with Melissa Amsellem, PA. I waited over an hour to see someone and when Melissa walked into the room she was accusatory, dismissive, and generally unhelpful. As someone with medical trauma, getting a practitioner who treats you poorly is a huge fear. I left, saw another doctor at a different practice who helped me immediately, listened to my symptoms and gave her a medically appropriate treatment plan that didnt include just go to the ER like Melissa demanded without listening to my needs. Spoiler: I didnt need to go to the ER (and I knew that at the time). Its hard to shake the experience I had at AFC Urgent Care and I typically dont leave negative reviews but I would hate for someone else to feel the way I felt leaving that office.
Marianmi, Joshua, and Dr. Ana were awesome. Super attentive, answered all my questions, and helped me feel at ease. Highly recommended.
Waited 3 hours to be seen for an x-ray for a broken rib only to be told the doctor didn’t know I was supposed to get an x-ray. Left and will hope the refund they issued goes through. Biggest waste of my work day and didn’t get any kind of apology from anyone other than the receptionist.
Doctor Baker was competent, kind and patient with my 90 year old mother in law.The office well organized and clean.
It took a while , but everyone was nice . I loved the doctor. I was well taken care of,
Amazing experience at AFC. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. The staff was very friendly and thorough. They truly took their time, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you so much! If you have to go to urgent care definitely come here.
Good care but they should tell you at the front desk upon arrival that the wait would be more than two hours . The waiting room was not representative of that.
I dont normally leave reviews, but my recent experience at this urgent care warranted this review to give others an idea of what to expect before they make the decision to take the trip here. This urgent care of Paramus needs to more efficient in the time it takes to see patients. I was waiting for almost 2 hours to get routine COVID testing and a doctors note. I understand a wait time if the facility is busy with lots of patients especially during this time of year. However, as there was only 1 other person in the waiting room, anyone would expect to be seen within the hour at most. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case.
Very good experience. I was in and out w/in 30 min. The Dr was in w/in 1 min. and everyone was attentive, professional and comforting, which is important when youre feeling so bad.My husband was there yesterday and was also very pleased w the Dr and care he received.Keep up the great work. This is our go-to when sick.
In and out!! Super professional and as always, Dr. B is the best. Also, huge shout out to Henry!! Easiest blood draw ever!!!
Needed my physical for school done and they got it done super quick for me, I highly recommend this placeThank you to Marianmi, Henry and the DoctorGreat staff
AFC did a great job in testing my blood to determine if I had a Bacterial or Virus Cold. It was determined to be a Bacterial Code so I was prescribed two prescriptions.
Short wait time on the weekend and friendly staff. The doctor was knowledgeable and sympathetic. Clean office and very online savvy.
We came around 45 minutes before they closed and the waiting room started to crowd with about 5 other people, so we ended up being there almost 30 minutes after they closed. So, I would u derstand why the workers would be a little annoyed to stay late, but 3/4 of the workers I interacted with were very rude. Was told to give a urine sample by the doctor so I followed him out only for him to walk away and I had to go to the desk to ask where to do it. The doctor was rude to me and I could tell he wanted to leave. When we left they locked the doors which made sense we were there after their closing times, so my mom went to ask someone to unlock it and verbalized she needed help (the walls are paper thin) this one worker came out before we could properly ask, bumped into my mom without saying anything, unlocked the door and bumped into her again. Very rude people at this facility.
I was helped by Marianni , the Medical Assistant. She was very helpful. Seriously an amazing place.
First and foremost, I want to say that Neftali and Shaniefa are the two most pleasant and professional employees at AFC URGENT CARE in Paramus NJ.As a Class A driver coming in to get a d.o.t physical half a year ago, Afc was a great experience for me and they did everything correctly including sending my paperwork to the dmv after my physical was completed.Unfortunately some dmv employee who recieved the fax made some sort of an error that day and my paperwork was not processed at the dmv and had caused my license to get revoked and downgraded to a d class from an A class. This could have costed me thousands of dollars in fines if I were to be pulled over and given an expensive citation while operating a 18 wheeler with only a D license and no valid medical card documented at the dmv. And to me, this is a tremendous concern and thankfully I was not a victim of this situation. This was NOT the fault of AFC. This was the dmvs fault as their employee had made a major mistake and discarded my paperwork or accidentally did not put it in their system correctly. Who knows? So today, after receiving a letter from the dmv that my license is now class d, I decided to take days off from work and re-visit AFC Urgent Care. I had hopes that my paperwork was still in their system and that the employees there can re-fax it again to the dmv and hopefully this time the dmv wont make the same mistake again.Neftali and shaneifa reassured me and proved to me that the employees months prior at AFC who faxed my paperwork actually did everything correctly and did in fact fax it over. Neftali and Shaneifa showed the time stamp of the fax on the date that it was faxed and showed that it was sent and recieved by the dmv office which assured me that the DMV in fact is 100000000% at fault and to blame for this stressful situation that I am in.And thankfully so, AFC had my paperwork in their system still to this date and Neftali and Shanieta were extremely pleasant and helpful in understanding my situation and doing everything possible to make sure that the issue gets resolved. They were patient with me and understood my frustration.Neftali and Shaniefa heard my problem thoroughly and knew exactly what process needed to be done in order to resolve my unlucky and unfortunate situation. Not only did they look up my info and correctly made sure to hear me out on what exactly that I needed, they also took the initiative to go the extra mile and print out and make extra copies for me of the paperwork so that in the future I wont have issues down the road and wont have to return again for whatever reason saving me time, stress, and money by not having me need to take time off from work again.Neftali and Shaniefa have great positive attitudes and show effort which made me feel comfortable and relieved during this stressful time. They showed confidence, professional composure when I was upset, and they gave me reassurance and that is important to me when i support a business. On top of their professionalism, they provide a positive vibe and smiles and I will be returning to AFC Urgent Care in Paramus Nj again for a follow up d.o.t physical in the near future 100%. All businesses should hire employees like Neftali and Shaniefa. Its key for a good relationship to exist between a business and customers and it starts with great communication and effort from the staff working. I would give 10 stars if I could.Thank you AFC. :)
I did my drug test here a couple years ago and a couple years later this place is billing me when they should have been billing the company I work for. The billing support team was rude on the phone.
Everyone is very nice and professional. Took care of us quickly. And I love Dr. Borkowski.
AFC Urent Care Staff are hospitable. I had a wonderful interaction. Keep up the good work.
The whole experience was fantastic. I was seen quickly and the doctor was first rate.
Excellent care and very nice people! Taken in rather quickly as well. Highly recommended.
My son was in pain. AFC was very accommodating with a quick appointment that afternoon. “Come early if you can.”Check in and examination were handled quickly and efficiently. Emma, the nurse practitioner, explained the diagnosis and plan for treatment clearly and we were on our way in what seemed like no time. Maybe 45 minutes start to finish. We have used this urgent care before and will keep coming back.
Very nice very professional and made me feel comfortable. I love both the staff and doctors and office.
The staffs are very friendly and quick to attend to patients. I will highly recommend..
The young man who answered the phone was helpful and attentive, went over and above what I expected. This was a televisit with a doctor so its a different experience but it was positive. The whole experience lacked any of the aggravation I was dreading! Definitely recommend.
We use AFC Urgent care for the whole family. I like that they honor appointments and everyone is so nice. Susan, at the reception desk, went above and beyond to help me when I came in with my sick child.
Great place to visit starting from reception ladies the nurse and a doctor. Very fast and convenient strongly recommended
Please get rid of dr. Carlos Ceasar . He was incredibly rude . I read his reviews and oh boy this guy is horrible. It’s obvious he dislikes his job , especially women .
I have been coming here for years. Sometimes, there is a wait. Its an urgent care center, its expected. Today, I sit here, already over a 2 hour wait. No, its not crowded. Noone has checked in. Noone has acknowledged me. They put u in a room with the door closed. I open the door. Still nothing. Not only am I a patient (who is here bc of an illness) but I am also a customer. This is very bad business AFP. Poor patient care. What a disappointment. I just walked out. What a waste of time.
Every staff member I encountered were very friendly, professional, helpful, and put me at ease. Very pleased with my first time experience there! THANK YOU to ALL staff!! Will definitely go again if necessity dictates.
Received a call from the billing department 3 years later stating I owed $120 from visiting this location. They provided little to no information regarding my account. When I called back after calling my insurance - who said they never received claim - the woman who answered was extremely snarky and rude to me. I asked for my account number and she responded with, Well, I dont see why they would need that information, but anyway. HUH?! They need it because it was never forwarded to them and now they have to resend an entire new billing form through *their* billing department!3 years ago. I dont even live in the state anymore. Ridiculous.
If there was a zero star, I would give this to Dr. Lugo Blanco or a Blanco P Baker. The short female doctor with eye glass, blonde hair.It was before Thanksgiving Day, I went there for a follow up visit and I had asked her to fill up some forms for the Army due to my injury last month.I can’t believe my eyes and ears. She was there arguing with me. As a doctor she should have been helpful and willing to help. How did she even become a doctor?!? And it’s the holidays, she should have been kind. And she even said with a very nasty tone, I don’t remember seeing last month, I see so many patients. Wow!!! And my first encounter with her was super nice and now she has turned into a terrible person.
AFC is clean, friendly staff and Dr, efficient, professional and gave excellent service. I will be back.
Website said wait time was 0-15min. Its been over an hour so far and just got into a room.Update: After an 1.5hours, they just said the X-Ray tech wasnt in today! Why didnt they say that from the start?!?! We told them why we were there. Dont ever go here.
The staff were good and very attentive. The doctor was also good very caring and attentive to detail.
The real score is a zero. Made an appointment online. Took an hour to be seen. Waited almost another hour for an XRay. The doctor claimed we were the last ones here but there were several people after us and they all were seen before us!
Everyone is very nice, as soon as I arrive they took care of me, the receptionist, the nurses and the doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable.I will definitely recommend this facility to all my friends and family.Thank you AFC team. Keep up the good work.
Thank you 😁 I went in for an infection, my hand the service was pdoctor was well-educated and prescribed antibiotics and ran some tests and labs very satisfied with my experience, and will use them again if needed. Definitely recommend this location.
SCAM. This place is nothing but a deceitful and fraudulent “urgent care”. I made the mistake of reaching out to them to book a Rapid Covid 19 test, which was a formality for international travel. I specifically asked the price of the test on the phone and at the reception, and was blatantly lied to by their staff, who claimed there was no cost involved. Later I received a bill in the mail for an outrageous $308!To make matters worse, there was a child attending to patients at the front desk, and a long wait time of over an hour in a treatment room. It was a complete and utter nightmare, and I urge everyone to steer clear of this place at all costs. Dont fall prey to their deceptive tactics and unethical practices.
Over all, it is okay. But I feel, there was a lack of professionalism in customer service. I didn’t feel any welcoming emotions at the front desk or the doctor. Spot faces
Oct 2022: ((X-ray machine but no tech)): Staff is courteous and Dr. B is knowledgeable/efficient. However, I went here because the website said they had an x ray machine. They do… but currently no techs to work it. I’ve now had to visit a separate radiology facility and will have to wait a few hours for results. If I have a fracture I’ll then have to visit an orthopedist. ((Glad they gave me a sling for no extra charge though)).If I knew I was better off just going to the ER I would have, but I didn’t want to take time and resources away from patients in greater need than me.
Recent trip to AFC in Paramus was as enjoyable as a trip to an Urgent care facility could be! From checkin to DR review, staff was friendly and efficient!!!
Great staff and services. My experience was excellent and I would like to thank them again for their speedy accommodating services. Highly recommend using them whenever in need of urgent care services.
I went to this place for medical attention. At first they were all very professional and even quite personable. Apparently the Dr. (or closest to being a Dr, Deanna is her name I believe) called me and left a message for me to call her back.I called her back repeatedly and each time she was supposedly with a patient. I found this ironic because when I was there I had to get up and go to the door of the little room they had me in to remind her or anyone else that I was there waiting.Regardless of whatever profession you work, you should always, ALWAYS return calls and be attentive to your customers, clients or patients. This didnt happen for me and I hope and pray whoever reads this will get the medical and emotional reassurance they may need. Thank you.
The receptionist and nurse were super nice and great. The doctor on the other hand was a nightmare. I went in due to stomach problems and I was told I had the norovirus despite not being exposed to the virus. I ended up having horrible food poisoning. She literally told me Well you work with children so its probably the norovirus. Not a single person at my job has the virus and no one at home does either so I just magically got it. She also prescribed a z-pak which obviously would not help me because antibiotics dont work on viruses. My fiancé and I had to do our own research to find a prescription drug that would help and then call back the office and ask for it to be sent to the pharmacy. We were able to get the prescription filled and it finally started to relieve my symptoms after 16 hours of unbearable nausea and stomach pain. We are not medical professionals and should not have to play doctor after meeting with a physician. The entire experience was terrible.
My family and I have been patients here for many years. Although the wait can be long at times, I’ve generally always had a good experience. Sue and Dr. B have always been great. However, the nurse I experienced during intake this evening was beyond aggressive. Her lack of patience created an extremely uncomfortable patient experience. When asking the routine questions before seeing the doctor she chose to ignore my responses and re-ask the question until I gave her one word answers. Each time she repeated a question she grew angrier and became louder. It was as if she was annoyed to be checking me in. “When asked if I had any allergies to medications?” - (Which I would think would be pretty crucial information) - I went to grab my phone to read her a list I have saved and instead she yelled “NO, I SAID DO YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES OR NOT?” She made me feel so uncomfortable and uptight, I dropped my phone out of nervousness and replied, “No.” …God forbid I waste another minute of her time and read my list. Ironically, the cause of my visit wound up being related to a recent allergic reaction I had experienced. I am by no means a difficult or combative person so I am unsure the immense aggression towards me as a patient. After many years of service, I am not sure my family or I will return.
The worst experience I have ever had. I normally never leave bad reviews on any platform however as this is a facility for the ill I beleive it is imperative that this is known and handled appropriately. I got to this facility at 8:30am with severe urinary and kidney stone pain. I explained to the individual at the desk that I was in pain and felt the urge to urinate(they always ask for urine in a cup) so I asked if I can collect my sample now because I wasnt sure if I would be able to urinate later with my pain. The lady was very rude and said I had to fill out all documents prior to being able to use the bathroom at the facility. I gave her my license and insurance card and told her please you can have this I need to use the bathroom Im bleeding and In a lot of pain. She continued to tell me I had to fill out the forms. Another lady came took my docs and let me use the bathroom. At this point I am the second person in the visit room. I explain to the front desk my pain is severe and I may have to go to the hospital Im not sure how long I can wait and asked how long the wait was and was not answered. I fill out my documentation and hand it in prior to the first patient in the waiting room. Then another patient comes and is seen first (the third patient) the original nurse who speak with me and said I couldnt use the bathroom is in the background bad mouthing patients for not reading signs correctly in the from the door and being completely unprofessional. It is now 9:47 and I am just entering the urgent care patient room to be seen where the room is completely unorganized and looks completely in presentable. This location doesnt look clean. The staff is not professional (there was a young man in training he was kind) the waiting rooms have paperwork and laptops just thrown on the table. This is absolutely not the level of standard a AFC location should have and I will be reporting this to the owner of this establishment.
Dr. Lugo Baker is professional, friendly and compassionate. You are thankful to be in her care. And the staff most helpful
The best care anywhere in Bergen County! I needed surgical clearance, my doctor couldnt see me, but AFC did. The technician who drew my blood, was a absolute professional. The next day I didnt have a bruise, just a tiny mark. In and out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was pleasant and friendly. And they took my insurance, my copay was the same as if I went to my doctor.
I would avoid this place as much as possible. We were very unhappy with the experience, and when asked what they could have done better, there are too many things, but here are some highlights:They could have done some medical checking before making conclusions, could have been more professional instead of panicking when we said my mother had tested positive for COVID (it is not 2020 anymore), and also, being that there was a patient over 70 years old and feeling very bad and with difficulty to move or stand, they could have let us wait for our pick up car (about 10 minutes) instead of throwing us out where we didnt have a place to sit while waiting for the car.
Very organized and quick, accepted walk in even though its Sunday, caring staff, best urgent care Ive visited no doubt about it.
30 mins to see the dr.... and the x-ray person is on break??? I get it, people need to take breaks, but coverage should be comprehensive.. if you need urgent care i would not come here...
I’m only giving one star because zero or negative stars is not an option. After being checked in to have my foot looked at, by lovely people, the doctor came in. He was in the room for…not exaggerating…less than a minute. Probably 45 seconds. Did not look at my foot, Didn’t X-ray it…he never even TOUCHED my foot!! He asked me which side of my foot the pain was on, suggested I see a orthopedist and….wished me nice day. There was no examination of ANY kind….ZERO!!! This was not the Dr whose name (Dr. B) is on the front door…not sure who this doctor was. Upon leaving I had to leave my name with the acting manager because I’m unwilling to pay for an examination that NEVER OCCURRED!
Wonderful service, they are very professional, I also want to say that the MA Lira was very kind and comforting.
I would not like to visit this place again. This was my first visit. The check in was long and 50 min process. There were 3 people.l including me and the other two came after me.They showed no courtesy to me and did not follow basic common sense processes. When I handed over the paperwork, They kept me waiting standing while asking someone else questions for 10 min. They did not have basic sense to let me know if I should wait standing or if I can go have a seat. The nurse was horrible. She was annoyed. There was no welcoming words or positive experience in the entire visit.Totally disorganized place and I hope not to visit again.
During these couple of weeks we had to use the service twice-had to rush my husband on a Sunday evening for flu onset, and used the service today for myself. The staff is very nice and professional. They are knowledgeable and to the point. Both Monica Sirotovich in December and Mauricio Sanchez today are professional, smart, cautious and careful. Highly recommend
DO NOT GO HERE. they do not treat their patients like actual people. I was so sick and they made me wait 2 hours for a test that i had an appointment for that day to then call me while im sitting in my car and tell me to they cant take me until the next day. i felt awful and was persistent that i get tested for covid, and eventually they let me get a test, but get this they stuck the swab up my nose while standing behind the building by the dumpster. they wouldnt let me inside. no way to treat a patient let alone a human being. your management should be ashamed. they didnt even assess me i ended up going to another place the next day.
Everyone at UCF Urgent care was pleasant, knowledgeable and comforting. Check-in was quick and easy. Doctor Assistant was very good and Doctor was excellent. I got there feeling nervous and left feeling relieved. I will definitely go to UFC if I need urgent care in the future and recommend them highly.
Never too long of a wait and the staff are all very friendly!
I brought my boss into this urgent care a week ago. I thought he may have a sinus infection. From the moment we walked in the door he was given excellent care. The front desk girls were polite, friendly and helpful. The tech that took his vitals was also polite, informative and professional. They brought my boss right into a treatment room and we waited less than 5 minutes before the doctor came in. After a thorough examination and the doctor asking my boss some questions, he informed us that would should go straight to the ER as this could be a potentially life threatening condition. We did as instructed and went straight to the ER. In a short amount of time my bosss condition was getting worse and worse. Thankfully he got to the ER and was taken in immediately. He was diagnosed with sepsis and spent a week in the hospital. Had the urgent care not stressed how serious this could be, my boss would probably not be here today. I have and will continue to recommend this urgent care to other people.
My regular doctor was off for the day, so I went to Doctors Express.. The staff was very professional and thorough. Nurse David and Dr Borkowski treated me with kindness and professionalism. Having been a medical technologist previously, I could appreciate the thoroughness of the testing performed, as well as the appropriateness. I would certainly visit the Doctors Express again, and I would recommend it to others. They were there when I needed them.
My wife and I took the nasal Covid-19 test at this place, required for our vacation travel. First, we were told to drive to the back of their building and wait in our car by the dumpster. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I had to go in and remind that we were waiting as instructed. The technician who finally came out - Alyssa - took the credit card payment with the card device first, and then proceeded to the test taking. I asked her if she could please change her exam gloves, since she touched the door surface on her way out and handled my credit card and the payment unit, but she refused and started arguing that she will still have to touch the door after she changes gloves and comes out. After my insisting, she finally went back in, and after her vocal exchange with someone in her team behind half open door, that we could hear from our car, she finally came out with gloves in her hands. She performed our tests so rough, that the testing kit stick was bending when she was shoving it deep into our nostrils. We had tears rolling down from pain. My wife had pain and bloody discharge from her test site nostril for three days. I still have bloody discharge, burning, and slight breathing obstruction from the test site nostril as of this writing, 12th day after this test, and now wondering if injury was inflicted or infection introduced to me by this procedure! She also refused to change gloves after performing test on my wife. I did not even bother asking her again, but she simply said she would not be changing it again, because they are heavily booked, and she has no time for it. What a barbaric, unprofessional, rude, with total lack of respect for patient legitimate preventive health concerns experience! This individual should not be in patient care industry ever. And this facility should seriously look into this misconduct and its practice related to this test taking. This was, and still is to me, the most atrocious and the only scary experience during this whole pandemic situation, that we experienced. These are not the standards of medical care, patients should be subjected to! Totally unacceptable and unnecessarily risky and unsafe, for what should be a simple safe procedure. Horrendous.
Levica and Dr. Baker were fast and Efficient. Would return!
Great Urgent care center! I sent my parents to this center in helping with an immigration physical. The center is clean and staff is very courteous. They are best in the area and highly recommend them.
I went in for a Covid test required to travel within 72 hours of departure. Everyone has been so nice and helpful with this process. I am anxiously waiting for my results before my flight as I type this and I am sure they will call or email asap. I am so thankful for their help and patience with everything! Hoping to get these results back soon. 😰 I certainly recommend this urgent care. Everyone is so helpful! Thank you!!
I found the staff and the doctors at AFC Urgent Care Paramus to be very professional and efficient. Our wait for the three times that we visited were each less than one hour and one visit required X-rays. The examination room was spotless, as was the waiting area. Over all, my experience was pleasant, and I definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care to anyone who needs medical attention
Excellent experience everytime I come here. This time I brought my 2 year old daughter and they handled things way better than the pediatrician !
On the day of my injury, I was seen quickly and the dr was professional; however, getting my results took way too long and the front desk people made no effort to expedite me getting my results when they finally were ready. I had to get upset before they agreed to schedule my results office visit in a timely manner. I was in lot of pain. Then the dr who gave me my results said I would need surgery but the surgeon did not agree. I thought the overall experience was disappointing.
This establishment has left me in disgust as how a healthcare and healthcare professionals operate. The organization, hospitality, and overall concern was unethical and discriminatory. Firstly, with a prescription from my surgeon they immediately told me they did not offer this before I could even explain that it was my doctor who recommended this place specifically because it DOES in fact offer the tests I needed. It seemed as if they jumped all over the idea of getting me out of their doors and seek elsewhere for help. I felt Immensely disrespected, judged, and discriminated against as i was asked to wait outside to schedule a telehealth video appointment. Must I say, that video appointment was unsuccessful with 45 minutes to wait AFTER my appointment time just for a simple CALL BACK. After this I was told to answer the exact same questions that I had provided previously. I had 3 different numbers call me from telehealth and AFC and ask me about my procedure. The one worker Maria who advised me that it was normal to have a wait time at this point an hour past my scheduled appointment time and 3 HOURS of sitting outside waiting to be seen, due to the telehealth registration and that I need to “continue to wait in my car” until THEY call me now. At this point I had seen one girl leave to go on her lunch break and come back (Samantha) while I continued to wait . The best part is that Samantha in the end was the one who had taken my blood, without knowledge of the additional tests required for the breast augmentation. It had become clear that the other worker girls did not want to do anything in assisting me. She was the only kind person in that office with a true compassion for helping others as well as with a knack for finding the vein. I wound up having to go elsewhere the next day for the additional blood test. I was humiliated, and believe this was done on purpose due to the fact that every female(9 of them) in the place had their eyes on me dead silent, muffling to each other under their breath as Maria continued to make me aware that I was not going to be seen anytime soon. Again I am shocked that this is condoned within a medical practice. I am a bartender and disrespect is easy for me to handle . This went above and beyond my expectations of any workplace “establishment.”
I went to Urgent Care for Flu like symptoms. After a very thorough exam it was determined I had a virus. I returned a week later for a followup and not having gotten any better I had a bacterial infection. Was prescribed antibiotics. Returned a week later better. There was hardly no wait to get in, staff was very friendly, caring and thorough. I even received 3 calls, 1 after each visit to see how I was doing.
Don’t come here for a Covid test. I understand everywhere is overwhelmed right now but this place is being untruthful with patients and that’s what upsets me. I got tested on Tuesday, both a rapid and a PCR. I was told me they would call with my rapid results in a few hours as it only took ten minutes to get the results. They never called and wouldn’t answer their phones so I had to drive to AFC for my results. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude to say the least when I got there. The doctor also promised my PCR results within 24 to 36 hours by phone call. We are now on day four, and still no call with my results. Again, I know everywhere is overwhelmed but they need to give out the right information upfront. I FINALLY got them on the phone and the girl told me “they were emailed,” which they were not. It is obvious this place is just in it for the money by requiring telemedicine visits before testing and testing way more people than they are capable of. I wouldn’t be so upset if the office staff was kinder and more truthful.
Staff is so friendly and fast!! 10/10 would recommend
Unlike many facilities, they make you have a telemedicine visit first which took 45 minutes past our appointment. Only then was I able to get my Covid test for my son. Which we had an appointment for. I called to see what was taking so long and the girl told me that they see everyone in the office first. But they make you wait in your car. It’s silly and unorganized. Go to the Doctors Office down the road. Much easier there.
Unfortunately, I have had to visit this Urgent Care a couple of times ... However, each time I visited, the staff was always kind and took us quickly and were informative and patient. They even made a follow-up phone call after our visits. Nice Facility. Great Customer Service.
They have to get out of the Covid testing business. First of all, unlike other facilities, they make you schedule a doctor’s visit before you can be tested. Getting to that video appointment was a challenge. Despite inputting my insurance into their system, apparently it didn’t save so they left me in the online waiting room for 45 minutes and didn’t bother to tell me why they weren’t sending in the doctor. I finally saw the doctor after calling and clearing things up. The doctor said we’d probably get the PCR tests the next day. It is FIVE days later and I just got the results, and I had to call them to get them. I tried calling twice yesterday but couldn’t reach a human. Today, I got through. When I asked why it took so long, the guy said, “We are busy.” I get it, but considering the entire process is about 1000% easier down the road at a facility called “The Doctor’s Office”, I do not recommend this place.
I also did not have a great experience at this AFC “urgent” care. It’s funny how the company name is “urgent” when they don’t treat you urgently. You could be dying in the car and they still got you on hold. I called various times for a covid test and they literally hung up the phone. Once again “urgent” care. What kind of treatment is that? They tell us to get tested but then don’t actually help the people that need to get tested right away. I get it, we’re all frustrated, everyone wants to go home with their families. But you cannot hang up on the phone on me when it’s 8am, the day hasn’t even started and you’re already hanging up the phone???? Not only this is an issue but their staff as well. If you can’t work in customer service then quit. it’s not for everyone, it’s a skill that’s hard to acquire. A specific staff member named Elizabeth as i’m sure you’ve heard of, does not have this skill whatsoever. Not only does she not attend to what people need at this “urgent” care but she is also lacks a heart. Usually people say “place yourself in someone’s shoes to understand.” Elizabeth lacks empathy and should not be working upfront when there are people who need to get tested for the sake of their elderly parents, newborn babies, and other family members. This is a matter that should be treated right away and someone needs to be held accountable. I hope that AFC “urgent” care fixes this and has a staff meeting because as I can see in the reviews below everyone has a problem with the staff and that should tell them something. If you don’t know how to work with people in a pandemic, then quit and find another job where you’re working in a cubicle. Some jobs aren’t for everyone. Treat people with kindness, not hate. I rest my case.
A complete of circus. Husband stopped in a couple of days Prior and was told no appointment necessary just walk in for a PCR Covid test. Got there at 8:30 this morning, was told to go to our car and register from our phone, and wait for a telemedicine appointment. After numerous times walking in to see what the holdup wait, finally spoke to a Doctor Who is not on the premises and told us to go around the back of building and wait for the nurse. The nurse who swabbed us was very nice but the the whole took over hour. Their system was completely mismanaged.
The staff was nice enough and wait time was not long. However, all I got out of it was a recommendation to go to the primary doctor or the ER. No medications (the problem was pretty obviously an infection of some type), no tests. So, my$25 copay went to getting a couple of pieces of paper that told me nothing. I would have gotten more value or of them if they were blank.
I had an outbreak of hives and swelling due to bee stings 2 weeks ago. The Dr subscribed the meds for me and it cleared up by the next day. Thank you AFC UC .
Such a great Staff! The lady at the front desk went above and beyond
What a horrible experience! They charged my son $132 for a covid test! This is completely unacceptable! When I called to find out why, I was told that he was seen by a doctor, but they didn’t check his vitals or his weight, or even test him for strep throat (he had a sore throat). I will be contacting the department of health to file an official complaint!! Beware of this place!!!
I literally wouldn’t even give this place half a star. Appointment was for 12:27 which I was informed a doctor would call. Nobody called until 2pm which they just asked questions that I ALREADY answered online they said someone would call me back. Nobody called and I never got my Covid test. HORRIBLE. The PA that called was also unprofessional and breezed through all my info. Seems from reading reviews they do this quite often.
Dr Alvarez is extremely thorough and the best provider New Jersey has to offer . My children and I adore him and put total trust in him with our lives.
Terrible! I have been waiting on cpr results since Wednesday. I have called and called unable to reach or leave a message. The recording states that someone will call once results are in within 48-72 hours. If more than 72 have passed to leave a voicemail. Their lines are so full of voicemails, the system doesnt allow them. Finally after calling repeatedly I reach someone who tells me the PCR results should have been emailed as they have been in! I never received an email. When I asked why no one called, I was told I dont know. When I told the receptionist that their voicemail is full, that I couldnt reach anyone, I was told sorry. When I told her the recording says someone will call with the results she said, oh, I dont know. The receptionist is beyond rude and they do not keep to their appointment or turn around time. Do not go to this place, you are wasting your time! All they want is money from your insurance!
Dr.B is a superb diagnostician and has excellent bedside manner. I will only go to him! Everyone there has always been polite and helpful. I have been there many times over the years for myself and my husband and have always had a good experience.
Zero if I could! Went for workers comp when I fell down stairs at a nearby school. They were not busy but had me wait over 3 hours in the waiting room, then over an hour in a back room. One person came in, I went through every detail, then had to repeat it all to another person, THEN the dr came in and had to again repeat. They then leave me there another 45 minutes until taking xrays. Upon returning a week later, the dr cleared me for light duty yet I had no improvement. I also had to wait well over an hour at that visit and they barely had any patients. Terrible customer service, terrible wait times, terrible service. Had it not been work related I would not have kept going back, and I will never go back. I would have been served better at any other urgent care, emergency room or other doctors office where they have actual real doctors.
At first I thought this place was just right but then I brought my wife there for a very severe headache they immediately said she had covid so she went for a test she was negative. Then they tried to charge her just under $1000 for another covid test cause the one she took was inaccurate. Weather you have insurance or not the covid test is 100 dollars. Not only did they try to scam her out of money they denied service. So we went elsewhere they took her in no problem. My wifes blood pressure was so high she almost had a stroke and because of this place she could have if we didnt go anywhere else. Ill NEVER go here again ever. They are the problem with the American health facilities. Please if you read this save the trip and go elsewhere
Absolutely terrible. Do not go here and see Dr. Saros if you can help it. Went in to see her for asthma symptoms that felt like it turned into bronchitis. She rushed through the appointment and even talked over me. She didnt listen to the questions I had, rushed out of the room to fill my antibiotic prescription to end the appointment. I told her I was leaving the next day for Arizona and would be in the sun so I asked her if Levaquin was safe, which she said it was not a sun sensitive antibiotic and I would be fine (should have done my own research on this but trusted the doctors word). Well Im sitting here with horrible heat rash which has ruined the rest of my vacation. If my regular doctor had been open I would have gone there. I will not return to this urgent care ever.
If I could give the review zero stars, I would. My husband went in for an abscess in his leg. We arrived around 3 oclock in the afternoon. He wasnt treated until after every single patient (including the ones who arrived AFTER him) was seen. When I asked the nurse if they were waiting to start his procedure until after all the patients had been seen, she lied to me and told me my husband would be next. We didnt leave until after the urgent care had closed (at this point, almost all the employees had left as well). He was told to come back MWF for follow up visits (which he was charged for). Along with recovering from the abscess, he now has Influenza A from his prolonged exposure to the urgent care (the doctor herself admitted that he had probably contracted it at the urgent care). All in all, I am very disappointed with the care that my husband received here.
Never in my life have I written a poor review of a doctors office. Please note this is about the doctor and not the staff who were extremely nice to me. I waited over 40 mins to be seen and Dr. Patel was easily the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. If she’s there, drive 1,000 miles if you have to to find another doctor. She is extremely disrespectful and told me “this isn’t a mall, you don’t get what you want” after I asked her for antibiotics for my tonsillitis which I’ve had before. She then told me I’m not getting antibiotics from her and I can come pay again during the week to see another doctor. Disgraceful
9/10. Thank you! I know AFC is busy. I did make a Telehealth appointment for 2:00pm. While I waited online for a Telehealth MD, I finally received a phone call at 3:15 pm on a separate phone line (from an MD.) So much for the Telehealth system. It would help as part of the assessment, for the doctor to see their patient. She was nice & knowledgeable, so that is why the 9/10. Thank you. Donna Puleo
I have gone to AFC Urgent Care many times now for covid tests and for online appts. They are always professional, helpful, and organized. Thank you so much.
Don’t even waste your time. They tell you 30-40 mins wait it’s more like 2-3 hour wait. Stay away!!!!!!!!! I almost passed out in the room and they didn’t even care
Thank you for working amongst a chaotic time. The staff and dr I dealt with were professional and communicative at the paramus location. I dealt w someone by the name of Sophia and Dr. Monica, both literally exhausted but still working and going out of their way. These past 2 weeks must have been just so stressful to say the least. TY for squeezing us in and taking care of us.
The kindness of the staff, especially Henry, was equally as important as the medical attention I received. I would recommend AFC Urgent Care to everyone I care about.
Great care and very courteous. I was so happy that you treated my son very well. Would be so glad to use your urgent care service again! Thanks!
I booked a COVID test here for 2:36 today. I was told that there would be a phone consultation then I would get in my car to cove over for the test. I was also told they were running behind. At 5:15, I called them to ask when I would hear from them; I was told in about 2.5 hours. I said okay as long as they called. Well, they NEVER called, and they are already closed, so I guess I’m not getting that phone call. What nonsense-how do they stay in business??
I took my 7yr old in with a terrible cough and sore throat. The staff was so kind and helpful the receptionist was very welcoming and Dr.Monroe was very thorough in treating and examining my son and giving us treatment options I will highly recommend them to family and friends.
The APN went beyond my expectations. She was polite and informative. If it wasnt for her, I would have no idea of my underlying pre-existing issues. She caught it early. I had an idea but she confirmed it. I am grateful for her. This visit is and will potential save my life.
First ... your PA referred me to a hospital for possible appendicitis. The hospital was like you do not have appendicitis because you would be in a lot of pain ... I knew I didnt have it. However I still went after the telehealth conference I had at your facility. I couldnt be seen at your facility bc of possible covid symptoms. I TESTED NEGATIVE AT THE HOSPITAL FOR COVID !. I had to pay an additional $150 Co pay for the same reason I called your urgent care. Calling your facility was a Complete waste of time and billing of my insurance. I also would like to mention I spent 7 hrs at Holy Name hospital for the joke of possible appendicitis on the phone from your facility. The medical director at your site also said they recommended I obtain a doctors note from the hospital and not from your facility . All I wanted was a note I was consulted ! You were paid by insurance and wasted my time ( provide a note saying your recommendation) ! My insurance paid that at least. . No I do not recommend this facility ever! I did not have covid and knew this bc I tested negative days before ... and appendicitis. I even questioned this diagnosis. However, I am not a doctor. Wish it was a doctor and not a PA that made me spend $150 to go to the ER and who knows what ever other fees that may come. I wish they didnt text me about the quality of care today. The only reason for a review .
Referred by friends and family .. I have to say they are very professional ..from the provider Monica to Victoria (MA). Victoria came out with a friendly smile to swab me and answered any questions I had. What a pleasant visit
We were expecting to be able to enjoy a nice holiday party with getting tested before, BUTT it was ruined when this lady at the front desk made us wait nearly 5 hours to NOT EVEN GET TESTED. Our break has been ruined. Please notice this review.
As a teacher, I have had to use Doctors Express for my PPD tests many times. Every time has resulted with a quick in and out visit. The staff did a great job at administering my shot. I would definitely recommend Doctors Express for all employer related services.
I got to the doctors office at about 12:20, five or take a few minutes. They were telling people 45 mins to an hour. I was not called in to be seen until 2:28. I was seen by the nurse for maybe 2 and a half minutes. Then i was not seen by the doctor for another HOUR. While i was waiting i could hear the doctor jibber jabbering about her life, about other patients, about a patient from days ago, about a wedding. It was absolutely ridiculous. One of the worst experiences ive had in my entire life.
Very caring and time efficient. First nurse however did not get a good throat culture and 3 days later when my son wasn’t better I took him back and he had strep. Doctors are very knowledgeable
Seen immediately (called ahead to confirm empty waiting room). Employees were pleasant and extremely professional. Tests were run promply. I would go here again if necessary and would highly recommend this urgent care.
I do hard labor and get banged up a lot at work with some minor and major injuries. Urgent care has always done a great job Evaluating the problem and helping me get back on my feet again. From the doctors, To the x-ray tech, to the nurse that takes your tempsture, to the receptionists, they’re all kind, curtiosy and make you feel comfortable...Highly recommended...
I think the front desk staff was upgraded, they were friendlier and helpful. The wait time was long but I guess it is because it is a walk in place and time of wait is not in their control. I also saw some people go before my son while we were waiting.
I have used AFC a number of times for my medical needs and the doctors and staff are always accommodating, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable! The wait time is never long and it’s always clean! Definitely a reputable place! 👍🏼👍🏼
If I could give 0 stars I would, completely incompetent! My son broke his finger last Saturday, the doctor was rushing, flustered and poor bedside manor (it was near closing time so it was obvious!). No information on how to care for the broken finger until we got an appointment with a pediatric orthopedic doctor for follow up. Were told we will have to splint it ourselves. The cd with xrays they gave was blank! When we called their office they said they could “mail us” another CD. As we are sitting in our appointment now we have to do xrays again. The doctor is asking if anyone tried to nudge it back in place (which they didn’t) where it should have been to avoid further issues. The longer time passes the worse it can get! Horrendous service! Would not recommend to anyone!
Fast, efficient and very professional. I would highly recommend this office over my primary care physician for unexpected visits. My doctor told me to come back next week and was instantly seen by a nurse and physician.
Great staff, clean facility and great care
I been trying to reach this place for days! i got tested positive for covid and cant access my documents with results they submitted on the patient portal. nobody answers the phone there literally is no way to reach them! im sick and i might have to get out of my house to personally go there and get the info needed in stead of quarentine at home like im suppose to. when i first got there to get my testing done whoever works there at the front desk was not professional at all i walked in and waited and she was just looking at me then pretending she doesnt see me. i wish i went to get checked else where but since i already paid for it i want to get my copies of my result that i cant access to!
Efficient, polite and professional service in a clean, well-equipped office. The doctor was sympathetic and thorough and answered all my questions helpfully. Seems like an excellent place to go to deal with uncomfortable but routine health problems
I am so grateful to staff for answering phones consistently and for working with me to get me in for a Covid test to see family for Christmas. The ability to check in with you until you could put me in when a slot opened last minute made all the difference. Thanks for being so caring and getting it done!
Excellent staff and excellent service. We came in for Covid testing that we needef for a trip out of the country and they were amazing and got everything done on time. Very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend
Wait time was outrageous, ended up walking out after 2.5 hours. The staff charged me anyways even though I never saw a doctor. I had to try and dispute the charges with my credit card company. Ill never go back and hope they really clean up their act.
Pleasant experience with AFC. I needed a sports physical for my daughter and I was unable to get appt with Pediatrician for 2 months. Dr Saros was very thorough. Great staff and service.
The wait time was okay because I have to drink a lot of water and the lady at the desk was very nice, Polite. Then when I went in the lady was not nasty she was nice too. I would Recommend this place it was clean and the people there are respectful there.
My go to whenever not feeling well…….highly recommend!
Friendly staff. The location is clean and inviting. They have a large screen to watch while you wait and a water dispenser too. My visit for my sore knee was fast and pleasant.
The whole experience was amazing. I came in and could hardly breathe. Tyra Gray, Dr Santa, and Dr. Anna were knowledgeable and incredibly kind. Thank you.
This place is great, I was in and out in less than 2 hours. The staff was super nice, and they treat you with such compassion, there is no words to describe how happy I am that I came here when i was sick and not to my PCP.
Everything was great here. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor. I felt like they were very detailed and caring. They listedn to everything I said and took action on it. They explained any cost that would and would not be covered. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Pros:1. Staff were friendly and prompt. Very less waiting time. I visited 3 times, follow up visits2. Doctor was able to understand what my problem was immediately.Cons:Expensive
Waited 2 hours in the parking lot for my appointment while walk ins were getting taken in before me then was sent around back to get a COVID test and waited another hour. I tried calling and they refused to answer the phone. I will never come back for anything in the future.
Nice staff, expert doctor. We arrived just 10mins before they close. But, They quickly identified my moms stomach ache, prescribed good medicine. Really appreciate.
Terrific staff! Smart and very caring. Great experience!
I had a 9 am appt on Saturday only person at this location, yet they take me in at 9:45, staff is on cellphone and seem like they do not care. Dr was nice, but staff need better training on patient care/service!
One of the receptionist was totally rude over the phone and in person when I was trying to make sure that the prescription the doctor gave me was right. People who work in the healthcare must be compassionate and professional. She lacks all of these.
On my first visit i was well reseved, my waiting time was not too long. I was at ease thanks to the staff, i was treated with kindness and respect. Over all my experience was very good.
Service was very slow was there for 2 hours when I could have been there for less than an hour. The lady was clearly not having a good day she seemed miserable and was even talking bad about another patient with her co worker. Over all I’m very mad they took so long for literally nothing.
Sick, was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was prompt, caring, and attentive. I was seen and out the door with my prescriptions in about a half hour. Thank you all for helping me feel better!!!
Would definitely recommend this office. Im sure working in Healthcare during a pandemic is not easy. They still had smiles on their faces and made me feel comfortable.
I guess it all depends how busy this place is, for me I was in and out in 20 minutes. Was only about 3 people there. The staff was nice and professional. They talked about regular human being stuff with each other and you can hear, so what. Place was nice.
Waited for an hour and half for the doctor to come in for 5 seconds and tell me they can’t do anything and I just need to use ice.
Very kind and accommodating. I was in and out in less than an hour for stitches in my finger. Highly recommend
I was seen quickly and the staff was courteous. From the receptionist, the nurse and the DR, they were all professional and showed genuine concern for my well being.
Everyone was professional and friendly. The doctor was great and made me feel very comfortable ☺️
Awesome place. Wait was a little long but well worth it. Dr. Borkowski was great, he called me personally on a holiday (July 4th) to give me my blood results.
Dr. Saros and her staff are wonderful. They are very professional. I was seen quickly. They encouraged me to contact them if I had any problems. Definitely will use them again!
Charging $200 per covid test when they are supposed to be free for Americans. I walked into a different urgent care (WITH MY SAME INSURANCE CARD) and got a covid test for free. this place is trying to make money off of anyone they can claiming insurance companies are no longer paying for covid tests. This practice should be investigated.
WARNING!!! I highly recommend NOT using AFC Urgent Care by 7-11 on Ridgewood Ave. They misdiagnosed my daughters strep throat (never even looked in her throat). Told me she had a Bacterial infection and prescribed Cipro. Documented that she has viral infection.... which as you may know is NOT treated with antibiotics. I later learned from my pediatrician that Cipro is NOT typically used in the pediatric population as it can cause tendon ruptures. When i questioned their practice they did refund my copay (i can give credit where its due 😊) & told me theyd look into this situation. Two and a half weeks later... no call back and when i called they said the medical director agreed with the Cipro but that they havent spoken with the physician about the diagnosis bc she hasnt been in. ....this is the same facility that misdiagnosed my broken foot (such a significant break i was pulled out of work for 1 week) 7 years ago.
Great experience! My daughter had to have a Covid test. Simple procedure, painless, and professional! Thank you AFC urgent care!!!
An hour wait to have a doctor that talks over you. Receptionist who fails to send all of the perceptions to the pharmacist and takes another hour to fax it in. I told the doctor that I cant take non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID) for pain due to prior complications and she recommends 800mgs of Advil... Which is nsaid. Avoid this place.
Michelle did my COVID test for an upcoming surgery and made sure to make note of the urgency and was very sweet as I was nervous about the test , she was caring and very delicate and informative and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you !!!
Too quick to put you on antibiotics. I went on News Years Day bc I thought my Doctors office was closed. The doctor recommended antibiotics, I questioned it but answer was unclear. I called my Dr who was open! I went as soon as I left and they did not feel I needed it. I was better the next day!!! No antibiotics after all!
EXTREMELY PLEASED with my visit! Dr Becker was very thorough and caring. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Great care in a very timely manner.
I highly recommend AFC urgent care in Paramus. The staff is friendly and efficient. I have used them for Covid testing and a pre-op physical and they were wonderful for both.
This urgent care facility is great. They take the time to diagnose and treat your symptoms! This is the best urgent care facility I have been to.
Constant communication from start to finish, was able to reach who was needed on the phone multiple times. Compassionate, quick and wonderful !
The staff was very polite and comforting. The doctor was wonderful and explained everything to me as he went. Would definitely recommend this facility.
I was shocked to find that a bunch of business people banded together to turn our most basic need to have our sicknesses cured into a fast food concept. Doctors with poor credentials who treat you in 10 minutes dropped in a family, upper middle class bedroom community like Paramus is sad. Business people want your money, they dont care about your health. Not only is Doctors Express a poorly run franchise that markets themselves relentlessly as a business opportunity, but the one in Paramus is owned by some fledgling business man who cant seem to make a living at his day job. I saw a television spot on the owner of this facility who clearly paid a public relations company for exposure. Why should business people profit from our health care. Isnt this a conflict of interest? The less you pay a doctor, the poorer the care, the more money the owner makes. Great place to go....
I will never go back again! Slow and unprofessional service. Checked-in stating I needed an x-ray. waited an hour only to tell me once I went in that- sorry we forgot tech is not here....really with a young child with a possible broken bone......stay away!! Doctor was right there and heard everything and did nothing...
I wish I had never gotten tested here. This website had misleading information making me believe that I would get a quick test and be done. However, to my surprise this place made me wait for an eternity that I never got tested and had the worse quality.
Dont go! Anywhere else is better
They have a great x-ray staff that provides clear films and reports which is crucial to the success of patient outcomes for our chiropractic practice.
I went to get my ears irrigated and Dr. Sarah was so kind and she was so genuine and really caring! I had a great experience and am thankful for their hospitality!
Excellent service, I have been seen here a few times and each time was a pleasant experience. Dr.Borkowski and Dr. Saros were both very helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this facility to others.
Excellent staff, courteous and professional. Doctors listen to my concerns and are proactive to addressing the problem. They provide an explanation for medical issues and advice. I will return for all my medical needs.
I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care. Great doctors, very professional & caring staff. Im feeling much better after my visit. Overall a great experience!
They never fail me. Quick, easy and always solve the problem. I even tend to come here before going to my primary physician just because of how well Im treated. Thanks AFC!
Never again... The doctor never sent the prescription to the pharmacy and had to call them from the pharmacy and get a verbal consent and still didnt get all of the medication I needed...
They didn’t call back for result
Love this place, I went in for a what i thought was the flu. The staff are so pleasant, so personable, and really take their time to answer any questions you have. I would definitely come here again.
Thanks for everything. The doctor he was really helpful, friendship and respectful. We need a smiling face and he has it.
I visited this urgent care for a test for work. The wait was not long at all. Everyone was kind and helpful. If I ever get sick, I know this is an option now.
Terrible wait time. Went in for a physical 2 hour wait ….never going there again stay away!
Extremely thorough. I felt like they covered all areas to see exactly how to treat me. Everyone was very pleasant, the facility was very clean.
Absolutely the worst organization I have ever had to use. Had to have a drug screening and absolutely no one in the office could figure out how to ship the samples or what sample/test to even take.
If I could give a 0 star review I would! This place had workers who had terrible attitude and they made us wait 2-3 hours to not even get tested!
I had to try a few places before I found this one which finally took my insurance! The people there were so nice and friendly. Definitely found my place to go
Never have to wait long and the staff is extraordinarily pleasant and the office is in immaculate condition. I would recommend them to anyone I know. Bonus: theyre open on Sundays....
Waited for over 2 hours to see the doctor, and she only spend less than a minute with us. The nurse was so unpleasant, shaking her head to every patient if they asked her question. Will never go back, ever.
