I am a 70 year old athlete racing Dirt bikes and Mountain bikes. I had injuries in both shoulders for over a year and could barley sleep with the issues. I had been to an Orthopedic surgeon and was told I needed surgery and 6 months to a year for recovery. I did not see that as an option as I was not willing to stop what I do for a year. I can not say enough great things, but Im gonna try! I started a TST therapy with another clinic and was having issues, both with the communication between me and the doctor and the regiment that i was on messing with my ability to function and attitude. I was recommended to come here by a friend but they were a little bit (a lot) out of my way and i have a extremely busy tight schedule. so getting places is tough for me. Im believer in you get what you pay for, weather its money or time or a combo. The first clinic was closer but more expensive and less thorough. Steel City was way more thorough and already has me feeling better, both physically and mentally. And we are on a good track to completely stabilizing me!When you first walk in to this place the feeling you get is WAY COOL! Your are greeted like a person and not a number or a person with a credit card, these people care! The office is neat clean and welcoming and so is the staff. Not once did i feel like a burden or that i was in a stuffy DR office that knows everything and my opinions on my health. I have a unique health issue that needs to be addressed with all other thing considered and they took the time to learn about it and provide me with even more knowledge and understanding of my own status. Am i a world class athlete.... Oh H*** NO! but i dont wanna be i just want to feel good and live as long as possible and as healthy as possible. Since I started treatment at Steel City Men’s Clinic at the age of 43, my life has gotten many times better. I noticed the following symptoms in my late 30s: I was becoming more drained, less tolerant to stress, less confident, my stomach and thighs were growing bigger, clothes didn’t fit well anymore, I had no motivation to do anything, it was becoming harder to urinate and my prostate was starting to feel like it was burning all the time. I continuously went to my primary care doctor and was told there was nothing wrong with me. I had them check my testosterone and they reported it being good at 201. Additionally, my blood sugar was starting to rise, both fasting and non-fasting. They wanted to put me on metformin for blood sugar. I also had a lot of aches and pains.I started on Clomid 50 mg a day around December 30, 2021 after walking out of Steel City Men’s Clinic with a 30 day supply. I noticed an improvement from the very first day. I quickly became able to urinate much better. My prostate pain disappeared. My confidence improved. My energy level increased. I’m lifting weights again. I also noticed that the pain in my left foot from pushing on the non-hydraulic clutch in my old Ford truck was totally gone, and it has stayed gone. My blood sugar immediately normalized, and it measures in the 90s sometimes when fasting. Never in my life did it ever read in the 90s until now. My aches and pains greatly disappeared. My lower back feels and is much, much stronger. My muscles feel full again, not empty and limp. I have gained weight, but my clothes fit better. My stomach and thighs have stopped adding fat. My primary care doctor was happy with my results and mentioned maybe looking into the treatment for himself, as he in in his late 40s.After over 1 year of treatment, I continue to improve. Ive added noticeable muscle mass. My testosterone levels have climbed into the 500-900 range.Dr. Donaldson, MD, and staff are bright and not constricted by the rules of western medicine. Dont be fooled by the name ladies, Steel City Mens clinic has amazing, life changing services for women as well. The doctors, nurses and staff are top notch. Conveniently located in Aspinwall, The office is organized and welcoming. Medically, this place takes it a few steps further than your primary care. Due to having thyroid issues, I have to get bloodwork checked regularly with my PCP. After my first visit to SCMC and having my blood drawn, I found out a world of information that my PCP never bothered to talk to me about. Damn near killed me with their protocol they prescribed me, landed me in the hospital. When questioned about the protocol, they didnt give a response and made no effort is aiding me during/after hospital visit, simply changed to a different medication. THEY ONLY OFFER INJECTIONS, when there are other options today. Question their prescriptions and protocols for your own safety or choose someone else entirely.
