If you want professional care, you HAVE to visit Dr. Grisham. I feel like hes literally apart of our family. I have been a patient for over 20 years now and always received expert advice along with simple explanations and thorough recommendations. I trusted him to assist me through fertility issues, subsequent procedures, provide prenatal care and deliver all 3 of my beautiful children. He is attentive and listens to his patients. His staff is extremely down to earth, courteous and friendly at each visit. I would highly recommend him.

I have been a patient for years, and Dr. Grisham is a wonderful doctor. Due to numerous issues and a couple of pregnancies, I made regular visits to his office for several years. Im so glad that I found him and his team. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and it is obvious that he cares for his patients needs and concerns.

I had a great experience with Dr. Grisham , the care that he provided was excellent. This was my first pregnancy and not knowing what to expect he guided my husband and I the whole way through. He was very personable and reassuring throughout my pregnancy and recovery experience. He was even so kind to let our family from out of town see our baby during an ultrasound. He is an extremely gifted surgeon , my c-section scar is almost non existent. I would highly recommend Dr. Grisham to any of my friends and family. I would have another baby under his care without hesitation.

Dr Grisham is the best. He delivered both my babies, and I always look forward to seeing him and Deb. He is never rushed and takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. He does his own ultrasounds and does his best to be there at every delivery. He always puts my fears to rest. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Grisham for about 3 years and it has been wonderful! I’ll start by saying I’m not the easiest patient.. I have anxiety when it comes to just about everything and they have always been so patient with me! When it comes to your children you want someone you can really trust, and that is Dr. Grisham. That awkwardness with women’s appointments is not there and he’s always made me and my husband feel so comfortable! Thank you so much Dr. Grisham for taking the best care of me and my little babies!

Dr Grisham is the best OB Specialist there is on this side of the US!!!! For 18 years I have had ERS , Obs, Doctors all misdiagnose what Dr. Grisham found. Dr. Grisham is very thourough and goes into detail about your health and reason for seeing his him.His bedside manner is amazing. I was lost , in pain , and didnt know who to turn to , I didnt know if anyone would ever find a solution to fix my pain and infertility. Dr Grisham did surgery on me on March 14 and everything was a success. My husband and I are praying we can expand our family by the end of this year. I am so grateful my friend recommended me to his office. Debra his scheduler and nurse is equally compassionate. If you want a Doctor who cares about you and is passionate about his profession this is the Dr to see!!! Dr. Grisham from now on will be the only OBGYN I will ever see!! ( I want to make sure as a patient of Dr. Grisham and from all the photos of all the happy parents with their babies that he delivered plus his kind nature there are some reviews on here that may deture you from seeing him, please may them no mind they not accurate reviews. If your experience goes any other way i would compensate the visit. He is a life saver!!!

Dr. Grisham is an amazing person and a very talented surgeon. His staff is very supportive too. The facility is amazing and you can pretty much do everything in the same building. Ive had 2 previous csetions with other doctor and I gotta say that the 3rd one, with Dr Grisham, was the absolutely best one. The recovery was very fast and the baby is healthy and sound great. I do recommend him as your OBG. You wont be disappointed.

I’m very thankful that Dr Grisham is my personal physician. My experience with his practice has been post-kids; seeing him for preventative visits. Dr Grisham has the intuition and experience that instilled trust from day 1. His staff is responsive and friendly, and after 15 plus years, I feel like part of the family :)

Update 10/23/2018Since this review I have had my 4th and 5th babies with Dr C K Grisham. My husband and I trust him completely with our precious bundles. He recently moved office to just the floor below the Labor & Delivery which is convenient.Between my last two babies I misscarried a baby boy so my 5th pregnancy was full of anxious moments for me. Dr Grisham and Debra were able to understand my feelings and reassure me durning my appointments.Our last little one is 9wks and arrived earlier than expected and needed to be in NICU post delivery and as I watched this all unfolding, it turned out that my placenta was stuck. Dr Grisham told me what was going on, what he needed to do and how he was going to do it. Needless to say even in that critical moment I had the upmost confidence in his abilities.I recommend Dr Grisham to friends, family and anyone asking for an OB/Gyn. His assistant Debra is always helpful, polite and respectful.Dr Grisham and Debra are family to me and I very much appreciate all that they have done and will continue to do for me and my family.Original review:DR C K Grisham has been my Ob/Gyn since January 2012. Northwest Plano OBGYN / Dr. Grisham is AMAZING!!! I’ve seen Dr. Grisham over the past 10 years. Dr. Grisham has delivered my first two children (9 years old and 9 months old) and will be delivering our third on the way. My first delivery was a unplanned C-section, followed by a planned C-section this past year. Dr. Grisham went over all our options and explained what would take place during delivery from beginning to end. I wouldn’t trust any other MD with taking care of our unborn baby and with the delivery of our children. Dr. Grisham takes his time, answers all questions and most importantly, is a people person with a great bedside manner; I often wonder if my husband likes to go to our appointments to get updates, or to talk/joke/laugh with Dr. Grisham about sports and movies - lol! Not only is Dr. Grisham amazing, but so is his office staff. Debra is always quick to get back with you and always in great spirits.Northwest Plano OBGYN makes you feel as if you are not just another number or patient coming through their office, rather a practice that genuinely cares about your health and well-being. Very Professional atmosphere and always feel welcome and comfortable when I go in for my visit. Dr. Grisham is very knowledgeable and stays current on medical issues that women phase as we age. Listen, girls...I know going to the lady doctor isnt one of our favorite things to do, but its a part of life. Ive been a patient of Dr. Grishams since 2010, and he makes those annual visits actually enjoyable! (I know, right?!) Dr. Grisham has cared for me during all three of my pregnancies, and there was never a doubt in my mind that he genuinely cared for my health and that of my babies. He has a wonderful sense of humor, so much so, that my husband would actually look forward to my sonograms so he could cut it up with the doctor, too! I would be remiss if I didnt give mad props to Dr. Grishams nurse/office manager/girl boss...DEBRA! Debra does a little bit of everything in the office from scheduling my appointments to assisting with procedures, and she is always so sweet to me! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Grisham’s for almost 7 yrs. He is absolutely the best doctor I’ve ever had take care of me.Dr. Grisham has taken care of me and my family through 2 pregnancies, a few surgeries, and other health issues not related to the reproductive system.Dr. Grisham really listens to his patients and there is no need to feel self conscious or embarrassed to tell him anything. He will never make you feel silly for asking.He’s also a doctor who will chat with you about your life and really get to know you, so you can feel totally comfortable asking him for a recommendation for the best Cuban sandwich in Key West or about a new hotel you want to try in Rome. He can definitely put you at ease during some invasive procedures, whether that’s a yearly pap, or ultrasound.The office wouldn’t be complete without Deb, who manages the office and is Dr. Grisham’s assistant. She’s so knowledgeable and friendly, and is always so helpful to get any health questions answered, schedule visits, and answer insurance questions.If you are looking for an incredibly intelligent, caring, OBGYN and staff, I can’t recommend Northwest Plano OBGYN highly enough.

Dr Grisham has been fantastic in his help of our family throughout the years. He was our OB/GYN for both of our babies, and my wife has built a strong and trusting doctor-patient relationship with him over the last several years. When she has had other non-OB/GYN related medical questions, she has routinely sought his advice and referrals, which have always been very timely and helpful when navigating the vast medical network in Plano.Dr. Grisham also kept me as the dad fully involved throughout the birth of our children. I was always informed and in no way a bystander, which I have heard can be an issue elsewhere. He truly cares about all his patients and their entire families as well.We are unfortunately moving away from Texas, but will miss Dr. Grisham and Deb (on staff). We highly recommend them if you are looking for trusted hands, whether you are having a child or just general medical support.

I had been with the same obgyn for 12 years before getting pregnant. Right before getting pregnant, my obgyn stopped seeing ob patients, and I was forced to go on the hunt for a new OB. I was nervous about this because I knew Id be a high risk pregnancy given my history of hormone-induced stroke. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Grisham, and immediately felt comfortable with him. I felt listened to each time I went, and he always treated my husband and I with respect (which is impressive in itself because I was quite the tough cookie during my pregnancy). My husband and I had a lot of worries about my pregnancy along the way, and frequently called Dr. Grishams office with our questions. He always got back with us quickly and spoke directly with us rather than having a nurse call us. As my due date approached, it was decided that it would be best for me to have a c-section due to my history of stroke. I was extremely nervous about the procedure. When Dr. Grisham came in, he made me feel at ease before starting. The c-section went flawlessly. My husband, who is a physician, was very impressed with Dr. Grishams work. I was impressed with how low he made the incision! Everything has healed up nicely. Ive told my husband Im sad that the experience is over because Im going to miss going to my appointments. As another reviewer mentioned, I truly feel like family when I go in for an appointment. Dr. Grisham is a great doctor, and an even better person.

I had my first pregnancy with Dr Grisham. I very much enjoyed him and thought all was going well. We had sonograms and I went to the MFM for the normal 12 week scan. I also had the Prenatal cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening and everything came back great with no problems. All was reported as normal and great.I had subsequent normal and regular visits with Dr Grisham and a sonogram by him at 17 weeks, where he reported that all was fine.Then, I had my normal 20 week scan with the MFM (literally 3 weeks after my reported “normal” scan with Grisham) and the MFM immediately said there was a HUGE hole in my baby’s spine. My baby girl had severe open spina bifida, hydrocephalus of the brain and other related issues. The problems were so obvious that I could easily see them on the screen with no medical training.So, how did Dr Grisham not see these issues at all the entire time? Literally 3 weeks before I could see them?In addition to failing to disclose the abnormalities on my scans, Dr Grisham pressured me to get a C-section, emphasizing that he specializes in repairing natural births and C-sections are always better.After all of the above, I switched to a different OB who was open and honest with me and who was appalled that a C-section was recommended for a normal birth. Subsequently (after losing the baby I went to Dr Grisham for), I have had 2 healthy babies naturally with no problems and with doctors that were honest with me. I also learned that OBs often advise patients to get a C-section because they want to do it on THEIR schedule.At the end he of the day, Dr Grisham failed to inform me of fetal abnormalities of my baby, tried to schedule my labor for a non-medically necessary C-section at his convenience and literally lies to my husband and I. Do not recommend.

Today I had my first visit at Dr. Grishams office. Deborah (not sure how she spells her name) was very kind and professional. Dr. Grisham made me feel comfortable, listened to how I was feeling, what Ive experienced, and made sure I left my appointment feeling confident and informed. I initially did not want to see a male doctor, but after todays visit I will definitely be a long term client. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought me in, I left with a smile.

Dr.Grisham delivered my son 4 years ago and I’m currently pregnant with no.2 and I wouldn’t have anyone else deliver my child! He is very efficient and amazing at what he does I trust him and he eases all worries anyone may have. Debra is great and they handle their business I would recommend this office time and time again.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Grisham and his staff. He has a awesome bedside manner and has solutions and answers for all of my questions. I never feel uncomfortable approaching him with my concerns, as he is very patience, understanding and views the patient as an individual rather than a common case.His office is comfortable and inviting. Trusting him with a very “sensitive” surgery was the BEST decision I’ve made for myself. The results are actually BETTER than I could have ever imagined!! Front desk staff is rude and Dr. Grisham does not have good bedside manner. I went for my annual pap and he acted like I shouldnt have been there since I was not planning to have more kids. Then, when I expressed concerns about some symptoms I was having, he just blew it off and acted like I was an idiot for asking instead of explaining why I shouldnt be worried. Then he belittled me about the 20 pounds I need to lose. I will not be returning.

I gave this office my information to set an appt 5 years ago and they didn’t have an opening so I thanked them and ended up going to a different ob/gyn who has been wonderful and is still my current doctor. I never made an actual appt with Grisham’s office as I was already almost in my second trimester and waiting two months was way too long, BUT they’ve put a derogatory account on my CREDIT!!!! For 225.00. I’d like to see anywhere my signature is. When I supposedly even missed a first appointment. Anything!!! I’ve called his office and the gal hung up on me. This is wrong on soooo many levels. You people just take information and if they don’t want to wait two months you screw them over by using that information as a weapon! I was never seen! I never made an appointment!!!

Dr. G has been my doctor now for a long time. In 2014 after what appeared to be a clean mammogram I went for my annual physical at with Dr. G. At his insistence I returned to have an ultrasound done on a questionable lump. If I had not listen to Dr. G my cancer might not have been found when it was. I had stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. This guy is the best doctor in town. He may not be an oncologist but he knows when something is not right. I’m super thankful for this doctor and his staff.

Dr. Grisham and his staff are wonderful! Dr. Grisham truly is a doctor who ensures the best quality of treatment every time you see him.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. His has NO bedside manners. I had to take my 2 year old son with me to the appointment because I did not have anyone to babysit. I can not believe he told me not to bring my son with me for upcoming appointment. He was not helpful. As it is mention on his website that he has infertility services . I tough he understands from infertility, but he does not. I wasted my time and my money.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR!I went there three times and each time paid my copay to later be billed $420 with no explanation!I even tried to work on a Payment plan and the doctor told me that he wouldn’t see me until he had his money! I haven’t even heard my babies heartbeat and I was pretty much refused service and told to come when I could pay in full!I later tried to get my medical records released to find that the doctor was holding them and wouldn’t speak to me so I could figure out what was going on.The nurse is rude because she can never answer any questions without the doctors consent the. Told me that the establishment was not a FREE CLINIC!!I work full time and have good insurance and I pay every time I come to the office to be ridiculed and embarrassed made me feel like I was being discriminated against I will not be returning and I definitely wouldn’t RECOMMEND THEM!!Keith,Like I stated before your UNPROFESSIONAL and not once did you or your nurse have the decency to come and call and or discuss what was going on with my insurance or how to resolve the issue nothing that I stated was a lie nor was it untrueEven when I called my insurance company they couldn’t explain why I was being billed so I asked your nurse who CLEARLY can’t explain anything nor can talk without your PERMISSIONAlso, I have called and sent my medical records to be released on May the 7th and 16th when I called the front desk stated that the doctor was holding them because they were investigating with the insurance company so again why did my new doctor have to send something I twice and still nothing so please stop lying and be truthful you guys are crooks and only wanted my money and not once tried to help but we have cut ties with you and there is no harm in that I stated I won’t be recommending you and I won’t I’m sure your still going to get clients!Any who I called to speak to you directly and no response so again YOURE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!Have a great day

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!! he has horrible bedside manner. When I was pregnant and called to ask questions I was concerned about he would yell at me. He induced me BEFORE my due date for NO MEDICAL REASON. It was for his own convience. When 5pm came around things suddenly started to go wrong because he just wanted to go home for the day. In the OR he told the nurses to shut me up because I was crying and they gave me a medication that caused me not to remember anything for hours. I do not remember my sons first hours of life. He will bully you. He talked down to my husband at the time during appointments. He did not discuss essential things during my prenatal care. Unless you like to be bullied into an UNNECESSARY c section (WHICH IS A MAJOR SURGERY!!!) then DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.

Unfortunately I did NOT read the reviews before visiting this doctors office and HAD TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was disrespected by the front desk staff MULTIPLE TIMES!, laughed at by the doctor, he belittled me and continued to make comments about my symptoms to the point I was almost in tears. charged 40$ copay when it’s always been 20, when my credit card was comprised and waiting for another one, they made me cancel my appointment for an infection instead of charging me next week. They DID NOT call me about my test results, after saying they were sending it the mail, and I had an incunclueive result yet the front office said everything was fine. Couldn’t answer any questions, as well as charged me a surprise $288 charge. wouldn’t do all my parts of my annual wellness exam at one time, required me to schedule EACH ONE separately literally for no other reason than to pay 40$ each time.Every single 1 star review for him is completely right. Do NOT use this doctor unless you like paying double for all your services!! The doctor is a good enough guy and I was happy with his care but the OFFICE, oh man. I have been receiving a bill from their office for 2 months saying I owe $288. Their numbers dont add up to MY payments and they arent listing ANY payments from insurance. After speaking with them today and then calling my insurance and printing my EOBs, I have discovered that Ive actually OVERPAID them $34.46. So they owe me money! Yet they sent me this bill, not just once either! And when I called to ask them about my insurance payments they said that they had contacted my insurance company but had received no answers. My insurance company shows no notes of communication from them! Dr Grisham needs a new office staff. Someone who can actually apply payments correctly!

Everything was horrible here...The doc did not even get back to me about the abnormal blood work results on time!! when i myself saw the report from quest after 2 months, I saw that the blood work had abnormal results clearly...and had to change the obgyn immediately!When I called the staff on an emergency when the doc was out, the response was not something that I liked. And to get the medical records out of their office to a different doctor and to get the receipts of the copay every time I visited them, I had to do more than 5-6 follow up calls and even after that I am at a loss to understand as to why they are taking this much time to release my medical records to another office is what perplexes me! They say they cant email or mail the receipts of the co-pays (if printer does not work) that I pay too!!! That way it was frustrating!

I had the worst expierience with this doctor he was very rude and even yelled at me i felt very umcomfortable and i even felt like he was rushing i went in for a yearly i was very nervous he made it very hard for me to relax he even made a comment that really offended me he asked me if i ever had intercourse before because i was really uncomfortable with the procedure never going back that was a nightmare and i def wouldnt recommend him
