Liz is the absolute best! After having several miscarriages and early losses I was recommended by a friend to visit Blossom Clinic to see if Liz might be able to help me sustain a pregnancy. Within 2 months I had conceived again (with her acupuncture support) and went on to have a healthy full term pregnancy! Our 5 year old is thriving and I cant imagine our lives without him or the help of Liz. She also supported us during our next full term pregnancy. And our chunky 1 year old is proof that Blossom Clinic is the best place to go for fertility acupuncture. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts, Liz, for helping us make a family!

I had never tried acupuncture, but Liz was recommended to me through a friend who struggled with infertility and I’ve been seeing her since a few weeks before I had my first embryo transfer through IVF. My transfer was successful, and I’ve continued to see Liz weekly through the early stages of my pregnancy. It’s been such a breath of fresh air to have someone who is so knowledgeable about fertility and IVF, but also knows exactly what to recommend to help me relax. I strongly believe that her acupuncture treatment helped me prepare my body in the best way to have a successful embryo transfer, and I will continue seeing her through my pregnancy and beyond. In my 2 year process that was very difficult physically and mentally I remember so clearly the relief and I felt walking into blossom clinic and talking to Liz. I was full of fears, trauma and anxiety navigating this world by myself and Liz was the first person I felt she really cared about me and my mental health. Liz, Morgan, and the entire staff at Blossom Clinic are wonderful. You feel cared for from the minute you are greeted at the reception desk. They are professional without being stuffy. I always felt comfortable there. Liz encouraged me to try Barre3 workout classes. These workouts have changed my health completely. I’m now a distance runner and in better shape than I’ve ever been. Blossom Clinic is fantastic! Ive worked with Janene for the past year on stubborn fertility issues and recently conceived. Shes gone above and beyond, putting together an acupuncture and herbal treatment plan that is very specific to my needs. The relaxing sessions are always the best part of my week. I also appreciate that she and my doctor communicate about my treatment for consistency of care. My interactions with Liz and the admin staff have been wonderful as well. I’m so happy that I found Liz at Blossom Clinic. I found Liz by doing a google search for fertility acupuncture in the Portland area, but I was scared at first to go because I was super afraid of needles (& had even passed out in the past with shots and blood draws). But I had read enough about the benefits of acupuncture so I put on my big girl pants to try it. Even from the first time I went in, every time I leave Blossom I feel super relaxed and ready to get through anything that life throws at me- which is crazy that someone like me who faints with blood draws can feel SO relaxed after acupuncture. The office is calm and relaxing: heated bed and cozy blankets, calming music and dim room lights. Liz listens and gives caring yet truthful advice and recommendations and has a very gentle acupuncture style. I highly recommend Liz as a practitioner (I have not tried out any of the other practitioners).

I dont know how to put into words how important Liz and the staff at Blossom (special shout-out to Ellen!) were in helping me become a mother, after several years of infertility. From my first positive pregnancy test after just a month or so of acupuncture (after two years of trying on my own), to the gentle care and support I received for my two miscarriages, to the prenatal acupuncture sessions that helped me prepare to bring my son into the world... I dont know where Id be today if I hadnt made the call to schedule my first session at Blossom.

I booked an appointment with Renee to supplement a treatment I was getting and had THE BEST experience. She was very thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She explained her recommendations clearly and sent a follow-up PDF with all of her recommendations and reminders based on her assessment / treatment. The room was very comfortable and she even added an extra heater for me! to be super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend Renee!

Facing infertility can be incredibly overwhelming and emotional. I immediately felt like Liz and everyone at Blossom Clinic understood exactly how I was feeling and I instantly felt so supported. Liz helped me with my fertility acupuncture, as I was in the IVF process. I had struggled with infertility for almost 4 years and finally had a successful embryo transfer with Lizs acupuncture help. Incredible service! I was recommended to have acupuncture to induce labor after my water broke but contractions hadn’t started hours later. After calling multiple clinics to no avail, Liz at Blossom went out of her way to accommodate me the same day. I’m very thankful for their understanding and willingness to help me - my labor progressed well & baby was born the next morning. I only wish I had established regular acupuncture care during my pregnancy!

Blossom Clinic is a wonderful place. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, yet professional. I always enjoy walking in the doors, I know its going to be a relaxing hour! Ive working with Liz since last year, getting acupuncture pre- and post- IVF. Im now in my first trimester and having some morning sickness, for which Liz is also providing support. I always feel listened to and heard, no matter what issues Im bringing with me. And Liz always has 3 or 4 other suggestions outside of acupuncture to offer me in order to help balance me. Sometimes its a dietary addition/subtraction, or a tea concoction of some kind. I always feel like I leave well-equipped with solutions! Wonderful clinic and practitioners! Ive been going to Liz for acupuncture for the last few months to prepare for an upcoming IVF cycle. This was my first experience with acupuncture and Liz made the experience very easy and relaxing. Liz is extremely knowledgeable on fertility issues and recommended supplements and simple dietary changes to improve my fertility issues. She is warm, compassionate and always encouraging. The clinic is like a calming little sanctuary. The rooms are relaxing with heated tables, lavender eye pillows and soothing music. I walk out of every treatment feeling calm and relaxed which is so helpful while undergoing stressful fertility treatments!

I love this clinic. Morgan is a compassionate healer who always puts me at ease. She is a positive force and has been a bright spot throughout this long road of infertility. I have been to other clinics that had a borderline critical view of the western medicine treatments I was seeking alongside acupuncture. This does not occur at Blossom. Morgan is fiercely empathetic - I feel well supported and validated with all the decisions I make. As others have mentioned, her acupuncture technique is gentle, yet effective. Im so happy to have her on my team!

This is a beautiful facility filled with people who care about your well-being. While, I havent seen Morgan Hogue, L.Ac at this location for acupuncture treatment I worked with her at her old clinic and she is a very warm and caring professional. Acupuncture was the only treatment that fully cleared the headaches for me. I am new to Blossom Clinic but have I recently started working with Elise Schroeder, ND. Im impressed with her knowledge and the treatment plan weve mapped out. Brie is also a gem.

I cannot recommend Renee at Blossom Clinic enough. I went in for acupuncture to flip my breech baby and had a very positive experience . She took the time to fully listen to me and learn about how my pregnancy has been as well as explain to me what she was going to do and what I could do after the appointment to help my baby flip. I went in for an ECV a few days later and before the appointment learned that my baby had flipped on its own. Needless to say that I was very happy to not have to do the ECV and believe that the acupuncture I received was a big contributing factor to getting my baby to flip.

Blossom Clinic is awesome! Morgan is a very caring person and always made me feel comfortable. I initially sought treatment for infertility due to a blocked fallopian tube, after a few months of treatment, I received an HSG test that revealed my tube was no longer blocked, in fact it was wide open. Due to my age I still decided to pursue IVF and Morgan treated me on my transfer day and throughout my pregnancy. I now have a healthy, beautiful baby. I cant say enough positive things about Morgan or this clinic, I recommend them to everyone I know.

I have gone to several acupuncture clinics for fertility over the years and none of my experiences have been as helpful as going to Blossom Clinic. Ive mostly worked with Liz, but have also seen Jen and Morgan recently. Every session has been so relaxing that it is highlight of my week. Everyone there is attentive and thorough. I never feel rushed and always feel like my concerns are addressed. Going into my IVF process I felt very anxious and overwhelmed, but since going to Blossom I feel like I can calmly handle it all. I also really appreciate that I havent been told to turn my lifestyle inside out with dramatic dietary changes, etc. They are great about having a balanced approach so that you can make the changes you need to make while still remaining sane. I am so glad that I decided to come to Blossom - you will too!

Liz is truly a miracle worker! She is an expert in her field and Im grateful that I was able to receive acupuncture from her while pregnant. Im very healthy, with uncomplicated pregnancies and have much experience receiving acupuncture and bodywork. I sought out Liz when at 31 weeks I was told I had marginal placenta previa and would have to have a c-section. Not only did she support me with her wisdom and expertise, but she provided a plan of care that with weekly sessions and herbs, my placenta had moved more than enough by 38 weeks to be cleared for labor (I had an incredible, fast, unmedicated birth of my 9.6lb second baby). I was determined to have a natural birth and Liz supported my goal. I am positive that Lizs treatments made a huge difference. Thank you Liz! Id recommend her to anyone!

Ive had middling experiences with acupuncture -- not bad, not good, just OK, so I didnt think I was the best candidate for continued treatment, but when my reproductive endocrinologist added acupuncture to my IVF protocol, I gave it another shot, this time with Liz Richards, who came highly, highly recommended by more than one friend. And Im so glad I did! Liz is so wonderful, her practice feels clinical enough for skeptics like me but relaxing enough for treatment to be effective, her expertise in treating fertility and pregnancy issues makes it clear why shes recommended by top REs in Portland, and her needles are magic. Shes a valued member of our pregnancy team, and Im so thrilled she exists.

All of my visits to Blossom have been absolutely warm, professional, profoundly helpful and insightful. I cannot recommend Lori enough as a massage therapist. She has instrumentally helped my body learn itself back into balance. I am deeply grateful for all she brings to her practice. I cannot rave enough about Blossom! I have had the wonderful opportunity to utilize all of the services offered: acupuncture, massage, naturopathic care, herbal support, and the intuitive gifts each one of these amazing women have to offer. After finding out I was pregnant, I sought support from Blossom and am so very grateful for doing so. Lori is beyond exceptional with her healing hands. My prenatal massages with her were exactly what my pregnant body needed. She also has an intuitive sense of knowing where to focus her energy, creating an overwhelming sense of relaxation throughout my entire body. I must say, my baby seemed to love acupuncture and massage as much as I did, we would both feel blissed out during and after our visits :) Elise is incredibly knowledgable when it comes to a womans body and hormones. She helped me in the beginning stages of my pregnancy to be sure my hormones were where they were supposed to be, and helped me feel more comfortable with all the changes going on within me. Blossom not only has gifted practitioners, but there is a sense of warmth, compassion and a strong womens intuition I just havent found anywhere else. Like I said, I cannot rave enough about Blossom :)

I started working with Liz (and occasionally Morgan) after almost a year of trying to conceive in September. By New Years, I was pregnant and Liz continued to support me through my entire pregnancy up until my son was born. Liz is a miracle worker! Before and throughout my pregnancy she has treated all of my physical issues--fatigue, immune system, nausea, sleeping problems, etc.--as well as serving as a great source of positive energy and emotional support. I cant imagine doing this without her!! Now in my third trimester, I am also benefitting from Dalias amazing massage skills. She relieved my lower back pain and helped reduce my general stress level. As cliche as it may sound, Dr. Elise and Blossom Clinic have changed my life. Ive had a variety of hard to treat health issues and I had long given up hope that I could have vibrant health. PCOS and a constellation of related issues led to fertility problems and general poor health. After a year of treatment with Dr. Elise, I have energy again, my cycle is almost regulated (after two decades of unpredictability!) and Im 80 pounds lighter. Dr. Elise took the time to really listen and create an individualized treatment plan. It shows that she truly cares about her patients wellbeing and she has always taken the time to explain the science behind her nutritional guidance and treatments. She knows her stuff when it comes to hormonal and gut issues and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I also saw Liz for acupuncture today for the first time. She has such a welcoming and calming style! The clinic offers a range of nutritional and herbal supplements, but Ive never felt pressured to purchase them in-house though Ive always been pleased with the quality and price. Really, cant say enough about Blossom!

Blossom Clinic is such a gem and I am so happy to be a patient of this wonderful clinic. I have been seeing Morgan Hogue at Blossom Clinic through my entire pregnancy and I cannot say enough nice things about her! She helped me achieve pregnancy when other doctors could not help me, and since I have become pregnant (I am now in my seventh month), she has helped me stay relaxed, healthy and battle some of those pesky pregnancy symptoms that often occur. Soo helpful. I have had nothing but a great experience. I was scheduled to originally help with getting pregnant, but by the time I went to my first appointment I was pregnant. So they shifted gears for my 1st trimester needs, looking forward to 3rd trimester my baby was breech and they helped flip her. I could always feel her move, but due to my anatomy and a small baby I ended up needing a C-section but the entire time this team walked me through all obstacles and made the experience so much better. They truly did help. I found out about the clinic through my sister and she has had positive experience as well. All I can say is thank you and if your reading this and on the fence, it’s worth it, do it.

I came to blossom for prenatal massages several times to cope with uncomfortable symptoms at the end of my pregnancy. I saw both massage therapists and they were both incredible! Very knowledgeable about pregnancy and labor, and the best massages Ive gotten anywhere. Highly recommend!

I have had fertility issues and difficulty keeping pregnancies. I started receiving acupuncture from Liz over a month ago in preparation for my current IVF cycle. She is AMAZING! I have always wanted to try acupuncture and its even better than I expected. I feel so calm and relaxed afterwards. The fertility drugs are not easy on the body and she is able to ease these issues that arise. Im excited to see where this journey takes me.

I love this clinic and Morgan! The staff is professional and kind. Ive seen Morgan for 3 pregnancies now, the first was at a previous clinic. My wife and I worked with Liz at Blossom clinic back in 2012-13. We both used accupuncture to try to help us conceive. Liz was great to work with and always took time to listen to all of our questions and concerns.We continued to use her once we started IUI with Oregon Reproductive and we used her during our transfer during our IVF. Liz helped both of us, especially my wife feel very calm during the procedure.She was very calming and told my wife this is happeningOnce we had completed the transfer she recommended I go out and buy a pineapple and that my wife eat 1/5 per day. Not sure if it was the pineapple or the accupuncture but something worked.We now have 2 beautiful 5 year old twin girls and feel Liz was a big reason for our success. Every visit she told me I was doing a great job supporting my body and that I was doing everything right. I hadnt realized how much I needed to hear that. Within months of seeing her I got pregnant but unfortunately it didnt last and the timing happened just as Morgan was moving out of state. I was so upset, she had been the 3rd acupuncturist Id seen and she really knew her stuff. But they found Larisa and from the first visit with her I was blown away by her depth of knowledge and her compassion. Within two cycles of seeing her I was pregnant again and this time its going great. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I wish Id started my fertility journey coming here but Im happy I eventually found them.

Ive been a client of Blossom for 2-1/2 years now. Although Ive seen Dr. Schroeder (no longer working there) and Liz, this review is for the acupuncture services provided by Morgan Houge.Morgan provided acupuncture while trying to conceive, while going through IVF, pre and post transfer day-of services (at my REs office), and throughout my pregnancy. Its hard for me to objectively review her services, because I think of her as more of a friend than a provider. She is probably one of the top 10 nicest people Ive ever met in my life. Shes always happy, supportive, and exudes such a loving energy toward her clients.As far as her technique, Ive been to other acupuncturists, and I can say that she is gentle, yet effective. Ive never bruised or bled after receiving a treatment. In fact, I have a phobia of needles! (I close my eyes, so Ive actually never seen an acupuncture needle.)Blossom Clinic has such an inviting atomosphere and I always enjoy going there. I also appreciate that they have weekend appointments available. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point: I love Morgan (and Blossom) and I attribute much of my success in conceiving to her warm heart and unwaivering support.

My daughter and I come for acupuncture with Morgan and we feel like the service and care is outstanding. Morgan takes time to check in, explains the process and benefits of treatment and just makes us comfortable every time we come. We love Blossom Clinic and you will too if you come.

I came to Liz as a gestational carrier (surrogate) I had had two canceled IVF cycles due to thin lining. I went off all meds and birth control for a few months to see if my lining could thicken on its own and during this time decided to acupuncture to help my lining and cycle. After a couple months, my lining thickened to an 11 (needed to be a 7) and we got the green light to try another IVF cycle. I enjoy my appointments each week and I appreciate that Liz also recommends herbs to take. I have nothing but positive things to say about Blossom!

Lori is a miracle worker. She has been giving me an abdominal massage for several months now. Through my infertility journey, Loris work has significantly helped my uterine lining and stress level. She is a lovely healer with so much knowledge.

I recently finished a detoxification cleanse with Dr. Elise. It was a great experience, with results that far exceeded my expectations! Dr. Elise gave me the information and support that I needed, and I appreciated the emphasis on nurturing oneself. The cleanse helped me reboot and some of the results I experienced were: better sleep, clearer skin, more energy, decreased inflammation, and a clean break from my not-so-healthy cravings. Highly recommend!

Larisa is an incredibly attentive and knowledgeable acupuncturist. I always walk out of my sessions feeling so much better than I came in and with more tools to live a healthier lifestyle.

I came to Blossom with a fear of needles. A few sessions in, I found a needle she left in as I was getting in the car. When I complained, she made it sound like I was making it up and that it was impossible for her to miss a needle. Needless to say, this worsened my needle phobia and made me feel crummy and unheard during an already difficult time. I cannot recommend Blossom/Liz for this reason.

Always felt so rushed there for fertility acupuncture. My sessions were so short and started late as the provider was not punctual. Kept trying every week for a month to see if maybe the first was just an off day, but it was the trend. Very frustrating. I also felt like things I would say about my fertility, FSH level, AMH level, health history were being judged when shared.

Really nice calm comfortable space. Liz is very friendly and genuinely listens.
