I think CAP does alot for HIV community. However my recent interaction with them has been less than ideal. I have been trying since Feb 16 to get in contact with someone for move in assistance. I finally talked to someone on 02/27. Im still waiting for a answer with a move in date of 03/03. This has caused more harm and hardship for me now. No answers emails, phone calls nothing. Very disappointed in this experience

Id heard nothing but good things about CAP.I accompanied a friend to an appointment there.Anya, whom i initially spoke with on the phone, is beyond amazing. She listened to our needs, (which were many, immediate, & urgent) and made time for us to meet with her the next day.Anya is everything you could want, when you call a place like this, needing help. Shes impeccably professional, warm, genuine, respectful, proficient, & poised. My experience so far with CAP has been limited, but i know that CAP is blessed to have an individual such as Anya representing them, and i know that Portland is blessed to have CAP!

I think that the organization itself helps allot of people living with HIV now! Its differently from when I was first diagnosed it seemed like Esthers HIV day center all pulled together as one for the better of the cause. So thats just how I feel on my heart. If I rated it at another time in my life for sure they have deserved 5 plus but today I feel differently thank-you for allowing my feedback

Great charity. Do amazing things for recipients that are in real crisis. Only issue, the clients are wildly disrespectful to the staff that are only trying to help them. Full disclosure: I volunteer here weekly.

I contacted C.A.P. before leaving the Southeastern US and coming to Portland basically as a social/political/medical refugee. This organization has been pivitol in my transition from a homeless, recently HIV/HCV diagnosed, addict with no real reason to hope for a better tomorrow to an clean, established community member with regular medical care, no viral load, and all the reasons in the world to hope for a long life full of equal chances and equal opportunity.
