Thrive has helped me out in more way than one. They were a listening ear for me when I went through my pregnancy alone. I got great tips and tricks during my parent university class. I have developed great relationships with staff as well as other mothers. They help with supplies such as diapers and wipes when needed. I enjoy this program all around and I am glad that I found them and that they are always around to help#SLAY

Most of the positive reviews are fake and created by people volunteering for this organization. I mean seriously who would describe a medical office as “elegantly designed” as one of the most recent reviews did? Absurd. They review bomb with their own employees reviews and their multiple accounts in order to shove the bad reviews to the bottom of the page and boost their rating. Most the positive reviews are accounts that have given one single review, that review being to Thrive. A few of the accounts have ONLY left reviews for pregnancy crisis centers (what thrive is).This place’s goal is to dissuade you from getting an abortion. They offer a “pre abortion screening” but if you scroll to the bottom of their websites page on abortions, it says in small print they do not offer abortions or abortion referrals. The screening is just to convince you not to get an abortion. They are masquerading as a medical provider, but they are ran by volunteers who are apart of their church. They offer free baby clothes, but ONLY if you attend their church. No legitimate medical provider would ever require you to attend church in order to provide you social assistance services. Intentionally deceptive and manipulative. You would think the last thing a church would want their members doing is lying and being deceitful, but I guess they have a “the end justifies the means” mindset.Shameful organization attempting to mislead women in a time of possible crisis when they deserve unbiased, truthful, and medically accurate information.

I came here 9 years ago when facing an unplanned pregnancy. I found their support to be immeasurable and genuine. They are certainly faith based, but that appealed to me. I found my footing as a mother thanks to the caring staff at Thrive.

I learned about Thrive when a representative came to my middle school. That was 12 years ago. This most recent visit was my fourth time coming to Thrive. All of their services are free and the ladies there are so kind, accommodating, and understanding. They focus on the WHOLE being of the woman and make finding resources a seamless process. All three of my pregnancies have stated there care here. I was able to apply for Medicaid and other financial aid services here. Very accessible and Im glad that they are still here after years and EXPANDING!

I went to Thrive to support a young lady that was receiving help from them. My experience the time I was their was amazing. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff was so nice. I sat in one of their weekly classes and listen to how they was encouraging the mothers/mothers to be, they was uplifting their spirits and positive. Thrive is a great place for young mothers to get help to be the best mother they can be. I will recommend any young person thats in a situation and need help to reach out to Theive. It can change your life.

Wonderful judgment free zone. I felt very safe and secure here and I got seen very fast. Would recommend to anyone recently finding out they’re pregnant. Also, this clinic is mostly free so that’s amazing.

The staff was very kind hearted and genuinely cared. I found out I was pregnant and they were very supportive. Had my first ultrasound and heard heart beat a few weeks later and they were even more caring. The clinic is also clean and comfortable and i would suggest going here if any women is in need of some support when finding out about pregnancy.

Thrive is amazing! After my initial interview, I was provided with an handful of resources that was extremely helpful to me as a full-time single mom. Their staff was amazingly friendly and expressed a high level of interest in my emotional and mental health. I would refer every first-time parent or anyone who is in need of their services to take part of services with Thrive!

Mimi and Mary were the most professional kind caring and informational nurses I have ever encountered! They answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable, and helped calm down my nerves!

Tom Michler has been a great therapist for my teenage daughter. His low key, sincere approach provides for a non-threatening, comfortable setting for me and my daughter. He truly listens to her and is able to adapt and accommodate her needs consistently. I HIGHLY recommend Toms counseling services!!!

Julie was so racist and prejudiced in my situation I’ve signed up for their program for me to have a place to stay they kept having me fill out the paper work for it and kept telling me every three months that they list are full I purposefully feel like they did that because I am black because ain’t no way u guys kept having me fill out things and not helping me with the services I need seriously I do not recommend this place to any black person

I found Thrive online after taking an at home pregnancy test. Scheduling online was simple, finding the location was easy and the entire experience was very welcoming. The staff was knowledgeable, warm and gave me resources that we super helpful. I walked into Thrive today for STD testing and a pregnancy test. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. She gave me a business card and explained how the services work. They are FREE. If you do not have health insurance and need to be seen in regards to your reproductive health, this is a good place to come. They also have resources.

From the beginning of my visit to the end, the staff were supportive, encouraging, and helpful. I can’t believe all the amazing services that I was offered for free! This is a great resource for any woman in the St. Louis area.

Don’t come here with your significant other they will treat him as if they dont want him in there. I went for an ultrasound with my boyfriend, and they said that he had to wait outside until its time to do the ultrasound, literally didnt even want him in the lobby. After the pregnancy test and other paperwork was done they took me back to do the ultrasound and i asked did they call him so he could come in, they said that they have to do their own ultrasound for the Doctor to view before they could let him in.. (Well they did not say that at first) Did the ultrasound, told me my baby is measuring 2 wks behind. So they asked me to empty my bladder so they could do the vaginal ultrasound. They STILL never called him back to the room and told us that they couldn’t find the baby heartbeat and to come back in 4 days to do a repeat ultrasound. So basically, it seems to me that they want you to come there as a single, pregnant, struggling, female with no help from the father. If the father is in the picture its almost like they look at that negatively.

In early spring of 2016 I tried to review the sex ed curriculum that this organization uses in public schools. Unfortunately they were breaking Missouri Law by not having a copy available for parents to review. Finally they sent in a curriculum at the end of March 2016. When I reviewed it I was horrified. I know they do this to market their services to young women but the entire curriculum was focused on girls as the only one responsible for any sexual encounter. On the Teen Pregnancy section they didnt mention boys ONCE. When I complained to the district about the portions that were terrible I was told that I had seen an old copy and it was completely different now. Thrive had only provided the curriculum a month prior and it was already out of date? How is a parent supposed to know what is being taught? There is no process in place for Parents or School Districts to be notified and approve changes to what is presented. I have a responsibility and a right to have a say in how this information is presented to my child. I have personally been called a pro-abortion activist, radical & un-American for daring to question what Thrive is teaching. Thrive acts like they are entitled to teach our children and they want to cut parents out of the discussion which is unacceptable.

This organization is the best out there!! From day one of my pregnancy they were there for me and helped me with so much I went through parent university and graduated with a beautiful healthy baby girl and made amazing relationships with the staff and teachers thank you so much thrive for everything you have done for me and every women that walks through the door!!!

Ive been going there for 5 years now and I love the fact that they take in consideration that your person not a number and they sit down and talk with you and you feel comfortable and the fact that they do their testing for free and help you get your mammogram done as well thats great

They were absolutely no help. They gave me an ultrasound but couldnt tell.me if my baby was actually healthy, just that it had a heartbeat and that I was about 14 weeks. Couldnt give me a glucose test or any prenatal care. They told me if I signed up for their religious meetings I could get a car seat and some onesies. They could NOT offer any assistance with prenatal care and health or even birth. They are not a medical facility. Dont waste your time! Go to the womens clinic at Mercy hospital.

If you need to consider other options, you may be better suited to stop into Planned Parenthood to get neutral information on options. Planned Parenthood is no pressure.

They are great and caring people that you can trust. They have a lot of great Resources for different options they are so friendly and generous it’s a great place to go when you need someone to talk to other than family and they are not judge mental

I am constantly harassed by this organization when I go to Planned Parenthood for birth control. This organization does NOT provide the service I go to Planned Parenthood for and yet they feel it is necessary to put my life at risk by obstructing the view of Forest Park Parkway when I leave Planned Parenthood. This business is a scam. They are not required by law to keep ANY information private (your name; what treatment you received; your age; your payment information).But considering that they pull down negative reviews of their organization only a few people will actually see this. If there was an option of 0 stars that would be my choice. I’d just relocated back home when I found that I was pregnant which was totally unexpected, I reached out to thrive received an ultrasound to find out how far along I was. I spoke with their rep we discussed weather I wanted to keep my baby. I honestly can say I leaned more towards terminating because I already had children and no place to stay and just landed a job who’s training was 12 wks long. I expressed I wasn’t in the position to bring another life into the world. I was told that they had assistance program that would help financially and also to attend to receive things that the baby would need. So I enrolled into both. Ultimately my conversation with thrive was the reason I felt safe to keep my baby. Shortly after training I started attending classes Whn I informed thrive that I was now on maternity leave and that it was unpaid I was told that they couldn’t except me into the financial assistance program because I was over 21 weeks. But at the time of ultrasound I was already 20 weeks along. Long story short they lied and did not have my back. Told me there’s nothing they could help me with. So now I’m left with the stress of how I’m gonna take care of my 3 children,rent and bills. Ladies follow you first mind cause these people are phony.

First 5 minutes in I felt very comfortable! The ladies helped me immediately and I never felt judge, which is my biggest worry being a new mom to be !

Great free service options for most womenly needs just no obgyn type visits availed they have a doctor that comes in twice a week I believe

Anti-abortion scare group masquerading as an unbiased clinic. How many *legit* medical clinics offer Bible study, as mentioned in reviews? How many of them offer incentives to attend religious services, as also mentioned in these reviews? How many of these glowing five-star reviews are from accounts that never posted any other review?Dishonest and spreading lies about abortion. Tiny, itty-bitty print on the “Abortion” section on their website admits that they don’t do abortions or abortion referrals. What it DOES have is an “Abortion Health and Safety Checklist” warning you of emotional damage from having an abortion (“Post-Abortion Syndrome” has been repeatedly refuted and is only invented by religious organizations, NOT legitimate health authorities), telling you to look up lawsuits against your abortion doctor or clinic (lol), and suggesting that there’s a high risk of physical complications. It dismisses abortion as “seeming” to be an answer, but suggests that the supposed grave aftermath will not be worth it. Cute that that same website insists that they just want women to be “informed” and able to make an educated decision. The last thing you’d find in this place is “information” on abortion.They also tell women to wait a month past their last missed period to get a pregnancy test. This is a common tactic among religious “crisis pregnancy centers” in order to put off the woman from being within the ever-tightening window of being able to legally procure an abortion, and hopefully allow the fetus to progress long enough to make an emotional plea at the ultrasound. In reality, one can get a pregnancy test a week or so after their missed period. But this place isn’t interested in reality. Another tactic is hinting that there’s a very strong chance the pregnancy will be lost to miscarriage, again hoping to put women off abortion, claiming that up to fifty percent of all pregnancies end in miscarriage (weird, elsewhere on their website it says 1-25% - while conveniently failing to state that the vast majority of these occur before a woman even knows she’s pregnant. Encouraging a woman who is several weeks pregnant to not get an abortion because “There’s a good chance it will end in miscarriage” is deeply deceitful. The same page describes abortion as “high-risk” and “painful”. Neither are true. The fact that they call all this the “Comprehensive Abortion Education” they offer is, quite frankly, despicable.Their claims of “being for women” and suggesting that you need an “unbiased” source, which they say is themselves, to get information on abortion is beyond hypocritical. The only “information on abortion” that they offer is not to get one. They also suggest that if you want an abortion, you’re probably being pressured into it, so come talk to them and they’ll allow you to make your own decision. How is “Don’t have an abortion, it’s dangerous and terrible” NOT pressure? Also telling the lie that you shouldn’t seek help from an abortion clinic because they’re all in it for the money, and to NOT listen to your friends or family because they won’t give you “unbiased advice”. Obviously, you should only talk to Thrive. Telling women not to take their abortion pills due to the regret they’ll feel (statistically, women are far more likely to experience relief after an abortion, but facts don’t matter to these people) and call the Abortion Pill Rescue Hotline (another anti-abortion scare group). Their link to the “emotional and psychological costs” of using the abortion pill links to the American Pregnancy Association, yet ANOTHER anti-abortion scare group that tells you to “choose grace” rather than get an abortion. You’d think there would be an actual medical organization to confirm all this psychological damage, but there isn’t, because it isn’t real. Their CONSTANT harping on how pregnancy ends in miscarriage so, so often and therefore you probably don’t need an abortion, is all a part of the way they trick women. All on their website, their blog, ready to see. Disgusting.

This organization was a godsend in my time of need my grand-daughter lost almost all of her newborn son belongings in a house fire was put in touch with Thrive and they supplied her with a case of diapers a new car seat clothes and blankets God Bless you guys

A friend of mines told me about thrive how they help you with parenting classes, getting a job,housing authority the staff is very friendly and you can talk to them about anything its very confidental and I thought that would be something good that I should get into I enrolled into the parenting classes and they Bible study as well you can get baby books for every time you attend classes once you get them you can shop for your baby also they have manerity clothes that they offer you as well so its a really good program I absolutely love it I would recommend anyone to join!

Forced birth clinic that claims to be unbiased. No legit clinic is going to have Bible studies. You go to Bible studies to get points and then you spend those points on their services.

Everyone there is so nice and I took the class they have and was able to get so much stuff with the baby bucks I earned its such an amazing atmosphere you make friends for life everyone there is one big family

This is not a clinic that will give you unbiased information about all of your options in the event of an unplanned pregnancy. It is considered a crisis pregnancy center by NARAL of Missouri. Exercise caution. Planned Parenthood can give you all of the facts and also provide other reproductive healthcare services, unlike Thrive.

I loved my experience at thrive, on my visit I found out I was pregant and had my mind made up that I was going to get abortion, they didnt judge me at all but instead prayed for me now Ive decided to keep my baby and is very excited for motherhood

Thrive does not provide abortions. Their advertising confuses women into thinking they do. Their only goal as a business is to talk women out of having abortions. Go to your doctor or Planned Parenthood instead.

I have a child in the Lindbergh School District where ThriVe teaches their abstinence-only program. I viewed their opt out forms and the surveys that they distribute and they are very deceptive. Apparently these surveys were only made public after repeated requests from parents. On the survey, they ask children for identifing information and private sexual details without informing parents ahead of time via the opt out form, they only specify that the survey will be used for program improvement. This is highly unethical and a violation of 45 CFR 46, Subpart D, which requires organizations to provide basic elements of informed consent when engaging in data collection from children.When seven concerned parents (including an attorney) filed a well-outlined complaint regarding the survey, instead of working with the parents to address the complaints, ThriVe called them un-American and radical at a board meeting. This organization should not be trusted with our children in public schools and after this incident, it makes me question their operation as a whole.

Everyone has been nice and it’s easy to schedule an appointment and also walk in. Sometimes there is a wait to be seen but they try their best to provide services to everyone.

Although their services are wonderful in person I don’t understand why lately every time I try to make an appointment they are “all booked for the week” they start taking calls for appointments at 9:30 and it was only 11 when I called. This has been happening for the past 3 weeks.

These facilities do NOT do walk Ins, when they say they do walk ins you walk in for them to schedule an appointment at a later date. You may as well schedule an appointment to begin with, dont advertise you do walk ins when you dont. It takes 5 minutes to do a pregnancy test.

This is a fake medical clinic, they literally have NO RNs, NPs, or MDs on staff. They cannot prescribe medications, they cannot treat STIs, they wont even REFER for birth control. They are a religious group trying to prevent people from having abortions, thats it. Which is their right, but STOP masquerading as a medical clinic, and STOP using OUR taxpayer dollars! In addition, I have never seen ANY proof they give ANY financial assistance to pregnant people! If they truly wanted to lower the abortion rate, they would actually provide or at least refer people to birth control, but they wont even do that! This is a shameful sham of an organization.

This is an attempt to thwart a womans right to choose by operating as a fake center close to Planned Parenthood and trick people into thinking they are going to a real clinic--the dangers of going here spiral beyond the facts that they are not medically qualified. This place makes me sick, I sat in the lobby for hours waiting on my girlfriend to get checked for pregnancy and get an ultrasound, they told me I couldn’t come in and had me waiting hours in the lobby, even making me wait for the doctor to get here 40 minutes later before they called me in the room, they didn’t even allow my girlfriend to wait with me in the lobby area.

I love thrive when I found out I was pregnant in 2015 with my first child they were major support and very understanding much love ❤️ 💜
