Weekend Vasectomy Clinic

Very pleased with my experience at the weekend clinic. The PA Curt Niederhauser performed mine and was quick and efficient. Chelsey at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She spoke highly of the PA. My wife and I were impressed and would recommend this clinic to anyone. I have had minimal to no pain, only slight soreness. I did not purchase any of the extra packages and have done just fine. Thanks again!

I am 4 days post procedure. I don’t think it could have been made any easier. I got the laughing gas and the Exparel, and highly recommend both. I had to use the frozen peas maybe 6-8 times the first day and that is it. My pain never went above a 3 out of 10. I am still a little sore, no sports or anything, but easily went back to work on Monday. I could not be more impressed with Dr Parkinson and Mack, his jovial assistant. It was very reassuring to discover that Dr Parkinson had done 9,800+ procedures prior to mine. I highly recommend this clinic!

I just got a vasectomy through Weekend Vasectomy and I was really impressed by their operation. They got me in and out in 20 minutes, the entire staff was friendly and had a good sense of humor, and the doctor did a great job of explaining the procedure while he was operating.

Dr.Dixon made it easy! brought music in, made small talk and warned about pressure along the way. Still isn’t fun, but as far as it goes. 10/10 recommend! NO MORE KIDS!!!!!

After watching the required video and doing some research online, I knew what to expect, but I also had heard other people say it was super painful and the recovery was almost a week. That was not my experience, though... The staff and doctor were excellent and super helpful in answering my questions, and the procedure went by so quickly that I barely felt any pain. As far as pain afterward, I only had to do the ice routine three times and take Tylenol once, and the pain was easily manageable. They emphasized taking it easy, which I did for the most part, and Im glad to say that in less than 72 hours, the pain is basically gone. Not that it was excruciating or debilitating in the first place!

Staff was extremely accommodating of my squeamishness and communicated excellently before, during, and after the procedure!Recovery was very quick: mild pain after local anesthetic wore off which subsided by the evening.

It was awesome! I went in was greeted, the staff was all super friendly, I was nervous, because I wasnt sure what to expect, but the staff made me feel comfortable! The doctor was amazing, he told me that he was gonna do some prep, talked with me ,and before I knew it he said and were done! I was blown away by how fast it was! The pain is almost non existent, I did not go with the comfort packages, which did seem a little bit extra, but Im sure that itd be great for people who are a little bit more sensitive to groin pain. At most it feels like someone flicked me in the nuts. 10/10 would recommend anyone to the weekend vasectomy! Coolest staff and doctors!

It was beyond my expectations. Options were made available for comfort levels during the procedure. Both staff and the doctor were very reassuring. The procedure was fast and painless. Each process was explained to me throughout the procedure leaving no questions as to what I was expecting or what was expected of me. I was just so thrilled and excited that it went as well as it did. I would rather this experience an 11 out of 10 if possible! Love Dr. Parkinson

I was not thrilled with the idea of going in for this procedure and definitely had some nerves. The staff and the doctor went to great lengths to ensure I was comfortable both mentally and physically. I was well informed about the procedure, had good after care instructions, and my pain was well managed. At one point during the procedure I felt the slightest twinge of some pain and the doctor immediately added more numbing medicine which took care of things.The recovery has also been significantly better than expected. The first day is a little rough, but after that its been pretty smooth sailing! Would definitely recommend!

Staff was great and really friendly. They talked with me throughout the whole procedure and kept it light and easy, which helped with the nervousness. My wife was able to come back with me and the staff was friendly with her as well. The whole procedure took less than an hour and the actual vasectomy only took about 15 minutes. Only the initial numbing was uncomfortable, but the numbing kicked in incredibly fast and I felt nothing during the procedure. As promised I walked out without any problems and drove myself home. Other than some slight discomfort for the end of the first day I have had 0 pain or discomfort and was pretty much able to get right back to my normal life within a day. I’m 3 days post vasectomy and it seems the tiny cuts they made seem to already be closed without any swelling or bleeding. I fully recommend Weekend Vasectomy.

1) mack is hilarious.2) actual procedure took like 5 min. the star trek hypo spray is like getting pinched on your gnards and thats the extent of discomfort.3) sending in your sample is basically the only option because they process in-person quarterly.

I went there a little nervous and during the procedure, I realized there was no reason. The staff made me feel comfortable and Justin Parkinson is easygoing and explains everything simply in as much or as little details as you want. Everyone is super professional. The procedure is totally painless. When I say painless, I really mean painless. So much that if the doctor did not say he is about to do apply the anesthetic you would not notice anything specific. After that, you really feel nothing and just chat with Justin.I am now seven hours after the procedure and there is no pain whatsoever while I did not get the additional long lasting numbing shot they offer. I am not going to reveal my personal activities in the past seven hours but you can get back into action the same day.If you know you do not want to have kids anymore, there is no reason nor excuses to wait while having your lady take the pill or go through way more complicated and nasty contraceptive procedures. My only regret really is not doing this 15 years ago. Now I only have 12 weeks to wait thanks to everyone at the Weekend Vasectomy Clinic. Thank you all!

Very quick and relatively painless! I asked a question and by the time hed answered it I was halfway done with the procedure. Recovery has been easy as well, would definitely recommend to others.

Dr. Parkinson and his team could not have been better. They are great communicators, friendly, empathetic, experienced, and highly skilled. I recommend them without reservation. If I could give them more than five stars, I would do it!

At the time of the visit they advised my insurance was only covering 50% of the procedure and billed me $500. I received notice today that my insurance did in fact cover the entire procedure and I was only supposed to pay a $25 co-pay.It took awhile to get this refunded but they did adjust in the end to get everything squared away. Procedure itself was quick and I would absolutely advise everyone visiting to spring on the exparel shot... that stuff was like magic.

This place has the vasectomy dialed! They know the worst part is the anticipation, so they proactively provide a ton of information to not only make sure you know what youre doing, but also so you know exactly what to expect. They were super awesome about canceling/changing appointments when we had some initial hesitation. That actual procedure was slick and they offered a variety of anesthesia options. The nitrous oxide was perfect and I was able to drive myself home just fine. The briefs and ice pack you can purchase were a perfect addition to the recovery experience.

Courteous and professional service. This non-invasive version is far superior to the original version (I had a failed attempt at the OG variation) Get the platinum “package” (pun intended?) worth the extra cost, and cheaper than a few months of child support, from what I’ve heard.. hah! This place was so amazing! The no needles and no stitches is what amazed me. The numbing medication was a small pinch, but no needles which helped my anxiety. The staff is very friendly and professional. They wear these awesome shirts that make you laugh. All of their logos are great to read! I felt no pain during the procedure. After, I had very little swelling. I had a little more pain on one side versus the other. But it was very minimal. Nothing that a tylenol didnt fix. I had no bleeding. It felt more like a sick stomach. I would definitely recommend this place. They did a great job!

Scheduling the appointment was really easy and the staff we absolutely fantastic. Getting to the office was a little, not difficult, but there could be some signage, if you go you will know what I mean.Dr. Parkinson was great, he explained everything and was very reassuring. I believe I was in and out in a half hour.

Everyone was cordial and polite. The Doctor and the nurse were personable and made me feel at ease with a good mix of humor and empathy. I didnt get any of the care packages and felt noore than a price when. Administering the anesthesia. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a vasectomy.

I had an amazing experience, I was very nervous as this is something any man fears. But the dr and nurses were very helpful in walking me through the process and any questions I had were answered before anything happened. Was painless and fast. Only waited for 5 minutes after paperwork was signed. Was only in the room for a max of 15 minutes and then was walking out of the building. I recommend this place for anyone wanting this procedure done.

The doctor was very good and professional, and the no scalpel no needle approach made the healing process much quicker and easier. I relaxed for 2 and 1/2 days with my bag of frozen peas, took pain meds as recommended, and felt really good the entire time. Things went really smooth and I will recommend this to my friends.

Drove 5 hours from northern Nevada to come here. Cant say enough good things, nice staff, didnt have to wait. Actually showed up early and they took me right in. Was in and out in less than half an hour. Very informative and made the experience as comfortable as possible. Didnt have to take time off work. Quick recovery and minimal pain. Would definitely recommend. Have to give 4 stars though because I couldnt get my prescription due to them not answering the phone.

Didn’t need to do any of the pain relief/anesthesia packages and still had almost no pain at all. The staff was very helpful and informative and the procedure was extremely quick and easy! Couldn’t recommend Weekend Vasectomy more!

The clinic, doctor and all the staff were great. For a procedure being done on my private area, they made it as comfortable for me as it possibly could have. Was in and out of the clinic in less than 30 minutes, the procedure its self only took what felt like 5 mins. The doctor explained everything he was doing as he did it and made sure I didnt feel a thing. If I could give them a higher rating I would. I would recommend this clinic to anyone choosing to have this procedure done. Even though the procedure is pain free dont expect to not feel it later, you got a procedure done in your testicular region and after the numbing wears off you can tell. Feels like someone kicked you in the boys with a steal toe boot, not unbearable but you can feel it real good in your lower gut for a few hours; slowly turned to more of a discomfort then pain after.

Getting a vasectomy at the Weekend Vasectomy Clinic was really a no-brainer for me and it should be the same for you. First off, I didnt need to take any time off of work because of the convenient weekend schedule they run. The Atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and really made you feel at home.Next, the procedure was not like anything I expected. Being a no-scalpel and -noneedle procedure things move FAST! A little pinch is pretty much all I felt and the doctor explained everything as it was happening, which helped soothe my nerves. After 11 minutes, I was done. A band-aid and a prescription for pain was all I needed and I was on my way home.Finally, my recovery was faster than I had expected. After spending the rest of the weekend icing and relaxing, I was able to go back to work the following Monday. A small bruise at the site was the only indication that anything had happened, and after two weeks all pain and the mild discomfort were gone. The mild discomfort is akin to a post shot to the boys region—not debilitating, but the you-know-its-there kind of feeling.I highly recommend the Weekend Vasectomy Clinic and its wonderful staff to anyone considering a vasectomy, you will not be disappointed.

The staff was very friendly. The vasectomy was not bad at all. There was a little pain while they administered the numbing but after that it was smooth sailing.

I was very anxious regarding the procedure, however that was countered by the professionalism of the doctor and staff. The procedure was much more of a mental battle than a physical/painful one. The process from procedure to recovery has been smooth. My pain levels were kept to a very comfortable and manageable level. I would recommend your services to anyone considering this procedure.

Very professional. The doctor and nurse had a sense of humor and that helped ease the tension as this was my first procedure ever.Dr. Dixon did my vasectomy and he did an AMAZING job. Was a little sore for the next few hours but laid down to watch The Avengers: Infinity Wars while my girlfriend helped switch out ice packs for me. The pain was almost gone by the end of the day.The next day, I was pleasantly surprised to find i felt absolutely no pain and could walk normally again. The experience was great! Strange to say that about someone removing parts of my body, but the high level of service, prioritization of comfort and relaxation, and even the honesty was just incredible.

I dont even know where to start, but here goes. I got a Vasectomy late May by Dr. Dixon. However, within a week my right testicle started swelling and causing pressure. I took Ibuprofen to help with the swelling and to see if it would go down, but it increased and started turning red. So I went into see Dr. Dixon on a walk in basis and he was able to see me and look into the issue. I guess I was one of those rare cases where there are some complications. He prescribed me antibiotics for two weeks and everything was great.Now here is my problem. It is now late July/early August and now for some odd reason that right testicle is swelling up again along with it being red. I call their offices to explain to them my issue as it was exactly before to see if I could be put on another round of antibiotic. However, now as they are done with me and have gotten paid, they are in complete denial that this is due to the Vasectomy. Im 30 years old, never had a single issue down there till after this and they just reassure me, its not from the vasectomy and must be some trauma for which they were trying to put words in my mouth. I have the summers off and I HAVE NOT overdone anything to cause such trauma. How in the hell is it not from my Vasectomy? I came to find out my rare complications is Epididymitis, (for which the doctor failed to explain to me (useless)) which can be classified as acute, subacute, and chronic, depending on the duration of symptoms. Now tell me how after 2 months of getting a vasectomy... this isnt the issue, especially if it can be chronic? Also I explained to the assistant that Ive always had pressure on the right Vas, explaining for maybe some odd reason that it reconnected. The assistant said, Ive never heard of it reconnecting. UM? Youre an assistant to a doctor that regularly does Vasectomys and you dont know the possible complications. Useless... now I get to deal with this problem with my primary care provider (who has no idea what was done) and pay for that out of pocket. If after seeing my primary care provider and they assure me it is from the Vasectomy, they are going to have a lawsuit on their hands.Think twice about maybe going to this clinic. They were friendly and nice until you needed something after the fact. Also I would do some research on who is doing your Vasectomy and thats where Im kicking myself for not doing so and maybe would have never had any issues.

Quick and painless. You know what to expect before you even arrive and about any complications that may arise. They make you well aware of the alternatives also. Doctors actually answer the phone if you need help post-op and will go out of their way to aid with any issues.

It is easy to get the procedure done . But impossible to get reading for test of your sample afterward so after 4 months I still wonder if I am safe

If you gotta do it do it here. Get the drugs.
