Wow! What an excellent experience. The entire staff was warm, welcoming and professional!The location is beautiful and so very cleanThe Dr. was knowledgeable and i felt ao comfortableThank you, beautiful ladies!

Ive been to this location several times now for a variety of services and have had exceptional service each time I visit. The location is easy to find and the facilities are comfortable and new. All of the staff have been helpful and it feels like they all care. I live closer to other PP locations but I keep coming back to this one because it feels like a hidden gem.

First, I didn’t have an appointment because I was coming from L.A. which I did round trip driving and didn’t know what time I should get in SD. But I checked on website and I saw availability for today noon. Then I stopped by 11:45. The front desk made an appointment for 12:30. Then, at 12:30 I had a bunch of paperwork to fill up because the first front desk was hurried to go for her Lunch break. I had to sit and wait for 10 more minutes for screening. Which is fine, but after screening, I looked to the clock and I was 1:40,and I was still waiting. No one came to say anything. At the end I said to nurse that I understand that I made my appointment at the same day, and I should wait. But I also think that they should have said something either, just to make me feel that someone would come.

I just had an appt in this location which i had never been here and i honestly have nothing but great things to say. The facility feels brand new, i believe it was finished 2 years ago but everything still feels new. The whole staff are professional, kind and always ask if you have any questions. I been to several other locations but i am switching to this one.

Appointments are a must! Ive always encountered friendly receptionists that help you make your appointments over the phone and answers questions regarding insurance coverage for the services you need.I arrived and filled out some paperwork. There was about a 15 min wait where I enjoyed watching a Marvel movie that was playing in their lobby. I was then called to the back and a medical assistant took my medical history and baseline vitals and then got the doctor in asap. My doctor was friendly, thorough, and sent me on my way within 15 minutes for a comprehensive exam.I would recommend to anyone who needs reproductive health services as the staff are extremely professional, friendly, and courteous.

Took very long to see me and do my tests, then took several weeks to get me my test results even though they said it would only take one week. Still dont have an official copy of results, just a phone call confirmation with a nurse. Also, the patient portal just doesnt load half the time.

This location is really nice and clean, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I’m always nervous going to the OBGYN but they made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

They have switched to a new system where they can’t schedule past *a month*, they can’t tell me when they will have a new schedule, they can’t even keep me with the same provider. I don’t understand how continuation of care is not a priority to these people. Not looking forward to coming back here.

Overall, wonderful healthcare experience. The receptionist did a wonderful job explaining waiting times, schedules, process, etc. (waiting time was short and quicker than expected). I have had elevated hormones preventing me from being able to get pregnant, despite wanting to start a family with my husband. The PA Georgie did a magnificent job sitting down and explaining what’s going on in my body. She did thorough amounts of blood work to try and get to the root cause of the problem as opposed to just treating the problem like other physicians I have seen. She sat down with a pen and paper and took the time to make sure I understood all aspects and felt comfortable. Everyone had great bedside manner and was incredibly professional/respectful. I had never been to planned parenthood before, but would definitely use them again.

BE CAREFUL! Even if you make an appointment online, you could possibly still be turned away!I went to this planned parenthood yesterday for my appointment, come to find out, my appointment was not on the system and I was told the “online schedule can be wacky”So because of their system fault, I couldn’t get my appointment which I NEEDED and now I have to wait until MONDAY! How ridiculous! I still can’t believe they just turned me and away and couldn’t so a damn thing for me but make another appointment! NEVER SCHEDULE ONLINE! ITS!NOT!DEPENDENT!!!

Took over 90 minutes to see a practitioner WITH an appointment and Blue Cross PPO Plus. The room was so cold my toes turned cyanotic; I was wearing a sweatshirt and sandals. The walls were so thin I heard all the complaints of patients in adjacent rooms. The provider spoke to me for less than five minutes and wrote me a prescription. 4 days later the practitioner cancelled my prescription and DID NOT NOTIFY ME. The pharmacy notified me immediately and two days after that I got a call from a generic planned parenthood nurse who also did not know WHY my prescription was revoked and blamed me for being upset (of course I was upset!!!). After being on hold for hours, the clinic asked me to come in AGAIN, and I said I refused to pay for a second appointment when billed services were not provided to me in the first appointment, so they agreed to wave the fee. The practitioner then spoke her superior, a physician, and decided that there was no reason the revoke my prescription (a medication I have been on for FIVE YEARS). The practitioner then neglected to tell me in a phone call, voicemail, OR online patient portal message that my appointment was cancelled and my prescription was re-fulfilled at my local pharmacy, so I showed up for my CANCELLED appointment the next day. Absolutely a pathetic excuse for healthcare.

Everyone was prompt and courteous. The wait was very reasonable, if not brief. The staff behind the desk and specifically the lab techs are all very helpful and personable, going out of their way to help you with information. I will be going back to this location.

I la la love Planned Parenthood at the Kearny Mesa location. Everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and understanding. I always feel safe and supported when I get my services here.

Made an appointment at 11 got there at 10:45 and still waited an hour to only pick up some mess that Ive been on for over a year. The wait time is ridiculous and I was the only one in the waiting room. Like seriously are you guys that short staffed?!? Get more staff please this is unnecessary if theres only one person to be seen for the whole hour!!!!

Dont call their phone number. Ive been on the phone for over three minutes now and all they do is play pre-recorded messages in english and spanish. No way to actually talk to a person.

Very disappointed. The hours listed on google aren’t correct. I got there at 550 for an urgent matter thinking they closed at 630pm, and they rejected my ( at maximum ) 15 min long appointment, because the hours listed on the door say they close at 6pm.

Planned Parenthood is such an amazing organization. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful.

Love the staff they have always been great to me I have been coming here for the last 9 years and they never let me know.

Today it’s July 26 2018 and I had my appointment at 2:50 and now it’s 3:50 and still waiting to be seeing by a doctor , what a disrespect for my time , what is the benefit of making an appointment, if the walking went ahead of me

The nurses, medical assistants and receptionists are very friendly and take good care of you❤️I traveled almost an hour to get to that clinic but it is worth it personally of all the Planned Parenthood clinics I have been to, this is where I have been They were treated very well and they are all very friendly and very nice. Thats why even though there are similar clinics near me, I prefer to travel here very comfortably.
