If youre considering endometriosis excision surgery, I emphatically recommend Dr. Orady.Dr. Orady is one of the best people there is, she and her care team have been so incredible have played a huge part of my health care and endometriosis journey. Dr. Orady and her PA Grace Banks are so kind, caring, and compassionate about the treatment of women with endometriosis that have been failed for years before ending up in her office. They listened and validated my experiences. The time between initial appointments to determine the need for surgery to having surgery was much quicker than I was anticipating for such a renown specialist, only a couple of months. She did an incredible job with surgery and my healing has been incredible. Dr. Orady has changed my life with her care and I am eternally grateful.

WOW!! Can I give 10 stars? 100? Dr. Orady is an angel. If you have period problems and havent got any answers from other practitioners, look no further! I’ve just seen Dr. Orady once and already couldn’t recommend her more. It’s pretty wild how much of a difference seeing the right provider can make.I’ve been struggling with period problems for the last 4-5 years and have seen at least 3 OBGYNs who have done all the ultrasounds and MRIs and have found nothing wrong. Within seconds of looking at previous MRI results (which were declared normal, I will add) and doing an ultrasound, Dr. Orady identified exactly what is wrong. Shes truly a pro at the top of her field. I finally feel heard and validated. I wish every woman could have this level of care! I will get surgery with her in a few months. What’s more is that Dr. Orady is so kind, down to earth, and empathetic. She clearly loves what she does and cares about her patients. Her team members are also so sweet. Her office has zen spa vibes. Overall I had a great experience and am so so grateful to have found Dr. Orady.

I had an incredibly positive experience with Dr. Mona Orady and her team. I struggled with infertility for 1.5 years, and then after having surgery with Dr. Orady, I conceived naturally my first cycle post-op.For years, none of my OBGYNs or REs seemed to care about my endo or my pain. Dr. Orady listened to me and was able to see things on my ultrasound that others could not. When Dr. Orady shared her interpretations with me, they made sense. It seems like a small thing, but I wasnt able to find that with other MDs.If surgery is your goal, Dr. Orady will get you scheduled FAST. Excision surgery can be an insurance nightmare, but their team is skilled in working with different insurance companies. This practice is relatively new, and it seems like they are still finding their way with certain things. I wouldnt always get responses to my messages, and the patient portal can be a little glitchy. These are small things though compared to the life-changing care I was so lucky to receive. If you have pelvic pain or infertility, I HIGHLY recommend the Orady Clinic.

Its not everyday you find a doctor like Dr. Orady. After months of researching providers specializing in endometriosis treatment, my intuition told me that Dr. Orady would be the right doctor for me. Not only is she an extremely well regarded expert in her field, she is also incredibly kind and personable.I was searching for a highly skilled surgeon who would work with me as a partner (not as a dictator) in my treatment, and Dr. Orady did not disappoint.Dr. Orady worked extensively with me to develop a clear treatment plan. We both agreed that surgery would be the next best step in this plan. Before the surgery, Dr. Orady and I carefully combed through my thoughts and wishes to ensure we had a solid plan before scheduling the procedure. One of the best experiences during this entire process was feeling heard and respected by Dr. Orady whenever I expressed my own knowledge and feelings regarding my condition and treatment options. This was a significant key in creating the sense of trust and safety I felt with Dr. Orady.Another reason I felt such a strong sense of trust with Dr. Orady was her display of determination, this sense that failure is not an option when she has a goal in mind. A very nice trait to see in your doctor, especially if they are also your surgeon. Not only did this leave me with a feeling that she would provide the best surgical results possible but I was also left feeling there was no better provider to trust with my life while in the operating room. Of course, I cant imagine any doctor who wouldnt do their best to avoid mistakes when caring for patients, but once you see Dr. Orady in action, youll understand what Im explaining here. After a great deal of planning, surgery day finally arrived. Going under general anesthesia is enough to make anyone nervous but the trust I felt for Dr. Orady and her team at St. Francis Memorial Hospital (including her PA, Grace Banks) significantly outweighed my fears. The morning of the procedure, Dr.Orady held my hand and reassured me that I would be well taken care of, and she was right...everything went incredibly well!During the surgery, Dr. Orady was able to remove a significant amount of endometriosis and endometriomas, including the largest - around 18 cm. This was all done laparoscopically, which is amazing! I feel so much lighter, so much better!! I am extremely grateful to Dr. Orady and her team.I would like to end this review by saying that, of course, every point of communication matters when a patient engages with a healthcare provider. Good communication helps the patient feel safe. However, mistakes occur when dealing with any business/provider/human, and if you feel as though someone in Dr. Oradys office has made a mistake, I suggest discussing the issue with Dr. Orady, as she is the type of person who will want to make it right. Also, remember, it wont be the office staff performing any aspect of your actual treatment (surgery, etc.), so I recommend keeping the bigger picture in mind, and focusing on the most important elements of care when deciding whether youll choose Dr.Orady as your provider. In doing so, youll eventually see Dr. Orady in person and discover, as I did, she truly is exceptional.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Orady and her team. I have never felt so listened to about what I was experiencing/going through, and cared for throughout the entire course of decided treatment. From the support I received navigating insurance approval, to surgery and post op care - I couldnt recommend this office enough.

I just had to share my experience with Dr. Mona Orady. I went in very nervous as i have been struggling with symptoms for years and not had answers but her clinic and team just put me right at ease. Her office manager Jolieta was especially kind in explaining the wait times and paperwork required. Dr. Orady listened to all my concerns and explained everything to me very clearly. She even did an ultrasound right then and there and showed me exactly what was going on. I needed a polyp removal, and she did it right there in the clinic that day. The actual removal took less than 5 minutes, and I didnt have to go under general anesthesia which no other gynecologist prior had offered me a choice of. She also helped me confirm a diagnosis of endometriosis which other doctors had been overlooking for years. Dr. Orady has literally ended a ten year cycle of unexplained symptoms and pain within one visit. She is truly an expert in her field. My only regret is that i did not find her sooner. I immediately recommended her to my sisters, mom, and friends. I definitely recommend her for any gynecologic needs!

Where do I even start? Has your doctor, a world class surgeon, given you their cellphone number? Dr Orady saved my life and gave me my life back too. I suffered from chronic pain for over 15 years, I was medically gaslighted and told my period pain and infertility were “normal” I was constantly just given pain killers even as a 15 year old. I finally decided to pay Dr Orady a visit in February 2021, she sat next to me while her PA, Grace Banks, took notes and they both validated what I was suffering through and right then and there we booked my surgery date for March. I shouted from the rooftops that I finally had an answer to what I was going through that my pain, discomfort etc was caused by something and that healing was on the horizon. After I woke up from surgery I discovered things did not go as planned and my endometriosis was stage 4, meaning it progressed to other organs including my rectum, bladder, my ovaries, pelvic wall and in the muscle of my uterus. When all this was explained to me all I could do was cry. Tears of relief for finally having an answer and having most of the disease removed from my body and tears of anger for not being heard sooner. I am glad that I did end up in the best care with Dr Orady and her team and I sing her praises any chance I get. Because of my successful surgery I was finally able to conceive. I recommend Dr Orady to family, friends, strangers and anyone who will listen. Your pain, your infertility, everything you’ve been dismissed about has a reason and Dr Orady and her team will help you find it!

I have been seeing Dr. Orady since early 2020, and I can’t say enough good things about her. I have been dealing with a severe condition of uterine fibroids almost my entire adulthood. As my husband and I tried to grow our family, we knew that we had a nearly impossible battle to fight to conceive naturally. After consulting with many doctors, we decided to go with Dr. Orady to work on removing the fibroids and to maximize our chances of pregnancy. Dr. Orady examined me and my history, and was immediately on board to fight for a chance with us. Over the past 3.5 years and after numerous surgeries, we can honestly say we fought hard, and did everything we could with Dr. Oradys help. It was not a success story at the end, but we are at peace with the process and the outcome, knowing we tried our best. Also, everyone I spoke to, such as my primary care doctor, fertility doctor, nurses at the operating room, only had good things to say. One of the OR nurses was talking to me as I was rolled into the OR. After she learned my history, the nurse told me that Dr. Orady is the exact doctor I want to operate on me in my case. I can’t agree any more. Go see her if you need OB help, she will be your best ally and guide.

From the onset, visiting Dr. Mona Oradys clinic felt like a breath of fresh air. Its not every day you encounter a medical professional who seamlessly blends expertise with empathy, but that’s precisely what Dr. Orady offers. From the start, her staff exhibited nothing but kindness and efficiency. You can tell she pays special attention to detail with things like aromatherapy ,music, and a calming fountain in the waiting room.Meeting Dr. Orady was the highlight of the visit. Her wealth of knowledge in the field of gynecology is evident, but its her approach to patient care that truly stands out. She patiently listened to all my concerns, addressed each query with clarity, and provided insights that were both valuable and easily comprehensible. The examination was conducted with the utmost delicacy, with Dr. Orady continuously ensuring my comfort and understanding at each juncture. Her genuine concern for my well-being was palpable, and its this dedication to her patients that makes her stand out. She not only provided medical solutions but also gave me guidance, resources, and knowledge to make informed decisions about my health in the future.Dr. Mona Oradys clinic is a testament to what healthcare should aspire to be - a combination of cutting-edge expertise, patient-centered care, and genuine compassion. I left with a sense of gratitude and trust, knowing that Im in the best hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Orady to anyone in search of top-tier gynecological care.

I am so grateful I found Dr. Orady and her team in 2019. After years of debilitating pain that significantly impacted my work and my life, she gave me back hope by recognizing, diagnosing, and treating my severe endometriosis. She made me feel heard and understood. She never minimized my experience. She could identify issues via ultrasound (she performs them herself) that no one else could and her surgical skills were exceptional. Dont waste years on office visits or procedures with doctors who dont know what they are doing, or worse, who make you feel hopeless. Instead, put your trust in Dr. Orady. She wont let you down!

Dr Orady listened to me and believed what I was saying! I had surgery over a year ago, I regained my quality of life!! She literally saved my life, when I met her I already surgery scheduled with another surgeon only to find out during that summit my surgeon was not who I needed! I would recommend anyone I know to her!💗

Dr. Orady, Grace and their team have been such a blessing. Prior to finding Dr. Orady I had been to other doctors at UCSF and Kaiser explaining my situation and the pain I was in. I was dismissed by others and told everything looks fine and to come back in a year if I am still in pain.I knew something was wrong with my body so continued looking for a doctor that could help. Upon meeting Dr. Orady she did an exam and ultrasound and immediately knew the severity of my case. Everything was quick and smooth after that from booking an MRI, colonoscopy and bloodwork and setting a surgery date. I’ve never received such care and recognition prior to Dr. Orady and her team. Her ability to recognize and excise endometriosis is truly outstanding.Surgery day went smooth and Dr. Orady and Grace provided great communication and comfort post- opp. Dr. Orady even gave me her personal number in case so that I could easily reach her. I couldn’t possibly recommend her enough to anyone who suffers from this silent but chronic illness.

Called more than 4x to have them send a Quest lab referral. There were multiple follow up calls for another test. That lab never received my lab specimen given at Mona Orady/Grace Banks office. Their office needs organizational help. Grace Banks walked into the room and was expecting another patient. I chose them bc they are in network. Nothing about dealing with this office has been easy.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a clinic: long waits and racial microaggressions.I waited almost 2 hours for an appointment with Dr Orady and ended up leaving without even seeing her. There was little communication about when I would actually see Dr Orady.During patient intake, the nurse (non-POC) attempted to pronounce my name with Chinese pronunciation vs Americanized. When I only responded to the Americanized version, she then proceeded to go down a line of questioning around if I speak Chinese and where I was born. She made a comment about how I have “no accent” and then when I told her that I immigrated to America when I was a baby, she asked if I was adopted, lol.The clinic is located in San Francisco where there are A LOT of Asians with “no accents.” Most of all, it’s totally inappropriate to assume that someone is adopted based on country of birth.I picked this clinic because it’s led by a female of color, so having this type of exchange caught me off guard. The entire experience was bewildering and will not be going back.

If I could give Dr. Orady, Lynn and the rest of her team 10 stars I would. Dr. Orady continues to provide me with the very best medical experience I have ever had.Dr. Orady is brilliant, empathetic and warm. Her drive to help women is sincere and heartfelt. I had a 5.5 hour robotic surgery last month after Endo aggressively reoccurred.A few things to note about Dr. Orady that sets her apart:-She personally performs ultrasounds and reads MRIs. I cannot reiterate how key this is. Reports from diagnostic testing can dictate a path for treatment. What if the radiologist missed something? Dr. Orady sees what radiologists often miss and it is incredible (and not surprising) that she takes the time to review in detail to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.-If necessary, Dr. Orady operates with a General Surgeon (in my case, Dr. Kelly Alexander who is also fantastic) to ensure excision is as thorough as possible. They are an excellent team.It took a few months to get my first appointment with Dr. Orady. After the first visit, the process took time. She is, without a doubt, worth the wait. I understand firsthand that pain and illness can often make a day feel like an eternity, but I would encourage patients to hold out hope, trust the process, and work with Dr. Orady. There are many doctors that will offer Endo surgery. But these surgeries are complex and should be left to an experienced and skilled specialists like Dr. Orady that can perform a thorough excision to provide true relief and prevent the need for additional surgeries in the future.I refer to Dr. Orady as Christmas Miracle. From the bottom of my heart I am so very grateful to Dr. Orady and her team.

I am an old patient of Dr. Orady and went to her for a IUD insertion pre-pandemic. Her office has rude staff and runs extremely late for appointments. It was the worst experience of my life because the insertion hurt so badly to the point where I feinted from the pain. Afterwards, her staff was very rude and thought I was exaggerating about the pain. Fast forward to today, i just got a new IUD inserted with a different physician. I experienced absolutely no pain with my new Dr. especially after letting her know painful my previous experience was; she explained that she would inject something for pain management and made sure to wait for it to take effect before starting removal of my old IUD and insertion of a new one. Now that I know this procedure shouldn’t hurt to the point of passing out please, do not go to Dr. Orady because my experience was not normal and truly traumatizing.

On behalf of my girlfriend, I want to share praise and gratitude for Dr. Mona. My gf had cramping issues that became incredibly painful & debilitating. Previous docs had suggested birth control and heavy painkillers. This was non-sensical long-term, so we tried Dr. Mona, who almost immediately spotted severe endometriosis and expedited surgery. The endometriosis was so severe/extensive that my gf had to have her appendix removed. Shes been really amazing; calm, thorough, responsive and flexible, and my gf now experiences no pain without drugs, + we can pursue a family. Please do not settle for an unending prescription of drugs. We are incredibly thankful for Dr. Monas help.
