Do NOT go to this location or maybe Sonora Quest in general if you have original Medicare plus a supplement.1) They do not know the difference between advantage plans and a supplement.2) They do not know the insurance companies, insisting that Mutual of Omaha was the same company as Physicians Mutual, which they are not.3) they are not well-versed in the coverages available with the various supplemental plans, as they said my labs would not be covered because I see a Natural Pathic, when they have been covered for three years with no problems.My insurance has not changed for three years and I have not had a problem there until today. With all the same people I’ve seen there before, I was shocked. They wanted to charge me $1200 for my well-care labs today which has been covered through them for the past three years.I had to cancel my annual well care visit which I had scheduled three months prior, and find an appointment with LabCorp two weeks later and reschedule my well care visit. I have talked to several friends since this happened, all with similar incompetence stories, and they all told me they switched to LabCorp. Too bad, Sonora Quest was only a mile from our house.

I came in with my 1 year old child and Tiara was nothing but amazing not only did she take me as a walk in at a appointment only location she put my child paperwork in and went the extra mile to draw my baby blood and did such an AMAZING job . She more than qualified for the job I seen so many people come in being rude to her because she was following company protocols by prioritizing appointments before walk and not once did she turn her face up she stay polite and professional the entire time when I know it’s people who would have easily handled that situation differently. Hand clap for you Ms.Tiara your a wonderful gem to the company keep up the great work people notice and watching you

The Sonora Quest website was down all weekend, so I couldnt make an appt online in advance (hence 4 star rating vs 5). After reading their recent reviews I felt discouraged & unhopeful, but was pleasantly SURPRISED!!! I went early this morning without an appt. Nobody was at the reception & the light was off but people were sitting in the waiting area. I went directly to the stand up kiosk & lightly taped on the screen to log my name & info, so I could be put on the waiting list. I sat & my name was called before I knew it with no appt! ANDREA WAS A GEM & SO SWEET!!! She greeted me with the biggest smile & walked me down the hall. I had printed out my Labs off my Doctors patient portal before I left the house so had them with me as may have commented Sonora never received their labs. Mine werent in their system either FYI, so it was good to print them out & take with me. Andrea plugged them into her computer & registered my new insurance cards & took blood. I was in & out in 30 minutes. I recommend going early if you dont have an appt! Immediately, walk in & gently type your name into the kiosk using the pen with the rubber end bit to type in your info. THANK YOU ANDREA!!! 😀

Having billing issues with them again. This is the 3rd time. And no one ever calls us to let us know we owe money. This last time my son had a blood draw and they put in the wrong address. And the wrong support codes for insurance to cover it. Then almost 6 month later I get a call from a debt collector. Lucky since the doctor put the wrong address it won’t affect our credit. This is most likely the last straw. But need to find some who has their stuff together

Last time I was here a month ago they took me in as a walk in. Not one person told me that it was a walk in location only, including my doctors. Secondly, my paperwork was not on file with them even though it was supposed to have been. Third, when I came back a second time for a different doctor, I was then notified this was a appointment only location.I take time out of my day to do these labs before work and yet, they expect me to drive across town to a walk in location? I work for a living. This company is worse than the VA. At another location, A WALK IN ONE, they had me sit for 45 minutes, my name in queue on the TV screen, and not once was I called for paperwork. Multiple people passed me and my name mysteriously disappeared from the queue.Talk about wasted time and poor communication. They have to deal with enough snow birds already. I try to have patience with organizations, but this is the second time this has happened and the third day overall I’ve had my time wasted due to them.

If it wasnt for the badly trained nurse who did the blood sample extraction, I would give a 5 star, but Mr. Gonzales does not fully qualify for the job he has been given. As the procedure was finalized, I realized that I was left with a bruise on my left arm. Also, he didnt ask me to verify my name and surnames label on each of my sample tubes.Sonora Quest should screen their nurses more thoroughly. If you dont take care of your patients, your competition will.

Tierra was nothing but amazing she took my dad in as a walk-in the wait time was very reasonable and after 2 different phlebotomists tried poking my father and missed, she came in and got him on her first try and he said her stick was so painless he didnt even feel the needle. Job well done Tierra we hope to see you next time.

They could not suck more. The Scottsdale-Deer Valley locations was horrible. Rude, ill-informed regarding solutions and incredibly slow in providing results. If you like crowded, DMV like conditions with counter staff that are less than appropriate for the job -- this is your place!

I had a great experience! Stefan (hope I spelled his name correctly) at the front desk was very friendly! Selena did my blood draw, she was EXCELLENT! She didn’t even leave a mark! People ALWAYS have a hard time w/my blood draw, not Selena! Highly recommend! Thank you!

I am so pleased with this location. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I got my blood work done in the short time frame I had to have it. I explained my situation and they made sure they got me back, even though they weren’t a walk in location. I appreciated Katie especially. She made sure to make time for me between my work schedule. Not only that but I felt hardly anything when she poked me. I love her! The other staff member who helped me was also so sweet but I didn’t catch her name. I don’t live in Arizona but travel there for work, I will make sure if I ever need labs again I will wait and have it in AZ. I have never been treated so nice getting labs. Thank you so much.

5 Stars for Geovana. She is Miss Above and Beyond. I wasn’t able to get an appointment for my daughter and we happened to be by that lab. I thought we would chance and see if they could take her as a walk in. Geovana went out of her way to fit her in. She was so sweet and has such a kind demeanor. Sonora Quest needs more team members such as Genovana! She is a STAR employee. Thank you so much for fitting my daughter in!

My doctor told me orders were sent in-the receptionist said it was not. I had to call the doctor, they said “Sonora Quest always says that-they have the order. Low and behold the order was in their system but they somehow overlooked it. Then I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Bad service!

Great experience. The staff were efficient and caring. While waiting, I noted that the front desk staff went beyond to help customers. For example, one elderly couple forgot their orders and home and didnt remember the name of their doctor. The staff worked hard to track things down to make sure they didnt have to go home and get the order. It was more than I expected.

I got my blood drawn and it was super fast/efficient! I loved the staff! There was some cranky old Karen in the Lobby who kept yelling and talking about random things. Thankfully she was in and out, nobody wanted her there

I’m just really surprised at the change in the attitude of the people working there. Friends and family felt that this was our best kept secret of a friendly and convenient place to go get a blood draw. Wether is just this location or the whole company It seems like having patients come in is now more of an annoyance than an opportunity to help. Also it seems like they expect you to wait at least a week for an appointment, regardless of the urgency of the reason for the test. Sad and disappointing, as well as threatening to the health of their patients.

Actual location is extremely clean, staff is SUPER friendly. Since I scheduled an appointment I was in and out in less than five minutes.Negative:Takes forever to process labs, 1-3 day turn around for simple labs isnt the case, expect 7+ days. EDIT: Turns out it was process, just not added to my account. I had to call to get it fixed, but waited because the recommended to wait 14 days before calling their help line.

I have never had any trouble at this location and I have been here a lot. The front staff is always friendly and efficient. All the phlebotomists here have been nothing but kind and full of personality. Always asking how my day is going or how I am. Never have I been in any pain. I will only choose this location because of my wonderful experiences here

Called and asked to walk in and they said as long as i got here before 4 they would see me.I expected to wait a long time since I was a walk-in and I was damn near the 4 PM checkmark when I got here around 3:45. However I was greeted very nicely and she checked me in pretty quick and I was literally seen in the first three minutes that I sat down. My tech was a extern who is learning but I allowed her to do it anyways because everyone was really nice she did really well and I literally got out of there from starting at 3:45 and finishing at 3:56. Awesome service!

Just want to give a shout out to Courtney on the front desk! They were extremely busy today and she was so polite and friendly to each and everyone who came through the door while I was waiting. She had a few patrons that were not so friendly and she continued to be professional with a smile. My phlebotomist was great too.

The front desk lady was very friendly. The lady who took 4 viles of blood from me was great. She knew I had been fasting and offered me her fruit cup. I did not accept but what a nice gesture. As good as you could hope for. 😄

I went in for some blood work on a Monday morning at 11 am. I was worried that I’d have to wait a long time. The front desk ladies were very nice and I was called back in 15 mins! The lab tech was great, even went I started to feel faint. Overall this was way less of a hassle than I thought it would be, and I highly recommend this location!

Myself and 2 friends got bloodwork done on the same day here. We all got a different Phlebotomists and we all had a good experience. The woman who assisted me was very gentle, kind, and professional. I got 11 tubes done and barely felt anything while she changes the tubes. I tend to get light headed and had to lay down for a bit afterwards, she was patient. The building is also cool, some of the rooms have a view of the mountains. Would definitely come here again!

Very disappointed today. I had made a reservation online. When I got to Sonoran I was told that I didnt make the reservation correctly because I didnt get a confirmation but I had the paperwork for the time and date.I was told to go to another Sonoran because this Sonoran on Scottsdale and Deer Valley did not take walk ins. The waiting room was completely empty, no one was there. They would not take me to get my blood draw, they made another apportionment for next week. Unbelievable. Wasted time and gas.

These folks are first rate - I would have made them a 5 Star facility except people who poke people with needles and ask them to pee in small containers cant by definition be 5 Stars but they are as close as it comes. I unfortunately have to visit here often and they are always very friendly and professional - even when they are jammed. I strongly suggest making a reservation as it aids appreciably then make one at a fine restaurant for that evening and reflect on your health over a good meal.

Waited 1 hr 24 mins for fasting labs never called even though I asked the unfriendly woman at the desk 3 times where I was on the list! Blood draw was for my fasting type one diabetic 9 year old son. The horrific woman at the desk kept saying 15-20 mins without even looking up from her computer. Will NEVER fo back!

Please get your bloodwork drawn elsewhere. The service I received here has me seriously questioning the qualifications of their staff.I traveled to AZ for vacation and also decided to have numerous lab tests performed as its not legal in my state of residence to self-order labs. I purchased several labs from a third-party site. Ive done this in the past with no issues. I usually go to LabCorp; however, some of the tests on the website I used were only available through Quest, so I decided to try them out this time. Big mistake!I arrive for my lab draw with no appt around 7:50 AM on a Monday morning. Quest opens at 8. Im met with a crowd of people and several staff waiting outside the door stating that theyre locked out and will hopefully be able to enter by 8:30 when a supervisor with a key shows up. Not a great way to start off the morning, especially when youre fasting and have to wait to take needed medication before you can even eat.Luckily, we didnt have to wait past 8:30 once the supervisor arrived and let us in. I was eventually seen and gave my lengthy lab order to the technician. When it was my turn for the draw, I was asking the phlebotomist about the draw requirements for vitamin B6, one of the tests I was having drawn. I double-checked to make sure it was going to be in a light-protected tube. She assured me that the sample would be protected from light. I had a small basket worth of tubes filled while the woman drawing my blood chatted to me about how shes been vegan for the past five years and left around 9:15, figuring all would be well and anxious to receive my results.Two days later, I received a call from the company from which I purchased the labs. Two tests I had paid for were not able to be used because they had not been drawn correctly, including the B6 test which I had *specifically* asked the phlebotomist about as I knew it had a special preparation. The second test was also of great importance. However, I received this news the morning I was leaving AZ and could not return to re-do the lab draw.I am seriously disappointed that this lab couldnt draw multiple labs I ordered correctly. Staff seemed more interested in making conversation with their head in the clouds than doing their job correctly. After this experience I will be returning to LabCorp and using them exclusively for any future lab draws.

Dont waste your time trying to call here. Maybe just make an appointment online because you absolutely *need* blood work/etc. done but other than that literally DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I cried out of frustration just trying to call and tell them I would be late and ended up missing my appointment. Awful experience. Wish there were more blood work services in the valley so I could avoid this place at all costs.

Make sure you get confirmation that your insurance covers any testing BEFORE the test, from both your insurance company and this outfit. Don’t be rushed until you’re sure. I was supposed to have coverage, but ended up stuck (pun intended) with $955 for one test! They agreed to take $687 which is the only reason they got even just one star.

The worst customer service ever, I have been calling the for about an hour and a half,,, I asked simple question if they have my lab order so I can go get it done ... each time i called they ask how can they help me when I asked them that, they don’t even ask me for my name they just say can you hold...?!! Each call they made me wait 8 to 13 minuets before hanging up on me without even getting back to me.If I could give you 0 Star I would , so unprofessional.. The fact this is in Scottsdale is SAD.

I don’t know how anyone could give this place a bad rating. This has to be one of the most efficient labs I’ve been to, twice now. Extremely friendly staff. Very happy to have this place close to my doctor, other labs have been far less pleasant.

I had given blood sample of my 1 year old baby and that was too hard to find his nerve they tried like three times and it was soo painful then after that they was able to get the blood samplesAnd the pathetic thing was that next day they called us and said blood was short and we need more don’t they even know how much blood required for the test .. after that we visited again and they was not able to get the bloodAnd they said us that with old blood sample we done some test but they have not send any reports to usNow after calling them soo many time they don’t have any information they don’t have any answerAnd then we email now we get to know that they had cancelled the all blood test that timeHow irresponsible you guys are -firstly you don’t know how much blood required .. secondly- you told us that you done with test ..
