Planned Parenthood - Seaside Health Center

Location is easy to find close to the DMV, parking is semi private so it feels safer. I set up an appointment online easily and the office was very communicative when confirming my appt and answering questions prior to my date. Literally just got my birth control implant out which was easy enough and the nurses where very nice and gave me a lot of information and options to make me feel comfortable. I just had to wait about 1.5 hours for my scheduled appt, most likely due to insurance stuff, but make sure to donate to a wonderful cause that helps the community with basic healthcare

I am so glad I came across Planned Parenthood on search engine & chose them for my surgical abortion. It was a very stressful time for me, I couldn’t find any appointments anywhere. Planned Parenthood had availability in seaside location. It was 2 hrs away from me but I still went ahead and booked it. I was very anxious about the whole procedure but upon arrival they went over everything and made me feel comfortable. The nurses kept asking me if I was feeling okay or if I had any questions. They explained each step in detail as there were multiple steps. The staff was very soft spoken and caring, which is so so important during this emotional time. Not only that, the staff was very professional also. They knew exactly what they were doing. I was a little hesitant as the google reviews are not good. I am so glad I chose Planned Parenthood. They took such good care of me. Thank you!

Today was my first time at planned parenthood and it was by far the best experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I showed up an hour early and they got me in within ten minutes. The staff were incredibly friendly, and my doctor was so attentive and kind. I felt extremely comfortably sharing all my concerns, and she patiently answered all my questions. I didnt feel rushed like I normally do at a doctors appointment, and it was honestly the first time I ever really felt listened to. I am just so impressed and so grateful for them! Thank you Planned Parenthood!

Arrived there at 1:30pm for my 1:50 appointment only to be told they have to cancel my appointment because the nurse had to leave the building. This is already the third time they reschedule my appointment. I appreciate a warning so I don’t have to waste my time and drive down here for the third only to be sent home again.

DO NOT GO HERE. After waiting in the lobby nearly an hour past my appointment time, I was taken into a room and told to undress and the doctor would be in within 10 minutes. After sitting on the exam table in paper clothes for 45 minutes, freezing my butt off, I got dressed and went to ask if I was going to be seen. I was told another 5-10 minutes. After another 13 (two HOURS after my appointment time), I left. I was treated inhumanely, and not one single person seemed to care.

The volunteer escorts at the front door are kind and welcoming (my favorites are the gentleman and his partner, usually there Friday morning ❤) and the service providers are friendly and helpful. Its unfortunate that clinician Jamie is no longer there, but Ive never had a bad experience at this location; just ignore the protesters.

When I was in college and uninsured and needed my annual check up, PP was there for me. They were able to do the necessary tests and take care of any prescriptions I needed. Unfortunately cuts in funding result in a reduced ability to see all the patients who need their services, which is why I donate today, to help the next uninsured person who needs a medical test and cant afford it.I only saw protestors outside once, on a weekend.

I had a phone appointment and never got a call after 45 mins from my appointment time. I called them and they said they’ll call me back. Never got a call so I made another appointment. Still no call after an hour and I can’t get through to anyone.

10 calls to get 1 appointment. Office Manager overworked. One provider for 3 clinics. Get more providers Alexis McGill Johnson.

I had a phone appointment at 3:30pm. They said they’d call me within 30 mins. I never got that call so I called them and they told me they’d call me in the next 15 to 20 mins. I never got that call. Horrible. Just horrible.

Great family planning womens health care center. Friendly caring staff, affordable.
