The care I received at AFC urgent care was much better than expected for an urgent care facilities that I have been to in the past. I was seen by a qualified NP and nursing staff that went above and beyond to care for laceration on my elbow and head. I received 10 stitches and 4 staples and instructions on how to care for my wounds until the stitches come out. The Staff were very helpful and were focused on my needs. I will definitely return to AFC urgent care in the future.

My experience yesterday was very good. The staff was professional and efficient. I had registered online before arriving. Once at the facility the entire visit took only about 1/2 hour. A prescription was sent to a local Walgreens. We were back on our vacation route in no time.

Out of four of the AFC Urgent cares I’ve visited with my two children, the Clemson location is by FAR my favorite. Rosemarie and Dr Barker were SO kind, patient, understanding and lighthearted with my sick 3 year old! They truly cared about everything, listened to him ramble and made sure every worry of mine was reassured! They weren’t rushing us out of the office, but made sure we were seen quickly and still made the most of the time we had together! I cannot rave enough about how wonderful the ladies we interacted with were!

First time here was for myself. Dr spent less than 2 mins in the room ran out and gave the nurse a prescription for me and disappeared. I advised the nurse I had questions, she answered as best she could and I still didn’t get the help I needed.Second visit for my son, thought maybe first time was just a random off day. Nurse barely acknowledged and straight up ignored me. Do not recommend.

Discern Parent: This was by far the worst experience I have had at any Healthcare facility from the moment we walked in the door. I came to visit for family weekend. My daughter (Clemson student) had a sudden nosebleed that last longer than it is recommended so we drove over to urgent care being traffic was horrible and it was the closest healthcare facility, hoping to get an ice pack and/ or be seen by a doctor/nurse to ensure it wasn’t something serious. To our surprise, we were told by the receptionist, without asking any questions, that they do not handle nosebleeds to go to the emergency room. I am not a nurse but I do expect for at least professional healthcare triage before being turned away. She didn’t know if the doctor/ nurse could have at least given some advice on how to stop a nosebleed. The receptionist acted as if she was a person off the street that was asked to come sit at the front desk. She wasn’t professional at all and acted as if she was timid to even open the window. The waiting area was clear.My complaint is if an urgent care can’t assist with a nosebleed then are they limited to common cold and allergies. I know the emergency room is for emergency but to me this was an urgent care issue, I could be wrong. My daughter and I proceeded to the restroom, wet paper towel with cold water, put it on her forehead, pinched her nose, sat down and the bleeding clotted and stopped. I hate that i didn’t get names at this client but I was frustrated and wanted the bleeding to stop. I was happy that I decided to google and assist my daughter on my own. Thanks google. Traffic was horrible and the nosebleed was scary so to get this kind of treatment at a healthcare facility knowing what was going on in the area (game and family weekend) was very disappointing. I am thankful that it wasn’t anything more serious. It was an eye opener and now I understand why the Emergency Rooms are crowded and overworked, I pray that this facility gets someone that wants to be there, more knowledgeable, and take time to triage prior to sending patients away. I hope not all the healthcare facilities in this area have this type of patient service and are have more patience and compassion for the people that seek medical attention. Especially being in a college town where you have students away from their parents for the first time. Again thank God our issue was just urgent and not life threatening. This is the Urgent Care near the Hartwell Signature Village apartments in Seneca.

I took my 89 year old mother there and the staff was very attentive to her. She has a hard time with the blood pressure machines and they were able to take it manually. They listened to my concerns and it turns out they were valid. They called in her prescription and it was the fastest pickup we ever had. Facilities were a little chilly but very clean.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The nurse was also great. Our doctor was funny and helped my child feel comfortable! We always come here because we never wait long & service is great. Fill out paperwork online before you come in & you will not wait longer than 15 minutes

There was hardly any wait, maybe 30 minutes; everyone was so nice from the time I walked in- receptionist, nurse, PA- ALL very professional and welcoming! I would highly recommend this practice. It was also very convenient with parking available.

I went to AFC yesterday.I was cared for by Stephanie and Dr.Josh who were wonderful! They were compassionate and very professional. They listened to my concerns. I was very happy with the appointment. I highly recommend this AFC in Clemson.* I had to come back again in July 2024 for terrible cough and upper respiratory issues. I got so lucky again with Dr. Michael Wechter and a wonderful staff from front desk check in, Dr. Wechter who listens, very professional, and great bedside manner. I’m very impressed with AFC Clemson and I highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you so much AFC Clemson for taking good care of me.

Today was my first time visiting this Urgent care. It will also be my last. The front desk receptionists were very rude. I was told I could wait in the car (Im not sure if I have covid, flu, strep, etc) and was sent a very helpful link to watch my place in line so that I would know when to come in. My spot never moved (I kept a close check) next thing I know Im completely kicked out of line. I walk in and ask politely if it was a glitch possibly and the receptionist rudely said she removed me, because she called my name and I didnt answer. Ummm maam we just had a whole conversation about me sitting in the car since it was so packed and me watching my place in line to know when to come in. My wait time wasnt an issue, I came in knowing its an urgent care, but the rude receptionist needs to go.

We are very pleased with how quickly we were seen. Also, the doctor was thorough and talked to us about what he believed would be the best treatment for Strep throat. The prescription was at the pharmacy by the time we got there and we were home in less than 2 hours from the time we arrived. That says a lot since we live in Mountain Rest! We trust the doctors and staff with our health and will return in the future when needed.

My visit to this urgent care in April for a persistent sore throat/cold left me very upset and dissatisfied with the services. Despite booking an appointment online and being seen relatively quickly, the medical attention I received was extremely minimal. They took my vitals and instructed me to purchase over-the-counter Mucinex D from a pharmacy. At the time of my visit, I was informed there would be no charge.However, two weeks later, I received a bill for over $150, even after my insurance had already covered around $200 of the costs. Confused by these fees for such a basic consultation, I called the urgent care. Their response was that it was on my insurance provider for not paying the full amount, absolving themselves of responsibility for these unethically high charges.No other urgent care facility Ive used has ever charged this much for doing so little. This clinics practices give the impression of being a money-making scheme rather than a provider of affordable healthcare.

I recently was bitten by a brown recluse spider. The staff and especially the lead doctor treating me did a fantastic job treating me. I cant say Ive ever had as much fun with a doctor while getting multiple injections and minor surgical procedures lol.

Came in feeling SICKKKK, turns out it was COVID. Usually I don’t write reviews but my care was so fantastic that I thought I’d hop on here and share my gratitude. Both Kristy A. and the rest of the clinical staff were extremely helpful, kind, and well equipped to help me in my time of need. Usually I try to avoid urgent care options but I would 1000% come back here again and again based on the care I received. I am feeling a lot better now, thank you!

My son showed up at 7:30pm with a treble hook in his leg from a fishing accident. They told him he would need to go to the ER because the doctor was with another patient. I get that they close at 8 but he then had to drive himself to the ER simply because the doctor didn’t want to stay past 8. That’s extremely poor judgement on a providers part‼️. I would never be seen by anyone at this clinic.

The phlebotomist were very nice and good considering my veins are hard to stick and the wait for the doctor was maybe 5 minutes max. In all I walk in with about 6 people in front of me and was still able to complete my visit within an hour.

Everyone on staff was so compassionate, from the front desk to the Nurse Practitioner (excellent btw). Other urgent care facilities could learn a lot from these people. I’m 72 and have been to many urgent care facilities and this one is top of the mountain. Bon Secour is blessed to have them.

Poor system with too much paperwork to fill out. Certain things that I felt were unnecessary for what is supposed to be a fast urgent checkup. I was sitting for over an hr waiting to be seen with only about 3 other people waiting.

The provider was knowledgeable, efficient and attentive to my issues.The nurse asked great questions, kept me informed and was very professional. She also gives an amazing shot, I never felt the needle.The medical assistant was friendly, welcoming and able to let me know what to expect. She awesome at being on the frontline and the first to get a patient settled and their concerns heard.I had an amazing experience! Honestly, Ive never had a bad experience at this location and I have visited pretty frequently over the last year for myself and several family members.If you need quick yet thorough medical attention, this is the place for you.

It was such a great experience. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and inviting. I brought 2 sick children there because their pediatrician had no availability. We were seen quickly and the staff took time to answer any questions and really make us feel confident in the care plan. I am very appreciative for the care they took, it helped ease some of the stress of 2 children with the flu.

I had to go to AFC twice in a little over a week. I’m a disabled vet and was able to use my VA benefits to cover everything which turned out to be a lot easier than I expected.The staff, from the receptionists to the doctors and nurses, were very polite and professional. I was able to make an appointment online for both appointments. The check-in process was quick and easy. I didn’t have to wait long in the exam room until the doctors came in and both doctors were efficient, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. I’ll definitely use AFC in the future. Thank you.

Awful customer service and disreguard for patients. My girlfriend and I went to Urgent care on monday because she was scared about a UTI or possible Bladder infection. They ran a sample and the result was negative for a UTI so they took the test and sent it out to a lab to get better results and said it would get back to them in 3 to 5 days. For the next three days she was in servere pain and even the medicine they recommended for the pain (AZO) stopped working by the second day. The third day rolls around and we still heard nothing so she tried calling Urgent care because the pain at this point was extremly bad and she needed to know whether or not she should go to the hospital since she has had past kidney complications and did not want to risk a bladder infection spreading to her kidneys. As she called she was met with clear annoyance but was told that they usually take 3 to 5 days for these tests to come back again but then told that they actually have had the medicine sent to the pharmacy. Once we got to the pharmacists we were informed that no medicine had been sent over. After another disappointing call to the doctor met with more annoyance by the person answering the phone we were told that the doctor had looked at the wrong charts and that she would recieve a call from him once the medicine arrived but they still would not inform her of what the actual issue was or what she would be taking the medicine for. Two hours later a text from the pharmacy would reveal that the medicine is ready for pick up but yet there was still no call from the doctor or no explaniation of what the issue was, so we called the office for the third time and as soon as the person answered the phone and heard the name of who was calling she sighed and hung up. This persons name was Loretta and clearly should not be working in the medical field for getting annoyed at someone who is just worried for their health. Throughtout this whole process my girlfriend was respectful and tried to remain calm and yet to be treated with such disrespect is ridiculous. We finally were able to speak to someone who was much more kind and gave her all the answers she needed. This whole experience was very unprofessional and we do not recommend going here.

Please be aware. They charge a $388.00 new patient fee right off the bat. My sick Clemson student could not get home to his doctor and went to AFC. He ended up getting a covid test, strep test and flu test, saw a doctor for under 5 minutes and was charged $845.00. We do have insurance and it was reduced to $337.00. I feel they take advantage of students.. I wish I had known before he went. We would have made other arrangements.

I went to AFC Urgent Care Clemson in March 2023 for an X-Ray and never received a single bill or email from them. This week, April 2024, over a year later, I received a call from a collections agency in regard to an overdue bill. This collections agency added interest to my bill due to the negligence of the AFC billing department never sending a bill to me. After multiple attempts at calling the AFC billing department, no one ever picked up. Do not go here or your credit will be negatively affected.

I went in with two moderate medical problems. I got to see a doctor after about 90 minutes, as there were a lot of patients in the lobby. Once I saw the doctor and nurse I was properly diagnosed and out the door in less than 30 minutes. Better than waiting three weeks for a visit to my primary care physician.

My daughter went to AFC Urgent Care to be treated for pink eye. They told her they couldnt process our insurance and charged her $200 for a very brief appointment. I have tried to call daily for the past week to have them reprocess the claim and nobody answers the phone nor do they provide any other way to reach the clinic for billing issues. Will ensure that she doesnt end up here again.

Went in without an appointment and was seen within 30 minutes, which was quicker than most urgent cares I’ve been too. After getting the basics examined, the doctor came in a lot quicker than I’ve ever experienced. He was super kind and answered all of my questions without making me feel dumb for not knowing them. I came for my TB testing. I waited almost 2 hours and then checked in to see what the problem was. I wasn’t even properly checked in by the staff and I was forgotten about. They quickly checked my arm, at the front desk, and had me sign off on the form. There definitely needs to be a better system implemented. I don’t mind waiting, but I do mind waiting when I’m forgotten about entirely and it took literally 30 seconds to have someone sign off my form.

The urgent care was packed but the staff went above and beyond to be kind and diagnose each patient quickly. I felt terrible but the wait was only two hours and with the amount of people that was great. They quickly gave my diagnosis and helped me and I came out quickly after going to my room. Walked in without an appointment and was seen very quickly. PA who saw me was very straightforward, knowledgeable, and respectful. Have had facial swelling and pain for days and she was able to tell it was a sinus infection right away. Would definitely recommend to students who need a quick check up.

Genuinely a rather negative experience, but Ill start by saying the two receptionists I dealt with were very kind. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes and paid $40 dollars to be told that they couldnt diagnose or treat me. I hit my head this morning and am experiencing mild concussion symptoms. By no means am I a doctor, but I have a background in medicine, which is why i found it alarming to hear that the doctor couldnt try to diagnose and treat me. It is absolutely a normal treatment done at most urgent cares, but the doctor and medical assistant insisted otherwise. I didnt get to speak to the doctor but the medical assistant was not kind to me, and seemed fraustrated I was questioning the process at all. I was simply hoping for prescriptions to help with the nausea and pain I was feeling, but the doctor wrongly decided to deny me even the consideration to help me feel better. They did not do right by me when I was unwell.-to clarify I was not looking for any imaging, just treatment of symptoms, which is absolutely something they are capable of, but they made the decision to send me away without any treatment.

My daughter and her boyfriend had a terrible experience here in early Dec. The wait was 2 hrs and my daughter was told she was out of network for her insurance and when I looked it up on my side that info was incorrect. Her boyfriend had flu like symptoms and he had been taking care of her and she just got over the flu. They did nothing for him and told him to take ibuprofen. The doctor looked at her throat and said she clearly had strep throat but the rapid came back negative so he never even came back into the room but the nurse just told her she could leave. Horrible experience!! They never filed her insurance so now I have had to make several calls to get the info I need to file it. Just because they are college students they should not be treated this way! I will advise them to never go back to this location.

This place has always been slow and lately the receptionists are not in formative and frankly got some attitude. I have a 4 yr old with a cut in the back of his head that may need stitches and have been waiting for almost 3 hours. When I asked if I could find out anything about how much longer Id wait the lady told me they have other patients and theres nothing she can do. Ive watched about 10 people that come in after us already called back. Ill just go to the ER next time. Lesson learned.

The least professional medical experience Ive ever had. Maybe I just dont understand the purpose of urgent care, but I feel a patient should never feel as though they are in the wrong simply for seeking medical guidance for an alarming medical condition. I went to this facility seeking guidance for a significant spike in my blood pressure, likely due to a kidney stone diagnosed at an ER the day before.I checked my blood pressure a few times that morning on a BP machine at the place where I am working. My blood pressure remained in the range of 170-179/115-120 throughout each test. Concerned about the significant spike in my blood pressure in the past 24 hours, I chose AFC Urgent Care Clemson because of its close proximity to where I was working.I explained my whole situation to each person I encountered. The receptionist, who informed me that she wasnt sure if they handled high blood pressure cases. But once she asked the doctor and he agreed to see me, she had me fill out the patient paperwork. (To make one thing clear, both receptionists were very polite & helpful)Once called back, the nurse questioned why Id come there for high blood pressure, so I again explained my situation, then the receptionist assured her that the doctor agreed to see me. She took me to the exam room, taking my weight & height along the way. Once in the exam room, she took my BP on my left arm, and saw that it was as high has the numbers I was getting earlier in the day. She then tested my right arm, and the numbers dropped slightly. She mentioned that those numbers were high, then left the room with no other discussion.Once the doctor finally came in, I immediately felt a sense of annoyance in his demeanor. The first thing he asked, was what he could do for me? As though he had absolutely no information about me or why I was there. So I again told my full story. He then said didnt they tell you up front we dont deal with high blood pressure. Then he finally asked if I was in any pain from the kidney stone. And when I said no, he replied well, what do you want from me? I said, my blood pressure has never spiked so high like this so Im just seeking guidance with what I though was a serious medical condition. He asked how old I was. I said 44. And he replied youve never been 44 before either. He then suggested I purchase a quality home BP cuff, take my blood pressure few times a week, then report the results to my personal physician if it remains high...which was certainly the most professional part of my encounter with him. He seemed very short & curt with his responses, then told me to continue to sit there as he left the room.I then could hear the doctor talking to the nurse who took my blood pressure earlier, outside the room. Once she mentioned what my numbers were from the tests she did on me, he sent her back into the room to do my BP one more time, this time with the manual blood pressure cuff & pressure gage. The numbers were slightly lower than before, but still high. Again, there was no further discussion, comments or questions, she just left the room. Never once was I asked by anyone if I had any other symptoms, like a headache, numbness, chest tightness, disorientation or anything else of concern. The last person that came into the room, gave me my discharge paper, which was the most informative part of my visit, then showed me the exit.I dont know if they seemed to be so short, dismissive & annoyed by me because they thought I was there with some sort of shady intentions, or because I am an out-of-state patient, or just felt I was wasting their time? Regardless, I felt like I should have been treated in a more professional manner.I REVISIT MY REVIEWS OCCASIONALLY, TO SEE IF MAYBE I WROTE MY REVIEW OUT OF FRUSTRATION. I STICK BY MY EXPERIENCE. ONE THING I DID REALIZE, IT THAT URGENT CARES ARE SEEN BY SOME HOSPITAL PROS AS A MONEY GRAB.HOWEVER, THEY ARE FANTASTIC FOR NON-EMERGENCY ILLNESSES, WORK INJURIES & ILLNESS, AND ALL OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE.

Someone recommended AFC Urgent Care Clemson to me. She was right. My son was treated with compassion and great care. I checked in online and we were there less than 30 min. This place wasted an hour and a half of my time. Came in with a severely injured ankle wanting an X-ray at 12:30 and was told at 1:56 the X-ray tech turned off the machine and was leaving at 2:00. Like why not see me before then or tell me that before I waited around an hour and a half in pain?

This place is MISERABLE. We went in at 3:50, waited until 6:10 for them to just take a covid test, give the result and let the patient go without any medication.They told us they’ll issue medication after 5 days and analyzing the test. The most ridiculous thing about this place is there were around 20 patients in and they kept the temperature at 66! After complaining, they say we have no control over it!We got worse after 4 hours of shivering in the cold just to hear a name and send the patient home without any medication.Disrespectful, useless, waste of time!

I had a pretty good experience. I forgot my insurance card at home and was able to email them a picture. I did have a wait a tad bit longer than I expected and the person who brought me to the room seemed new or inexperienced but the doctor came in quickly and she was awesome at checking me out making her recommendations and sending my prescription through to my pharmacy promptly!

The worse experience I was told to take my son here today because he couldn’t see his doctor made his appt went a little early because it said once you get to 5 in line show up. Well once my son signed in they told him he still had 2hrs appt was at 2:46 and after he filled his paperwork out sat down. The front desk ppl called him up laughing ( idk what was funny) but said you may be having a heart attack we don’t have the proper stuff here to check and if you was vomiting also you need to go to another urgent care or go to the ER plus we are about to close for the holidays. But you just told him he had a 2hr wait. I will never schedule another appointment with them and if I wasn’t out out town I would’ve brought him in myself but I thought a 18yr old could handle this and get proper care. A normal office if someone was having chest pains would’ve called an ambulance if they thought it was something bad.

We called ahead, driving from Salem, to make sure they would be open in order to see my 2 year old daughter who was very ill. They said they would be able to see her at the time we said we would arrive. We were there before closing, and they had us fill out paper work as if we were going to be the last patients of the night. All of a sudden, after filling out paperwork, they just simply said the doctor was not seeing any more patients and he was going home. Basically get out. It was aggravating to say the least. They did not even check my daughter’s vitals to ensure she was stable, or offer any suggestions if she wanted to be seen somewhere else. I could have easily taken her to another urgent care in the area that closed at the same time but we relied on their assurance that she could be seen. Very unprofessional. They offered to make her an appointment for the morning, when they could have easily said that over the phone. I don’t understand why you don’t just close at 7:30pm if you don’t plan to see patients after then. Also they don’t do any tests after then, so they can’t really help you. We didn’t really get a genuine apology and again it would have been great for a nurse to just ensure that our toddler was okay and did not need immediate care. They even do this at the veterinary hospitals… I wouldn’t trust this place.

Went in for a strep test. Was seen quickly and staff was pretty friendly. Had the step test administered, but they didn’t have the machine turned on right, so they had to swab my throat again. Not the most pleasant experience, but I’m understanding. It was negative. They didn’t offer any other tests or solutions. Told me to take Tylenol and swabbed me again to be sent off to the lab for a culture test. Was told I would hear in 3-4 days if that was positive - never heard anything either way. No results were sent to me by email, phone, or text. I just got the $75 lab bill for that. Was an expensive $211 bill for this visit.Not one to complain much, but this is the second expensive bill we’ve had here with no prodding into our symptoms or major help. Would definitely wait to see your PCP (which I would’ve, but I was in so much discomfort on a Sunday morning this was my only option).

Dr. Larson had excellent bedside manner, and displayed a welcome professionalism. Took my wife in for possible sinus infection. After paperwork was completed it was no more than 15 minutes the nurse called her in. After initial weight etc. the doctor came in and was very thorough. Prescription was called in and we were on our way back home. Staff and doctor were great. In an out within an hour. We highly recommend this Urgent Care.

The woman we saw (her last name started with a Y) was friendly, patient, and she interacted well with my kids. Even when it was painful, my daughter was still at ease with the provider. The wait was excruciating over an hour with a very sick 12yr old laying beside me. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT for 130pm and checked in at 131pm and was finally brought back at 240, discharged at 305pm. The Dr said Ive never seen this before about white bumps on my sons back of his tongue and didnt try to set my sons mind at ease, just gave him antibiotic, thankful for that though. My son is Worth the Wait to see a Dr but not for this kind of complete disregard for ones time. They could have let us know we were looking at a long wait. Wont go back for my son or myself (Ive visited once before with similar experience but not THIS bad).It would have been different if one single staff member would have acknowledged the wretched wait time. I approached the desk at 235pm and all they said was, wheres (sons name)s chart and itll be soon no bedside manner, no compassion just business as usual here. Were not patients or people, were just numbers waiting in an office annoyed by our presence (office was FULL). LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO SIT IN AN OFFICE FOR 3HRS for less than decent service by staff members.

I went here last night for a sore throat after being diagnosed with Covid. This man is narcissistic and lacks empathy for his patients. He did absolutely nothing for me. He talked over me, didn’t listen to why I was there, and I don’t know why afc hasn’t fired him yet. He does not know how to talk to patients and was the rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered in my life. He completely wasted my time and my co pay was a waste of money. I will not be giving any more money to this place no matter if I get billed co insurance or not. This doctor doesn’t deserve any of my money and I don’t care if the bill goes into collections. So I have been having knee pain for a couple weeks with times I could not bend my knee or put any weight on it. I decided to go in to have it looked at. Once I got there I told the lady at the desk that I have knee issues and would like to have the dr. check it out. I paid $136.00 for the visit before they would even talk to me, which is fine. I get called back and I wait for the dr. to come in and look at my knee and see what could be done. Well, he came in and asked what was going on. Before I could finish telling him my issues with my knee he started talking over me and told me there is nothing he could do for knee pain. I did not even get a chance to tell him what was wrong with it yet by the way. So he finally let me finish explaining what is happening and again he says theres nothing i can do here but prescribe you some arthritis medicine and give you a referal to a knee dr. So then I asked if I could get a steroid shot in my knee like I have gotten in the past and he tells me that they are not able to give shots in joints. Its crazy that a DOCTOR cant give an injection in my knee. It seems like to me, you or your staff should have told me that there is nothing you could do for knee pain before you took my $136.00. I basically paid you for a prescription for Ibuprofen. The dr never looked at my knee or offered an exray. This place is a scam office for anything not an illness. Your website says it can handle minor injuries. I really feel I should be refunded my money since you did not help me. I didnt even receive the prescription for arthritis nor the referral he offered me. The staff was polite and courteous but the dr. had better things to do than have to listen to me!Oh, he did give me some exercises to do, but wait, I CANT BEND MY KNEE!!!!

My daughter was having what we thought was an asthma attack & was having difficulty breathing. They got her right in & they treated her like she was one of their own children. I had a lady come in to my office for a medical reason (she already had an appointment with AFC of Clemson prior to her interaction with me) I was double checking that she did have something stuck in her ear so I did advise her to keep her AFC appointment because I am not a medical provider and she was not my patient. My office was called by Megan and blasted for “referring patients”. I have referred hundreds of patients to this office over the past 2 years because I thought they had other medical providers/professionals besides Dr. Suits but apparently that is not the case. I will never send another person there again. I am grateful to Dr. Suits and his team for always being professional and kind to all of my referrals but I will find other resources for my patients because I do indeed ALWAYS try to help my patients in the best way possible.

Was the first patient on a Sat morning. They definitely were not quite ready to see patients and were walking in the same time as me. Just seems like if they open at 8 they should be there maybe at least 7:45? Or maybe refill everything the night before? Front office staff seemed frazzled- no hand sanitizer (empty) mask box was empty… waited to check in while staff clocked in for the day… I was feeling concerned about the lack of professionalism. But I have to say the Dr was lovely more mature and professional than the office staff. Very kind and sympathetic to the fact that I felt so miserable. It’s been 3 days and my symptoms are improving. The Communication was unsatisfactory. I had to spend over 3 hours on a prescription that could not be filled for my daughter. When coming in the next day the receptionist did not even try to resolve the issue or read any notes that were left . A whole day later and we ended up back where we started and a whole new visit . I would recommend making an appointment elsewhere in Clemson if possible. Doctor was immediate to test for covid, then quickly dismissed with a recommendation to drink fluids when the covid test result was negative. I was disappointed and frustrated considering the symptoms leading to my making an appointment were not addressed and were not covid related.I did call to speak with a supervisor and was told my experience is common. I was provided the name of a highly recommended private practice physician that the staff suggest making an appointment with.

The whole visit was some bull. First, despite scheduling an appointment, I was in the waiting for an hour+ because the receptionist who checked me in didnt mark that I was ready. If I had not asked if I missed my name getting called I wouldve never been called back. Then once they got me in the room, the nurse who took my vitals said that my blood pressure was high to the point where she ran it three times. Left me for the doctor to come in and.... They forgot about me again! 30+ minutes later if I hadnt said something I would still be sitting in that room. When the doctor came in, he clearly did not look at my chart at all, didnt address my blood pressure at all, didnt allow be to advise of all my symptoms without talking over me/cutting me off, barely looked over me to check out the symptoms I did advise of and sent me on my way with a resolution I could have stayed in my bed for. I basically diagnosed myself. I was there for 2+ hours total to be seen all of 5 minutes by the doctor including him writing a script for something I was already taking for my symptoms (something I got OTC). Needless to say I will NEVER go to this place again unless Im dying and have no other option not will I recommend anyone else to come here.

Went to Urgent Care for hives that lasted over 3 days and a cough. No testing. The doctors advice was MEDITATE AND PRAY and a $150 bill that is told that I have to pay. They already received $156 from my insurance for this bs. I went to this facility based off the Google reviews. I would think twice before going. I gave them 4 months to make this right. Getting an appointment is a royal pain. They advertise they take walk ins, but that is not true. Once I got an appointment, the healthcare professional was very good. She was attentive, listened, and took very good care of me. If you are going to use them, you need to go online and book an appointment. The staff is friendly and the wait wasn’t very long during my visit. My issue with this facility is billing. My insurance paid around $300.00 of my $477.00 Dr visit (expensive). The remainder $158.00 was charged to me and billed to the wrong address. The collection agency in which AFC turn my bill over to got in touch with me by phone 8 months later. This cost me an addition $15 buck and a lot of hassle to pay these guys off. Because of this error on their (AFC) part, and not reaching out to me for payment- I plan not return to this facility unless I’m near death. Thanks for the place to share.

This was by far my best experience at an urgent care facility! The facility was new and very clean with a nice large waiting room. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were super nice and efficient. Even though they were busy, my wait time was really short. The treatment I received for my laceration was top notch. There were several other people that were ultimately turned away. Why allow appointments to be booked and post hours on your door if they dont matter? The receptionist, nurses and doctor that attended to us were very helpful. My daughter was throwing up in the waiting room and the receptionist came and gave her a bag to use instead of the grocery bag I was using. The receptionist picked up the clipboard that fell and offered to hold it at her desk till I was ready for it. The nurse came with an alternative bag that my daughter could hold to her mouth. She offered to clean up after my daughter even when I told her that I could take care of it. Highly recommend AFC Seneca/Clemson. Thank you!!

This place is a freaking Joke I came in for a quick a simple drug screen for a new Job when I arrive at my appointment time there was one other person in the waiting room. A few minutes later I was the only person in the waiting room and for the next 2 hours I was left sitting in the waiting room while instead of taking care of there appointments they turned there focus to large groups of people that were pulling up outside the building for covid testing while I was left waiting over 2 hours in there lobby just to pee in a cup. If you cant respect the schedule and times that you have already made with patients dont take on more and continue to forget about the people that you have had waiting for hours past there own appointment time that you gave them especially for something as quick and simple as peeing in a cup!!!!

Came in clearly unable to walk and in pain, still took them over an hour to look at my knee injury. Once I get back, it took the doctor over 20 minutes to make it to the room, then another 15 mins to get an x-ray. Went to the ER, which is where they sent me, after and got the same work done so overall the 2 hours I spent there were worthless, much like the service I received.

This urgent care was quite easy to get an appointment with, and I was almost immediately taken back when I got there. However, the doctor that I saw was quite rude and would hardly let me get a word in. I left in tears, still in extreme pain and feeling like I had not been adequately assessed and treated. I have had pleasant experiences here in the past but I can’t say that I will be returning.

I go out and ask what’s going on, there are two people standing around talking, the dr walks by and says that she’s coming in a second. Another 5-10 mins she comes in and does a 2 minute exam. People were nice started dot physical with a nurse practitioner my bp was high was told to come back in a few days for bp check. Went back and the nurse practitioner was not there and was not there the three other times I went over the next two weeks no one but her could finish it so I had to pay again and start over. Didn’t think I should’ve had to pay again so I don’t think I will use them again

This business is really poor. Went in with gallbladder issues 6/1/23. Dr. said I needed imaging at Mt. View Imaging in Seneca and the business never sent the referral. Followed up the following Monday and Tuesday and there was a sign saying “Closed due to Short staffing. Weren’t answering phones or doing any follow up. Thank God Mt. View worked with me. They are great. There is nothing reliable about their Healthcare. Beware. You can’t count on them being there.

I was able to fill out the paperwork on line, thus saving time. My appointment was for 7:15 in the evening, but I was told to come in earlier if I needed to and would be worked in. I did and I was. I was in and out with the medication I needed in less than an hour. The NP that I saw was very efficient and helpful.

Went there with flu-like symptoms. All they did was take my temperature and give me a flu test. When it came back negative they told me to have a nice day. They never listened to my chest or checked my ears, nose or throat. Two days later I became extremely sick and went to a real doctor. Turns out I had a sinus infection that turned into Bronchitis. Extremely unprofessional by their part and won’t be coming back.

By far the best urgent care I’ve been to. All of the staff was wonderful! They were patient, caring and kind. I never once felt judged because I had to translate for my mother that doesn’t speak a lot of English! I will recommend this office to anyone wanting/needing care. My family and I will definitely be coming here in the future if needed. Also, we didn’t have to wait a long time. We were in and out within 45 min or so. I wish other offices were like this! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean waiting room and clean examination rooms. I saw PA Kristina who has an excellent bedside manner. She took her time explaining everything and kindly referred me to a specialist. Nobody likes going to the doctor but at least they made me feel comfortable and treated me well. I can’t say anything good about our experience yesterday other than the wait time was short. The Dr. was rude, he addressed only one concern, he manufactured a blood pressure for her instead of taking it. His beside manner was terrible, and he said people over 35 don’t get strep. How dumb. He was awful and very unhelpful. He addressed the possible strep, but not the two seizures he was told about. I wish that guy on now one. I’m very unsatisfied and hope to speak with his supervisor soon.

I took my 1 year old daughter on Sunday 1-16-23 to AFC Urgent Care. My main issue was that the nurse/doctor did not even take her temperature. We waited an hour for them to say it was “viral” and they couldn’t do anything. The doctor was in the room for less than 2 minutes. Very disappointed they didn’t test her for strep throat or flu.

Im not one to leave reviews, however, AFC clemson was listed as an option for a pre-employment routine drug screening with no appointment needed by my employer. I came in half an hour before the listed closing time, there were two other people in the lobby waiting and as soon as I walked in the receptionist was extremely rude. She told me I needed to hurry up and I was so surprised by the unnecessary attitude that I tried to joke a bit and asked if they had a rough day, to which she responded no, Im just ready to leave which I mean, fair, but what if I needed.. idk, say urgent care?? Isnt that the point? The second person who performed the test was slightly nicer, but overall I would never recommend this location to anyone if that is the acceptable way to interact with patients. I was polite and friendly as possible and it was unnerving to be greeted with such hostility out of nowhere. If there wasnt enough time for me to be seen simply tell me to come at another time. 0/10.

I was seen by a PA the morning of 4/30 and prescribed antibiotics. On 5/2, symptoms werent improving, so I called and left a voicemail shortly after they opened to make sure a different antibiotic didnt need to be prescribed. I didnt hear back, so I called later in the day and left another voicemail. Its 5/3. STILL no return call and my symptoms still arent greatly improving. Wont ever go back to this place if I can help it.

Brought my daughter here at 10:30 and wait 3 1/2 hours to be seen. Once Brought back waited another 10 to 15 minutes. The NP was great but the wait time horrible. Why does the urgent care take appointments? It makes more sense to just take walk ins and do first come first serve instead of this system.

I was sick and had to do a virtual visit which I had never done. It was different but, good the lady doctor that saw me was really nice and gave me medicine that I needed to get over coughing and feeling terribly. I also had to go back and do a COVID test it was super quick and I got my negative results in 30 minutes. I wish they would have done it when I was there the first time but, it didn’t hurt to drive back down. You cannot go in if you are coughing fever etc. so be prepared to go home to do a virtual visit. All In all I’m well now and feeling much better and thank them for being a quick way to see someone about my issues.

Being a procrastinator and not wanting to travel to my primary care provider out of my locality, I opted to utilize AFC . Reception and medical staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional.The doctor was very welcoming and attentive to my medical concern. Within 20 minutes, he diagnosed my condition and provided a surgical referral.This medical facility was over the top with all aspects.( Helpful Hint: This is no reflection on AFC, however , if you book your appointment and check in online through the app, you may receive an automated response that you are checked in. It inadvertently never registered with reception, so please advise staff of your arrival as well.)

The doctor was very much a matter of fact saying “you have COVID, what do you want me to do?” No bedside manner. He came across like I should’ve stayed home. I told him I wanted to get on the Plaxovid and know how long I should be quarantined. As he started talking extremely fast, he tells me about quarantine but then assumes I’m there for a work excuse (I’m self-employed) and assumes I have diabetes. I did not feel taken care of by the doctor at all! The rest of the nursing staff was excellent!

I’m going to start this off by saying I NEVER write reviews but this was necessary. I made an appointment here because first off, I recently moved here and don’t have a primary care physician since I’m new to the area so this felt perfect, and also to get my shoulder looked at due to it being dislocated and relocated (by self) and I’ve been in severe pain since. Figured they could look at it and give me a direction of where to go from there. Dr. Steven Suits completely wrote off the fact that it was dislocated and told me I have a muscle strain and prescribed me muscle relaxers saying it was just tense. My appointment was at 9 and I left at 9:05, it’s not like it was busy either, he just wanted me out. They also gave me a sheet that says neck and shoulder exercises but it only has neck exercises on it. Nothing to do with the shoulders at all. I didn’t even feel like I was being heard and it felt like they were trying to rush me out of their office because it wasn’t urgent enough for them. On top of all of it I get to the pharmacy and they didn’t even send my prescription over. The only good part of my visit was the nurse before who was super nice and caring. I wouldn’t recommend coming here though.

I visited first thing on a Monday morning and had a great experience. The facility is only one month old and was very clean, well appointed, and well staffed. Everyone was friendly from the receptionist, to the X-ray tech to the Physicians Assistant. I didnt wait long at all, and got exceptional care. I would highly recommend them!

Great experience. Was able to make appointment online. Arrived 20 minutes early and only 1 other person in waiting room. Was taken in on time, seen by a doctor and out in 30 minutes. The facility was very clean and precautions were taken to keep everyone safe and protected. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Clemson.

The receptionist was very nice, the cost was kinda expensive for just a urine test. But when I finally saw the doctor, he kept interrupting me and would not let me finish talking and explain how I was feeling. It was very annoying and I felt like he was just trying to rush me out so that he could get to other patients. Like I didn’t want to be there just as much as he made it seem like he didn’t want me there as well.

My daughter went for a sick visit and waited 3 hours after her appointment time. A few days later she was still sick and called back to speak to a nurse. They told her that she would have to come back in and wait 3 more hours. They told her that she had to have a Covid test when the complaint that she had was an ear ache with no covid symptoms. They would not even look at her ears before charging us for a Covid test and a strep test. They gave her cough syrup for an ear ache. Don’t waste your time and/or money with this place!!

Doctor was very friendly.However, I was supposed to get the 3-5 day result they made a mistake and did the rapid testing that my insurance does not cover and basically said there wasnt anything they could do. Then I cant access my results that are needed for my daughter to return to school because they never sent an email out to set patient portal up and after speaking with staff 3xs they actually dont know how to send a reset portal email and I have to get a print out in person which is 30 minutes away from me....be careful.

AFC left the “care” out of “healthcare”. I made an appointment online but waited 70 additional minutes to be seen. The PA I saw was incredibly curt and rude, and only spent 90 seconds evaluating me. She said that while I would need further treatment, they were already closed and would not offer the services I needed, even though I’d been there 2 hours by that point. Needless to say I will not be returning and am extremely disappointed and hurt by my visit.

I would give less than one star if that was an option. My daughter is a freshman at CU. She was very sick (with strep throat which she suspected) and sought care here. She arrived 1.5 hours before the posted closing time with a fever and in tears, there was one person in the waiting room and she was turned away. Shame on this urgent care facility in a college town for turning away a sick young lady in need of medical care.

If I could give them 10000 stars I certainly would!! Sliced the top of my foot open & needed stitches. Savannah checked me in, made sure I got back into a room quickly & was super kind. Alice was my nurse & she was the absolute BEST! Calmed me completely down & put me at ease with her kind spirit all while making me snort laugh.lol Chrissi was my Dr (hope my spelling is correct) & explained everything she was doing in detail all while reassuring me & making me feel secure that I would be just fine. Tracy took my vitals & made sure I was comfy while I waited as well. My overall experience was the BEST EVER & if I ever need emergency care I will def be going back there. I visited here about a month ago. The staff up front took down my information, and they were kind. I was sent back to a room pretty quickly. My nurse was very nice, also. I waited about an hour to see the doctor, which isn’t horrible. They were busy doing COVID tests, I could tell. He talked to me for about 2 minutes, asked me maybe one question about my symptoms, and that was it. He said I would get a call when the lab work he had to send off came back. That was fine with me. I was then forgotten about, I waited a whole hour again and I was the one who had to leave the room and ask what was going on. They had forgotten I was there, and I waited a whole hour thinking they were going to come back in and tell me anything, when the lab work would come back, when I would get medication, etc. But, nothing. I was told I could go, so I left. Fast forward a month later, I never received a call about my lab work. I had to call them, and it took about two minutes for them to tell me the results. I never received treatment for this. This place is a waste of time and money if you don’t have insurance. Do not recommend unless you’re getting a COVID test done, because with those they are fast and it’s easy.

I have never written an online review before but I was treated so rudely by the receptionist at this office that I felt a need to do it. She was short, rude and not helpful at all. When asking questions about online registration she repeatedly told me I’d done it wrong. But when I showed her the screen on my phone and asked her to point out the error, as I could find none, she just kept saying the same thing, without even looking up. She finally said, in a nasty tone of voice, that she’d just have to do what she could to put me in to be seen, without an address, even though she had a photo of my driver’s license with my address clearly printed on it! Acting so put out by doing her job!I waited awhile, then asked the next receptionist if she could give me an estimate of how long the wait was. She checked and there was no record of me at all, so I wasn’t even in line to be seen! So, I finally left.I’ve rarely encountered such rude customer service and never in a medical office. People come for help and get nothing but aggravation!!If the first person you encounter is so rude and unwilling to offer assistance it does not instill confidence in the medical professionals within the office!Not to mention, not one person behind the desk had masks on. Surprising for a medical office dealing with the public.Biggest waste of two hours of time!** I do need to add that today, Lisa, from AFC, called me to respond to my negative review, while I was at an Anmed Urgent Care, where I was being treated well.Lisa was polite, professional and concerned. She seemed to truly want to remedy the situation. I was impressed by the follow up call. I stressed the fact that the 2nd receptionist I dealt with was better than the first one and probably would have helped me but by the time I talked to her, it was my 4th trip to the window and I was too frustrated to stay.I do hope that they can deal with the staff person who was so offensive and that future patients will not walk out, like I did.

Editing a previous one star review.Jeffrey Harris MD saved the day. Lisa as well. Tremendous effort to resolve a bad experience. It was handled efficiently and professionally. Dr. Harris diagnosed the issue that I’m most likely dealing with, even suggested doctors, so that I can now address it when I see my PCP. Dr. Harris went above and beyond to help me today and I couldn’t be more pleased with my care. This is a tremendously well run business. Thank you Dr. Harris, and those who took this seriously immediately. Even the peace of mind of knowing why I’m feeling bad is helpful. You certainly deserve 5 stars for how this was handled. I never leave reviews. That being said, my telehealth appointment was an absolute waste of time and money. I was having severe sinus symptoms for several days and knew I was experiencing a sinus infection. I have a history of getting them 8 times a year before having nose surgery, so I know what they feel like and look like for me. I had a covid test the day before and it was negative, so the doctor said “well what do you want us to do for you then?” I ended up being fit in with my primary doctor the next day and she was able to get me the necessary antibiotics and nasal spray. The doctor here made me feel like an inconvenience.

I am grateful for the care I received during my vacation. I was given antibiotics and started feeling better. However, tests were done that wasn’t needed and a urine culture was supposedly sent off and I was told that they would call with results in 3-4 days. Almost 2 weeks later and after phone calls and emails, I still haven’t heard what those results are.

It was 7:15pm when my daughters ear started hurting so bad. It was Christmas Eve Eve and AFC closed at 8 that night. How far a drive is it? Exactly 45 mins. Not to mention we were form out of town. So I take my screaming child on a quick drive only to get to AFC right as they were closing. The front staff and drs happily accepted us, checked us in very quickly and got us a prescription for amoxicillin. They even gave us a paper script just in case the pharmacy was out of meds. Every step of the way I was greeted with kindness. Dr. Meg was so sweet to my 5 year old daughter and made us feel comfortable and welcome. I’d highly recommend AFC to anyone. Thank you!

I can’t believe how expensive this clinic is! $75 for a COVID test. If they had warned me ahead of time I would have bought my own at Walmart for a fraction of the price.I took my son because he had a lingering sore throat and I wanted him tested for strep. The quick test came back negative so they gave him a COVID test because you know everything is COVID these days. *ridiculous*. That was negative as well. I left there paying a $250 bill! If that wasn’t high enough, a few weeks later I got another $75 bill in the mail for the other strep test they mailed out. They could have warned me that I’d be getting another bill. For the initial price I paid, the other test should have been included. We don’t go to the doctor very often so maybe I’m just very out of date as far as pricing goes but I will never go back to this place. I also don’t like how they charge you up front. What if the patient changes his or her mind inside? The payment should be taken after the appointment according to what happened at the appointment.I will say the doctor was very nice. An older man who was very good with my kids. The only thing I didn’t care for was him telling my son that he needed a haircut. That’s none of his business but I suppose that’s just his generation.All in all, we will try another clinic next time we need one. Or the ER. That may actually be cheaper!

0/5. Was there for 3hrs after my nurse practitioner at work told me to go to an urgent care for CBC and ultrasound. The doctors and nurses didn’t listen to what I was saying and just prescribed nausea medication and told to drink fluids when I was presenting with symptoms of a GI bleed/stomach ulcer. I got neither the CBC or the ultrasound and ended up in the ER the next day. Disgusting healthcare here.

This Clinic is amazing. My family and I just moved here in July and have had to use the clinic a few times and every time It has been a great experience. Starting with the front desk staff, Angie is great and then the Doctor is very nice, funny and thorough. We have always been taken care of in a timely fashion and very professional staff.
