My experience with Britt Haus has been nothing short of transformative. I started out as a patient and quickly realized that Britt Haus is far deeper than simply doctor visits. I found genuine support under the care of Dr Skattum that was unlike any experience Id ever had with a doctor in the past. Dr Skattum is so incredibly knowledgeable about not only traditional western medicine, but functional medicine as well. I would also consider her to be a therapist (although technically, thats not her main asset), shes the whole package in my opinion. During my first visit with Dr Skattum, she said something that really stuck with me, and solidified that I was truly meant to be there. She told me that she was my new best friend with a medical degree. At this point, Id spent a couple of years doing my own research about holistic wellbeing, but never truly knew if the information I was consuming was accurate. Having someone that I could truly trust with my health took such a weight off my shoulders and provided reassurance for me. After seeing Dr Skattum for a couple of months, she offered me a job having no idea that I had just quit my previous job with no plan of what I was going to do next. It all happened so perfectly. Ive worked here for about 5 months now, and have had the privilege of experiencing firsthand the dedication and warmth that defines Britt Haus. Ive come to realize that Haus isnt just a name- its a feeling of home, and a sense of family. Im so grateful for the opportunity to be apart of something so remarkable and life-changing for many.
