I recently visited Vermont gynecology, and I cant recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Thompson took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thorough explanations, making me feel valued as a patient. Dr. Ryan Albertson is amazing as well. The office itself was clean and well-organized, with minimal wait time. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I left feeling confident in the care I received. Front desk staff goes above and beyond to get all your medical needs met. Every single one of the nurses is so caring, I can’t recommend them enough!

Rebecca Montgomery is the SWEETEST. I have extreme anxiety around doctors in general but she puts me at ease every time. Her staff is also professional and easy to work with.

I just had a mixed experience with Dr. Rebecca Montgomery. She did awesome in providing me things to help me relax for an iud insertion like a heating pad and lavender oil. She explained the procedure step by step, which I appreciated a lot. But there was a problem with a consent form and not getting the information I needed about the medication prescribed before getting asked to sign a consent form.

It’s actually with sincere gratitude that I think back on my poor care here. Because they made me feel like such an irritant, I kept looking for care and ended up with an interesting mix of practitioners and a working theory about what’s been wrong for so long. Because they didn’t listen to me that I needed the brand-name medication and never got back to me about it, eight weeks later I ended up in hormonal free-fall, which let us test that theory. Because they were unable to draw blood, even after three attempt on my easy veins, I got a blood sample during that free fall and could therefore rule out some other options. One hour after telling my current doctor that I needed the brand-name medication, it was ready to pick up at the pharmacy and my week of hell eased. So there’s the silver lining.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with Julie Thompson at Vermont Gynecology. Initially referred by another physician, Im profoundly grateful for their recommendation, as I truly believe that the care Ive received there has been instrumental in preserving my life. The compassionate and attentive women at Vermont Gynecology have consistently prioritized my well-being, and I cannot envision entrusting my health to any other place.

I have never encountered such a thoughtful and caring group of professionals. I am very lucky to have found this place, after my previous obgyn practice closed. They are understanding and put women first, where other places may be lacking or discouraging.I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I went here a while ago to get some help with my period pain. Later on I was put on some medication to help or the endometriosis that I had. After a while I was prescribed the Depo Shot I took it for 6 months and I was going in one day to my appointment for the shot. At this point my co workers and friends and family gave me the courage to speak to the nurse that was going to give me the shot about the side effects I was going through. I told her the side effect that I was having. She chose to not listen to me and gave me attitude. She then encouraged me to take the shot because I was going to get charged for the appointment anyway so me backing out was a waste of this nurses time. Sadly I had to stop seeing my doctor because of this nurse. Overall the doctors are great just be cautious with some of the nurses

Dr. Boyman and her staff are kind, friendly, respectful and compassionate. My questions were thoroughly answered and my concerns regarding my transition were put at ease in Kyms office. She and her nurses collaborated with the other practitioners on my team expeditiously and thoroughly. I would definitely recommend VT Gyno for supportive gender-affirming care.

They dont listen to you and your concerns. Definitely think they are the experts on your body and needs, even if youve had a chronic condition for 5+ years. They will not listen to you about your experiences, patterns, thoughts. They dont provide helpful information and just throw out one treatment option recklessly without listening to your thoughts about it. They wouldnt listen to my concerns about taking such a high dose of progesterone and Ive been dealing with debilitating health issues since I started their recommend dose including severe hair loss. They dont listen to you, cause damage and then dont listen to you when you try to fix the damage theyve done. Their appointment bookers are also very unhelpful when you can even eventually get them on the phone (you wont). Wouldnt recommend going there ever.

I had a wonderful experience at my initial appointment with Dr Boyman. My referral included a pelvic ultrasound so we did it all there in the office. She was compassionate, informative, very open to questions, respectful and clearly very knowledgeable. From the front desk staff to the medical assistant to the doctor… A+

Been going to VT Gyno for 5 years now and have nothing bad to say. I see Dr. Sisto and shes amazing. Shes always been honest and upfront, outlining the pros and cons of various prescriptions. Ive never felt pressured into getting an IUD, even when its suggested. There is a longer than expected wait to get an appointment, but thats not an issue for annual check-ups. Shes also been very easy to reach via their patient portal when I have a question. Highly recommend these guys!

Dr Kym Boyman is fantastic for transgender healthcare. I went here for a hysterectomy consultation and always felt very comfortable. Had the surgery with her and it was such an easy recovery I didnt even need painkillers after two days.

The absolute WORST gynecological visit I have ever experienced. I unfortunately have an extensive history and have seen gynecologists since the age of 13. The last 5 years, I have traveled for work, so am unable to see my usual provider for my annual. From the moment Ryan Albertson, NP walked in the room, she was immediately off-putting and judgemental. I am a nurse myself, so I appreciate nurse practitioners, but her bedside manner was atrocious. She was abrasive from her introduction until she walked out of the room, she tried to make changes to my medication without understanding my full history, announced she would not be performing an exam, even though it is required by my primary GYN. She did not answer my concerns, did not listen well, and spoke negatively about my body. I have never felt so angry and upset after an exam. The rest of the office visit was nice, the waiting area was comfortable and the MA who took my information was very kind. The only mistake this office made was having Ryan Albertson, NP on staff.

It is difficult to get ahold of. Near impossible to schedule something if you work during the day. The doctor who placed my IUD misplaced it, which resulted in emergency surgery for removal. They never informed me about a post-op appointment and are now arguing that it is documented that I personally confirmed it, which I did not. They also handed me a billing practice paper instead of a doctors note to give to my job. I should also mention the out-of-pocket costs for this doctors mistake. I have much better service at planned parenthood, and you should head there too over this place.

Have had the best experience with VtGyn over the past couple of years Ive been with them. Absolutely incredible group of women, creating a no-judgement zone that is amazing to be apart of. I recently had surgery, and I would recommend and trust any of them to do their job and ensure the safety of their patients. Dr. Jane Conolly was amazing, her and her surgical team made me feel right at home for my procedure and what an incredible bunch of women they are.

I just had a total hysterectomy done by Dr Sisto at age 29. I’ve been seeing her since 2018 for my endo and I can tell you she is the BEST surgeon and doctor. She’s also just a terrific human being. If you suffer from endo or pelvic pain you need to make an appointment with Sisto. I will forever be grateful for her.

Vtgyn is a one of a kind office. Dedicated to their patients, their staff is knowledgeable from the front desk to MAs to surgery schedulers. As a nurse in NP school, I dont often come across offices that go out of their way to accommodate their patients in such a professional, considerate, and respectful manner. Its a pleasure to feel like you are part of a care team thats dedicated to your overall well-being!

Do NOT see Dr. Rivera. She claims to be knowledgeable about complex conditions but that’s a lie. She isn’t even up to date with the literature on common conditions like PCOS. Additionally she will charge you her highest fee for even mentioning anything she considers non-standard. Regardless of if she actually does something to address it, she will charge you. Finally, she really doesn’t care. If you’re worried about something she will dismiss it and treat you as though you’re hysterical. Dr. Rivera is the WORST gyno I’ve ever seen.
