Michael is great. I’ve been seeing him for acupuncture for migraines for a few years now and the severity and number of migraines per month has decreased since I started seeing him. Michael is always very professional and thoughtful in his approach, taking the time to listen to my symptoms and adjust his technique accordingly. He’s also certified in infertility and pre-natal acupuncture and last year when I was pregnant, I felt very safe getting treatment from Michael – he was always incredibly careful and mindful of my changing needs. Would highly recommend.

I have been seeing Michael Bennett since January 2019 for my fertility journey. From the beginning Michael was very professional, kind and very knowledgeable about his practice. He was always very flexible to my schedule and made the entire experience stress free. I loved going in for my sessions as it made me feel very relaxed. I have been going for acupuncture for about 2 1/2 years for my anxiety. I went to Michael after having a really bad episode and have found that when I dont go for a while, my body craves it. I have noticed feeling immediately better when suffering anxiety after going for an appointment. I am not saying that acupuncture is an immediate cure for my anxiety but it is one of the best tools that I have and am so thankful that I found Michael and Metropolitan Acupuncture!

I suggest acupuncture treatment for everyone who goes to a fertility specialist to become pregnant. Michael Bennett is the best choice for acupuncture! He treated me for fertility, but right after the first few sessions I felt positive changes in other areas too, my palm didn’t sweat that much (I had to deal with this issue in my whole life) my eyes got better, they didn’t get tired so easily, I got peaceful mind etc. And after years of trying for a baby, it took 3 months of acupuncute and my body’s overall condition changed so much that I finally could keep pregnancy. He is there 110% when you need him while you undergo fertility procedure to make sure the positive outcome. I highly recomend him!

The worst acupuncture Ive ever had is from Michael Bennett here. It was so painful I actually wondered whether he had old blunt needles. And sure enough I ended up with nerve damage in my right wrist where he went in either too deep or in the wrong place. I am undergoing physical therapy after a period of complete immobilization that saw me out of work for weeks and the assessment of damage is ongoing. Despite contacting him numerous times (as have my doctors) he doesnt respond to text, email or phone. It was also the most expensive acupuncture session Ive had in the city in 13 years, made more expensive by the cost of the follow-up care Ive had to have from the injury he caused. I could go on about other red flags from this acupuncturist and why I think it is wrong that he advertises himself for IVF care - Im quite shocked by the positive reviews here - but I think nerve damage is enough to assure you that this is not a place to go.

Due to the location close to Grand Central, I thought to give Michael Bennett and Metropolitan Acupuncture a try as nothing else including multiple chiropractic sessions. Well after (2) sessions I feel like $1,000,000. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and made this first experience extremely positive.

Dr Benette treated me for a serious nerve pain which I suffered in for years.Then one day I was in so much pain that I was stuck and like could not move. That time he treated me for electro acupuncture and really in 3 sessions I was better and eventually out of pain. The best part though that the pain did not come back for almost 3 years .Even now I am free of Pain in that area.Currently I am in treatment for sciatica and am feeling much better the pain is not gone but it does go away for a couple of weeks at least.I recommend Acupuncture with Dr Benette as the best treatment.I also want to thank Dr Benette as I am pain free due to his treatment.

Michael was a great acupuncturist and very knowledgeable. He made each session very comfortable and also gave advice on eating, lifestyle, etc.

Excellent results! My carpal tunnel syndrome was reversed after a few sessions. I am now working on my immune system, which is going well.
