Planned Parenthood - Stamford Center

Today I had a doctors appointment at 3:20pm I called to let them know that I was going to be a little late because I left work at the same time at 3pm. I called the clinic around 3:08pm to let them know and a woman told me that it was okay that I could arrive 15 minutes late but that I couldnt go over 15 minutes. I told her that it was okay. When I got to the place @ 3:32 they told me that they couldnt see me because it was too late when they told me that I could arrive. She should have told me that from the moment I called, not to wait for me to arrive to tell me that they couldnt help me. If I had known that I would go straight home and not waste my time coming here. For that same reason I will never return to this damn place due to lack of communication. Many times I have an appointment and they keep you waiting longer than normal..

The staff are nice but its very hard to reach an actual person when you call. Also, I think the hours online need to be updated. It said this location closed at 6, but when I called at around 5pm I couldnt even place a refill for my birth control through the automated system youre forced to go through anyway because apparently the office was already closed.

Ive been to this location a handful of times and have seen several doctors and nurse practitioners at this office. I have nothing but positive things to say. The team of people who work at PP Stamford are helpful, aware, kind and incredibly accommodating to their patients. These are incredibly knowledgeable people who are willing to help you no matter what. I had a complication with one of my appointments and a regular doctors office would have turned me away and told me to come back when I have an appointment. However Planned Parenthood of Stamford made time in their already fully booked schedule to make sure I had my needs met. This place goes above and beyond, and I wish more health offices could have the same human decency and understanding as Planned Parenthood does. I will gladly continue to use this location as my primary care physician office!

Mixed reviews. I been going to pph for years 30 to be exact. The ppl working here has always been kind. Not much has changed in that department. But just this last year. I have been given that swab q.tip to swab myself. & no not forcovid. & I have waited on-line for more than a half hour to book an appointment. & still didnt book. Because I couldnt hold any longer. Very disappointing.

I never write reviews but I had a really great experience. I decided to get the Nexpalnon arm implant birth control. I called on a Monday and got in that Wednesday. The center was very clean and professional and the staff couldnt be nicer. Would very much recommend Planned Parenthood, especially this location.

I’ve gone to Planned Parenthood for years! From obgyn visits, to birth control, and STD testing- they’re a great resource. Safe, clean, and comfortable experiences every time. Usually not a long wait to book appointments, and never a long wait in the waiting room.

The staff was neither friendly nor helpful. The nurse practitioner was not very interested in my questions (she was staring at the computer while speaking with me) and was not careful during my procedure so it hurt quite a bit (I have had this same procedure done before and it did not hurt). The nurse practitioner first tried to say the pain was normal, but ended up apologizing for her delivery. I came here rather than going to my normal gynecologist because I wanted an appointment sooner, but I will never return. The wait time is fairly long as well.

Excellent service, care and cleanliness, from top to bottom, this place is grade A phenomenal! No excessive wait times, no uncomfortable vibes and no bad attitudes will be found here! Thank you to everyone on staff and for those who donate!

Choosing to go to Planned Parenthood (in Stamford) was the worst decision Ive ever made. They couldnt send my prescription correctly to my insurance and because of that my insurance charged me extra, the staff did not discuss with me the costs or ask me if I even wanted certain tests to be done and I received a hefty bill, the general checkup that I went in for did not even cover a lot of what typical physicians do, all in all my decision to come here has been the biggest mistake and now I have bills on top of bills to pay because of it. Please DO NOT come here for a yearly checkup/prescription if you dont want your wallet drained. I used to support Planned Parenthood because I believed they were trying to help women, but my opinion has definitely changed after my horrendous experience here. Please learn from my mistake and do not come here.

I have major long-term shoulder injury (brutus, limited range of motion, shoulder pain) as a result of getting a regular vaccine here from, nurse practitioner, Inez. She did not administer the vaccine correctly; I began having pain immediately as she injected me. I travel often and thus have had several vaccines, I have never felt such pain from one. The pain only got worse!!I would not recommend this place to anyone--please go to a regular doctor if possible or go to a better rated Planned Parenthood in New York.

I’m not understanding, are we at planned parenthood or a club? The music is insanely loud and they play the worst music u can think of. Very very distracting.

Stamford Plan Parenthood has a Friendly and professional environment which make the visit comfortable and pleasant.
