Dr. Sharon is hands down the best OB anyone could ask for. He’s always been so thorough with everything since day one and will take his time out and answer any questions you may have. His midwife, Sharon is also amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable and is so understanding with any concerns! I have about 8 weeks of my pregnancy left and feel so comfortable and confident with either one of them delivering my baby! Also shout out to Mrs Cathy and Ansley, they both are so welcoming and makes you feel so special!

Dr. Sharon and his midwife are awesome! Dr. Sharon is a great doctor, he is thorough and listens to any concerns I have. I have never felt brushed off or that I was over reacting. He is respectful and quick. He delivered my son and tied my tubes, no complications or issues. His midwife is awesome too! Very sweet, welcoming, and listened to any concerns I had. I never worry who I have an appointment with because they’re both wonderful. The ladies at the reception desk and triage are wonderful too! I always feel welcomed and taken care of. Whenever I need an appointment they’re quick to get me in, even if they already have a booked day. They do everything they can to accommodate. Highly recommend this place.

“I was truly impressed with Dr. Sharon and the caring staff at Azalea. I have been a patient for 10 years with 3 C-sections. All with great recovery. I saw both Dr. Sharon and Sharon (the midwife) and each visit was thorough and answered any questions I had. I truly enjoyed my pregnancy and going to each visit. Such a great experience!

Dr Sharon and his team have provided me with prenatal care and delivered all three of my babies. Being that every pregnancy was different for me, they aided in me being worry free as possible. Every visit is always pleasant and handled with care, pregnancy or not. Ansley is the absolute sweetest! Days I’d come in completely exhausted and she’d still manage to put a smile on my face. It’s always a pleasure to step into their office to smiling faces and continuous care.

Dr. Michael Sharon has been my doctor for over 20 years. He and his staff are truly caring and compassionate to all their patients. Ansley, his nurse, is golden, as is Mrs. Kathy.Dr. Sharon successfully performed an inversion of my breech baby in 2002 allowing me to have a vaginal delivery. I now travel to see him for checkups, because I trust him that much with my healthcare, even though my childbearing days are over. I appreciate the fact that his staff treats everyone with kindness, patience and exceptional care. 10/10 stars for Azalea Women’s Center!

I cant express enough gratitude for this office. From the administrative staff to nursing to the Doctor. During my first pregnancy the administrative staff worked with me on my insurance and setting up a payment plan so that it was affordable. The nursing staff genuinely care. When I received some tough news about a high risk pregnancy, I was walked to a private room where no other patients would be walking to and allowed me to cry. They escorted my husband to me as soon as he got there. They didnt have to care for me in the way they did. Dr. Sharon was a great doctor that got straight to the point. (I love this kind of doctor.) He didnt candy coat anything and he took care of me. Dr. Sharon SHINES in the delivery room. You can tell that he is most confident delivering babies. I had a c-section and when I had my baby, I knew I had gone to the right place.I was pregnant this past year and the doctor that I chose reminded me so much of Dr. Sharon. Thats the reason I chose this doctor. However, if I could have had Dr. Sharon deliver my second baby, I wouldnt have hesitated.Thank you Azalea Womens Center. You deserve 10 STARS!

Where do I start? This place is absolutely amazing! The staff makes you feel so comfortable and they treat you like family. Mrs. Kathy and Mrs. Alyce are always so loving and sweet. When you have babies and bring them they love on them like they’re theirs and when you call they always ask about them. Ansley is amazing! Anything you need she takes care of it. She is always my go to girl for anything! Sharon is so personable and that’s one thing that I feel in love with about her. She doesn’t treat you like you’re just a patient. She has become more than a provider to me, she is my friend/family! All of the staff are my family! Dr. Sharon is so smart and knows his stuff. I always tell everyone that he is the best surgeon hands down. Both of my c section scars look absolutely flawless! You can’t even tell that I was cut. Thank you Azalea’s Women Center for everything that you’ve done for me and my babies these past 10 years. I love you.

Dr. Michael Sharon has cared for me from perinatal care to perimenopausal management. He safely delivered both of my children while keeping me comfortable (I don’t do pain). Each year, he goes over any issues I might be having and provides helpful solutions. He is brilliant! I am thankful that we have him here in Valdosta.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sharon’s since he took over a practice in Moultrie in the late 90s. (Except for a few years after I moved.) I was very pleased to find he had a practice in Valdosta when I moved here in the early 2000s. In all those years he has treated me with nothing but respect and compassion. His staff has always been kind and professional. I would highly recommend both Dr. Sharon and his staff for anyone looking for an OBGYN.

Dr. Sharon has the best bedside manner! He remained calm and pleasant during the entire birth of my nephew. He is a complete professional and kept everything running perfectly!

I’ve used dr Sharon for everything. He is an amazing doctor. BUT the office staff is atrocious. I called to make an appt, and was very clearly freaking out. She was rude, nasty and condicending. It was the worst. I’ve been a patient for 9years and he delivered both of my baby’s. But I’ve moved doctors only because of his office staff.

This is the best place to go if you’re in or nearby the Valdosta area! Dr. Sharon and Mrs. Sharon are the kindest people and truly take their time with you at each appointment. Not to mention, the sweetest staff, Ms. Ansley and Mrs. Cathy! They truly go above and beyond for their patients! I highly recommend Azalea Women’s Center for all of your OBGYN care!

They are excellent! I am always in and out no problems! Dr. Sharon is very sweet and knows his job. He is always helpful when I have questions, He delivered my first child (my son) via c-section 10-10-17 He made my first pregancy experience a great one. Along with Mrs. Sharon she is amazing, friendly and is really there to help you through anything. She is down to earth and always smiling. She will also answer any questions you have. Everyone in this office is great . They make you feel welcome and like your going to be taken care of. I highly recommend this office to any woman!

Azalea Women’s Center is the BEST all around! They have the friendliest staff, nurses, and Doctors!! They are always up front, honest, and very informative with everything!! I couldn’t ask for a better OBGYN for my family! They have become like family to us, especially Ansley❤️

I want to sing the praises of Ansely in Dr. Sharons office. She goes above and beyond and is always caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She follows up when she says shes going to and seems to truly care about the patients that pass through the door. She is a voice of reason and reassurance. She is a gem and Azalea Womens Center is so lucky to have her.

Dr Sharon (both of them 😂) are amazing and have delivered all three of my babies. Mrs Kathy and Ansley are a great Asset to this place as well. Very friendly.

Only reason Im giving this clinic 4 stars is because of Dr Sharon. He is a very friendly doctor and appears to care about his patients. However the lady that I keep speaking with for over two months has been extremely disrespectful and she cuts you off when you try and speak. She had yet to let me know my bill was even paid even after multiple times of my calling to say it has with proven receipts. She wouldnt allow me to explain what I needed to be seen for although she asked. Very unwelcoming and I one could only hope this is not how she greets other potential patients.

Amazing doctors and staff. I’ve been a patient since I was 16 and I feel like I’m at home when I walk into the office. I’m never short of amazed by everyone and they have gone above and beyond for me. Ms.Cathy will forever have a piece of my heart. Highly recommend, I will never leave!

I have been through a lot with this office, and there’s no other place I’d rather have to do it with. Dr Sharon and his staff are skilled beyond words, and they make you feel like family when you’re there. It was important to me to be able to get same day appointments if needed due to my lady issues, and they can almost always accommodate me. They are quick to send in prescriptions, and never stop working to try to make my life a little more comfortable. I am grateful for this place!

This is my first pregnancy, and I was terrified when I went to my first appointment because I didn’t know what to expect. But the staff here is so comforting and friendly; from the lovely front desk, to the phlebotomist, to the amazing mid wife. I usually dread going to the doctor, but I look forward to my appointments here. I’m 28 weeks pregnant, but I can say with confidence I would 100% come back for my next kid💕

I absolutely love this dr. The entire office staff is amazing. They treat like part of their family. Most the time when u have an appointment you are always seen by that appointment time. They take their time with you and y’all to you without rushing you out. I would never see any other dr other than Dr Sharon. His mid wife Sharon is also amazing. She is so sweet and caring and also takes her time with each patient to make sure you have all questions answered. I love them all

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sharon for well over 16 years and his staff and him has been the absolute best to me and I wish he would have delivered both of my kids but unfortunately he didn’t but I love him and the staff!!!! 💙

Where do I start? Incompetent, way overpriced, and takes none of your medical history into consideration. Read on for details. He seems great upon first meeting him. However, there is something not quite right about this office. When I shared my concerns of going into preterm labor (since I have with both of my previous pregnancies at 32/35 weeks) the response from Dr. Sharon was along the lines of “We’ll worry about that later on since both of your babies were delivered at 39 weeks.” True, but the only reason they weren’t born early was because I felt like something wasn’t right and ended up at the hospital and received medical interventions. This time I want a plan to prevent it from happening at all. Then they told me that at my 12 week appointment I would have a genetic test done. Because this is my third pregnancy I knew this wasn’t standard protocol. They only told me it would cost me $250 out of pocket when I specifically asked. When I said that no one in mine or my husband’s family has any history of genetic disorders they told me that family history has nothing to do with it. Seriously? Isn’t that what genetics is all about. Then I received the “estimated cost of services” for a whopping $4,800. What??? That’s with my insurance and they are “in network”. I am now with a different doctor who is also “in network” and my estimated cost is $2,200. That’s LESS THAN HALF of what Dr. Sharon was going to charge me.

This doctor from Yale has been nothing but disappointing. I have been to many different doctors of his specialty and never have I seen anyone as unhelpful and relentlessly uninterested and uneducated as he seems to be. The conditions of the office at lack lust and the patient concern is completely absent. He was simply the only gynecologist available at the time and I would easily recommend u to any others in the area if possible.

Had my first womens exam here. I was very anxious to say the least. Fortunately, even as the last patient of the day, Dr Sharon and his aide were more than accommodating and understanding. I felt safe in their hands.

Did not enjoy my experience here at all… Dr was nice but it seemed he did not care about me and what i had to say. i went into for help with my periods - i was at the point of being on it for 21 days - plus wanted help figuring out and i went in saying “ i don’t want birth control “ and he questioned why i didn’t want it and then completely ignored/disagreed with my reasoning. he proceeded to prescribe me progesterone (basically a type of the pill). NEVER once did he do an exam on me or anything. i have since found out i have PCOS & could have found out 1.5 years ago and gotten ahead of it had he of been thinking and actually examined me and ran more labs… very unhappy with this experience

They are the best! .... I had C-section and everything was perfect ....The stuff its very nice and they make you feel like in your familyThe doctors care is unique and he spent all the necessary time to explain and answers to all my questions....I recommend them to all the pregnant women!♥️

I love Dr. Sharon I’ve been going to him for many years BUT some of the ladies that work for him are down right rude they have no personality! I have worked for the public all my life if you can’t be kind to your customers you need to find another profession!

I love dr sharon. hes great. and most of the nurses who work there are also great. but the FIRST lady you see, the lady who takes the copay and takes the sticker you write on, is SO RUDE. she literally acts like she is being held against her will to be there. im not going to lie she makes me incredibly uncomfortable and im sure people can agree w me on that.

The only thing good about dr. Sharon is if your pregnant or have something to do with child. been going to dr. Sharon for a long time and this is the first time Ive been very disappointed had to go to another OBGYN so she can thoroughly explain what my condition was his attitude suck because the medicine he gave me didnt work poor bedside manner in my opinion

I’m not one to give reviews ever but just speaking to the staff over the phone to make an appointment was enough to not show up to this place. The lady I spoke was incredibly rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before even calling this place. So safe yourself some time and please don’t give this place your money. I’ll keep attending the Howard Center instead.

The doctor is awesome but one of the staff members was always rude to me at every appointment. She never greeted me until today plus she told me I had a co-pay today and needed to reschedule because of $3 that I didn’t have on hand. She seemed very happy to see me leave knowing now I will have to drive too the ER... The same lady told my partner he couldn’t come in while I was in the back room, she doesn’t care about ppl and doesn’t deserve to work around ppl. I should’ve gone somewhere else if I knew they would allow her to treat me with no respect (today she kept her cool because her supervisor was standing by her) wow no concern at all...

I’m not one to write reviews but I hope to save at least one person from this awful place. Dr. Sharon does not care what you have to say, will rush you out as if you’re an inconvenience, the staff is incredibly rude, the wait times are super long, and it’s unsanitary. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I had my first visit with them today to talk over my pregnancy. Dr sharon is very patient and eased my nerves within minutes of being there. I would highly recommend them!

THE FRONT DESK STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! HIS MEDICAL ASSISTANT SPEAKS ABOUT OTHER PATIENTS MEDICAL INFORMATION. SHE WONT SAY THEIR NAME BUT THATS STILL WRONG!! THE DR. WAS GREAT HE NEEDS A NEW STAFF.THE ONLY NICE PERSON IN THE WHOLE OFFICE WAS MS. KATHY
