Chicago IVF - Valparaiso Fertility Clinic

Edited to add: since posting my review I have heard from billing and their patient advocate. I will say I’m pleased they’re addressing my concerns and look forward to them being resolved. I’m not sure what bugs me more, the fact that they have a doctor that is “federally excluded from prescribing medicine” still prescribing meds or the fact that they took my money, reassuring me that I would be refunded after insurance paid them and they have yet to even submit any claims to my insurance. I have called multiple times to speak with billing and every single time they’re busy and I’m told I would get a call back and have not. I would not recommend anyone use this clinic.

The staff has been so amazing! Everyone is so nice and all the procedures are done in a timely but efficient manner. The communication with patients that they provide is so helpful. Fertility is a sensitive topic and I would highly suggest Chicago ivf solely based on how great they have been while I am going through this delicate process! I have been to 2 locations and the staff is awesome at both!

I had an incredible experience with Chicago IVF. The entire team was extremely helpful throughout the process. Special thanks to Nurse Angela and Nurse Amanda, who were both amazing and provided exceptional care and support. Highly recommend!

The fertility journey can be a frustrating one: even for those of us who have no fertility issues but are only seeking assistance because we are LGBT. The whole process can be mysterious and is certainly more of an art than a science. That said, Angela was our guiding light! She was always happy to answer our questions and help us to understand the process.

Please look elsewhere! Do not trust this Fertility Clinic with your Body, Mind, Future or Money. Fertility issues are already complicated enough so glad I got to see firsthand and will be moving forward with another clinic. These people do not care about how you feel or accommodating at all its about the money!

We really enjoyed the Valpo Clinic, everyone was nice and helpful and understanding. The front desk lady was a little rude to my husband in the beginning, but other than that, we had a great experience with everyone there! Amanda and Angela were amazing throughout the whole process!

Angela is a fantastic nurse! She takes the time to explain everything in detail to you. She is very compassionate & you can tell she genuinely cares about you as a person. She was with me & my husband through every low & high. Gabby at front desk is also very helpful! The communication at Chicago IVF is fantastic. I had nothing but great experiences at this clinic.

I would highly recommend coming here for your care! I felt so cared about from the start. They are quick to respond to any question or concern you may have and offer support and encouragement along the way for all the emotional ups and downs. Special shout out to Angela and Amanda! They are fantastic!

I have been working with this clinic since early 2020. Very professional, attentive timely and effective. First, they never tried to oversell me. When I came to them in 2020, I was dealing with unexplained infertility at age 38. Rather than push me to IVF or ring the alarm, they recommended testing including HSG, SHG and then eventually a polyp removal due to the results of the testing. Their nurses were calming and insightful which I appreciated. Right after my polyp removal with Dr. Brasch, I had a spontaneous healthy pregnancy while thinking of undergoing IVF. I then had a second healthy pregnancy (age 39 pushing 40). I recently came back to do cryofreezing to preserve the change for another baby if possible (age 42). They were again professional, honest and put in place a moderate protocol resulting in 7 frozen eggs, which was as good as could be expected at this point given my AMH. They were very communicative and compassionate throughout the process. My only criticism really: Price is mostly transparent, but I dont love the billing at the ambulatory center so just keep good records of what youve paid. It often takes months for insurance, credits etc to be applied. Got a bill in 2023 for services rendered in 2020! Other than that, Ive been very happy with their help and likely will undergo another cycle of egg freezing soon.

I really can’t say enough wonderful things about Chicago IVF out of Valparaiso. After over a year of TTC, our very first IUI was successful and I can’t thank my team enough. The whole process was extremely fast. There’s not much waiting at all. Appointments, consults, and tests are all scheduled and done very fast! Anytime I had a question, it was so easy to contact my nurse through my portal and ask questions.I’m so thankful for everything that was done for us and I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant with our IUI baby! ❤️

The Doctor is great. However, the billing department does not actually verify your insurance. Be prepared to get a very large (12 times your estimated bill) bill despite what they tell you!Update: I opted for private pay my second round after being assured the billing issue would be dealt with. I paid IN FULL the day before my procedure began. Then, I received another bill for FULL payment four months later. This company will not keep accurate track of your billing! Keep all receipts.

So pleased with my experience thus far . Angela is knowledgeable and kind. She is truly there to help you through this journey every step of the way. The cost for the Medicated/ “tracked” cycle here for an IUI was not anything super expensive in our opinion . Pregnancy tests, ovulation tests, thermometers etc and just time in general can add up to stress and financial costs - if you’re thinking of going forward with an IUI even as “minor” of a case such as ovulation timing - don’t hesitate! Angela and the Chicago IVF team will help every step of the way.

Weve been waiting over three months now for my husbands semen analysis results to be sent to my doctor who referred us here for initial testing. Absolutely absurd, multiple requests have been ignored when these results should have automatically been sent. Will not be seeking any further treatment or testing here.

I would highly recommend Chicago IVF to anyone struggling to get pregnant. After 2 years of trying to conceive on our own and 3 pregnancy losses we were finally able to have a healthy pregnancy with some help from Chicago IVF. The Valparaiso location in particular is excellent and my nurse Angela made the whole experience so much less stressful, she is wonderful!

Our experience was good and smooth. They were very timely and we were able to get the treatment we needed very quickly, compared to other companies that were months out in scheduling. Both doctors were informed, professional, and helpful.

Dr. Brasch did a thorough review of my previous medical records and found some additional testing that needed to be done! After finding some issues, Dr. Brasch was able to help us successfully have our rainbow baby girl! We are currently pregnant with our 2nd rainbow baby! Our boy is due in October! After 8 long years, our family will be complete! Dr. Brasch, Angela and everyone else at the Valpraiso office are amazing! 🥰

I absolutely loved all the woman I interacted with during my time here. They were phenomenal and I’m forever grateful for them all!

I’ve had nothing but fantastic support while figuring all of my things out. They have helped tremendously and everyone I’ve spoke with or came in contact with has been nothing but kind!
