Checked in online and used the link to say when I arrived. My appointment was at 2 and I was seen around 2:20, was completely done with appt. before 3. Super nervous going into my first papsmear but Dr. Zamora made it go very smoothly. It was quick and painless and he was very nice and professional. Much better experience overall than I was expecting.

They still wanted to charge me for a situation out of my control. I was in the hospital almost dead and called to cancel now they say there is no proof. Definitely rather drive 2 hours to another Doctor. She’s really that desperate for money?

I’ve been trying since the end of February to schedule an appointment for my pregnancy after 3 visits to the emergency room. I was told because I don’t have pregnancy Medicaid I wasn’t able to schedule at this time. Received a call from insurance stating I could schedule an appointment so I called again and still no. Dr. McDowells nurse left a message SAME DAY to call back, called and told they would schedule and appointment for me that was 2 weeks out. Fine then another nurse gets on the phone tells me I don’t have insurance and they can’t schedule. I explain to her that the other nurse JAN told me I was able to and tried explaining my situation but that nurse put me on hold mid explanation! Gets back on the phone only to say she spoke to Jan and that Jan didn’t know about my insurance! They either dont listen, don’t care, OR BOTH. I wish there was another place I could go for my pregnancy!

Wanted to like them so much. Dr. Torres was very nice and listened to what I had to say. My actual appointment was pretty fast and easy. However, it is so difficult to communicate. Almost every question I ask needs to be run through the nurse and I will be told that they will call me back, but half of the time they don’t. When I asked for an IUD, I was told they would order one and contact me for placement, but they never did. When I called to check on it they said they would have the nurse call me, but …. they never did. I think you get the gist. It’s unfortunate that I have to travel 2 hours out of town for efficient and quality care.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dr office. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and absolutely no compassion. If you can got literally anywhere else, do so.

Ive been on a wait list for four months for fertility, and once calling my ob with a the work orders for ultrasounds, I was given the run around by several people stating it would not be possible due not having an annual (keep in mind its only a few months over due), and couldnt get one until February. Switched docs, and was still denied. There is no empathy from this clinic, and its devastating the hurt they can cause patients for lack of caring.

Terrible experience with the staff. I dont have any issues with Dr.Wilson herself, but the insurance department called me and told me that my very first appointment wasnt covered under insurance. AFTER I specially asked before making the appointment. After going to the appointment and after they told me it wasnt covered, I received mail from my insurance company saying they approved the lab work (which is all I had done) from that first appointment and that the provider, Dr.Wilson, was notified of the approval. I hadnt received this mail until after my second appointment which they made me pay $440 out of pocket for and also informed me that I still had an outstanding balance of over $200 for the lab work from the first appointment. That I now know my insurance approved coverage for. So I called them to explain. The insurance department of the doctors office told me they never received any money from my insurance so they had already sent out another bill to them for the same labs and to call back next week to see if they received any money. They are just trying to get the most money they can out of my insurance and my pocket.

I went there for the first time as a new patient almost 2 weeks ago now. I waited for 2 hours to be seen by my doctor. And then when he finally came in he didn’t listen to anything I had to say and kept talking over me. None of my concerns were important to him. He told me he’d prescribe me medicine for my problem and a nurse would call me that day. Well 4 days passed. No phone call. No Medicine. So I call back and ask to speak to the nurse. They said she’d give me a call later that day. Days have passed. She never called me. But instead prescribed me the wrong medicine. So now I’m stuck with my problem. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. If you don’t care about people don’t go into a profession where people need your help. Don’t waste your time here. They literally wont treat you.

Dr. Hicks has been AMAZING with my pregnancies. I cant speak highly enough of him as an OBGYN. With every pregnancy I have gone into preterm labor. Hes managed to get my contractions and labor under control each time. I can be stubborn at times and hes always been very patient with me. He takes the time to answer all questions and concerns my husband and I have had with each pregnancy. Thanks to him Ive carried my babies to term, or very close to it, and they have all been healthy.

Dr. Wilson is so amazing, Ive been struggling for years with issues and she took the time to listen and made me feel so comfortable. She took the proper test and she found out the problem. I am now on medication and am very hopeful. Her staff are always kind and the communication is always great. I am so grateful for Dr. Wilson.

Absolutely terrible!!! You will spend an entire day waiting to visit with the doctor and youre lucky to get five minutes of doctor/patient time. I had an awful pregnancy due to neglect from this clinic. I had to have three surgeries during my pregnancy because I was not cared or checked properly. Go anywhere but here, I wish I had sued my sorry doctor from there. It was an act of congress to get my money refunded after the neglect I experienced and I was never even apologized to. They do not care about their patients. Sickening.

Absolutely terrible! The office staff is the worst. No one here does their job and actually contacts insurance like they should. Dr. Suarez is the worst doctor Ive EVER been seen by. Extremely rude and disrespectful towards his patients. Find somewhere else and save yourself!

It is unfortunate that this is really the only option for OBs. My wife sees Dr. Torres who is very pleasant and professional. I am a bit concerned with the billing processes at this facility. They are quick to collect your copy before seeing your examiner but what if you dont need lab work done? They seem to test my wife for everything way more than necessary. The technicians seemed caught off guard when we refused the extra testings that are not necessary. How many HIV and std tests do you need? I recommend asking why their extra tests are necessary. What are alternatives? I understand some tests are necessary but you dont need lab work done every time you have an appointment. Wish there were more options and a midwifery program. It would be advantageous for Victoria to be progressive on this manner.

Dr Wilson’s staff is horrible. I went to get blood work done Tuesday to see how far along I am and the lady who did my blood work said they will call me by the end of the day Tuesday. Then I wait still NO CALL so I call to see if my results are in and they say I have to wait for the nurse to call me back THEN WEDNESDAY comes I call early and they say I have to wait for the nurse to call me back then I call Thursday and again I have to wait for the nurse to call me back. Why can’t I just make an appointment without speaking to the nurse. She’s taking forever and the longer she waits the longer I have to wait to make an appointment.

The staff does the bare minimum here. They coded my labs wrong and were very annoyed when I called to get them fixed. The billing department was very rude. They told me they’d call me back and never did. I am now stuck with an almost $400 bill because of them. Be cautious. These people do not care.

I sat waiting in the secondary waiting room for a womens wellness checkup after getting checked in at the front, getting my blood pressure and other stats taken, for nearly an hour. I finally go ask up front how much longer... and they told me the doctor was delivering a baby and hadnt returned. and no one cared to tell me!!! This is the best service I can get in the area? Not a single person can inform me? On top of that, I tried getting the paperwork sent via email three times but they never could get it to go through, even after I double checked they had the email right. Beware. Customer service is pretty poor.

Dr. Suarez is extremely rude, unable to listen or hear his patients out and enjoys talking over them. He is not genuinely concerned with his patients and will tell you he cares while he continues to ask you questions and talks over your response. If you enjoy feeling like youre not being heard, like being talked over, and being interrupted, Dr. Suarez is the doctor for you. Best wishes to all of his unfortunate patients.

A disappointment to see this place. I had to wait almost 4 weeks to get a doctors appointment here, that day on the drive to the clinic, I was late about 15 to 20 minutes because it was my first visit, I didnt know which office the doctor was, there were 2 offices there. I tried to called but no one answered so I had to go to each office to ask .. thats why Im late and then I finally called the doctors office to ask for their address and told them I was a little late but the clerk said if I am more than 10 minutes late, I need to reschedule for another 2 week. Im surprised because 9:50 am compared to 10:00 am is not much different why not let me .... I feel like Im not welcome in this place. Very sad. I wonder if there is some discrimination here? And then I found another doctor somewhere else

Extremely poor. Got everything transferred and they lost my paper work. Then once I filled it out lost my paper work again. Had an appointment scheduled with the paper and somehow they didnt have it on file. And when I went to see if I could reschedule to fit my schedule better they refused because there was only a 3 week and not a 4 week they couldnt do it. But would schedule me at 22 days... The day after I requested.. Literally. Not to mention the ob himself couldnt find 5 mins to talk to my husband or i because it was such a rush. Would not recommend at all. Terrible, horrible, staff is far from curtious. Will be changing doctors and hospitals. Absoluetly terrible.

From the front desk ladies to ultrasound tech to the vital checker, the nurses and of course my Dr. Suarez they are all so amazing!

First and foremost, rude and irresponsible admitting staff.When scheduling an appointment, keep in mind that the time is just a suggestion to the staff here. You can have an appointment for 9 but you wont be seen till at least 9:45 and then another half hour to see the doctor. But heaven forbid you show up a minute late because theyll turn you away and make you reschedule.And Im still aggravated about their once a csec, always a csec and vbacs are the devil policy.

Went for a well check. Dr didnt really listen to me. They did lab work…. I never got the results. I think I’m just useless to them now that I am done with having babies.

When Ive called, someone is always rude, and I cant count on my prescription to be sent to the pharmacy in a timely manner. My overall feeling is that this is just a job for most of the staff and not a clinic that cares about its patients.

Dr. Hicks is the best! I’ve been going to him for years and he’s always so kind and listens to my every concern! The nurses are always nice and I’ve never had a problem with billing or scheduling!

Dr. Zamora is an amazing doctor who takes the time to ensure you understand all options and procedures. His nurse Natalie is amazing as well. Friendly and helpful staff.

I came to the clinic by DeTar north to see if I possibly had PCOS. I exhibited symptoms and when I went to the doctor they stated that they didnt think I had it, and instead it was due to my weight. I left and got a second opinion at another clinic that ended up diagnosing me with PCOS. I have not gone back since, I just cant trust them, on top of the unprofessionalism.

The truth is, there are a handful of OBGYNs serving Victoria and beyond. Unfortunately, they have to leave to deliver babies, at all hours. The nurses should give you the option of rescheduling when they have to leave, but they never do. Overall, for Victoria, its not horrible.

The waiting is horrible. I understand that the doctors deliver babies, but on those days there should be another MD or NP that can be seen. I would get there on time and still be there 2 to 3 hr later. And when you complain, they just look at you like oh well. I think they could do a little better...

I took my wife in for her ultrasound and we informed them we would like to buy a DVD of the ultrasound. While my wife changed in the restroom they asked me for a phone number. After the appointment they charged us for not only the DVD but for a text message link. We informed them we didnt request anything other than the DVD but they said the tech always asks and charged us the additional cost.

Be prepared for incredible long waits... I went here for 3 appointments total and every appointment I had it waited over an hour. My first appt I waited over 2 hours. Doctors may be quality professionals but the overall clinic is very miss managed. Expect long waits and poor communication as a patient.

This is my second baby Dr Wilson will deliver I think she is great however the clinic does get really busy and sometimes over crowded but I don’t feel like I’ve ever had to wait too long to be seen…the real pain is trying to schedule appointments

I love my doctor here i think she is absolutely amazing but the fact that i wait over an hour every time im here even 2 to 3 hours and i see people you come in way after me get seen first its extremely frustrating because k know if i have an appointment i cant have any other plans for the day

I absolutely love Dr. Wilson, very professional and answers all my questions. The patient portal is absolutely amazing, the wait is never long and the office is welcoming.

Love Dr. Wilson & the nurses ive seen, theyrealways awesome. The other staff, not so much.

Rude lady at cashier to checkout. Dr. Gonzales was not very comforting while examining me. Cried all the way home. Not a very compassionate place!!

Wow is there a reason why the staff is so horrible, rude and snobby? Yeah Im driving to Alice to have my baby. Ill take a 4 hour drove anyday over dealing with these people.
