Dr. J. Crochet is truly exceptional both as a person and as a doctor. Our journey together began about a year ago, and throughout, he has consistently demonstrated remarkable care and dedication. He provides thorough and reassuring answers to all our questions, making the entire experience much more manageable. His support has been invaluable every step of the way.His team of nurses and office staff have been are some of the kindest people and are one first name basis with a lot of the staff.Without Dr. Crochet and his team, we would not be where we are today!

My initial consultation with Dr Crochet was great. Everything started off better than we expected. He was super patient, not rushed at all and very honest/upfront with statistics based on my own demographics so that we would be fully aware of all possibilities.We were assigned a nurse, Kelcie and an ultrasound sonographer, Bo, that took the whole experience to the next level.I wish my entire journey would continue with them even now that I’ve graduated the whole program and moving on to my OB. They made me feel like I was the only patient and always so personable and taking so much time to make me feel like it was “our” journey together. I hope to have them again on our next round.

Everyone at Dr. Crochets office is so wonderful to work with. I had an awesome experience from the moment I made my first appointment to my final graduation appointment. All his staff are so sweet and helpful! I would highly recommend for anyone going through infertility.

Dr. Crochet is an exceptional provider. I felt complete confidence in my care the entire time I was a patient of his. He listens well and helps you make decisions about your treatment plans. Extremely knowledgeable and personable, my only complaint is that he won’t deliver my baby :) I can’t recommend him enough. The entire staff is wonderful and I’ve built some strong relationships with them all. I’m happy to have graduated from the clinic, but sure will miss them all.

Dr. Crochet is an excellent/caring doctor. From our initial visit, he put me and my partner at ease, given we had experienced a miscarriage before being referred to him. We got our labs/testing done, and although we didnt go all the way through the fertility treatment because, in the middle of the process, I ended up pregnant on my own again, the fact that they still monitored me until we were officially given the graduation bead was above and beyond. I was scared I would miscarry again, and they were able to put my mind at ease. I will definitely see him again once Im ready for baby #2.

Dr. John Crochet was our third doctor after doing multiple rounds of IVF at other facilities. He was honest, understanding,empathetic, and carefully and thoughtfully constructed a plan for us that worked! We have two beautiful baby boys! He also has an amazing personality, bedside manner, and sense of humor. As we recently moved out of state, Im sad that we wont be able to continue with this doctor. He was excellent, and the facility and all the nurses were also amazing to work with! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Nothing short of absolutely amazing! Dr.Crochet and his team are outstanding and really allowed my husband and I to lean in on any questions we had along the way. After 2 years of trying, a uterine polyp removal procedure, and my PCOS, we were referred to Dr. Crochet by my OBGYN. Its been a long process but we officially graduated from SGF yesterday at 10 weeks pregnant! We cant thank Dr. Crochet enough and his team for taking care of us from beginning to end. He was very patient, kind, supportive, and straightforward with our IVF plan.Everyone I encountered at the Clear Lake clinic was friendly and professional. Big shoutout to my nurse team Brooke and Kelcie who talked me through EVERYTHING, even when things got a little stressful. Bo and Jeanine were amazing and answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had during our ultrasounds and consultations. And Gina from Quest Diagnostics was amazing too! (do not like getting needles but became a pro after lol). The whole team and front desk staff made everything smooth and easy, always got back to my calls and emails in 24hrs or less and were very organized. If there was an emergency, you can call the after hours line and one of the other doctors will call you back right away.I would highly recommend Dr. Crochet at SGF to anyone who is experiencing infertility. I can’t thank Dr Crochet more!! After MANY years of TTC Dr Crochet and his team made it happen! I never thought I’d see the day that I would get a positive test but here we are at almost 10 weeks. Dr. Crochet has been a great fertility doctor for us and the only fertility specialist we will use or recommend. When other doctors gave us no hope and would not treat us Dr. Crochet gave us our hope back. He helped us through two sucessful rounds of IVF embroy transfers and now we have 2 beautiful baby girls. We started seeing Dr. Crochet in 2014. Dr. Crochet gave us his best medical advice and informed us that I had unexplained infertility, so we knew we had a challenging journey ahead of us. We met with other doctors as well to hear other options but did not have success. We came back to see Dr. Crochet in 2019. He is always personable and listened intently to all our concerns. He then mapped out a plan that was very specific to me. Dr. Crochet and the staff at Shady Grove Fertility were very patient with us during the entire process. I was reluctant to see a fertility specialist, but Dr. Crochet listened to all of my concerns, empathized with me, and allowed me to be in charge of my plan. We are so thankful for Dr. Crochet! Hes our miracle worker! We met with him in 2021 and started fertility treatment. He carefully evaluated both of us, did two rounds of IUI, and then we were pregnant! We now have the most wonderful little son that we were dreaming of! Were going back for our second and we appreciate how Dr. Crochet and his team take their time with us, answer our questions, and weigh the options. Oh, and FYI, his practice has recently changed names. They used to be Center of Reproductive Medicine (CORM), but now theyre Shady Grove.

I was highly recommended to Dr. Crochet at SGF and I must say I completely agree why! He has been so amazing! From the very beginning of our journey to IVF he has been so straight up with our statistics ( which I highly appreciate because I don’t like to waste time) but also always made me feel like I had the autonomy to make an informed decision. He always gave me options and I chose what was best for me. He answered my million questions and went through in detail on every step of what my IVF journey entailed from the very beginning. Every plan was super detailed and was updated on our portal. I know I’m one of the fortunate ones but everything had went very successfully on my first and only cycle. I am currently pregnant on our first cycle/ transfer and just graduated the fertility clinic! Such a happy day! I will be sending pics of our baby when it’s born. I will definitely be coming back here for our second baby as I am thankful to have plenty of embryos left. If you’re thinking if this is the clinic for you, stop wasting time and make that appointment with Dr. Crochet!! He is so amazing and you’ll see why once you meet him. Other than him, I’ve also had a great experience with it’s the staff. They’ve all been super nice, I’m VERY impressed at the fast appointments and appointment time options!! You literally get seen at your appointment time and are out of there so fast. Even the phlebotomist are awesome! They always stuck me the first try! I cannot appreciate that enough. My nurse Brooke was super awesome too because she always called me with updated information and she was always on top of it! Anyway, I’ve got nothing but good reviews to say and I’m very thankful Dr. Crochet and his staff helped my husband and I to have our rainbow baby! :)

We are so grateful to Dr. Crochet as he guided us through our fertility journey. He is compassionate, empathetic, patient, sharp, and explains things a way that we (not medical professionals) understood. He consults with knowledge and data in mind, and will objectively assess other options we bring to the table, even if it may be counter to his initial recommendation.While the SGF clinic has undergone many operational/administrative changes when they were bought out (i.e. new communication portal, staff changes, communication change with embryo updates), the nurses, phlebotomist, and other staff have been consistently kind and relatively timely in their responses. While some frustrations were had from our side, which I have read are also felt at competing clinics, overall I could tell everyone was trying their best given potentially unavoidable constraints.At the end of the day, we decided to stick with SGF because of our comfort with and trust in Dr. Crochet.

Dr. Crochet really cares and does whatever it takes to make sure you are happy. Even when things got tough he always had a plan and now I am 10 weeks pregnant! We could not have done it without him and his team. I will forever be thankful for what they did for us!!

We started seeing Dr. Crochet in January 2021 after trying to conceive for a year and having chemical pregnancy. He was positive from the start that we would reach our end goal of having a baby. Each time a treatment didnt work he was quick to make changes to our treatment plan, each time getting better results. On our second FET we got our positive pregnancy test and Im now 10wks and graduating from SGF to my regular OB.Dr. Crochet and his team at SGF have been nothing but helpful and positive, even when having to deliver hard news. We cant thank them enough for helping us navigate this difficult road to pregnancy.

We are so thankful for Dr. Crochet. I found him after my husband and I had been trying to start a family for almost two years. We had attempted an IUI with another doctor, and due to that doctor not supporting our personal convictions and beliefs, we did not proceed with IVF or any other treatment at that first clinic.When we spoke with Dr. Crochet at our initial consultation, we discussed how we were only comfortable with IUI, and we discussed how our personal convictions and beliefs drove us away from IVF as it had been presented to us in the past. (As a couple, we believe that life begins at conception, and did not want to be faced with the difficult decision of going through genetic testing resulting in the potential discard of embryos that had markers for certain disabilities, and we did not want to have any leftover embryos that we did not use by the end of our cycles.)Dr. Crochet listened to us and then came up with a solution-we did not have to do genetic testing and we would only fertilize the number of eggs at one time to match the number of children we were comfortable with having. So, in each round, we harvested eggs, only fertilized three, and froze any additional eggs we had leftover. (We discussed only wanting three children at maximum.)This took so much pressure off of us as a couple and helped us to make the decision to ultimately proceed with IVF. Each round, of course we had a plethora of questions and needs, and he and his staff (especially our specific nurse, Brooke) always answered our questions and never made us feel bad for being so curious, and no question was silly.We also had concerns each round-what would the cost be? Whens the best time to proceed? Are there different approaches/medicines that could be more successful/be more beneficial for our budget? Dr. Crochet and Brooke continued to listen to us and help us to find solutions to any concerns or needs that we had. I have never had a doctor so patient and willing to listen to figure out what the root of any hesitations or questions we had was, and then help us to find a solution.Although we have not been successful yet (I am 41 years old so I know my chances are slim), Dr. Crochet has reminded me that even though were not attempting another round of IVF, I am STILL HIS patient and he and his staff are there for us. He has helped me to figure out some ways that we can better our chances as we try on our own, and Im hopeful that in the near future, he will be able to see us and be our doctor until its time to be transferred to a regular obgyn at 10 weeks.I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Crochet and Brooke to anyone who is contemplating beginning on this journey. If you want a doctor who will truly listen, hes needs to be your first call; it will probably be your only call.

Dr. Crochet is awesome! Hes always patient and responsible. He will review vitals and lab results to provide any adjustment with my plan in time. He cares about his patients and uses medications that is right and wont break the bank. Trust him and graduate with a baby at the end.

After trying to conceive naturally for 5 months, my husband and I sought help with Dr. Crochet. Dr Crochet suggested we try IUI before taking the IVF route. Although statistics suggested being in late 30s IUI success rate would be less than 8% for my age group. I believe due an excellent doctor and a high quality nursing staff such as nurse practitioner Jeanine Prices weekly follow up check ins. This all contributed to me successfully conceiving on my first try of IUI. My husband and I are thrilled and track how big the baby is weekly on a baby tracker app. Thank you
