Planned Parenthood - Wellington Health Center

I had a very positive experience for my first visit here and will definitely return in the future. Everyone was really nice and professional, from the women at the front desk to the nurse practitioner, and I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes at any point. In particular, the woman who did my intake, I think her name was Nikki (not sure of spelling) was so friendly and welcoming, and took her time going through all of the health history questions and telling me what to expect from the appointment. I haven’t had many positive experiences in Florida with health care, and the medical system could really use more people like her.

I needed my birth control implant removed as well as another service PP offers. I drove over 50 miles to this particular planned parenthood location for the other service because it was not offered at my local planned parenthood, only to be told that they only recorded my birth control implant removal and not the other service requested. I was told that there was no way they could accommodate both and I was told to reschedule. I wasted gas and time driving over 50 miles here. They told me there was absolutely no way for the clinician to work in both services. The manager was extremely nice and sympathetic but the fact that they couldnt work both services in after I drove that far is not okay. If I just wanted my implant removal I would have gone to my local planned parenthood which is only 5 miles from me. I do not recommend this location.

I am able to get the services I need done. The actual doctors are very easy/comfortable to talk to, but the reception is a different story. Most women at the front desk are very unprofessional and should be replaced. As I was waiting for my appointment, the ladies could be heard talking about a woman who just left, talking about her odor as well as confidential things that should not be discussed; especially when the entire waiting room can hear them. Please check in on your staff, that kind of catty, childish attitude should not be tolerated in what should be a safe space for women.

I went to this facility today to have my mirena iud removed being it has been 5 years, I would have loved to replace it. However, could not afford over $1,000.00 out of pocket being I currently do not have health insurance. After sharing that with the medical assistant Adrianna ( I believe thats her name, long blonde hair) she informed me the mirena is actually good for 7 years. I was delighted as I have no complaints with the mirena iud. I am so very happy they were honest and told me it was safe to stay with the mirena iud another 2 years. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite also. I felt very comfortable from the front desk to the exam room. I will definitely be coming here again!!

Oh my! Patty, Courtney, and Katie just were the best nursing staff. From start to finish went above and beyond their job to make sure i was comfortable and had everything I need for a healthy future. 💖 Thank you so much for caring.Yes waiting was a little long... But more nerve racking then anything, but honestly but the best are worth waiting for. 💖

I currently don’t have insurance and when asked how much to remove the birth control in the arm one person said $250 another quoted $205! Two different answers but both prices outrageous. And again for a 10-15 mins procedure to remove bc that’s not working. When I asked do they accept walk-ins and do they work based on income or a payment plan both stated no. Absolutely ridiculous. Now when I called about my questions and when tried to book an appointment online both processes were simple and professional. However, I’m not sure if it the locations in South Florida or if things with the company have changed but I visited a Planned Parenthood a few times in another state (up north) and I was able to walk in, be seen, and not have to pay upfront. Highly disappointed

Great facility-- very nice doctors & staff and extremely clean. One thing that I do have an issue with is the wait times regardless of what you are there for. Even just to pick up birth control it generally takes 30 minutes, so make sure youre not in a hurry to be somewhere afterwards.

If you’re bored at home and wanna go sit at a clinic just for the hell of it then this is the place for you. I set up an appointment a day before, and yet I waited for almost 3 hours. The worst part is, it’s freezing inside, i got hungry they could have at least put a snack machine there. When I went to the nurse and asked her why do I have to wait for that long when I had an appointment, she was so rude. When I finally met with the actual nurse, she had no manners... I am never stepping a foot there. Worst clinic to go to.

First time ever going to a Planned Parenthood. Best experience I have ever had. From the front desk and the exam room. All staff and Doctor were so friendly & welcoming. For sure will be returning. (:

I eagerly look forward to every appointment at PlannedParenthood Wellington for treatments at the gender clinic. The staff are so lovely, and welcoming, and caring, and affirming! It’s the sort of place I would happily choose to hang out if I were allowed!I’m trans, live in Stuart Florida, my primary and psychs won’t treat gender HRT, and the Planned Parenthood clinic in Wellington was the nearest option available to me. It’s the happiest 50 minute drive I get to make!5-stars, highly recommend to anyone needing something on PP’s LARGE menu of wonderful services!

Incredibly nice staff, way nicer and more caring than the west palm location(Village Blvd) I waited maybe 15 min whole appt took about 2 hours they were pretty busy. I didnt mind I was glad to be taken care of. Thank you very much I will drive out of my way 40 minutes just to go here. Best planned parenthood Ive been to.

Screw planned parenthood, they are the worst offices in the entire obgyn community. They refuse to send my prescription to my pharmacy when I have 2 refills left. They say I need to come in for an appointment and pay 100 dollars just to renew my prescription when my prescription isnt even done yet from the first time I paid 100 dollars for my pills. All this just to be not be pregnant?! Its like they want me to be pregnant. Maybe so then Ill have to spend MORE money on an abortion. Oh wait, you guys lost funding for doing the wrong thing with your aborted children! No wonder you guys are a freaking joke.

Loved my experience at this office. Everyone was kind and patient with me. I saw Rachel and loved her, so genuine and friendly. Shes very knowledgeable and kindly answered all my questions.

Literally THE WORSE place EVER!!! the waiting times are instane. They tell you a price & then add some additional fees. The staff & Doctor literally doesnt care about you or who long youve been waiting. Ive waiting 7 hours & my appointment was at 8am. You might as well go somewhere else.

All of the staff were amazing! Front desk ladies were pleasant and kind. Everyone in the office was very nice, happy, smiling, and genuinely friendly. Clean place!

I went today and I was worried and super scared but all the nurses including the doctor were really nice and patient I really appreciated them doing the best they could and trying to be fast with the whole process but it went great!!! Thank you to the whole staff 👍❤️

Very unprofessional. I had an appointment and they cancelled it the same day without calling me. Also, the receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. It was all just messy and a waste of time and gas.

Locations like this one is why we need to keep supporting and funding planned parenthood. The women there were polite, attentive and understanding. Good feelings

My experience waiting wasnt bad since I was 30 mins late and they gladly took me and i didnt have a problem waiting. So we will see whats next. Thank you.

I came in for a pretty embarrassing issue. I was handled with care, attention, and kindness. These are some really nice people. Thank God for them.
