I have been with Shady Grove since they opened in 2021. Everyone that works at this office is fantastic! They are so welcoming and make me feel comfortable every time I am in the office. Susan and Dana were there for my first IVF process which led me to my beautiful baby girl. I am back for baby number 2 and have the same amazing experience with the staff. I have recommended a ton of friends and family to Shady Grove and will continue to do so!

Shady Grove is the place to be! After 4 years of TTC we began our IVF journey with Dr. Nguyen. After our first round we were pregnant for the first time and this year (2024) welcomed our son! This would not be possible without the incredible team at Wexford and Maryland offices!

I transferred to Shady Grove in Wexford from a different clinic and have never been so happy with my decision. The entire experience has been great so far. The staff has been so friendly and have gotten to know me on a first name basis so fast. All of the ladies have been so quick to address my questions and concerns. I have already recommended this office to others and will continue to recommend them to others.

From the first phone call to meet with a new doctor and through the cycle it’s self we have not had one bad experience. Everyone is so friendly and so caring. They all put up with my anxiety and assure me that they are doing everything they can. I have never felt so cared for by any medical practice. The Wexford office as a whole are some of the most kind hearted people I have met.

Best customer experience!!! I came to Shady Grove for a second opinion and the patient experience has been phenomenal compared to what I experienced at UPMC. Erica remembers me and welcomes me in with a smile for every appointment rather than at UPMC checking in at a kiosk that doesn’t work well. Demi typically does my bloodwork and she remembers me, is friendly and kind, knows what works best for me, and she makes everything as painless as possible. Dana and Melissa typically perform my ultrasounds and they know me, my condition, and they care about my outcomes. They celebrate with me when we have wins and they are understanding when we have setbacks. This team, along with my doctor, have tried additional treatment options that even the Head of REI at UPMC wasn’t knowledgeable about. They have given me hope and alternatives when I thought we had none. So grateful for Shady Grove!! I highly recommend SGF!!

Shady grove has been amazing to work with! Only 3 months from my first appointment to an embryo transfer… Erica is always friendly and helpful at the front desk and scheduling appointments. Demi is the best drawer of blood I have ever seen, and such a nice person, and Dana is so sweet and welcoming I always feel comfortable and get all my questions answered. This is a long overdue post, but I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences with Shadygrove. My beautiful baby boy just turned one, and this moment would not have been possible without the help of SGF. Infertility is an often long and emotionally tumultuous road, and the staff at the Wexford office helped me to navigate those years and stay above water. The level of compassion and professionalism there is unmatched. I’ve had unfortunately a very poor experience at another local clinic, so it may be rare to find one like this where you are not just a number, but a person who they strive to get to know, who they route for and fight for. APPs Susan and Dana delivered exceptional care during retrieval monitoring. The office staff always greeted me by name when I walked in the door. Dr Bromer was always willing to work with me and hear out my ideas, answer questions with evidence supported data. He was always open and honest about any setbacks along the way, my trust in him was absolute. This is something that most women never expect to have to navigate, but I’m thankful that SGF was there for me every step of the way, and I’ll be forever grateful to them for making my dreams of motherhood come true.

SGF and all of the staff have been nothing but AMAZING throughout our journey! So caring and compassionate! Gabi was amazing from my first interaction with SGF on day one, Dana has helpful and caring every appt, my nurses Leanne & Brittany have been informative and compassionate when the news wasn’t always the best, and Dr Nguyen feels like family! I started my journey with infertility almost four years ago. After a year of medicated cycles my obstetrician advised I see a fertility specialist. One of my clients recommended Shady Grove Fertility. On my first televisit with Dr.Bromer I knew I made the right choice. Being new to the whole infertility journey I was terrified. I had no clue what to expect or what I was doing. When I walked into the Wexford office and was greeted by Erica’s smiling face immediately felt calm and comfortable. Over the past year the Wexford office has become like a second home almost with all of the appointment I have had to attend. The staff at the Wexford office it’s truly amazing and I can’t praise them enough. As a fertility patient, your team is everything. You have to trust one another completely and connect on a serious level. I cannot recommend this group at Shady Grove enough. I’d go all over the world if it meant having them every time!Dr. Bromer from the very beginning was straight forward with what our plan needed to be and his confidence was admirable. His ability to relate to us and make us feel like he really cared was everything we had been looking for in a provider. It was clearly never made to feel like a money making factory but rather that it was all about giving us the family we waited so long for and wanted so badly. Every phone call about results or every transfer, there he was with his calming demeanor and it had a way of making me and my husband feel like it was all gonna be okay and work out. We never not looked forward to seeing him or hearing from him no matter what cost. He was our rock.His Wexford team was just as wonderful. Those girls became our family. They became the ones we leaned on for it all. They cried with us and celebrated with us. Every visit was a good time even early in the morning before our own work day began. The NP, Dana and PA, Susan talked me off so many hormonal ledges and never made me feel stupid for feeling whatever it was I was feeling. Every one in that office from blood draws, to rooming us, to getting vitals, to assisting in procedures, etc were amazing beyond words. We couldn’t have done this without them.Traveling to Maryland was always a fun time. And everyone there as well made us feel welcomed and were always spectacular. The facility is absolutely beautiful and all doctors, embryologists, nurses, front desk staff, etc were just the greatest. This was important as we we were coming from a different state and didn’t know our surroundings. They made it worth the travel.Please enjoy photos of our family with Dr. Bromer as it was such a special moment for us all. It took everything I had not to cry. The team at Wexford is absolutely phenomenal! I switched to SGF because I wasnt happy with the quality of care I felt like I was getting at UPMC. And Im so happy I did. Everyone here has been so friendly and caring.My initial consult with Dr. Bromer was almost an hour long because he was actually willing to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and discuss ideas I had about my care. He made me feel my concerns were valid, and treated me as if I could have an intelligent conversation about my care. With my previous doctor, I never had an appointment last more than 20 minutes, because she never wanted to take the time to fully discuss my questions/concerns/ideas. This difference in attitude was mind-blowing to me and was the deciding factor in my choice to switch!The other day I was late for my appointment (traffic... ugh) and Erica called me to make sure I was ok. I would have never expected that type of concern - they just didnt write me off as a no call/no show - they cared about me and wanted to make sure I was ok.Dani and the nursing staff (Mallory, Madison, Ashley, Brittany, Leanne) are always great at responding in a timely manner to any messages in the patient portal, and taking time to answer my questions on the phone. Its so great to feel like my care matters to them - instead of having to hound the clinic for updates or feel like my questions are an inconvenience to them.Demi has done the majority (if not all) of my blood draws and as someone who has tricky/tiny veins I appreciate that shes not having to turn me into a pin cushion with multiple sticks!My appointments with Dana have always been great, and she makes me feel so at ease because she explains things and answers my questions.I could honestly go on and on about all of the staff Ive had the pleasure to interact with. IVF is a complicated process, paved with challenges and moments of hope. If Ive learned anything over the past year of my journey, its the importance of having a strong support team in your corner.Thats why I feel abundantly blessed for the incredible team at Shady Grove in Wexford. Every morning Im warmly greeted by Erica and her office staff. Gabi, Demi, and Sarah always make blood draws as delightful as they can be. (I never thought Id end up smiling after a blood draw.) Then, theres the wonderful team of doctors, PAs and technicians - Dr. Barrison, Susan, Dana, and Melissa. Theyve all been a part of my ultrasound process and have yielded the millions of questions Ive had, all while providing reassurance throughout the whole process. No one has ever made me feel like a number.As of now, my journey is still ongoing. No matter the outcome, Im grateful I chose Shady Grove in Wexford.

My wife and I started our journey with SGF in Wexford in late summer of 2023. We were lucky enough to be pregnant by November. Our care team, including Susan Strellec, Dana Thomas, Dr. Bromer, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. We felt like our care was a priority and they cheered us on the whole time. When we graduated, Dr. Bromer was in the office and smiling ear to ear (as you can see in the picture). We are so lucky to have found SGF Wexford. Our little girl is due in June and we are forever grateful.

I have been a patient here for >1yrs and have always received excellent care. The staff respond quickly and they are always friendly. Demi, Erica, and Sarah are wonderful! Dana the NP is very caring and takes her time with you.

Summary: working with a small group of kind people you get to know well makes a tough process less terrible. The Shady Grove folks (including Dr. Bromer, who is based in Rockville) are wonderful.After having a less-than-great experience at another local facility, I stumbled upon Shady Grove and Im so, so glad. Weve been working with them for a bit less than a year and I honestly look forward to going into the office (just to see the team). While we waited to see if a cycle was successful, I missed them!The first line of defense (Gabi, Dani, Demi, and Erica) are kind, relaxed, and chatty (if you want), which is quite helpful in keeping you sane. Theyre also timely and informative; Ive never once had to take multiple steps or make multiple calls to get things done.Then, once you get to the providers (Susan, Dr. Barrison, and Dana) they take the time to talk you through every appointment and scan thoughtfully, non-clinically; Ive never felt rushed or unheard and Ive always understood whats next as much as possible. And theyre immediately transparent. Since its PAs and doctors who are doing your scans, they can share preliminary information with you. I also feel comfortable as a vulnerable person at the office because theyre willing to talk about their lives, too. Were all humans doing the same things: this team doesnt split it up into patient v. provider.While Ive not worked with any of the nursing team in-person, Ive spent quite a bit of time with them via phone and email. Again, theyre willing to listen and respond instead of forcing by-the-book rules on you. You work with the whole team, so I dont need to worry about catching someone up on my history before asking questions: they already know whats going on with my cycles. Ive spent the most time working with Brittany, Leanne, and Mallory, but Madison and Ashley are great too.

We are so incredibly grateful for our experience with Shady Grove. Dr. Bromer was very straight forward with our test results and IUI & IVF plans. His confidence assured us that we were doing what was best for our family. Dana was a giant blessing to our family. After experiencing recurrent pregnancy loss, every test and ultrasound was a fearful event. Dana talked us through each test and ultrasound, showed empathy, and answered every question we had. We cannot thank her enough for her kind and understanding demeanor. Even after our experience extended beyond Shady Grove, Dana always remained our absolute favorite. Dr. Bromer and Shady Grove are my saving grace. After over 4 years of infertility struggles with multiple losses, I have finally made it past the first trimester of pregnancy for the first time!My husband and I started our journey with another local, major clinic for the first 2.5 years, and we unfortunately had a pretty negative experience. After being referred to Shady Grove, we immediately had so much relief after our first appointment because we knew we were in the best hands. Shady Grove was the 3rd clinic we visited on our journey to conceive. The entire process was seamless but warm and personalized. I can’t explain how amazing SGF is! This was my 3rd fertility doctor in 4 years and by far was beyond a 5 star experience. From my first appointment with Dr. Nguyen I felt calm and renewed in this terrible fertility journey of mine. She gave me reassurance when I was scared it would never work for us. Her approach with our medication protocols and close monitoring through each cycle was amazing. We were finally getting the results we expected all along! We did go through a miscarriage and Dr. Nguyen personally called to make sure I was okay. It meant a lot to my husband and I. Our next cycle she made changes to our protocols and we got success! We could not be more happy. Plus the Pittsburgh office staff is amazing!! Shout out to Demi and Dana who I saw the most.

I felt like they truly wanted to get to know me and not just do the task at hand. We got a diagnosis and a game plan so quickly. We started with SGF in March of 2023 and by May decided we were going to do IVF. My egg retrieval was in July & we had amazing results. In October of 2023 we had a successful FET. We are so so thankful & I know we had the BEST care. We can’t wait to work with them again when we decide to go back to transfer another frozen embryo!

I have been a patient of Shady Grove and Dr. Bromer since 2020. Before the Wexford office opened, we would travel to Frederick/Rockville, MD. We have always loved the care we received from Dr. Bromer. He treated us like people, not a number. We did a round of IVF followed by a FET in 2020. That resulted in a pregnancy but we had a devastating second trimester loss. As soon as I reached out to my nurse, I received a phone calls from both her and Dr. Bromer almost immediately to send their condolences and discuss next steps. They were more compassionate than my actual OB. Our second FET in 2021 resulted in our amazing son. We had more embryos so we decided to try for a second child. Now, the Wexford office was open and we were thrilled to be able to cut back on travel. The staff at this location has been nothing short of amazing. They are kind, compassionate, and understanding. We had more appointments than anticipated this go around and they were so accommodating to my schedule. We are currently expecting again from our third FET! When I “graduated” from Shady Grove this time around, the staff at the office had a little “ceremony” which was extremely special. It shows just how above and beyond these wonderful people go to make you comfortable during an uncomfortable process and care as much about your success as you do. I highly recommend SGF to anyone hoping to have a family. This is a place you can trust to be by your side on the difficult road of fertility treatments. Thank you Dr. Bromer and SGF. My experience at Shady Grove was incredible. My husband and I had two previous failed rounds of IVF before coming to Shady Grove. After one round of IVF at Shady Grove, we got pregnant! We gave birth to our baby girl on November 30, 2022. When meeting Dr. Nguyen last fall, she was so positive and caring. She had so much faith in us and our journey to start a family. We instantly knew we were in good hands. I’ll never forget at the end of one of our visits she said, “I am confident I will get you to the finish line.” Sure enough, she got us there on the first try. Since switching to Shady Grove, I have referred many people to the clinic.I love sharing my story so that I can help others reach their dreams of becoming parents. My husband and I had a great experience at SGF. All of the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The office is clean and cozy, and you feel like the staff knows you personally, and youre not just a number.We were patients for a year before we moved on to IVF, where we had a successful first round and got pregnant after our first embryo transfer. I really enjoyed working with Dr. Bromer. Hes extremely compassionate and takes the time to explain and answer any questions without us feeling rushed. He was always receptive when I wanted to double check something or wanted more information on a treatment decision. I always felt confident in his decisions, and we had great results from it.Infrequent travel to Rockville, MD is sometimes required, but the staff does try to minimize your trips. I did my research on the other clinics in the area, and am very happy we made the decision to go to SGF, despite the couple trips we had to make.The SGF staff truly cares, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for infertility treatment.

The staff at SG Wexford and SG in general are wonderful. Very quick to respond to any and all questions and willing to offer suggestions and help as needed. The Wexford office is clean and they get you in and out pretty quickly for your appointments. I adored my treatment team and have mixed feelings of graduating from their services back to my regular OBGNY. After years of failed fertility treatments at another local hospital system, SG offered a new treatment plan and approach that worked - the first try. Highly, highly recommend getting on their wait list if you or your partner are having any sort of infertility issues.

After waiting 5 months for a consult and wasting $45 they informed me I cant use donor sperm at the Wexford location. This is something that I shouldnt have to pay for or wait 5 months to be told. Very disappointed..
