Ive been to this communitymed many times and the entire staff is just wonderful! I saw Claire today for an issue Ive actually already been to a primary care doctor for (prescribed me over the counter medicine I had already been trying for months) and she did everything she could to accommodate me! So thankful for this place!

This is by far the best urgent care in Wichita Falls. Everyone was so friendly and kind not to mention very knowledgeable all while being professional. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for urgent care I promise you they will not disappoint. EZ check in, office, nurses and doctors/ PA are all great!!! We love,love, love this place. 🩷🩷

This office was recommended in responses to a recommendation request on FB for urgent care for a pulled muscle in my shoulder/back. Loved being able to schedule my visit on their website quickly, same day, within 2 hours. Checked in from parking lot, brought in at scheduled time. Clean friendly office. Thorough exam, given time for questions, and after care plan given. Felt like the practioner actually cared. Prescription submitted quickly. Very thorough patient clinical summary of my visit, including vitals, given at checkout. Will use again!

This clinic has always gotten me in and treated me very well. Great staff and very helpful

My experience at the wichita falls location was Amazing ! the lady by the name Alexis was very attentive to my needs and very nice and personable made me feel 100% welcome and knew I would be getting the care I needed . Thanks 😊

Extremely disappointed and beyond frustrated with Community Med. I have gone here and brought my kids here for a few years and honestly never had an issue. Until this past week. My 19 year old daughter (who is on my policy), went here while I was out of town and was told by them that she needed a referral to see them. I spoke with front desk and told them to verify with insurance because that wasn’t true, urgent care doesn’t require a referral nor do we have a copay for urgent care and that she could even verify my other daughters last visit a month ago because we are all on the same plan. Not to mention how many other times we’ve been there on the exact same plan. Later I found out they charged her $150 to be seen. After speaking with my insurance and verifying no referral is needed and that we have no copay for walk in clinics I have been calling for a week and the clinic still has yet to submit a claim and won’t refund my college daughter money that she DOES NOT OWE and shouldn’t have ever of been charged had the contacted her insurance like they should have in the first place. Now that they know they’ve done wrong they won’t answer my questions, I’ve asked to speak to a manager and was told she’d have to call me back. I’ve been transferred to billing department only to not have anyone answer and of course the message I left Thursday still hasn’t been returned. I guess my next step is to start filing complaints and making sure everyone knows not to go here.Edit*** it’s now been almost 4 weeks and there still has been no help with my issue. They said this morning they finally submitted the claim 4 days ago, but when I called BCBS they said that is not true that they still don’t have a claim for it. And they are not issuing her a refund until the claim is submitted and BCBS pays, so we are literally sitting her helpless with absolutely no help from community Med and lying on topOf that. I really was hopeful that they would actually address this situation. But I can’t even get a phone call back.

I saw Claire and she was amazing and super sweet.! She was very emphatic to my situation and listened. She took great care of me and took my pain seriously.! I haven’t felt that comfortable with a Dr in so long.

I went in directly after an unpleasant experience with an urgent care adjacent place and they were amazing.They understood my frustrations and were able to get me pretty much in and out.The people they have working there are lovely and listen to your concerns and take the steps they think is necessary to give you the care you need.Definitely a new go-to urgent care.

Front Desk ladies were great, welcoming, very kind. The MA who escorted me to the room did not introduce herself or use any pleasantries. The doctor was not any better or any more helpful. Did nothing for me. Leaving worse than I felt when I came in with less money in my bank account. As someone who also works in healthcare, I am very disappointed.

This place is absolute garbage. They wouldn’t see my daughter because she has CHIP. (I know they don’t accept Medicaid, that’s fine) But, the lady said I still couldn’t get my daughter seen even if I paid out of pocket without using insurance. I didn’t even register with my insurance online but because SHE knew that she had CHIP she still wouldn’t let me pay out of pocket. I can see why the medical world is a joke and a scam. I can’t even be seen using my own money to treat my child. This place is an absolute joke.Note: My daughter has two different insurances and CHIP is always secondary to the primary insurance. Like, even with and without insurance I was still denied. (The first insurance is accepted there.) like, how crazy is that. They have an option to pay with cash and they still don’t let you utilize it.

Came for for a workplace injury with my back, a month of visitations, no tests were ran. I got some muscle relaxers and sent on my way. And every consecutive visit my health was judged on my ability to touch my toes and do a twist to the left and right which were movements I never had an issue to begin with. So I am back to full duty with essentially no treatment and no tests and the clinic gets a hefty paycheck from my job as the trade off.

Wonderful friendly Staff. Clean facility. Love the process not waiting in the lobby with other people. Sat in my Truck until it was my turn. Love it love it love it. The Staff and Doctor care about there patience. This will be my go to if no appointment is available with my Primary Doctor. Keep up the excellent work you do

My 10 month old was having a real bad reaction so I took her to this urgent care 10 minutes before they closed.they watched me pull in to the parking lot and take out my baby, then they locked the doors and turned off the open sign.apparently my babies sickness was not urgent for them or their problem when it is 10 minutes to closed. how messed up.

I left a one star review a few months ago, but now I need to leave another one. I waited a very long time to be seen, and when I called to see when they would let me in, the person I spoke to was rude. I told them I didn’t have the time to wait any longer, and I was hung up on. I never stepped foot in the clinic. Three months later, they send me a bill for a sick visit from that day. I called their billing department and said that I never never even entered the clinic. All she said was “disregard the bill.” She basically hung up on me after that. A week later, they said that I still owe money. I spoke to a different person in the billing department, and they said that the first person I spoke to never recorded my call or that the bill needed to be disregarded. How sad that I’ve never even stepped foot in the clinic and I’ve been hung up on twice, been rude to twice, and been billed when I’ve never even been there. Horrible service.

I had traveled to Wichita Falls to spend time with my son and his family, but didnt realize the cold I had would turn into something worse. I was looking for some Urgent Care and my son had recommended your clinic. I was able to get an appointment within an hour. The process for checking into the clinic was so easy. I was seen almost immediately. Everyone, from the front office staff to the providers, was excellent. This was by far the best medical care Ive received!! Great job!

I had to go for an injury to my wrist and the front desk, Alexis, was so nice and welcoming. The doctor Kathleen was great! She actually listened to everything I was feeling and I haven’t been to a doctor that nice and caring. They made me feel better after the bad day I had with this whole injury. The one who did my X-rays was making sure I was okay because some positions were u comfortable. Overall I am very thankful they were able to help me and treat me so well.

This place gets you in and out! Alexis was so sweet and knowledgeable!

The experience their was great. We went in right at 6:45 because my son had to get stitches. They got us checked in and in the back without any wait. The nurses and providers did a great job stitching my son up. He was very irate when he saw the how they numbed the laceration and they were excellent at calming him down and talking to him about other things to keep his mind away from what was happening. At one point they even had him laughing and he didnt even realize he was in the process of getting stitches. We were in and out very quickly. I would highly recommend this place.

Weve been here three times in the last month (unfortunately lol.) Being sick so much has sucked, but the staff at CMed are awesome. Ive never waited more than 15mins to be seen, and Ive always felt listened to and well cared for. Also being able to wait in your car is fantastic. Definitely recommend!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. The nurses and providers are always so kind. I am seen in a timely manner and receive text follow ups to make sure I’m doing well after the visit. I will only choose CommunityMed for my urgent care visits.

Easy to register online, seen quickly. Staff are friendly. Front desk person went above and beyond and provided me a printed copy of insurance card since I did not have access to it at the time. Facility is very clean. No wait to see providers. Very convenient. Glad my baby was able to be seen in the weekend right away! Very satisfied.

Absolutely loved my experience! I’ve visited several urgent cares and this one was by far the best. I checked in and was seen and out within 25 minutes. The price for service with no insurance was also very competitive and comparable to other urgent care prices. Will definitely be going back!

Had a great, easy experience. In and out in 20 minutes, there was no wait at all once I finished the new patient paperwork. Staff was very kind and caring, cash rate was reasonable. I had plenty of time to talk about my symptoms and ask questions. They got me taken care of with no stress or frustration at all. Will definitely use again when I need a clinic.

This place is not accessible. I would not have noticed for myself but my mother really needed to be seen and we were having difficulty with conflicting family appointments. She has mobility issues and isn’t great with smart phones. Plus, she was in a lot of pain. First, they don’t consider people who may not have their own transportation or who may not have smart phones or may not be able to easily use smart phones in their check-in process. Only go here if you have the ability to sit in your car and wait after checking in with your smart phone. Also, there was no ramp and my mother could barely get to the door with her walker. Then, they said they take Medicare but we found out after we went through the trouble to check in and everything that they don’t take Medicare if you also have Medicaid. Beware, this place is not friendly for lower-income or disabled patrons.

First time going here! Absolutely amazing experience! We were walk ins. We were taken back immediately and the longest part of the visit was filling out the paper work for my child and I. Tests were ran quickly and the NP came in right after. Amazing and friendly staff. Thank you so much for an awesome and quick experience!❤️

Super awesome care from beginning to end. The staff were very attentive to my 5yo who had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite. Highly recommend this place. Btw, we were in and out in 20 minutes!!!Nicole W. was very friendly and did a great job from beginning to end. She had a smile on her face and was seemingly happy to serve!Great job!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. I didnt have to wait at all for my toddler to be seen. The doctor was kind and knowledgeable. She spent time listening to my concerns and helped address the issue. The facility was very clean. We will definitely use this urgent care again!

I love how quickly I was in and out with my COVID results. The receptionist was very nice. The doctor however seemed to not want to be there, I don’t usually complain about this sort of thing but if patients are sick and you’re a doctor, the last thing we want to feel like is unwelcome. If you didn’t want to work around sick miserable people then maybe you should have chose a different profession. And I’d say that this was only to me but my coworker went there as well to get tested and she told me she felt the same way. Maybe a bad day for the doctor ? Who knows.

Today was my first time using them. I set an appointment time online and filled out all the forms needed online including sending my insurance information was simple and easy. Also I was in and out before my appointment time. Super friendly staff! Have been back several times before and always have gotten the best care!

Recently retired from the military and needed medications refilled but could not get anyone at my previous base on the phone to transfer meds. Got in to see the urgent care clinic in approximately 5 minutes from the time I pulled up. The staff is extremely friendly and Aubrey, the Nurse Practitioner, was not only friendly but very thorough in her evaluation of me. I was able to get my med prescription while waiting to see a provider on base. Great service and care!

I have had a chronic ear infection for the last 6 months, I was in so much pain when I went into the clinic I couldn’t see straight. Every single employee made me feel comfortable, treated me with respect, and truly cared for me. It was a good feeling to know I was in good hands!

Booked a school physical because I am moving out of state and have not been able to get an appointment scheduled in Texas nor in the new state. They would not let my son be seen for a physical even at the cash price because he is on Medicaid. I would be okay with that if they would advertise that on their website and physical flyer before we drove over just to have our time wasted.

I set up an appointment to have a COVID test November 26th between 2:00-2:30 pm. I was there and promptly checked in just before 2:00 pm. I then received a text notifying me that I was being checked in and that I could wait in my car. 2:46 pm rolled around and nobody came out to test me. I called and they said they were busy and that I was rescheduled for 3:18 pm. 3:32 pm rolled around (1.5 hours after my initial appointment) and still nobody came out to the parking lot to take my test. I called again from my vehicle out in the parking lot about a time frame. The lady on the phone was still unable to specify when someone would come out and collect my test. At that point I left.

Love this place! Such a great little clinic, the staff are very friendly and courteous. The wait times arent long at all, especially if you check in online. I love that they offer that!! NP Jana Vieth really takes the time to listen and answer any questions you may have. First place to go from now on, so glad Wichita has this little gem!!

My daughter woke up sick today, on a Sunday morning. This clinic was awesome! They opened at noon, and we were there right at noon. The check in process was simple, paperwork to be filled out was quick, and the receptionist so friendly. She quickly verified my insurance and informed me of my copay. We waited no longer than 5 minutes after the insurance verification was complete before we were taken back into a room. The nurse and nurse practitioner were both very thorough and knowledgeable. They recognized my daughter had symptoms of strep throat, performed a swab, which came back positive. Meds were prescribed, taking into account ones that she is allergic to. Its now 2:00 pm and we have already received the medication from the pharmacy, and on to the rest of our day. Id like to thank the professional and friendly staff here for a very pleasant experience.

I was seen two nights ago. The service was good. The nurse practitioner said I would be on antibiotics several times a day. When i told him my pharmacy wouldn’t open til the morning, he gave me enough to get me through the night.The problem-when I filled the Rx, the meds said twice a day. I called the office to confirm since it didn’t match what he told me in office but I wanted to make sure I understood correctly. They confirmed twice a day.I ended up in the ER the next night because my issue got worse and i was barely able to walk. The ER said the only thing that I should have needed was that same medication, several times a day. After some painful shots due to the progression, I am back on the same antibiotic at the correct frequency.

I came in yesterday to be seen and the PA was open and honest with me and felt with my medical history , I would be better served at the ER since I could not be seen on base . I appreciated that very much. I did go to the ER and after imaging and bloodwork, my heart is fine and I was diagnosed with pleurisy and bronchitis. Thanks for your integrity, honesty and professionalism. I will definitely recommend this clinic and send my family here. Thanks again ladies. Have a great day!

CommunityMed Family Urgent Care was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had going to the doctor. I was literally in and out in less than thirty minutes. Jessica the receptionist was fast and efficient . Nicole the MA was great, and Jana the nurse practitioner was so friendly, empathetic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone to use this facility A+++ Thank you all for an amazing experience at what is usually a much dreaded visit and wait.

Fast, friendly and efficient service. Caring staff. Never a long wait. Its way cheaper than the emergency room and faster than the walk in clinic at my primary care clinic as far as getting results for labs etc. Todays visit didnt render many answers, but that certainly isnt the fault of the facility or the ladies that took care of me. They cant do EVERYTHING an Emergency Room does, but if they can help, they will gladly do so.

Everyone from the receptionist, nurses and the NPs are ALWAYS so kind, courteous and extremely helpful. Jane V is our absolute favorite, she spends the time to get to know you, answer your questions, and helps put you at ease. She sincerely cares for her patients, never making you feel rushed to leave. I am so happy Wichita Falls offers such a great clinic, we will never go anywhere else!!

I took my son in for sick visit. The staff was great. They got us checked in quickly and took the time to run several labs. They were very professional and empathetic knowing he wasn’t feeling well.

Exceptional experience! The online check in combined with the telephone intake was seamless. The staff were pleasant and kind. We were there for a very short period of time with detailed results HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The nurse practitioner and the young lady that took vitals and administered the shot was very professional and pleasant. The clinic is very clean and the wait time for care is excellent!!The receptionist (Jessica) Ill assume was having an off day, rude on the phone and even worse once we arrived. Had she not hung up before I was finished asking questions, the rudeness once we arrived may not have happened. I understand we all have bad days.5 stars since the care recieved after leaving the waiting area was exceptional.

I went to Urgent Care at the urging from my daughter! I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is professional & extremely courteous. They are very good at their job. In just a short while I had a diagnosis and left armed with my prescription to get well. I highly recommend Urgent Care. They can get you on the road to wellness very quickly.

I knew so little about this place before today that I didnt even know it was there. I was in quick need of getting my child to a Dr and saw this place had great ratings which I was skeptical of but tried it anyways. Come to find out that the bedside manner of Navi with my child and the politeness of the rest of the staff fully deserve all 5 stars if not more. While waiting for the appt my child needed to use the restroom and they let us come in to use their facilities without hesitation before they were ready to call us in the building 👏

Always extremely fast & friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great walk-in experience. Ive used this location twice- once for my sons strep throats and once for myself for an eye infection. Both times I was in and out in about 30 minutes! Great place for those without a primary physician.

Very nice people. All your paperwork can be done via a text linked website. Husband was very relaxed once the nurse practitioner was calming his concerns.Clean waiting room. Friendly staff.Helped us within minutes .Referred us to hospital. As they do not have ekg or monitoring capabilitiesThank you for your help.

I had the most interesting moment at the Urgent Care, the ladies were very caring, and most caring. I mean they took very good care of me. I love the care that Jana the Physician Assistant is very caring. Today is August 21,2021 not feeling good aching in shoulder. I couldnt Scan bar code, I use the restroom and took a seat in the waiting area front desk call me maam you Dont address me name, you know who you interact and my name, please dont address me by that only my name. Very Slow. Unhappy with the service Today. Sitting in your call till they decide to call you

Very sweet, courteous staff. Definitely recommend them to treat your urgent medical needs. I was there for an injury requiring sutures and was seen in a very timely manner. Even though I kept them after closing hours, they assured me it was ok. I was so thankful I did not have to go to the Emergency Room.

I’m still in shock how super fast I was in and out. I’ve never experienced such timely and courteous medical care. I’m out here on business and had an allergy issue. I got here around 10am and was out at 10:22am. Because I was a new patient, the front desk paperwork took longer than the actual visit but it’s all good. I’m beyond pleased. Highly recommend!!

I live in California and come back for visits twice a year. This time, I had a minor issue that I really didn’t want to wait to get back home to deal with. They took my insurance, the staff was super friendly, and the service was faster than seeing my own doctor. I will go back to them in the future for any other issues not requiring major intervention (chest pain, etc).

I love my experience at the Community Med Family Urgent Care. They serve veterans and the staff is AMAZING. There wasnt a waiting time and they took great care of me and my needs. The staff is very personable. Thank you soo much. High praises to the Health care workers in that facility. GOD BLESS THEM and me for sending me there.

This was our second time there. Best help we have gotten for my wifes condition. The staff was very courteous and kind. It is so much better than any emergency room. They listened to her and were very helpful and concerned. Great place with excellent care. I highly recommend them.

So friendly and fast!!!! The nurses and practitioners listened and both asked and answered questions that made me feel like I was heard and well cared for while there. They took special care with my specific needs due to a compromised immune system and made suggestions to help avoid unnecessary exposure to germs. They were proactive with what I had been exposed to, ordered meds and I feel like they are some best health care providers in the area! Love this place!

This urgent care truly had the kindness staff and doctor. The doctor actually takes the time to listen. Which is really nice. And When you go through there you just know youre in good hands.

I was out of town and got a metal sliver on my eye. Found this urgent care with Google search. Nice receptionist welcome and was in a room to see the doctor within 15 minutes and filing out a few forms.The doctor going the metal piece and had it removed quickly. Called in done eye drops to a pharmacy and I was on my way.In and out in about 40 minutes. Very nice people.

This place is fantastic. I was passing through Wichita Falls when I got pretty sick and needed to be seen. The nurse practitioner and front desk staff were helpful, unknowledgeable, and took better care of me than my own general practitioner. I was seen, treated, and had a prescription in hand within a half hour.

It was the convenience of a quick appointment with all the quality of a long time family doctor. I appreciated the insightful questions and attention to symptoms. I definitely felt like my problems were addressed and that proper actions were taken to help speed my recovery. Thanks for being a great heath care center.

Had the most pleasant experience with my visit, despite the pain I was feeling. Starting with Alexis at the front desk. She was so kind and cheerful to tend to me and bring the check in pad to me in the waiting room due to me having difficulty walking. Cammil showed the same care and brought a wheelchair to me to go get the X-ray. She knew I was in pain, so I really appreciated the extra care she took with trying to position my ankle as gently as possible. The PA Jenna was awesome. She really showed compassion and concern. She gave me the best care possible over and beyond. I appreciate her willingness to get my referral sent over asap. I have never seen such a well rounded group of service providers that truly worked so well in getting me through. Although I was in a lot of pain, I could not help but smile at each one of them because they were so nice and professional. Job well done Alexis, Cammil, Rose and Jana!!

Our daughter attends MSU... We were able to select a time of arrival (to get in line to be seen) and fill out patient forms all online. We were driving from an hour away to pick her up and take her to an urgent care facility, and since we checked in online, she moved up the patients list. They were very quick, thorough, and professional.

Passing through Wichita Falls I found myself in need of an Urgent Care. I had a great experience here- it was clean, nice and everyone there was super nice and helpful. The doctor was excellent! I waited maybe 2 min. It was the BEST experience I have had at an Urgent Care Facility. Highly Recommend!

From check in to check out, so quick and easy. Were visiting Wichita Falls, so were not local. My 6 year old nephew came down with strep with some crazy nausea and vomiting. We have to drive back home tonight, so we needed vomit relief asap. She prescribed meds quick to get him comfortable asap. Thank you for seeing him so quickly and efficiently.

This is my second time at this facility first time was for covid testing in January. The wait was over 30 mins however I was sick and just slept on my vehicle waiting. They didn’t write any scrips to assist in my treatment and just sent me on my way after a positive result.Second time in august for a pre employment drug screening. I walked in at 1015 emailed my paperwork and got told to wait in my vehicle and fill out more paperwork on my phone. At 1045 I called asking how much longer as I needed to pee before I arrived at 1015 thinking it would be a quick process. They finally called me at 1100, by this time I was in pain. The wait was horrible.I gave two stars because the staff is kind and the place is clean.

All the staff are always very professional, kind and understanding. I can get a bit grumpy when Im not feeling well. They still greated me with a smile. They went above and beyond to take care of my husband and myself today. THANK YOU!

From the time we walked in the door we were treated way better than we ever had been at other doctors office/ Emergency room. Alexis, Cammil, Nicole, and Vicki all were exceptional! Thank you for getting us in and out within 40 minutes.

I love this Urgent Care Clinic. It doesnt feel like a doc-in-a-box at all. Everyone of the staff are friendly and care about putting you at ease. The wait was very reasonable. The facility is clean and up to date. I highly recommend them!

We’ve been to Community Med quite a few times so much they remember us! We love the convenience of making an appointment online, filling out the paperwork online and getting in and out with ease! All the nurses and providers have always been amazing!

This was a good and thorough assessment of my current illness. The nurse was kind and the Dr. knew her medical knowledge, like what works best for various diagnosis. I’m glad I went in and got answers I feel rough, but hoping for the best

The facility was very clean, modern,inviting, and there was NO wait! The PA who evaluated me was fast, friendly, and professional. The entire staff was helpful and nice. I highly recommend this facility, especially if you want to avoid high prices and long wait times!

I scratched my eye ball and it was hurting.i dont have any insurance.. These people were awesome. I had my 18 month old daughter with me. Took about 10 min if that to fill out paper work and get called to a room. Dr. was nice, good with my daughter, and was out of there probably 20 min total with a prescription I needed. it only cost 125$.

I love CommunityMed! Our pediatrician doesn’t have clinic hours on the weekend, and I feel like that is when we most often have an “urgent” issue with one of our kids. The staff is so kind, and I have never had to wait very long at all to be seen and treated. Today Alexis, Cammil, Rose, and Jana, took great care of my son and had us out the door in no time.

Thank you to the staff, I had to take myself, daughter, and infant son into the clinic today for different reasons. I had very little wait time and the staff were incredible. We were done in under an hour. Thanks for making my day so much easier. I appreciate you all so much !

Saw Dr Blaine today for flu like symptoms. He was awesome. He quickly and accurately diagnosed me. Staff was super nice as well. They have definitely gained a new patient. I highly recommend.

This place is a blessing. Very fast. Very efficient. The staff were all friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. We were on a long trip, and I needed medical attention. We stopped on our way up to the Panhandle. They took care of me. They answered every question, and gave me all the information, and meds that I needed. You are in good, capable caring hands when you stop here. Then when we came back through I still wasnt feeling well, so we stopped again, and it was the same way. They are so consistant, and they remembered us. I felt in good hands, and at ease there. The were very patient, and kind. Location has extremely slow service and uses the “text when arrived” method of service. I showed up 10 minutes prior to appointment and was run through the same questions I already submitted to the location via online appointment booking through their website. I waiting for 20 mins and still was not called in. Finally called the office to check the status of the wait to which the receptionist said they had only received the arrival info 5 mins ago and implied I was lying about the wait time. Then I was told that they could not read my TB skin test because of policy. I attempted to confirm with a supervisor and was handed off the practitioner, Josh West, who was incredibly arrogant, rude and condescending. Never have I experienced such unprofessional behavior from a medical “professional”. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Very nice experience. Went early evening. Staff was very nice and Kristina, nurse practitioner, took her time discussing things with us. Saw us within 2-3 minutes after paperwork filled out. Highly recommend.

Had some testing done here and everything went smoothly. Their check-in/sign-up services is so efficient and easy. The staff was super nice as well. I will definitely be back if I need their services again.

Very nice people. Only complaint is the online check in was a bit confusing. I actually made 2 appointments and had to delete one. Also the calendar for date of birth on my phone wouldnt allow me to type in the date, had to scroll back to 1958 to enter.

I found myself feeling very, very unwell and decided to go to the urgent care walk-in clinic. It was a clean, organized facility, and everyone was professional, courteous, and kind. I love this place! This is the second time Ive came here and the Dr seemed to have remembered who I was. He explained my symptoms and made me feel at ease. Being pregnant, any little symptom can be very alarming. He reassured me and asked if I had any further questions, very patient. The staff is very friendly!

With three little ones, we are constantly battling a sickness in our household and I have been here multiple times and get in and out so quickly! I love the staff too. You don’t lose out on the quality of care and I trust their expertise.

We had an excellent experience at Community Medical Family Urgent Care this evening. My son who is in college was in need of medical attention. I was able to receive information promptly regarding insurance and billing questions. The staff were very professional and courteous. They provided several platforms for communication. As the parent of an asthmatic living away from home, I was relieved he was able to attain prompt and professional medical care. He called an hour later stating an improvement in his health. I showed up 5 minutes before close. 1 X-ray 2 stitches, a shot for pain and a 1 sling later.... I was out in 30 minutes even including paperwork. The staff was phenomenal. I was so embarrassed and they were so professional and kind despite my keeping them late. This is our new “go to”. Other urgent care clinics in our area can’t compare.

Went in for Covid on July 12th. The front desk staff were friendly and helped me fill out my paerwork.I was seen in minutes by the doctor who treated me with respect,dignity, and care.He sat in the room with me and discussed my health in a caring manner. He listened to my concerns.He was going to precribe me a medicine but did not after he took the time to research and see that it would interact with the medicines Im already on. All around a great doctor. Wish he was a PCP because we need more like him thats for sure! I will go back if I ever need to. Thank you to the staff and Doctor here.

I took my daughter there today (10/21/2017) and we had a great experience. The 3 ladies that were there were very kind and the receptionist greeted me as soon as we walked in. The visit was fast and straight to the point. The nurse and Dr. Krysla were very nice. Dr. Krysla was quick to diagnose my daughter and gave me instructions on what to do. I just want to say Thank you ladies again. Also, the price is very reasonable and inexpensive if you dont have insurance. If we ever need medical assistance agian I will definitely be taking my family back.

My daughter had a sore throat and her ears were hurting. Our doctors office was closed so we decided to check them out. Everyone was very nice and we were in and out in 10 minutes. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed. Oh and Jana Vieth the NP was amazing.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. I had been in pain for several days and was quickly diagnosed and prescribed medication. It is now just a little over 3 hours and my pain is about 98% better. I am so pleased that I chose to go to CommunityMed.A d now it is 6 hours later and no pain

Amazing service, Alexis and Bethany were amazing! My roommate was a few minutes from death and they pulled a Mr. Miagi to get him well. If you want service with a smile and excellent professionals go here. They have a Keurig and they didnt even charge me to get my height and weight! 10/10

This place is AMAZING. My daughter is away at college and was so sick. They took great care of her! Helped us to find a pharmacy close to campus to call meds into and were so thorough and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Everyone was incredibly nice, even though there was an issue with my insurance they did all they could to work with me & even called my insurance to see what the issue was. They were very quick but didn’t skimp on customer service one bit. I was very impressed with them!! I was a bawling mess & they were very caring!

We are not from the area and needed to be seen. This place was easy to find. It is a very clean clinic and the staff was very friendly. The wait time was very short which is what you want when you are not feeling well. They got me diagnosed and on my way very quickly. I would definitely go back again if I was in the area.

Because I developed my urgent need before opening time, I was able to set an appointment and checkin online. After arriving (ahead of my appointment time), the desk took the remainder of my information and copay. I was escorted to the exam area at my appointment time. The NP was friendly and approachable. We worked together to address my urgent health concern. As others have written, the facility is clean and well-equipped. I am satisfied with my care and experience at CommunityMed Urgent Care in WF. Since I didn’t have a true emergency, this facility and the lower cost was a perfect match for me on this day. I would return for similar or equally non-emergency concerns in the future.

Wonderful place. We came in near closing time and they welcomed us in even when they didn’t have to. Everyone there was extremely friendly the doctor was outstanding! Definitely would recommend.

By far my favorite place for care. As of today, Ive had at least one visit per family member. Each experience has been nothing less than amazing. The staff is kind and caring. Professional Staff, Compassionate and Caring. I was in pain when I came into the office, my regular providers office was not able to see me due to Covid. Without getting into details the NP that saw me (Kathleen) was great. I hadnt been able to sleep more than an hour at a time for several days and was barely able to swallow or eat. 24 hours later, Im not 100%, but am definitely recovering as I can sleep and eat. I cant thank all of you enough.

I went in for a bad migraine and uncontrollable vomiting. And was seen in less then 10 mins it took me longer to fill out my new patient forms. They are very friendly and efficient! My pain and nausea was under control quickly! I would most definitely recommend CommunityMed Urgent Care to my family and friends.

I would recommend this place over United Regional for anything that is not a major emergency.They treat flu, strep, can do X-rays, and Etc.Never spent more than 35 min for my entire family, and they always give Dr. notes for school and work as well as full information on your condition.5 stars!!!

Cant say enough good things! Everyone was extremely courteous and professional....but maintained a warm and caring atmosphere. I was treated promptly and all concerns addressed. They even gave me directions to an after hours pharmacy since Im from out of state. Would definitely go back.

Medicaid/CHIP insurance is not taken but they also will NOT see those patients at all even if you are willing to pay out of pocket. I mentioned my daughter having CHIP insurance at the time of registration. I was not told my daughter could not be seen at all initially. I asked for the out of pocket cost and told the scheduler I would pay cash. From what I recall, the website did not say either that medicaid/CHIP pts couldnt be seen at all no matter any other form of payment. After driving an hour one way and waiting a while to be seen and even giving a UA, we were then told my daughter could not be seen at all. Its a holiday, weekend, and there are no open clinics locally where we are from. The other urgent care here was already full and we could not be seen there either by that time. So, this is a heads up to Medicaid/CHIP pts. I have received care here in the past and I was very happy with their care otherwise.

Making online appointment was quick and easy. Once there the wait was less than 5 minutes and the entire staff was pleasant and professional. Extra kudos to nurse practioner Kristie for her thorough explanation and extra information on my questions.

After bad experiences at multiple urgent care centers and walk in clinics, this urgent care is the only one I will go to! There is almost never a wait, they have the friendliest staff, and the cleaniest facilities! I trust these people like I trust my primary physician and his staff. Brought my 13yr old daughter in for what turned out to be bronchitis and they took excellent care of her! While waiting on the results from the chest X-rays they could hear how bad her cough was from outside the room and came in and gave her a breathing treatment to help. We were in out and within 30 mins. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Ended up having a severe reaction to my deodorant leaving blisters and a lot of pain. Nicole, Liz, Jana, and Bethany were the girls that took care of me and boy did they do a fantastic job! Extremely sweet and actually cared about my issue. I’ve been to a lot of walk-ins/medical care facilities and this was by far the best I’ve been treated both medically and professionally. We always come here (literally always. We see them more than our PCP), and always feel comfortable and happy. Quick, caring, and community. Aubree always treats us like we’re old friends, and our daughter is taken seriously and cared for properly.

Very impressed with the staff and the provider Robert Rozell. Ive heard horror stories about going to the ER during these unprecedented times especially presenting covid symptoms, but they treated me so good. The visit was quick and the PAs communication was 5 stars.

They are wonderful. They are always helpful, kind and quick. Cammil was wonderful with talking to my little to make the xray less scary. Alexis and Nicole are always so helpful! Highly recommend to anyone who wants quick, yet quality urgent care.

Community Meds online registration tool was SO SIMPLE and convenient. I was able to fill out all of the necessary paperwork ahead of time, cutting the wait time down to nothing. The last thing you want to do when you are sick is sit is a waiting room forever. Highly recommended.

I came in feeling very ill, the nurses and the doctor were very nice, but the doctor came in took a look and a listen and then just pushed it off like I had the flu or Covid. They tested me for both and both came back negative. They did nothing else to help me with my pain.

Wichita Falls’ best kept secret! Even with new insurance paperwork, I was in and out in 28 minutes. Many thanks to Alexis, Cammil, Nicole and Vicki for taking care of me. They even called to check on me the next day. Will always go here for minor urgent care issues.

First time around was a very pleasant experience, the past experience will probably be the last, wife came in for nerve pain in her sinus/tooth. Has happened once before, and was given what was needed till she could see the dentist. This time around she was told nothing would be given for her pain , and a antibiotic. We both felt judged, but seeing as she hasnt been able to sleep much since it started I asked if there was anything they could give for the pain, she said take OTC Ibuprofen that they werent going to give us anything today.My wife has several autoimmune conditions, she takes ibuprofen all the time and was before we came in, very little effect, seeing as its a nerve issue. Antibiotic prescribed was incompatible with her conditions and existing medications, got it changed, great, asked about anything extra or home remedies for pain, and was told by the same doctor if she wanted anything for pain we were welcome to come back in for another appointment and copay to get her something. Nurses were great, as usual and the reason I didnt give one star. Maybe some fault on our end, but we both felt as though she wasnt being taken seriously.

Should be 0 stars. They denied giving wellness checks to my kids. I signed up online and filled out ALL the required paperwork. Only after arriving at the appointment time did they say oh we dont give wellness checks to kids under 12. Its our policy. But nowhere is it stated online! Nor is there any hint of this limitation when registering online where this policy should be made clear. Completely unsatisfactory. The lady said, Yeah the website will let you sign up for anything. But they dont see you for anything, so maybe theyll think about fixing it. Regardless, they lost my business so now Ill go to a competitor.

I wasnt seen but my brief impression was positive.I had a swollen knee and as i mentioned my issue i was politely informed they could examine it but couldnt drain it (thus wasting my time), they were quick to refer Neighbors emergency center (see my review there) which i proceeded to visit.Communitymeds staff was welcoming and polite. The lobby was tidy and clean.

Alexis and out PA were excellent, professional and friendly. Our medical assistant Nicole was the sweetest and made us feel so welcome. Such a great smile!

Injury. Required stitches -New to the area, unplanned visit for laceration. This urgent care facility is excellent. Very clean. Well staffed with courteous, professional personnel. Alexis, Cammil and Practitioner Vicki Voss make it look easy. Definitely consider going for regular patient care.It wouldnt let me put in a new one. So, I am adding on for 08/2020.So, I have used this place for my familys immediate health care and I have for the most part been satisfied with their services, especially NP Vieth and her interns. But, lately, I have not been so with the administrative. It is unfair to even mention it because I think they have an excellent clinical team, but for the attitude and somewhat dismissive nature of the admin. Being a clinician myself and a former medical admin troop I am well aware when medical administration falls short and for me they have. I am always willing to show grace, but when a person or an institution will not acknowledge their own errors and the inconvenience their missteps have caused a client it bothers me. One should go out of their way to make it right! I had to poke and prod and even lose my face to get a clerk to do for me what couldve and shouldve been done from the gate, but for their nonchalant attitude.During these times it is a customers market! We have choices! We may get the best care from a place but if there is something or someone that is indifferent to the business they are getting you truly are looking to take your chances elsewhere. Do we not recognize the numerous urgent care facilities that have closed and sat dusty and empty? Why? Maybe because they had a clerk or clerks just like the one I encountered that didnt understand the bigger role they played in the whole of things. Wonderful clinicians, but they are marred by the un-professionalism of their administrative staff. Eating up front! Unkempt uniforms and snide. I usually dont talk about teens and the youth, but be careful of leaving some youth alone to their own devices as the immediate point of service and follow-through for your business.

Wait time was great. I think I was there less than 15 minutes total. Staff was all really nice. Sent the prescription right away to be filled. I had a really good experience.

I LOVE CommunityMed Family Urgent Care in Wichita Falls. I have been using them for a little over 2 years now and they are helpful to every member of family, 2 years old to my husband. Kerstie is always very welcoming when you come in the front door, she doesnt even have to ask my name, she remembers! The radiology tech, Cammil is very sweet and professional. Nicole is also a personal favorite, she remembers our family well and knows us all. Now the reason I keep coming back is Jana Vieth, she is a GOD SEND to our family. Short wait times, very sweet, explains things well, listens and always makes sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends.

I took my daughter here for an urgent care visit a few weeks back. They got us back quick, but there was also no one in front of me. What really irritated me was I took the time to write down information in the check in form, what medical condition she had and what medications my daughter was on etc. When it came time to prescribe medication it was clear she didnt even look at my daughters information. Whats the point of medical history if you do not even look at it?Also, another kid vomited (because of his neglectful mother) in the waiting room on 2 chairs and all they did to clean it was lysol wipes and a swiffer mop.

The larger Hispanic woman working the front desk was one of the rudest people I’ve come across in any healthcare facility within the Wichita Falls area. I have personally never had to deal with someone so hateful for absolutely no reason. She should really find a different job where she doesn’t have to speak to other human beings and try to ruin their day.

I went in for a rapid response covid test 3 hrs ago and still dont have my results they said it would take 15 to 20 min and I need the results for a run Im doing. Hope they get in soon or I cant compete in the event I paid for.

This urgent care is the best urgent care I have ever been to. They really truly care about their patients. They even remembered me when I went back quite a bit later. The nurse that I had the previous time even came in to check on me. I wish they could be my primary care dr!!!!

Came in filled out paper work and was out with in 30 minutes. My son had an ear infection and after 24 hours is back to his normal self! Price is great as well. 125 with out insurance

My dad had a serious gealth scare the day after Thanksgiving and could barely breathe. The staff here was extremely helpful especially provider Janna who administered 3 breathing treatments, chest x ray and waited for results, and contacted pharmacy to ensure all necessary medications were ready for us before we left the building. She even completed her chart notes so we could get a medical device right afterwards ensuring insurance would cover it (and his health!) Highly reccomend this place and provider Janna to keep your loved ones healthy and out of the ER and hospital. Blown away by their effectiveness and service, so thankful!!!!

It was horrible the nurse practitioner was not very nice. They dont listen to you when you try to explain what is wrong, in the end I gave up and let them say whatever they wanted even though it made no sense at all. But the office staff was awesome. They are very quick to fix any concerns you have!

Went to check in on 11-14-21 at 12 noon, the scan didn’t work. No one answered the phone and the doors were locked. Banged on window , still no answer. We saw dr or nurse go in back door at 11:55 but no one ever opened the front doors. Finally left at 12:15… ridiculous!!! There also a child waiting to get in. Won’t go back!!!

Urgent Care of Wichita Falls- I am so grateful for prompt and on-target care! Visiting three boys 5 and under, I always seems to pick up something that gives me serious respiratory issues. Is my weak point. CommunityMed to the rescue. I was able to enjoy the rest of my visit and a great flight home.

I went in not feeling well I did paperwork and they got me back in real quick no wait at all they went over everything checked me I had flu and sinus infection. They went over my meds they were all very nice and helpful. And visit was not as much as other places. I would definitely recommend going here than waiting hours at ER or other clinics where they are not so nice.

Very friendly staff, we were in and out in less than 30 mins. and I am so relieved that we found somewhere that we could go for a minor issue, instead of going to an emergency hospital or waiting until the morning to see our own Dr.

Are you thinking about going here but have worries? Your intuition is right! Please, learn from my experiences. I was billed for services that I didn’t have done.Not only that, the big problem with this place, if there is an issue with billing or insurance (and there always is, when has medical problems/billing ever gone smoothly), these people have no support to help you because they are not a normal hospital.I had to take 6 months of my own time and effort to fight bills that I never had service for and others that my insurance would have payed if community med had billed correctly.Trust your gut, this place is shady.*p.s. community med responded and said they did not see me and have no record of me. My google user-name is kid Ikarus... because it’s a nickname... not my real name.This all definitely 100% happened at the Wichita Falls location.Their response honestly just shows how shady they are!Also, the fact they had to issue a refund is cause for concern for EVERYONE ELSE! I had to fight for sixth months. I have a stack of letters from community med that threatened me to pay for services I didn’t receive or else my credit would be affected.The sad thing is that, like many others, I did not know they had fraudelently charged me. When I discovered it and brought it to community med’s Attention, they told me they could do nothing to fix it. I spoke with many supervisors for community med. They did their best to tell me I was wrong and I needed to pay. And then they told me they couldn’t help me.Beware of this place, they will do whatever they can to take advantage of you!

Being from out of state & needing medical care & not familiar with anyone here, I chose Community Med Urgent Care from all the good reviews I found on line & I wasnt disappointed. No wait time, all the staff was very friendly & I was on my way in no time. Keep up the good work 👍

I got there and after filling out paperwork for a few moments. I was seen right away by the NP. She was really nice and explained everything to me. I really appreciate the care and time I was given.

We were referred to this urgent care from the base. My daughter was having some sort of non-life threatening, allergic reaction which covered most of her body and caused itching. Wasnt poison ivy/oak, food, or detergent related. They diagnosed it and prescribed proper meds in less than an hr. Im happy to say that the reaction was cleared up by the next afternoon after following their instructions.

Took my son today and they staff are very friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. Didnt have to wait just long enough for me to get his papers filled out. Solid place

I will definitely return to urgent care if I need any medical attention at all, especially on the weekends since their are no walk in clinics open or available in the area that I live in. It’s Well worth the drive. The staff were very courteous and very prompt and caring!!!! Thank you!!!

We had a slight soccer injury, and I wanted to make sure there was no sprain. Nurse practitioner examined it and ruled no X-ray as he could move it fine... Saved unnecessary money while giving me peace of mind that he is okay!

Experience was very comfortable with knowledgeable staff on hand to help with all my questions. They listen and treat accordingly. Better than the ER for so many reasons.

Staff is super friendly! I use to go to call field family practice and that staff was not the most welcoming but this staff was. I went in late a little before they closed and felt really bad but they assured me it was no problem. Will be going to this doctor for future issues!

The staff here is so nice and on top of it, we never have to wait and are in and out in 20 min I love NP Christina, she knows her stuff comes right in with good bedside manner and takes care of us. I highly recommend this Urgent Care!

Very pleasant experience, 1st visit to urgent care. Dr very sweet and caring, nurse was very reassuring. Receptionist very sweet and curious. Would definitely recommend to anyone for after regular dr hours needs

My visit only took a total of 20 min and I was pleased with the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely go there again when needed and recommend to everyone.

The service was fast and the front desk receptionist, Alexis, is always so helpful, very friendly and sweet, and knowledgeable when I ask a million questions before service.

We had a great experience here. We were seen right away and the staff was very helpful and kind. The doctor was knowledgeable and patient with our 2 year old.

I loved the visit , i was told i would get my results back in 2-3 hours but i got them back in less than 45 mins !i’ll forever come here everytime i’m down in wichita for college !

It was a nice 1st visit to the facility.Although I personally would have liked to see the bill and get a copy at the time of visit. I use Medicare and supplement Insurance and bill goes to them 1st, then eventually info of bill will be sent by Medicare.
