The experience of Birth with Dr Steven Raivins was really good. The whole team at the clinic and at the hospital was really good. My delivery went by smooth and natural without any tearing and c section. The whole team helped us stay calm during the situation and focus on following the birth.

My visit with Dr. Shapiro was very welcoming, targeted, efficient, and informative. It was my first time visiting the wood side location and I absolutely loved how quickly I was greeted, how easy it was to process my information and to be seen. My operation went smoothly. I appreciate Dr. Shapiro’s response and making me feel comfortable. I look forward to my next visit.

I know Dr. Claudia Ravins since early 2009 and every time I see her I feel like she is not just my doctor. She is great human being. She is friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and she did my surgery in late 2009. Absolutely love her. I always highly recommend her to my friends.

I like Dr. Irada Shapiro. She is gentle with the Pap exam and answers all my questions and concerns. However, it is ridiculously difficult to contact the office via phone. The office needs to hire an additional receptionist. When patients become frustrated trying to get through, they will sometimes decide to find another practice altogether. Also, Pap results should automatically be sent to the patient whether a positive or negative result.........I should not be in a position where I need to call over and over again because phones calls are being neglected.When I went to the office for my appointment, I specifically told Front Desk person that I needed a copy of my results sent via USPS and the young lady told me that she would comply with my request, which she failed to do. Where does Dr. Shapiro find these employees, on a bench at the Port Authority Bus Station? By the way, have the patient bathroom cleaned on a regular basis... its dirty, filthy every time I come in and no extra toilet paper or paper toweling on hand.Get your act together.

I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Claudia Ravins as my surgeon for a Myomectomy. Dr Ravins performed a process called a mini lap as I had a massive fibroid along many other small ones. My surgery went incredibly well, I was well informed at all times regarding my procedure. Her office was extremely helpful in keeping me up to date with all that was needed and next steps. I am beyond grateful for all care provided before, during and specially post op. Thank you Dr. Ravins! To say the least, Raveco Medical is now my OBGYN practice and I intend to one day have kids and have them delivered by Dr. Ravins husband!

Front desk should be more respectful towards the patients. I asked for a mask when I arrived and was told we don’t have any you could go across to buy one then was advised to sit outside like an animal due to not having a mask, also she was very rude and since I told her I wasn’t buying a mask she asked me If I would like to reschedule my appointment for not wanting to purchase a mask. Meanwhile there were 2 woman and a man without a mask inside the waiting area. Things have been a bit off for a while with the staff hopefully with new management things could get better. Wanted to thank Elvira for her respectful manners and way of being! Hopefully with her coming on board things could get better!

Dr Ravins is thorough, professional and caring. They are great with results and follow up care. I receive reminders through email, text and calls. I totally recommend her services.

I waited about 1 hr 45 mins to see the doctor. It was a follow up visit. I must say dr Raven is very knowledgeable and has a calm spirit about her. I was very comfortable speaking with her about all my issues and she did give me some sound recommendations.

Theirs not enough words to say how thankful I am to all of the wonderful Drs and the staff at Raveco Medical. My pregnancies have always been high risk and it is because of the wonderful Dr Shapiro , Dr Olkowski, & Dr Steven Ravins That I’ve successfully delivered my three precious babies . Not only is their professionalism something I truly admire but the Drs here are truly sympathetic towards their patients and always go the extra mile to assure you are receiving the BEST care posible 💗

Very rude staff. I work in a medical office I will try to find out where to really complain about that medical staff. Today July 15th 2022 I have the worst experience of my life with this people. Everything was so shady .. first I went there to get again a referral that I lost so I made an appointment just for that they charged me a copay for that. I asked for the old referral they got new computer they need me to see the doctor again. Fine.. which now I think how a medical office lost her records when they aré supposed to have it for more than5 years. Ok anyway I pay whatver was the charge Cash because they don take card which is also shady maybe they dont want to report that cash. Bug fine I got my referral. I did an sonogram on my breast the radiology told me I have a cyst. So at my age 40 im supposed to get an mamogram I called to the office trying to get that referral to make the next appointment and have all the test necessary for a diagnostic.. they told me again I have to see the doctor for a mammogram referral , I explain by phone the situation and the next app available was going to be either in a month with another doctor or 2 month with the doctor I was supposed to see… well since is just a paper I asked if was doctor there that day (today ) they said not she just called out. I went there to get my medical records because they are UNREACHABLE and DONT CaRE When I was there I asked for the doctor they said oh she is coming at 10… then a patient came for her appointment . When I asked , they told me they haven’t start working so why did u answer the phone. She said she didn’t have a phone there which was another ridiculous lie because the phone just ringed and they answered it when I was there So this 3 ladies very rude, lazy are not doing her job plus they have cero ethic to work in the medical field , im very sure the one supposed to be the doctor assistant has not medical knowledge or any training, I cant believe it. Very disgusting !

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shapiro for 16yrs and I will NEVER change doctors. She gives you her time, I never feel rushed and I appreciate that. She is simply amazing!!!!

The long wait was too much. I had a 1130 appt. I finally seen around 1:30 pm. I know it was backlogged but too much. The doctor is fabulous !

We had a great experience with the staff ! I was in labor for 18 hrs but I had so much support at Mount Sinai! Dr Olwkalski told me I would have my sun on Saturday or Sunday and I sure had him on Sunday! We are so happy thank you all

One of the worst practices ever !! You call them for an appointment and/or a query and they put you hold for hours at end. Very rude. Unbelievable how one can survive with this attitude and workplace ethic !! Maybe one can call them at inception and they will pick their line up by delivery time !!

Terrible communication. Long wait even for scheduled appointment. Never ordered my prescription and when I followed up a month later, was told it would be expedited. It’s been weeks and no word. No one answers the phone. Messages left and no return calls.

I had my first child this morning @ 2:20 a.m. with the help of a fantastic doctor , nurses , and God! If I could ever imagine a perfect birth it would be this one ! Of course minus the contractions but soon had epidural and then was able push out baby w/ 4 pushes yes only 4 PUSHES !! My little Emmanuel came into this world just how I always dreamt ❤️

I give Dr. Shapiro 4 stars for excellency on the date that I had service with her. She is respectful, professional and understanding. Thank you.

No one ever picks up the calls, rude staff don’t even waste your time here. Receptionist will cause this facility to go down hill.

Terrible customer service. I’ve been trying to reach the Woodside office for a week, and no one answers the phone. I come to the office during open hours and no one is in. Almost impossible to get anyone to speak with, and they don’t use any kind of electronic services, so you are dependent on them being in the office or answering the phone.
