Mesdames OBGYN Laure Lauriston, MD, FACOG

Dr Laure is Absolutely amazing. She is very professional, attentive, and organized. The office is very clean. She is very nice and gentle and will not make you feel uncomfortable in any type of situation. Honestly she’s the best Doctor I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many!She has 2 locations and their is parking.She’s a 5 star!Only thing is that the people at the help desk who make your appointments need to be a little bit more professional and nice. They sometimes answer the phone very rudely or they won’t answer at all.

I had a little bit of a wait this time. 5 people in waiting room and another after me. When patients were called in it went quicker. Had a wait in the room and very cold in the exam room. Staff are professional could have a little more attention to detail. Should greet each patient. Make sure the bathrooms are well supplied with soap and paper towels. Still waiting for the set up email for the patient portal. Request made twice. Was give the incorrect mammogram order and needed to return. It was given directly to me from the doctor. Doctor is lovely and competent and she listens.

Wait time is too longggg because they overbooked patients at the same time. I came here during my half hr break expecting to be seen on my appointment time but I’ve waited an hour just to be seen for less than 5 mins! And It’s been a month now since I did the check up and still gotten no updates yet from the Dr. I’m still going to give two stars because the Dr is nice however the employees should be more friendly and welcoming.

I made an appointment at 4:00pm. However I wasn’t seen till about 4:30pm, as Laura was late to the office. I understand if she was backed up due to having other patients, but this was not the case. It is unprofessional to arrive late to your practice, as people make appointments for a reason. Then when I asked the front desk why I haven’t been seen yet, they were rude and sloppy and said “she’s running late”. I feel the front desk could’ve been more professional and understanding. I have experience working front desk, patients see the receptionist before they see the doctor and appearance is important as it’s where patients get their first impression. If staff looks messy and un neat, you can only get such an impression for the doctor. That same day I had questions and concerns, but I feel my questions and concerns were left in the air and I did not receive the answers or knowledge I was hoping for. On top of that they spelled my last name wrong and I corrected the front desk and it was never fixed. I was sent to do some blood work however, I was not able to get it done as my last name was spelled wrong, “indicating it wasn’t me” .Also, They have a $40 dollar fee for missed appointments. However I was not informed about this prior to my appointment till I missed my appointment and received a voicemail saying I owed $40 due to not arriving to the appointment. They have a text message reminder that’s states “reply Y to confirm appointment”. I never confirmed it so was confused. It honestly makes no sense to have a system that asks to confirm the appointment, when the appointment isn’t confirmed and you “miss it” You get a missed appointment fee. Save your time and money and go else where. Since then I’ve been to a different practice and have received abundant information and knowledge and have had a better experience with the front desk.

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.The doctor is great, love her! BUT the staff is absolutely HORRIBLE. They are rude, fight against you every step of the way, they are not interested in helping you in any way. They DO NOT take down your messages, they simply dont care. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

This practice is terrible on many levels! Most recently I found out Dr. Lauriston does not have hospital privileges at the hospital stated on her website or any other hospital. I found out in week 38 of my pregnancy because I went to the hospital for another health issue. She never disclosed and the nurses informed me that NONE of her patients have been informed and are coming in to give birth not knowing she won’t be delivering their baby! Second the staff is rude, lazy, and don’t follow up as scheduled. They do not call with lab or test results and always seem disinterested in being helpful. Third the bathroom is never completely clean! There has been a nasty bottle of cruddy soap in there for months and no paper towels. Fourth they are careless, my NIPT bloodwork had to be done twice because they used an expired kit the first time and then I was never told the results after the second time. Side note the person who took my blood the second time was so sloppy and got blood on my clothing. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE!

I been going to her for years and I never had a problem. She delivered my twins in July 2016 and my last daughter October 2019. Office is very clean and all the staff members are very professional and sweet at all times. I would recommend a lot of ladies to her cause she’s the best

If I could give it Zero stars I would. I ask for a patient portal to view my lab results and no results has been added. I called their office and no one is answering the phone straight to VM. Also on the day of the appointment the doctor rushed through it and didnt explain or give me much information to make me feel more confident. They were really nice in person, but lack the structure, organization, education and time. As a health care professional myself, she makes me now want to become a doctor, so I can provide better quality care for women...because im very disappointed in the care I received.

I love this Dr so much. I’ve been with her for the last 5 years now. She delivered my second child, and now will be delivering my third. She is just lovely, I’m very grateful to have found her.

I don’t know how she still has her job !

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I have never been so disgusted and frustrated with a medical professional in my entire life. The front staff and the doctors assistant were lovely, however the doctor was rude and dismissive from the second they walked in. After asking a question about a medical issue and explaining its impact on my life, the doctor, without performing any tests at all said “it was probably nothing serious.” This was said in a very dismissive tone, and when I said it was an issue serious to me, it was disregarded. I left the office feeling very defeated and frustrated, and will not be returning. Anyone hoping to meet with a compassionate doctor should not attend this practice.

Reading all these bad reviews is really hard to believe they are even true. Almost every woman I know goes to Dr. Laurinston and has said positive things about her and is the reason I started going. Shes very gentle as we all know some procedures can be very uncomfortable. Shes very knowledgeable and gave me a detailed explanation of everything I asked.

Best doctor ever!!! Been with her for the past 8 Years whenever you can’t reach her in the office her calls transfer to a cell you can always get in contact. she delivered 3 of my boys no complaints what so ever I recommend a lot of ppl to her practice! It does get busy but hey what do you expect when your a good doctor and everybody loves her service 🤗 -Ms.Ross 😁

Dr. Lauriston is the best OBGYN. She delivered my last child, but I wish I knew her from my first. She is professional and caring. She welcomes you with a worm smile and a conversation about your family. I never have to wait more than 15mn. Her staff are nice. I recommend her 1000%.

Worst doctor in the world.. doesnt know proper due dates.. dont request blood works from the center they send it to. They didn’t have none of my urine or blood or Pap smear results after a month of taking them. I was bed ridden for three weeks. I come back they didn’t even follow up call to see how I was doing . When I got there they didn’t even remember me. When I changed my doctors she requested the blood work, Pap smear and Urine test.. Do you know why. They lost it because before I went to the new doctors they kept telling me come back next week we we have it for you.. they did that for a month. Their staff is childish and unprofessional would stand in the corner whispering and looking. what the heck kind of doctor is that. Thank god my daughter came out beautiful and healthy and is 2 years old. no thanks to this place. I beg all pregnant women to stay as far away as possible from this place

I must say after having a male gynecologist for the last 9 years, I didnt know if I would be comfortable having a female gynecologist all of a sudden but Dr. Lauriston was very pleasant and kind and I didnt have any issues with my first visit. I came in, signed in, filled out the paperwork and was seen about 15 minutes after I completed the paperwork. Co pay was waived by my insurance since it was my first visit but I will have to pay for all follow ups. The office is clean, the wait time was short and the staff was pleasant. I will be returning. They have another location on Ludlow Street but I dont know if the Dr. Is Dr. Lauriston or someone else over there so I will stay at the North Broadway location. I hope that each follow up experience is as pleasant as the first. Thank you Dr. Lauriston and staff.

This is my first pregnancy. This is the first doctor I’ve seen at 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I haven’t had a pap smear in a while so the first thing she wanted to do was that. With out consult without getting to know much of my history. She didn’t say much to me before putting that large tube inside me and swabbing and then her fingers to feel my pelvis. Then without a peep she lubed the large stick to check for my baby and put it inside me. It was the my uncomfortable experience of my life. The only good thing about my experience was the staff at the front desk and the nurse who greeted me. I will be going somewhere else in the future.

Terrible doctor. The way the doctor was passive aggressive, dismissive and rude towards my girlfriend and her concerns in regards to our pregnancy infuriated me. This doctor was not gentle with her at all. My girlfriend was mortified by the end of the appointment and cried in the parking lot because of how rough the doctor was during her check up (pap smear, I think). She treated her like she was on an assembly line. Never again will I allow that doctor to go anywhere near her again.

It was my first visit and wow!! Dr. Lauriston is very warm, discreet and has superb bedside manners.The staff is second to none, especially Nicole, the doctor’s Assistant.Highly recommended!!

The doctor told me she wouldn’t be working with pregnant women anymore during my 6th month of pregnancy smh you would think she would finish seeing her pregnant patients before she just drops us in the most crucial time of our pregnancy

I am happy to find this OB/GYN. The doctor is very nice and listen what the patients need. I have came back to her clinic for 2nd time. All is good. I will recommend the doctor and the clinic. 10 out of 10.

Very efficient office. Dr Lariston is efficient and compassionate. She can sense when a patient needs additional assurance and will work to give them comfort.

Very lovely practice with attentive staff all around. From the doctor to the front desk to the assistants. I have been coming here for several years now and would definitely recommend it to other women.

I went to this place over a year ago and they send my lab work to a lab that my health insurance didn’t cover (out of network) now I’m stuck with a bill of $1,700 and my insurance refuse to pay it. It was this office mistake and now they don’t even help me solve the problem. The first time I noticed the problem they said that everything was solved that I shouldn’t worry about it anymore. Now I’m getting bill from a collection agency because clearly they didn’t do anything. I have called so many times and they keep saying that they are going to call the lab and they are going to call me back. They never did. If you are smart enough avoid this place completely!!! They are very unprofessional and I don’t even know what to do anymore. I hope this help other people yo avoid this issue.

There is no AC in the building.One of the rooms is an actual storage room, no privacy, staff is in and out.I called 3 times, emailed, and sent a fax from my new doc to get records with no response in 12 weeks and still no response.I had to remind them of ACOG guidelines to get basic standard of care. PAP smear was not even offered.Genetic counseling concerns not addressed.Place of delivery not explained.Multiple unecessary appointments scheduled to just review results and not see patient. Then they try and schedule another appt weeks later to actually see the patient...rather than coordinating properly to reduce patients stress.Same questions about basic health asked multiple times, every visit.

They honestly never pick up the phone. i love the doctor shes amazing & ive been seeing her for a few years now. but the front desk lacks customer service. the front desk doesnt even check their voicemails because each time i try to leave a voicemail; the mailbox is full. ive called times and times before. 12 PM, 3 PM, 10 AM, 1PM. no answer. the phone rings and rings & its like these women are just gossiping behind their desk. the doctor is amazing! i would recommend her for anyone, but the front desk makes it impossible to even get an appointment.

When I needed my doc she was not in the office at 11 and trying to make a follow up appt she was off thurs, Fri, sat and sun. I switch docs there is no way I would trust this woman to deliver my child ,I would rather my husband than her. Also dont bother coming at your appt time. Her office will be full of people and she takes who she wants , very unprofessional

Doctor is very dismissive and always rushing during visits. She doesn’t take a few minutes to educate patients on what to avoid, or should be looking ok’ing out for with each pregnancy milestone. She hates being questioned when a patient is advocating for herself and automatically gets defensive. They did lab work for me and it came back abnormal. Doctor went on vacation and no one forward results to referred perinatal specialist. After two months, doctor hand me copy of result instead of faxing to give to perinatal specialist. I walked around for two with high blood sugar while my test result sat in her office collecting dust

Id like to say that this provider is listed as a participating provider with my insurance as an active provider but will only see clinic patients at 20 Park Ave. although she has all of her locations listed as participating. Further more, the most disturbing is that they charge self pay patients $250.00 which is well over what any insurance company reimburses an OBGYN whether it be medicaid or a private insurance. While I had high hopes in seeing a doctor that looked like me, it was clear that the office did not and unfortunately takes advantage by charging a self pay patient such an astronomical fee. Very disappointed.

Wish the waiting room was bigger expect to stand for a bit while! Other than that the nurse was very nice & so was the doctor! Waiting wasnt that bad either! Reception could use a smile

The entire staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Lauriston was patient and took time to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed and did not have to wait long to see the doctor.

I can not get in contact with the doctor, the ladies in the front don’t answer the phone. I needed a refill on my birth control and i have been calling them for weeks. Can’t leave a voicemail due to the mailbox being full. I left messages with the doctor and no call back. I’m not behind on my prescription. I had to find another way to get what i need. I do not appreciate this

Please don’t go to this doctor!! All she care is about getting paid. 1. She sent my labs to an outpatient lab without telling me and I got stock with 2 different insurance bills. 2. After I called her for a prescription she declines to sent it because she wants me to come in, just so that she could charge me and my insurance😡😡😡 SHAME ON HER!!!

My sister recommend this place and Doctor lauren Harrison . She was helpful with what was my concern about me and she did everything to found out my issue but after when the pandemic started I lost contact to go there I’m looking forward to see her soon.

I love ur office but ur dont take my insurance I have Affinity health plan I use to have mvp I no longer have the insurance Im trying to change my insurance to fidelis so I could still see you go to your office I hope everything will work out thank you Kathy Rodriguez
