My wife and I can not say enough good things about Dr. Spirtos and his staff. We appreciated Dr. Spirtos and his honestly and straightforwardness, I prefer a Dr to be honest rather than beat around the bush. From our very first appointment we felt like family. The staff knew my wife was not great at blood draws, so they took her to a room for her to lay down for every blood draw instead of making her sit in a chair. They reassured her that they just wanted her to be comfortable during the process. They are SOO accommodating to getting you in in a timely manner. There were appointments that my wife cried during and Dr. Spirtos was extremely nice and understanding to her emotions. We loved Sandra, Theresa and Amanda so much! They hugged us during my wife’s miscarriage and celebrated with us during every ultrasound while watching our little baby grow. Such a great group of people. And the office is super homey as well, which is an advantage to making you feel more comfortable.

I cannot tell you how amazing Dr. Spirtos and his staff are. You see the same staff every time you’re in the office, they get to know you and are the most caring individuals. Dr. Spirtos is straightforward which I really appreciated and he also does every ultrasound himself which is almost unheard of. If you want an experienced doctor to tell you the truth with an amazing team supporting him, here is where you should go. Keith the embryologist kept me updated with pictures almost every day after my egg retrieval. He never rushed me off the phone and answered all of my questions. Sandra and Theresa in the office are some of the sweetest healthcare workers I’ve ever come across. Sandra goes out of her way to work with your insurance and get you the best discount possible, she explains the whole process to you from the beginning in great detail. Theresa is amazing with teaching you how to administer your medications, never missed a vein on me during many blood draws and is such a kind soul. Anytime I called in with a question or concern they answered my questions and never made me feel like a burden. I truly believe this is the best fertility clinic in Ohio, which is why I feel compelled to right this review halfway through my treatment. Regardless of my outcome I would chose this clinic and their care time and time again.

My wife and I met with Dr. Spirtos for our first appointment and it did not go well.My wife is still recovering tonight from the pelvic and full body exam he preformed, whilst not wearing gloves, telling her relax we are almost done. At one point she tensed up and needed a break during the exam, Dr. Spirtos said there is no reason to tense up instead of offering reassurance and providing my wife with a minute to gather her composure, he just pried her legs apart and continued the exam.We then get told we need almost $1500 worth of bloodwork. I understand infertility is costly, but neither my wife or I had any idea of these costs at time of scheduling.He said wow for two young people youre not very healthyAny bedside manner / compassion he had mustve ran out in 1980 because he obviously doesnt have any left.0/10 would not recommend.

Today was my first appointment with Dr.Spirtos. Im not going to lie, I made an appointment months ago, but canceled after reading some of the comments. I am SO glad I did not listen. I cant say too much at this time, because Ive only met with him once. I felt obligated to review, right off the bat because I was personally deterred by the comments at one point. I want to share my history, I was a patient through another clinic for almost a year now. In that time, I had NEVER met my doctor in person. She even had another physician do my egg retrieval. Today, I met with Dr.Spirtos from the start. HE did the exam, not a NP. He gave me more information in the course of my appointment than I ever received with the other clinic over the year. Was he direct? Yes, and I loved it. He wasnt mean like a lot of comments say, just blunt. Infertility is SUCH a rough journey. Sometimes you need to hear things straight forward. Even if they suck to hear. In closing, I dont know what my future holds, Ill most likely update this review as time goes by. At the same time, I worry that other people are going to be swayed by the comments. Dont be. Give them a chance. I am SO excited to start my journey with a clinic where I am not just a number. I already feel like Im more on track to having my baby. If youre second guessing it like I was, whats the harm of going in for a consultation? Ive only been under his care a few hours now lol, but this is the most positive Ive felt about my fertility in years.

Absolutely horrible experience from the doctor. forked over almost a thousand dollars for no real answers. just to be seen as a walking paycheck for him.he asked why i wouldn’t get like, 20 labs ordered, when i already explained i had those same labs done last year and there were no problems. he tried to diagnose me with things that the very labs i ALREADY had done, proved me to be fine. when he asked why i wouldn’t, i said i can’t afford it again. he replied, “let me do my job. you need to get over this ‘emotional financial problem’ you have.” ?? sorry i’m trying to be responsible and not go homeless and hungry??then he told me to just “borrow money from friends or family.”during my examination, he was so aggressive, tears were rolling out of my eyes. i couldn’t help it, his pressure was the opposite of gentle. he said “there’s no crying in fertility.” and kept going, i had to ask for a break. i’ve never had to do that before at my other OB. when he left the room, i broke down. i felt so violated and was sore for days.i can’t believe how much money my husband and i spent, with no real answers. he just wants money. don’t go here. receptionists were very kind and helpful, and we wish we felt that way about the doctor too, but we didn’t.

Dr. Spirtos & Staff care about their patients, treat them like a family. I felt a connection since the first appointment. Dr. Spirtos & Keth took their time to explain step by step to my husband & I . We left very happy & positive. Fertility is very complex process is like Dr . Spirtos told me multiple time we did our part , now is between you & God (I love that phrase) . Dr. Spirtos will tell you things the way it’s, there is no waste time or money. They will treat you with kindness, respect. I don’t have a words how to thank them enough. Thank you Dr. Spirtos & staff to help me become a mom the 1st time & 2nd time love you all ❤️

The negative reviews make me so sad! Dr. Spirtos helped me get my miracle baby! I went to other, very popular, clinics and it always ended in heartbreak.A few things I love about the office with Dr. Spirtos:1. Someone ALWAYS answers the phone. This is so huge for me. Whenever I was nervous or anxious or had a question about anything, there was always someone there on the side waiting to help me feel better. Sandra and Theresa are angels! They laughed with me and cried with me. I just dont see that happening anywhere else!2. Dr. Spirtos was available on speed dial for me. If I messed something up, if I had a question, or an emergency...he was there!! I mean, even at 2:00am!!!3. Dr. Spirtos has a very dry sense of humor. He made hard times a little funny for me!4. Dr. Spirtos is VERY blunt, but this is what I was looking for. I got so tired of just being pushed around and not getting straight answers to my questions. I liked that he gave me a direct answer, even if it wasnt something I wanted to hear. I mean...he knows what he is doing and what he is talking about! I finally got my miracle after 6 years!!!5. Keith, the embryologist, IS AMAZING!!! He was so excited for us and was so hopeful during the process and procedures. He called me late one evening because he stayed after to run our tests to see if our IVF procedure was successful. He didnt want us to have to wait. When I say you are truly treated special here, I mean it!!

I don’t understand the negative reviews.. I am sorry for those that had an unpleasant experience. Infertility is difficult and can be a heartbreaking experience. My experience was very pleasant with Dr. Spirtos and all of the ladies at the office. Dr. Spirtos has a nice sense of humor in my opinion. He was very straightforward and did not beat around the bush. He answered my questions appropriately and gave me meaningful resources and responses. Sometimes hard things are difficult to hear but Dr. Spirtos will give it to you straight. The ladies at the office were all very kind and very supportive as well. I’m currently taking a break in my journey to focus on my overall health but I cannot wait to begin again with Dr. Spirtos and his team.

If I could give Dr. Spirtos zero stars I would. I had no idea what to expect, entering scared and heartbroken after a referral by my OBGYN since his testing had revealed nothing. Spiros told me youve only been trying for a little over a year thats not that long I dont know why youre upset. He belittled me for taking Cymbalta, my anxiety medication, because it can cause birth defects, which is something I did not know and had been on it for longer than trying to get pregnant. When doing tests and an exam, I felt violated, uncared for, talked down to, and ridiculed. I started crying and he asked me What are you crying for? Dont cry its ridiculous. No woman should ever go to Dr. Spirtos and be made to feel the way I and clearly many others have been made to feel by him.Edit to add: I recently had to call and ask for medical records to be sent to a new clinic. The person who answered the phone was very apologetic for how I felt, and I assured her that my issues were not with anyone except Dr. Spirtos. I was then told Were sorry you feel that way. Clearly, I am not the only person who feels this way as I have read though every review and seen many that also echo what I feel. Again, the issue with this practice is Dr. Spirtos and his rude demeanor.

My experience with Dr Spirtos and his staff was extremely positive! Even though after working with them for a few years, I did not end up with a child, I still feel that way! After a great deal of research, I am confident that he and his staff did everything in their power to make a family a reality for us. I found Dr Spirtos to be a straight shooter, very thorough, very competent, and that he also provides you with a lot of information. He gave me his honest opinion and evaluation of my situation, and really cared about my overall health as well. I personally valued not being just another number at this facility, and the kindness and competency of his support staff, as well as the ease of accessibility. I can honestly say, that throughout my journey, I felt that I was working with a group that really cares!

I was very impressed with Dr. Spirtos and his staff. Sandra was so kind and I knew I was going to be happy with this office from the minute I spoke to Sandra on the very first phone call. I called on a Friday, gave her my story, and she had my appointment scheduled for Monday because of my cycle she didn’t want to waste any time. I was referred to a bigger practice in town, but was warned not to go there by a friend. My friend said she felt like she was just a number and never felt worse in her entire life. She never treated with Dr. Spirtos, but said he has a very good reputation in the medical field (she is a nurse) and if she could do it all over again, she would choose him. I am so thankful that I did because I have him to thank for my baby girl (due in January). I definitely appreciated his direct communication approach and I was certainly never offended by him. I felt he was professional, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated his sense of humor as well. When treating with a fertility doctor, the appointments can be very disappointing and tough and he definitely had a way of making me feel better on the bad days. After each appointment, he brings you back to his office to discuss the treatment plan, options, and answers every single question. I never felt rushed and I certainly never felt like I was a number. He treated me with dignity and respect. What more could anyone ask for?

Dr. Spirtos and his staff are amazing! They are caring, kind, and compassionate. Dr. Spirtos is present at all of the appointments and he is very thorough. He ensures that all of your questions are answered. The staff always greet you with a smile and they provide support and cheer you on. I highly recommend his practice.

The people here really care. Spirtos will be very straightforward with you, which I find refreshing and helpful in managing my emotions and expectations. Never did I feel like the goal was getting more money from me. Spirtos also cared about my health not just my babys. He diagnosed me with Endo after one visit when I went and entire lifetime with other doctors ignoring my condition(that came with severe pain). Before he did any fertility work, he got me referred to someone to help fix it. And Spirtos is kind of a fertility legend. He truly knows what hes doing. The whole staff was very helpful and invested. Keith went above and beyond when we had trouble getting our sperm sample shipped. We got one kiddo through IVF and Im currently pregnant with number 2. Really happy we went with this office.

I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Spirtos!My journey did not end with a happy ending. As for my experience for being his patient for over 5 years I have never had a problem with his bed side manners. He will not sugar coat anything so if that is what you want in a doctor then you may not like him. As far as him being caring or not caring he showed me his caring side but in his own way. My husband and I spent a lot of money but you will have to pay a lot of money no matter where you go. He has on occasions said things to me that touched a nerve here and there but I knew his heart was in the right place. I also remember after I had a tubal pregnancy he asked me multiple times if I was mad at him. I was never mad at him bc it wasn’t his fault. He tried his hardest to help my husband and I get our baby. The only thing I wish is that I had answers on what is wrong with me and why I can’t get pregnant?😞

Endometriosis was a problem until I met Dr Spirtos and his staff. They helped me get though a lot of trying time throughout my journey to get my endometriosis under control to have children. I have one child, thanks to Dr Spirtos and his staff. Infertility and health problems are not easy and I have been an emotional mess. I see other reviews on Dr Spirtos as being that he is harsh and unprofessional. Doctor Spirtos is a great doctor and he is always available for me. I recommend him. I would not say he is harsh, I would say him is honest and to the point. He does his job and does what needs to be done. I had been to doctor after doctor with no explanation of my pain until I met Dr Spirtos. In the years I have know Dr. Spitos he has always been there for me.

Absolutely horrible. Please do not waste your time or money on this Dr! There are so many better doctors out there than this guy. I left the office in tears & shame. I’ve been going to UPMC & decided to get a second opinion, dr.Spirtos was an absolute nightmare. He was rude & cut me off when speaking, he told me he was not willing to do IVF for me & shut me down completely. He told me I probably had pre cancerous cells & I was probably diabetic & that I’m probably never going to get pregnant. Dr.Spirtos told me he refuses to use my insurance because it was a scam, he told me no no no so many times during this visit. He assumed things without even reading the labs I brought with me from my other clinic. Going to UPMC my dr there is the complete opposite & is super positive & ready to do IVF for me so I’m gonna stick with them.

Completely demoralizing. I left his office in tears, and felt completely invalidated in my concerns. Dr. Spiritos didn’t answer any of my questions with clear cut answers, and talked down to me for our entire appointment. I was already nervous coming into this appointment due to the nature of it, and he talked to me as if I was a child. I would never want someone to feel the way I did coming out of his office.

I LOVE this office. The office staff is amazing and Dr Spirtos is fantastic. He does have a dry sense of humor and is old school, but once you get to know him he is actually very caring. Its also great to be able to call the office and immediately talk to someone, instead of leaving a voicemail in hopes for a return call before the end of the day. And if you cant look past some outdated office decor, then you are there for the wrong reason. Before going to him, I was told I have a 1% chance to get pregnant due to limited ovarian reserve. My first doctor refused to try any other options because she thought it would be a waste of time and money. I went to Dr Spirtos after being referred by a friend and Im so glad I did. He went through all the steps and we gradually tried each way before moving up to the next option. For the first few months we tried insemination without medication. After a few unsuccessful attempts, we moved to the next step... Insemination while I was on a medicine that helped egg production. After 2 tries, I got a call from him that our 3rd attempt was a success!! He was so happy for me and I will be forever grateful. I am due in 2 weeks and still think about that office all the time. I will always refer them and plan on going back when its time for baby #2.

Wont be returning!!!!! I absolutely love the staff. Theresa and Sandra are great. Dr.Spirtos on the other hand is very rude, abrasive and has TERRIBLE bedside manners. His humor is unhumorous and ignorant during very emotional times for women. It comes to a point where you feel like your just a number. When a single visit cost my husband and I $200 at a time, visiting at least 3 to 4 times a month. It makes it for a very unsatisfying experience when you have to deal with a unpleasant professional. I come from a large world of medical physicians and have a good understanding to on genuine hospitality regarding patient and professional. At no point should I be leaving a visit in tears because of the harsh and uncomfortable tone I felt from a professional. Do better.

Thanks to Dr. Spirtos we have a daughter that is now 30 yrs. old. I am shocked at those that have rated him so poorly. He’s always had a very dry sense of humor, but beneath it all it was evident that he always cared about his patients. He used to have a picnic every summer to bring his patients’ families together to celebrate their children. Infertility is highly emotional and to project the anxiety and stress of that situation on the specialist is unfair. I am so very grateful for Dr. Spirtos and always will be!

I am shocked at the 1 star reviews. Infertility is difficult & emotional, but projecting onto these professionals is not the way to go. Every BODY is different & they treat patients as such.Id wasted years & thousands of dollars at another more well-known office with an abundance of people in the waiting room. They used the same protocol for each person regardless of the individuals issue, even skipped testing my husband focusing solely on me even after my testing came back standard baseline. I was put on meds I didnt need, took tests that didnt need drawn & were given little to no information.With Dr. Spirtos & crew, tests were drawn given my medical history & my husbands, with some standard baseline testing as well. We came up with a game plan that was flat out honest. Can Dr. Spirtos be brash- yes. But does that mean he doesnt put thought & care into each of his patients, absolutely not. If he was too rough, I said something. If he was speaking tougher than usual, Id ask for clarification or say something to his nurses & theyd say something to him. I at no point felt like he wasnt doing everything he could to ensure we had the best result possible.And as far as pricing, we were given the info & I asked questions if I didnt understand. Sandra always did everything she could to help me find coupons or samples or discounts everywhere she could because of our insurance coverage. Everyones insurance is different, so be sure you call your insurance rep to get FULL clarification of what is/isnt covered ahead of time.Yes, the decor is not updated. Yes, Dr. Spirtos had told me on multiple occasions to pray as theyd done all the science they could in that cycle. But Id take their decor & faith over a shiny office & conveyer belt-like clinics any day. Hes not out for fame, hes out for results. Their office reports just like any other, if they were as terrible as the negative comments are contesting, they wouldnt be in this area of expertise as long as they have.Folks- its a miracle that ANYONE gets pregnant EVER if you look solely at the science/timing of it. Mix in fertility issues & its even more complicated. Truth is, theres no guarantee. Some other offices offer that, but theyre preying on desperate people & should be ashamed to call themselves doctors.If you cant see that Dr. Spirtos & Co. will shoot you straight, not sugar coat it, & focus truly on the scientific breakdown to get you pregnant- this isnt the office for you. We are blessed to have met these individuals & thankful theyd truly become family. I recommend them to everyone!

Constantly telling me I am fat and how I need to change before anything can happen. Mind you after his initial visit I went to weight loss management and was loosing weight, but that wasnt good enough for him. I have never felt so belittled by a doctor! Go to anyone else. His staff is amazing though.

The staff is the absolute best. They work 7 days a week to help people get their babies. They are so organized and helpful. I loved working with them. I will recommend them to anyone!

Everyone is amazing here!! They are very sincere and caring. Dr. Spirtos will tell you how it is, no sugar coating, but he treats everyone case by case and is very thorough. He doesnt have the best bedside manner and yes his office needs updated, but that doesnt make him a bad doctor. He is a great one. He has one of the highest success rates in Ohio (higher than the other large company right down the street) and is less expensive as well. You will NEVER be treated like a number here. I wish there was more than 5 stars!!!!!

I trust everyone in this office with no doubt. Very kind compassionate staff. Dr. Spirtos really cares about his patients well being and will do anything he can to help them.

Ive only been going to Dr. Spirtos for little over a month. Before the visit I googled him and saw all these negative reviews and was so so nervous to go to my first appointment. I had the mindset that he was going to be rude and mean and just a not nice person.. I was wrong. Yes he says some comments that make you think umm did he just say that? but he really is not as bad as people are making him out to be. Dr. Spirtos just needs a little sass thrown back at him and he will laugh and joke with you. The staff is absolutely the best and so nice! We are still working towards a baby but I have faith that we picked the right place and right Dr to help us! :)

Dr. Spirtos and his staff were wonderful Im so thankful for him. I have a baby girl and plan to see him again next yr.Update Dr.Spirtos has worked is magic again we are 12 weeks pregnant with baby #2. Thanks to him and the wonderful staff, we really appreciate you guys see you in 2022 for our next baby or babies!

At the age of 22 after my first laparoscopy, I was told by a local OBGYN that I would never be able to have children due to extensive endometriosis, but I wasnt going to die. In my heart I knew that dr was wrong and I found Dr. Spirtos. He never sugar coated anything, but he never gave up helping me so I could be a Mom. His sense of humor and kind bedside manor helped get me through the struggles of infertility. I dont like to think what my life wouldve been like if I had listened to the first dr and my path didnt lead me here to Dr. Spirtos. I have two beautiful children thanks to Dr. Spirtos and his staff. I can only pray if my daughter has struggles getting pregnant like I did she has him to help her. ❤

Stay away from this place. My wife visited Dr Spirtos while I was out of town. He completely demoralized her, traumatized her, and she left the office in tears. He was abusive with his manners and words, he humiliated her in front of his staff. I’ve never seen my wife so distraught. Let’s hope him and I never have a chance to meet.

I loved the staff - Sandra, Carla, etc. Dr Spirtos is a different story for me. We were referred by my OBGYN for treatment due to PCOS. I felt very much like a number, and was expected to align to a treatment plan that was set for me without my involvement. All questions were given vague answers (or left for me to look up), I felt talked down to. I was frequently asked to check with my husband, or run a decision past my husband, which is ludicrous. Medications had terrible side effects, my questions felt as if they fell on deaf ears when I asked the Dr. The final straw for me was when I inquired about dietary/lifestyle changes, and told implementing those would not impact my hormone levels positively (which even a cursory google search can disprove).I would suggest you get a second opinion before proceeding here. I am not easily flustered, nor a pushover, and I don’t take many things personally. In reviewing my charts at my new facility, they were truly troubled by some of the steps taken at Dr Spirtos office. I pondered this review for about 1.5 years before posting, so know it came from a reflective place!

I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎊🎉🎈!!!!!!Secondly, I like to say Dr. Spirtos’s is the first only Doctor that kept honest no matter what, which helped me a lot. He was successful in getting me pregnant my first cycle with twins!!! Now he told me the chance of me carrying both babies were low because of genetic/medical reasons and he was correct. Now I’m 28w 3d!!! Also, he had a nice clean and peaceful office and seating area. His staff is A1!!! I wish he could deliver my son. He’s the only doctor I’ve ever trusted. I owe so much to you! I’m so thankful for helping reach my dream. This man made sure he still made sure I was taken care even in such a sad loss of his mother. Five stars isn’t enough!!!

What other people say about Dr. Spirtoss bedside manner is true, it is not the best. However, in NE Ohio, his fertility success rates are the best. Believe it or not hes also cheaper than other local fertility doctors. Fertility is expensive, in general, and anyone who doesnt get a good result is going to write a bad review, naturally. So take those reviews with an extra grain of salt.What I can say is that Dr. Spirtos does care, even if it can be difficult to see that. His staff, however, more than makes up for any lack of warmth he has. Going from his office to other doctors offices is like going from a four star hotel to a cheap motel. You just wont find staff who care about you and your success as much as Dr. Spirtoss staff does. His office is also open seven days a week and they will work to meet your schedule.This is a doctor who has a ton of experience, hes seen just about everything at this point. While other fertility clinics will mention IVF at your second visit, Dr. Spirtos will save it for last, when all other avenues have been explored. If he doesnt think going on medication will help, he wont put you on them. You have to trust his process and his thinking, its why hes been in business for so long and is known as the fertility doctor to see in NE Ohio. So, yeah, if you want a doctor who will sugar coat your news, stay away, but if you want results, if you want to get pregnant, then there is no better place to go than Dr. Spirtos.

Me and my Fiance absolutely LOVE Dr. Spiritos. He has been THE ONLY Dr. to help give me a diagnosis for my infertility issues. He is a wonderful Dr. and I love all of his staff. My sister has gone to him as well and she now has a 17 month old son and another son due in November. I have PCOS and have been going to him Since September of 2018 I am currently doing my second IUI with him and praying my body does what it has too. Highly recommend him. Upfront honest guy and he treats you by case not by number! Update! I am 7weeks pregnant today thank you Dr.Spiritos and staff for everything! Would write a million more reviews if I could

Dr. Spirtos explained more to me in 1 day than my other clinic did in 2 years. Very thorough and took the time out to listen.

I do not recommend this office because of Dr Spirtos. The other staff were very sweet. But the Dr has no bedside manner.During an ultrasound I realized he wasnt wearing gloves, I could feel his hands against my skin and was mortified. But I thought maybe he forgot or maybe he thinks when using the ultrasound wand he didnt need them? So I didnt mention anything.For my following appointment, before our next ultrasound, he was getting ready and I noticed, again, no gloves. So this time I stopped him and asked if he could please put gloves on before the exam. HE ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME and huffed like I was being complicated.Idk the protocol for wearing gloves while holding a wand, but I feel like for sanitary reasons and being so close to somebodys vagina, gloves should be standard. If I can feel your hand brush against my skin, it better have a glove on. I dont know where your hands have been.And again, since idk the protocol, maybe he couldve just put a glove on without making me feel stupid and changing the atmosphere from something special for me to something extremely awkward.During that exam, I was so uncomfortable and felt so vulnerable having somebody annoyed at me, for a simple request, in my body.After the ultrasound, we spoke in his office about the risks of twins. He was not welcoming, he was not pleasant or kind and he spoke as if he were trying to scare me out of having twins. My whole experience was awkward and uncomfortable.He needs to retire and not work anywhere that involves interacting with people.

My wife and I were able able to get pregnant after 4 cycles with the help of Dr. Spirtos! He and his staff are amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone having fertility issues. He is very honest and straight forward and explains everything upfront. His staff is also very knowledgable and available to answer any questions you have.

Wouldn’t recommend.. went there for our first visit today & it was horrible. We are paying out of pocket . I brought results in from only months ago I had done he said they were no good .. then he decided to try to tell me I ovulate normally when I was tested with another doctor and was told I do not from tests but doctor spirtos said this without any tests. Tried to say I need to pay 1000 for blood work , and physical exams when I just had all this done crazy to me. .. and he was rude he told me I’m lucky my sons here & tried telling me my tubes are probably damaged when I had them checked before my son who is only 18 months. Horrible doctor & to say my sons lucky to be here is very unprofessional.. my son is a blessing from God & idc what doc says we are going else where to where we are valued & actually cared for. Also anything I told him he wouldn’t listen changed subject and wouldn’t give me the time of day. Very very rude doctor.Update ; 3 months later & I am 11 weeks pregnant by the Grace of God .. with no specialist , and I only had to take the letozole which helps me ovulate ..doctor tried to act like major things were wrong with me & my husband & wanted large amounts of money ,, well guess what he was wrong I just had to share this because doctors arent whats right we prayed and God gave us our second child ! To doctor - my husband sperm is healthy , my tubes are open & only issue is I dont ovulate normally all which you tried to argue about , not professional wants money !

I love Dr. Spirtos, because of him I have a wonderful 3 year old daughter. I went to him after having fertility treatments at CCF,spending thousands of dollars and being treated as a number. He and his staff were great. He is very straight forward and some dont like that about him, but I appreciated that about him. I wouldnt recommend anyone else but him.

Dr Spirtos is awful and I would not recommend him to anyone that is looking for a kind, compassionate,caring individual, because he is none of these things. He is HARSH, ABRASIVE, and WITHOUT FEELINGS. Not to mention I had to do my own research to figure out my problem and when I presented it to him he was arrogant and aggressive. I NEVER got pregnant from him and when I figured out my own problem, I went to a different Fertility Doc. in Akron and got pregnant the next month. I have 3 beautiful children now with NO help from Dr. Spirtos.

Dr. Spiritos and his staff are wonderful. He is blunt, matter of fact, and above all, passionate about what he does best. My daughter and I are both “Spirtos babies” and I look forward to having our next!

Very rude and unprofessional office. I Have been seeing REs since I was 13, I tried to tell him my history and he completely disregarded me. He was very rough during the exam, literally crying as he jammed the speculum in me over and over again trying to find my cervix - never in my life have had that before. Then forgot to do half my ultrasound, told me to dress and said oh wait need to do you your uterus. They took tons of blood from that turned out to be optional screenings - I already did IVF and have frozen embryos and no need for 1/2 of the testing. He was verbally abusive, and basically used us as a beating ground for his opinions. My husband felt he just wants quick money and not to deal with people with a medical history. His office was a ghost town, I was there for 2 hours and the only patient.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I caution any woman who goes to him seeking any type of compassion or help. This office is completely unprofessional and I have never felt more SCAMMED in my life. I would encourage anyone who is contemplating going here to explore ALL other options. Be prepared for bogus billing statements and ridiculous charges with absolutely no results. Make sure you go to a reputable doctor and BEWARE of Dr. Spirots.

As the Laboratory Manager for Dr Spirtos, I feel obligated to reply to the scam review. Any one that schedules an appointment with any physician is responsible for the cost of a consultation. Most of the time, that entails paying your co-pay for the visit and is subject to your deductible. When a patient has no insurance, the cost is $150 at our office and must be pre-paid as many people skip their appointments if not pre-paid. An initial consultation with Dr Spirtos usually lasts over an hour, gathering history, answering multitudes of questions, discussing options, forming a treatment plan, etc. The cost of testing, whether its ultra sound, blood work, or semen analysis is separate from a consultation. Again, insurance usually covers this. But, if you do not have insurance, you are responsible for payment at the time of service. A semen analysis costs $150. If ANY person desires to have JUST a semen analysis, with NO CONSULTATION, then it is simply the $150 for the test. Always remember, there are two sides to every story. Thank you!

Not a good experience at all. Save yourself before its too late. Many undisclosed pertinent facts and sales pitches that change depending on his mood. Poor bedside manners and much much more costly (time and money) than the procedure itself. We have huge regret and its not our fault (or Gods...) Statistics have proven that these small clinics/labs have much worse success rates. Unfortunately we found out way too late!

Stay away from this monster at all costs. He ridiculed me in front of his staff and is rolling in money which is all he cares about. He thinks hes God. May he rot in hell for his torture and cruelty.

Great team and physician. Brought us our baby boy and most recently our baby girl. I can’t thank them all enough!

I cant understand why some patients gave him less than 5 stars. To me, he was truly a lifesaver.
