Heidi E. Godoy, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Godoy for about 1 year. I changed from another oncologist and the difference is night and day. Dr. Godoy is very knowledgeable and thorough. She is patient with my questions. She allows me to be totally honest about my concerns and takes them seriously. She provides hope. Her staff is equally wonderful. Very friendly. Patient with my questions. Good follow-up. My questions through the portal are answered in a prompt manner. The office is cheerful and bright. My healing journey is moving forward with its ups and downs, but I have a wonderful care team to help me through it.

She diagnosed me with ovarian cancer. Her demeanor was so calming to me. She has been so kind always smiling and never to busy to stop for a few minutes when she sees you. She makes you feel like you are part of her family. Every time I called in with something else wrong the office always called me back within a hour. I have never had a day that I went or come that everyone at NYOH is always smiling and it makes you feel that no matter what you go through they are there to listen. Never to busy! I always tell everyone if they are in need of womans cancer care to go to her. I thank God for her everyday.I cant say enough about her and NYHO.BLESSINGS Cynthia Miller

Dr. Godoy is the best. She is approachable She takes her time. Shes a straight shooter and i appreciate that the most. Answers every question asked. Clear in her explanations. I cannot imagine a better doctor for me

Dr. Godoy is a concerned and kind oncologist with a positive approach in her communications. I am fortunate to have her taking care of me.

Dr. Godoy is not only a top notch doctor but is a truly genuine and caring person. She takes care of her patients not only as her patients, but as the people they are, with all the emotions and concerns that come along with a cancer diagnosis.Any negative reviews that you read, I would highly take with a grain of salt. Dr. Godoy has gone out of her way to care for me. She took time to speak with my family about their concerns and has even been there for me off hours if I had a big concern that I felt couldnt wait.Dr. Godoy worked with me for 5 years in trying to keep my endometrial cancer at bay, in an attempt for me to have a child. Of no fault of her own, it ended up not working out for me and she performed a radical hysterectomy on me in June 2023. I have had extreme anxiety and fear about my diagnosis for years but surprisingly had very little anxiety and fear when it came time for the hysterectomy. The procedure went smoothly and my recovery went very well. Scarring is very minor and the pain after the procedure was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.If you are looking for a great doctor and also someone who will treat you like family, be there for you unconditionally and offering hugs when you need them the most, I would unequivocally recommend Dr. Godoy. I quite literally put my life in her hands and I have zero regrets having chosen her to care for me at the worst time in my life.Much love to you, Dr. Godoy!

Thanks to Dr. Godoy I am currently in remission. She is a wonderful caring individual. I highly recommend her and NYOH.

MRI showed a mass in my Uterus which was protruding into my myometrium. I was devastated and worried. I saw a GYN that caused me tremendous Trauma then to make a long story short I did my research and found Dr. Godoy which was a great relief. Dr. Godoy is not only experienced but knew how to talk to a worried patient and put my mind at ease.She planned my surgery around dropping my daughter off at college so I would have no regrets. My surgery was a success and I went back to work in 3 weeks.Dr. Godoy did a fantastic job and I am so grateful that I decided to go through with her advice.I must point out one of her staff, Michelle, who was very helpful in getting all the paperwork done, pleasantly answering the phone and thoughtfully following up. You can definitely count on her to be friendly and professional.

I love Dr Gody and her whole staff. From the first time I met her I knew I was in good hands. I had endometrial cancer and she did full hysterectomy. It was caught early but she held my hand through all of it. And she always gives me a hug after appointment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else .

-1 stars. Dr Godoy was great in the beginning. However, Dr Godoy neglected care and attention to my mother when she was hospitalized three times. It was always an assistant answering or a “we will get back to you”. My mother could not walk, get out of bed, and was vomiting everyday multiple times a day for a month. On top of dealing with that. It was an absolute chore to get some help from Dr.Godoy. She never contacted my mother when she was in the hospital after having a seizure. Not to mention my mother was given chemotherapy, lost 45 pounds and was given the same amount of chemotherapy without being re-weighed when she had clearly lost weight however she rarely got to see her Dr. My family could never get any straight answers. Do your research, and don’t settle for a doctor who will not attend to your needs. Your life will depend on it just like my late mothers did.

Dr. Godoy, her PA Kristen, Alexa, Michelle, and Meaghan are all wonderful, supportive, and helpful. They were unbelievably accommodating to me and made what was otherwise a long, painful, and difficult process, so much easier than it would’ve been without them.My only complaint is about the nurse that Takes you back to be seen and checks your vitals. Since my first day there, she has been the singular negative part of the whole experience. She is not just unfriendly, she seems to actively go out of her way to make the document portion (work docs, FMLA, etc. ) as difficult as possible. Twice she was personally responsible for delaying the processing of my documents.Aside from her, the entire crew is phenomenal and a pleasure to see. Dr Godoy is a talented and lovely human, Alexa could not be more compassionate or helpful, Kristen makes herself available at every opportunity, and Michelle and Meaghan keep the whole thing running super smoothly. I feel super grateful to have found these guys when I needed surgery. .

Dr Heidi Godoy, in a word, is fabulous. She takes the time to thoroughly explain all the scans and pathology reports as well as what treatment she is recommending. Her wealth of knowledge regarding gynecological cancers is abundantly clear. Every question I had, Dr Godoy had an answer and a reasoning for, even if it wasnt the one I wanted.Being diagnosed with cancer turned me into a high maintenance, hypochondriac and Dr Godoy tolerated all my complaining. Quite frankly I expected her to block my number and refer me out. Instead she responded every time and did all she could to make getting through chemo as tolerable as possible me. I will forever be grateful for the compassionate, high quality care I received from Dr Heidi Godoy.

Dr. Godoy is more than 5 stars. She’s funny and has a great personality on top of being an understanding, talented doctor. I won’t go into detail but I was referred to her by my regular Gyno who also praised her and her wonderful work as an oncologist Gyno. Many many thanks and hats off to all the wonderful doctors who put patients first, Dr. Godoy for sure gets a gold metal in my opinion.

Surgery was as pleasant as surgery can be. Theyve been very attentive and receptive with complications that were not their fault. Worth the 45 minutes travel

Dr. Godoy is a kind, funny badass. in dec 17 we discovered i had a mass on my ovary the size of a basketball. i truly thought it was the end. In two days i was in a full abdominal surgery. Dr Godoy and Lisa were very literally the rock stars of my life. St Peters oncology floor was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and made me feel like a human being, not just another patient. I got lucky and everything ended up benign, but i still feel these ladies saved my life! THE BEST! THank you thank you thank you WCCA and Dr G. I can never thank you enough.

My mother had surgery by a doctor there. He was fine. Her surgery went good. However her first chemo session was 8/01/19. Today is 4 days later my mom had been to the er twice her blood pressure was 200 today. Long story short we just called the offoce and DR. Heidi Godoy was the meanest women i have ever spoke to. She basically shot down every single thing I asked for. My mom had to go the bathroom on a bed pan she could not walk the pain in her legs and feet wad so bad. Pray you never get this dr she had xero bedside manners. I am a firm believer in karma, you dont get a pass just because you went to school and received a degree. I really hope the universe dosent use her poor mom for what she puts out there, but its the law of the universe. She will get hers. She did not help us i watched my mom cry all nite long. While this doctor said go to er. We spent the last two days there including all day today. Why cant i get the doctor to help her who did the surgery. This doctor did not care about anyone on the other end of the phone period. God help anyone who had to see her. Beware.

Long overdue. A year and a half ago I was so scared after finding out I had a large mass on my ovary, all the staff at WCCA were kind and helpful throughout the process . Dr. Godoy made me comfortable, helped me laugh, answered all my questions, and I believe saved my life. I had early stage ovarian cancer and my surgery was very successful. I get nervous before each appointment but know that whatever questions I have or anxiety Im experiencing they will be there to help me through it. Thank you to Dr. Godoy and all the staff at WCCA and St. Peters. Forever grateful :)!

I absolutely love the whole practice they have really truly been good to me over the past 10 months. I keep praying for a positive for a cancer free life.

Dr. Godoy did a total hysterectomy and I was amazed that I had no pain. Wonderful care with minimal side effects.

I can not give enough stars for how wonderful this Doctor is , she is very personable and cares about her patients , And her office staff from just one visit made me feel so comfortable , it’s been 4 days since my surgery and feeling better already ..

Dr. Goody is the best. Takes her time explains everything answers all of your questions . Explains treatments. In general she is for sure the only Dr I need.

DR. Gody is kind, gentle and an excellent doctor. IVE seen her for years now and couldnt be happier with the level of care she provides.

I wish this people could handle all my healthcare needs. More on the ball that any other physicians office. Efficient, kind and diligent. I would give them the whole sky full of stars if I could. 5 is all i can do here.

My live wouldn’t be the same if I have never meet her. Best doctor I have ever had.Thanks for all your advices and recommendations.Eva
