Henry Ramirez, MD

I have been beyond pleased with my experience with Dr. Ramirez and his office. The office staff are always friendly and helpful, nursing staff and everyone is always kind and make you feel at ease. I had been having several female issues(discomfort, cysts, endo pain, etc.) for almost a year and had a terrible experience with a surgery at my previous OB-GYN, my other doctors basically gave up on helping me. Dr. Ramirez listened to all of my concerns and formulated a plan that has actually helped. I was seeing another member of the staff one day and while I was leaving Dr. Ramirez was passing in the hall and stopped just to say hello and ask me about my holiday. I was so impressed by his bedside manner and courtesy. I drive from Durant to Ardmore and it is well worth it. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I’ve had 3 procedures done by Dr. Ramirez, he truly is a healing man. He removed a large 9cm cyst and my ovary in one instance. I’ve had to see him again recently for IUD removal twice. First time no such luck and the 2nd time I had to be put to sleep for removal. He is so nice and just genuine. I always know I can trust him with my health. He does tend to get in and get out, so while my anxiety is high and my head is spinning I tend to forget all the questions I have and before I know it he’s gone but when I do remember he does listen to me and is genuine. As far as procedures go I trust him with my life. His staff is friendly and each surgical team has been amazing. I love the anesthesia doctors! They ease my anxiety before Dr. Ramirez does his thing. Dr. Henry Ramirez made me feel at ease about my recent surgery. He explained in detail the procedure before and talked me through some things even during my surgery. He was so kind and compassionate. He is not only an excellent physician, but has what in my opinion many physicians sometimes lack which is a sincere concern for his patients.

I saw Dr Ramirez for the first time a month ago. He waited only about 5 minutes in the waiting room and when they took me in the room he was in there within seconds. He set my ultrasound up, which they do in office, and I was called within minutes for it...this past Wednesday I had a follow up appointment and he, again, was in he room within minutes of me walking in. The staff is nice and friendly, Dr Ramirez is the best ob/gyn I have been to and I have 42 years old so that is saying something. He is always pleasant, smiling, and has a great attitude.

I am speaking on behalf of my dad, Jerry. I have been going to dr Ramirez for years now for various reasons. I swear if you are having any male or female issues, hormones, thyroid, etc. he is the guy to see. I talked my dad into seeing him to see if he could help him with low T and some other issues. I assured him that he would get him fixed up. He agreed and here we are months down the road and my 75 yr old dad feels so much better. He is going to the gym now!! He also did my partial hysterectomy and I wouldn’t trust anyone as much as I trust him. The staff is always very efficient and friendly and I’m never in the waiting room more than about 10 minutes. He is my dr for life!!

I chose to undergo a bilateral ovarian removal due to recurring cysts and cramping. Dr.Ramirez and his staff were very attentive to my concerns. I suffer from severe acid refulx and asked the anesthesiologist to give me medication to control it . I asked him to carefully monitor me during the surgery because I didnt want to choke on anything that might come up. The medication was given intravenously ( I didnt feel the needle at all). Dr. Ramirez said a prayer with me so that God would guide his hands and so I would have a successful recovery. The facility was very clean, the staff was smiling and alert. I made a complete recovery and thank God there was no cancer and now I am living and active and healthy life.

I never went to Dr. Ramirez before but after reading all the great reviews I knew I would check into seeing him, I was scared about not knowing what my condition was and it turned out I had to have a full Hysterectomy, before my surgery he came into the room and held my hand and prayed with me he asked the lord to touch and guide him and his staff through the surgery, I was so moved by this that I knew that God placed me in great hands, it turn out out that I had Endometrial cancer that he removed and we caught early, I only go for surveillance check ups at the OU Cancer center and I truly believe that things could have been far more worse without him, you are my Angel Dr. Ramirez. Thank you Dearly.

Waited no time to be called back and even less time before being seen by Dr. Ramirez. He had great bedside manner and his staff was friendly and helpful. He addressed every concern I wished to discuss. He was recommended by my mother and he was definitely worth the drive from Norman.

Dr. Ramírez is very personable, he is a very good listener and kind. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Well... I was a regular patient here for years and when I got pregnant, I was told Ramirez wasn’t “taking any OB patients right now”. What kind of BS is that?! So now I have to find a new doctor! Way to go! I’m never going back.

I have gender dysphoria and The Lady at the Front Desk here denied me an appointment, and told me Dr. Henry Ramirez wouldnt treat me for gender dysphoria. 😭🙏😭

Put me on hold for several minutes so I hung up to try to call back, and it says they are closed for lunch..

Wonderful staff and outcomes! Could not be happier!
