I love going to see dr Murthy. I never feel rushed and she listens well. Have gone to her for 5+ yrs for pap and iud. Highly recommend her.

I absolutely LOVED Dr. Murthy!!On my first visit she took the time to listen to all my concerns, and if I left a message unsure about something she called me back personally.My second visit was amazing as well, she took the time to talk with me explained everything and did not rush through the visit, that says a lot!She is very caring and has such an amazing bedside manner and I am so glad that I found her, I recommend her, as I said she is absolutely amazing!

Dr Murthy is amazing! I recommend her every chance I get. I tend to be extremely uncomfortable at obgyn appointments. She is compassionate, competent and has listened to every womens health issue I have ever had questions about. I wouldnt dream of seeing another doctor.

Dr. Murthy did an amazing job during my labor and delivery! Ive have three kids and the delivery when she was my doctor was definitely the best. Shes knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.

After one visit I’m hooked. Dr. Murthy is awesome. She’s so understanding of your needs and she did an excellent job on my surgery. I’m so thankful to have been referred to such a wonderful OBGYN!

If you are at all a survivor of any sort of trauma or assault, then dont waste your time with Dr. Murthy.I hear that Dr. Murthy is great as an OB, but as a GYN I found her rude, condescending, and dismissive of my symptoms. Due to my trauma history, her aggressive bedside manner made me feel anxious and afraid, which made her double down more instead of toning down. I ended up leaving the office in tears and not having received care.If you need a GYN provider and you dont have a trauma history and dont mind being condescended to, having your symptoms dismissed, or being given misleading information about birth control options, then she will do the job.Otherwise, I would suggest looking somewhere else. Ive had amazing experiences with Dr. Cary Perry at Athens Womens Clinic, for example, but I have also heard good things about the practitioners at Womens Healthcare Associates.

My experience with this OBGYN was terrible. I got there on time, filled out my paperwork, it was extremely overcrowded. Several patients that came in after me and filled out their paperwork went back to see the doctor before me. When I did go back, I wasnt listened to. They rushed everything that they did and didnt even attempt to go over my history. I was given a pregnancy test and an ultrasound, and told to come back in a month. During my pelvic exam, the male doctor was very rough and brutal, he could tell I was under discomfort and did not attempt to stop . I felt very violated, and like he didnt care at all. I also asked for iv hydration (i had been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidum at my previous obgyn in California and to ensure my baby was getting enough nutrients and fluids, I had to have therapy twice a week) the doctor denied my request and basically ignored yhe fact that my urine was brown and I couldnt keep any fluids or food down. He told me to wait because I was close to my second trimester and it would go away, but with my condition it doesnt go away until mid pregnancy and I was already informed of that. I would prefer women be taken care of, and this doctor is the worst care I have received since being born. I wish 0 was a rating.

Omg. She is the best. I honestly feel like she’s heaven sent. 14 years later and she is still so down to earth and treats her patients as family. Thank you for your calmness!

Dr. Murthy is wonderful! She has always been so patient and answers all my questions. I would highly recommend her.
