Cobb Womens Health in Austell GA

This review is for Dr Mainthia and staff. I came to the office in great pain after a couple days of increasing pain and distress. This was the only office that could see me within one day, every other OB GYN had at least a week wait if not 3. Dr Mainthia was very kind, reassuring and professional and performed my light surgery with local anesthesia immediately and fixed my nightmare. Her Team was also warm, professional and caring. They were very attentive about modesty (which I truly appreciated) and throughout the appointment I never felt exposed and embarrassed. Just cared for. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking great care!

I always like coming to Doctor Hansalia for my appointments, everybody from the front desk to the student and him were gentle and helpful. I was able to get all my vaccines and everything I needed and all my questions were answered.

I would normally see Dr. Hansalia and would have an okay experience, but today I had the worse experience ever. Dr. Mainthia and the assistant seemed very dismissive with my concerns at one point the Doctor answered one of my questions with “I just told you.” I left feeling unheard, dismissed and as if my voice didn’t matter. I will be finding a new GYN preferably a woman of color. Dr. Mainthia needs to retire her bedside manner is horrible and she should not be working with anyone. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of Dr Hansalia

Honestly, I’m hurt. I think its one of those experiences were as a patient I felt unheard and maybe because I am a black women. I went to mutiple visits to the female doctor there with the same concern. My insurance was going to be up but she said nothing was wrong with me and to basically just call instead of making appointments. Her bedside manner wasn’t the best but I thought maybe I was tripping. So i looked on the brighter side and constantly second guessed my body. After the third visit when she said just call I got a second opinion from an urgent care. It took two second to tell me what she thought i had and it was soo simple because 80% of women get it, with in minutes she had an idea of what i had. Then she ran test and the results came back like two days later and it was indeed what the doctor assumed. I kept telling the doctor at Cobb Health that something was wrong with me but she kept not doing her due diligence. And I an giving the clinic a one star because she has been a doctor for a long time but shes forgetting about patients and she needs to do better. Because its unacceptable tbh. Take a break if you need to and come back so you can be careful with us.

Dr Hansalia is the best! He really listens to your concerns and to top it off he has a great sense of humor. I enjoy going to the Dr! Make your next appointment with him you will not regret it!

Dr.Hansalia has been an amazing physician to for the past 20+ years. The office staff has always been nice.

Ive never heard of a doctor that refuses self pay patients, especially one that advertises self pay option coupons on their website. Just require payment at time of service instead of punishing everyone.

I went there because of the great reviews, but failed to pay attention to the bad ones. I dont know about other doctors but I had a horrible experience with the one I had an appointment with (dr. Nandita Mainthia). She looked annoyed that I was even there, didnt listen to me much, kept interrupting me, and answered my questions condescendingly. She was very aggressive with her examination (so much that it was painful). I left the office feeling inadequate and never want to go back. I am glad this wasnt my first OBGYN visit.

Dr. Hansalia is a wonderful doctor and human being. He is so easy to talk to making you feel comfortable no matter what the subject matter may be. Easy to get appointments and friendly staff. If you are looking for a new doctor give this office a try!

Dr. Hansalia is the utmost professional with a gentle bedside manner. The whole staff contributed to the calm environment of this clinic. The exam room was kept warm (maybe a bit too warm, but I’d rather be too warm than too cold.) and the instruments were kept warm too.

My initial review stated how pleased I was with my visit to the office. While the visit itself was fine, what has taken place after is ridiculous. I was a new patient on June 9th. At that visit I provided my pharmacy information for my prescription to be called in. It is June 17th and after 5 phone calls, my prescription still has not been sent. I work in healthcare so I know things can get hectic, but having a prescription called in in a timely manner should not be this hard. Then to be lied to on multiple calls saying that is was called in to the correct pharmacy is a slap in the face.

I have been coming to Cobb Woman’s Health for about 6 years now and I love it. I love Dr. Hansalia as he is a great and professional Doctor. There is also a medical assistant in there who has been there as well for sometime now and her personality is just wonderful. I’m never nervous and always comfortable. Thanks for everything they do!

Great Doctor... and very knowledgeable! Dr. Hansalia is awesome! Staff is also professional and kind too. Dr. Hansalia did my surgery about a year ago and it went extremely well. I was so scared of having surgery, but he made me feel very comfortable. I still go to him to get my annual checks done. There are so many things that can be confusing about a woman’s body. He is very informative and offers educational tools to help you gain the knowledge and understanding on how to stay healthy. I would recommend him to anyone!

It took me many years to find courage to have an open myomectomy and finding Dr.Hansalia was divine intervention because the moment he greeted me at my consultation his Essence brought me peace, I was given education and attention and I knew that he was the One to perform my surgery. I needed a physician and surgeon with knowledge of uterine fibroids, the experience of treating and surgically removing and above all heart. I admit I was a little afraid at first, the reviews were mixed - but she could see me sooner than any other doctor so I bit the bullet and went. I had my second visit today, what a remarkable Dr and staff. I felt completely at ease at all times, everything was explained completely and I never felt rushed. They made a bad situation bearable.

The staff is very warm and friendly. Dr. Hansalia and Dr. Manthia are very personable and attentive. Dr. Hansalia delivered my last two children and I couldn’t have felt more at ease knowing he would be in the delivery room with me. I have moved twice and now make the 45-minute drive to still receive my care from him!

Worst obgyn I’ve ever been too, worst experience EVER. I went for my first time to get depo and over the weekend I had been to the hospital multiple and found out I had ovarian and follicular cyst dr. Nandita Mainthia Was so aggressive with me and hostile and rude. Even after telling her that I was in pain and my lower abdomen was very sensitive due to the cysts she still carelessly pressed into my abdomen then after I continually told her I didn’t want to continue birth control she kept talking over me and trying to recommend me different birth controls and I’ve told her more than one time o just wanted to be done at the moment and take a break she keeps talking over me telling me that I need to take birth control to keep the pregnancy rates down and so on. Then proceeds to ask me if I have questions and when I ask the questions she talks over me and keeps interrupting me then when she gave me my exam she carelessly and forcefully pushed her fingers into me and then before that carelessly pushed the clamps without warning into me and it’s was visual and clear that she had an attitude. I am 18 years old and will be 19 in 3 months. I am very familiar with pep smears and exams but after she examined me I felt VERY violated VERY I was hurting and very upset. I will 0/10 never recommend anyone and will never be going back.

Without going into too much detail… Very disappointed in the way my concerns were handled, apparently Dr.manthia feels the need to tell a smart woman who not only knows her body but also intelligence that she is too in her head! That’s not only offensive but it’s really not ok! I wonder how she would feel if I told her that was being rude, distracted. The first time she did it I let it go since everyone has “ bad days” then it happened again and I willNot be excusing her behavior perhaps she needs to be on medication. I will never go back and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR.

After making an appointment with another doctor only to be told that they didnt have an appointment for me, I Googled and found this practice. I was able to be seen the same day! The front office was very accommodating and friendly. The doctor made me feel very comfortable and was very easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend this practice.

I love Dr Hansalia, Ill give him 5 stars. But, the billing person Lisa is RUDE, and UNPROFESSIONAL. My insurance alerted me that this office incorrectly code my annual pap/breast exam incorrectly... causing my PCP annual exam claim to be denied. I called the ofc first, and someone there told me thats how they have always done it... that doesnt make it right. I was finally referred to Lisa... their billing person. I left her several msgs... No response. So, today I called her and she answered. She immediately acknowledged that she got my message, at sent the info to someone else. I explained that there are codes just for medicare insured for paps/breast exam... etc. and, she stated she was waiting for clarification. I then asked if i could be kept in the loop about what was going on... because I hadnt got a call back. This lady got so rude, started yellng... I was shocked, and asked her i relax , stop yelling , were two adults... That didnt help... I then told her she was rude and unprofessional. Her response was that her Mom just die, and this and that...(still yelling, still rude) I explained that were all going through some and that didnt justify her behavior. Her response to me was, Since you called me unprofessional im gonna hangup! and she did. What in the did you take your happy pill today is going on here????? Called the physical ofc to complain, was on hold 20 mins to talk to Patty the ofc mgr. I explained to the initial person that answered the phone I had a complaint... Like I said I held on for 20 mins, then the person who answered the initial call returned and said... Patty was still on a call, RIGHT! She stated that THEY felt I should contact Lisa and try to work it out.... REALLY. Thats a BIG NOOOOOO for me. Covid apparently has justified rude , unkind behavior. This ofc who get better service if they just outsource billing... Lisa isnt a knowledgeable biller if she has to ask some one else... whats that persons number???? Patients want all of their providers paid... and we rely on those providers to bill properly, and not cause their patients other providers problems.I sympathize with Lisa... Ive been in her shoes... and my Moms health is poor and may not be here long... Being rude is never the answer, especially when the other person isnt being rude to you. I understand life can be heavy, but we cant bring that to work. I hope that Cobb Womens Health isnt the type of employer that denies their employees time off to deal with lifes heartaches.

Dr. Mainthia was so sweet and empathetic. She answered all of my questions thoroughly. You can tell that she takes her work seriously and she was very professional while still being personable. Im happy that I found Cobb Womens Health and I hope to keep seeing Dr. Mainthia for many years.

Weird as hell. After waiting an hour after my appointment time the Doctor came and was questioning why I wanted my procedure done. I instantly felt uncomfortable and left. Do not recommend to anyone.even though I was only in the room for 5 mins with her, Weirdest doctor’s visit ever.

This office is very personable. They make it easy to get an appointment. I normally get to speak to someone when I call during hours, unlike other doctors who have you leave a message. The doctors give you excellent care and make sure if they have to refer you to another doctor they do followups. I cannot speak highly enough of this office.

The only reason I am leaving 2 stars is because the lady at the front desk and the nurse were really nice. However, I felt like the doctor was rude and disrespectful toward me after I informed her about a decision I made regarding my pregnancy. She made comments like “Why didn’t you use protection?” and “Don’t you know about birth control?” Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I did not appreciated being judged and belittled for making a decision that was best for me. Mentally and emotionally, I am still trying to heal from what I have been through. Dr. Mainthia needs to keep her personal views to herself and not frown up on her patients for their decisions. I will be looking for a different OBGYN.

Dr Mainthia and Dr Hansalia are the best doctors one can ask for.

I absolutely love Dr. Manthia. She is very honest and sincere. She has been my Doctor for many years and I’ve always had a great experience with her.

I have been going to Dr. Maintheia for 24 years and now I also i I I see Dr. Hansalia also.They are terrific ! Dr Maintheia delivered 3 of my children and I will not go to anyone else, I trust their opinions 100%! I now bring my 12 year old daughter here also!!

I have been here twice, and I will never be back. I had an appointment yesterday at 1:10, I didnt get called back until 1:50 (which I had to go interrupt the office ladies in their private conversations about how patients annoy them, to find out if I was ever going to be called back) and didnt see a doctor until after an hour my appointment was scheduled. I just recently took an at home pregnancy test and it was positive, since my husband and I have been trying I was very excited and wanted to find out more about my pregnancy. They were so impersonal with me basically did the tests they needed to do and sent me on my way. No apologies for my long wait, didnt give me any information or advise for my pregnancy. Now Ive been waiting all day for my test results which they said they would call me with but I have a feeling it will be up to me to call them to get my results. I will never be back to this place, I will be looking for a place that cares about me and my pregnancy to deliver my baby.

Dr Hansalia and his team are professional, efficient, and friendly. My visits are always pleasant.

Im a 3rd generation patient. I love that Im known by face & name when I go in & that Im not just a file. They delivered My Uncle, My Brother, My Nephew & all 3 of my children. There were no complications or birth defects! I love that Im never made to feel rushed & that they take time to answer any & all questions. My daughter just became a 4th generation patient and I know that she along with any future grandchildren are in The Best Care & Hands! Thank You!

Easy to get appointments and your wait time is almost none. The staff is friendly and personable. My Dr. She Is very knowledgeable and explains her finding if any to where you understand what you need to do. Answers any and all questions.

I literally just left here almost 20 minutes ago after waiting 50 minutes past my 9:30 appointment time without being seen or given any explanation for the wait. Yea, I was on time. In fact, I was early. I had to leave without being seen because if I stayed any longer it would have been impossible for me to make the appointment I had elsewhere at 10:45.

The first time i called and before i can say anything i was hung up. I thought nothing of it. 2nd time I called, a.lady answered the phone and i tried to schedule as a new patient and she put me on hold and then someone picked up and hung up on me. No one has my information not even my 1st name and I was supposed to be seeing them with a referral i had. I will not pursue this office. If i am already having communication problems before i become an established patient, then i have no desire to go there.

Dr. Manthea was great, as always! Very thorough and always makes sure i understand. 20 + years later, I love Dr Manthea and all my Cobb Womens Health ladies!

*** TERRIBLE PROVIDER***** SO UNCARING its sad people come to Doctors for help and urgent care some of us are in pain and have been in pain prior to seeing a Doctor (my case) I was referred to Dr Mainthia office... She is very short, rude, nasty, and just flat out disrespectful to people who are coming to her trusting her with their life. I have been to MANY HIGH CLASS Doctors and NEVER felt how she makes her patients feel.... I hope she gets her license taken for this type of treatment she doesnt deserve to be ANYONES provider she doesnt listen and get MAD when you question ANYTHING she act as if shes inside your body and generalize all situations..... If you want top service THIS OFFICE/ DOCTOR IS NOT FOR YOU!!! Dont upset yourself by wasting your time, shes not going to get to the bottom of your situation and could care less about your health! GO TO A BETTER PROVIDER THAT CARES ABOUT YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTHCARE!

I have used Dr. Joshi since 1977. He has seen me yearly and also delivered all three of my children. Always showing care and compassion. Very nice staff.

Had my first girl with this group in 2012. They are ways very sweet and patient . Answer all questions. We are TTC and they have been just as helpful and kind this time around .

Unprofessional!! Not the best nurses, young and very unprofessional. The staff has attitudes, on there phones and try to rush to get you in and out. During lab I was poked 4 times and still no blood drawn. Only 1 star because they do service you but I’d never return.
