The office itself is very easy to find and is always very clean. The staff are incredibly sweet, understanding, and reassuring. Ive never felt so comfortable and respected before from reception to doctor. Its a wonderful experience

I made an appointment for my spouse who has a severe anxiety disorder. Made sure to give HQ both their legal name and their preferred name and pronouns. When we got there the forms all had legal name only, and the staff members called my spouse by their dead name in the waiting room. I wasnt allowed to go into the appointment with them even though we explained about their anxiety, and they had a number of questions that they were too anxious to ask.I would expect a clinic with so many prominent trans pride flags that bills itself as LGBTQ+ friendly to be a little more aware of caring for trans patients. What a disappointment.

HealthQ is not a welcoming place for women. I had an 11:30am appointment and arrived 15 minutes early to locate the office, as I was informed that it’s rather difficult to find. The office is located in a large office park and I’m not familiar with Beverly, so when my directions didn’t directly lead me to the office I got lost. I then called HealthQ for directions and they were incredibly vague and the woman on the other end of the phone didn’t work at the Beverly location. I was then given the wrong directions and spent time aimlessly wandering the office park with my partner. I called the main office explaining that I was going to arrive late and was reassured that my appointment would be fine.It took me over 20 minutes to finally reach the office and once I arrived they had me standing outside the door, refusing to let me into the waiting room stating that because I was 15 minutes late they had cancelled my appointment. I then had to talk to a camera for an additional five minutes explaining that my initial appointment was canceled and that this was my second attempt at getting my procedure done.Once I was finally let into the waiting room I was met with blaring Hispanic music and two men next to me waiting for their appointments, of course the men were taken before me (a woman needing a reproductive procedure). I sat there for over an hour watching multiple men come in and out of their doors before I was taken by an assistant who was eating a pretzel and led to my room. The procedure itself was quick and easy, took about 10 minutes and thankfully my doctor was kind and knowledgeable. After the procedure I felt lightheaded and asked the pretzel munching assistant for help on the way out of the room and into the waiting room, she met my request with a laugh and rolled her eyes as I left the office without help. Such an unprofessional experience… Will not be coming back again, clearly they don’t cater to women and have a specific audience they’re trying to reach.

I’m not great at writing reviews, but the women at this facility were absolutely amazing. Not only did the staff make me feel completely safe and loved after only knowing them a few minutes, but the entire experience right down to the first phone call before my appointment, was reassuring. They asked how I felt, and really listened, letting me know my options but also helping me understand what was happening. The women here took all of my nerves and anxiety away and I left feeling relieved and truly happy with my decision. My nurse actually recommended a great donut place near where I live and I went straight there and had a normal and lovely rest of my day.Big XO to the entire health quarters team

I was trying to get a vasectomy with a urologist near me but they pushed back my procedure even after my appointment was set in stone.I had planned to do it over the thanksgiving holiday so I would only need to take a single day off and still have all the time necessary to heal before work the following Monday. Naturally, I had already taken the time off work so I needed this day.I was livid that my plans changed and I didn’t have time to shop around so I asked my wife to try and find some other way and she told me that same day that this location had a time slot available on the day I already planned for.So she set up a telehealth appointment asap and once that was over I was able to snag that time slot and get the procedure done accordingly. The text messaging service is very convenient and user friendly. You always have an easy route to getting any questions answered along with appointment reminders which were very useful.Come the day of my appointment my wife dropped me off and I didn’t have my credit card or license on me but I was able to pay for the procedure with just my copay and identify myself using the picture of my license. The doctors were very professional and good at their jobs. They talked to me during the procedure as a distraction while they injected the area with local anesthetic. The procedure all told took about 30 minutes including set up time and was mostly just uncomfortable with a little pain. After procedure, I was brought to a recovery area where I rested and was fed snack and juice while I was debriefed on follow up procedures and the dos and don’ts to recovery.

I felt beyond cared for here when my IUD failed. I was in a traumatic situation and I truly felt that the staff were concerned not only with my health but also my wellbeing. I was booked to be seen at the Lawrence clinic late in the week, but they called me and offered me an earlier appointment in Beverly due to the potential danger in my situation. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the doctor and nurses, was kind and compassionate. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you all so much for helping me during an incredibly scary time.

My experience was awful. I went in for a surgical abortion and sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hours without anyone coming out to acknowledge the wait or set expectations. I canceled my appointment after waiting that long and went to Planned Parenthood instead, where the experience was 180 degrees, they were amazing. This location I would not recommend to anyone!

Visited here several times in the past if I couldn’t get an appointment with my doctor. My pediatrician finally kicked me out last year after 23 years of being with her. I came here again a couple months ago because I haven’t found a primary care yet. This was the best decision I ever made. The staff starting with the receptionist to the medial assistants, to the NP are outstanding. They make you feel comfortable and taken care of. The NP I saw is unlike any other provider I’ve ever met. I worked in health care for 6 years and have come across many providers, as a provider myself I am blown away by her compassion, patience, knowledge, and empathy. The care is outstanding, if you’re in between doctors or just in a pinch, you will be blessed by stopping in to healthquarters.

The nurses and doctors at HQ Beverly are absolutely amazing. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to answer ALL questions you have about the procedure. After the procedure, a nurse stays with you and talks to you to make sure your feeling ok. They give you a little snack(because you my feel nauseous after the procedure). When I left, I felt really emotional, but a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. I wish there were more places like this facility. Truly amazing staff. Wish I could give you more than 5 stars. Thank you so much ❤️

Much like everyone else, I was terrified scrolling online reading all the reviews for nearby abortion clinics before making my decision to go to women’s health quarters in Beverly. I couldn’t have made a better choice. The staff was so friendly, down the earth, and reassuring. They answered all of my questions and made me feel safe and understood. I went into the appointment feeling sad, alone, and really scared of what the process would entail. When I left a HUGE weight was lifted off my shoulders and I truly felt like I was in control of my body, and had confidence that I would get through this with ample support. I can not thank the staff at women’s health quarters enough.

Everyone here was warm and kind but was still professional enough to make me feel comfortable and not mushy about it... if that makes sense. It was just matter of fact. I had made my decision and it was respected and made to feel very normal (because it is!) I asked not to hear details or dates and everyone respected that immediately. I especially liked the medical assistant who did my vitals and talked me thru everything and was grateful that she stayed. The procedure itself was intense and that gas is no joke. Still it was not unbearable, and everyone was really nice throughout. It was a better option for me then taking pills at home and dragging the process out. I left the office not pregnant and feeling relieved, thankful for having the right to choose this, and just a little bit sad. Thank you Health Quarters for helping me thru this chapter, I would highly recommend them for anyone finding themselves in this position.

I went to this clinic multiple times back in December and cannot say enough good things about the staff. I have never felt more respected, heard, and cared for in a medical setting. The level of communication was above and beyond so that I never felt confused or the medical decisions out of my hands -- my opinion about my body mattered. They patiently listened to all my questions and answered in ways to make sure I actually understood. We connected on a personal level -- rather than the superiority/aloofness some medical professionals have -- which really makes all the difference. Highly recommend. Thank you for all that you do!

I sent in a small review in a more private form but I didnt write how I felt. The location was hard to find, but the interior was lovely. Rather small but very clean. The staff was pleasant, in person and on the phone. I wouldnt say I had a direct problem with a singular person. I have to say my problems revolve around the exscrutiating pain I felt in the exam room. This was my second time around for why I was there, first time i was at this facility.I kept telling myself I should get up and leave. That I should call where I felt the most comfortable and wait til then. But I figured I was there- might as well see how it goes. So far its been one day since my procedure, and im still in pain. Mentally and physically over it all. I like to believe if there was anyone who walked by the exam room, they would think I was being assaulted. Ive never felt guilty for my decisions, and dont get me wrong, it wasnt because of the staff. It was because of the pain.I believe this could be a place I would recommend if they learn different techniques for how they do things, instead of breathing through a tube.

I am still haunted by my experience here in 2018. The waiting room was absurdly crowded. I was in distress and sobbing the entire time and everyone who encountered me during my experience there pretended not to even notice, and carried on a business as usual type vibe. The sonographer was very pregnant, which just felt absurd. The Dr was dressed in Wonder Woman scrubs, which felt inappropriate.I have experienced unmedicated childbirth 3 times and this by far was the most ridiculously painful thing I have ever endured. I was only given advil and felt like I was going to die it was so excruciating.I needed to make the best choice for my family, and I am very pro choice, but I feel like I wasn’t well cared for. I am also not sure it was ethical of the Dr to proceed with a termination when i was in such obvious distress. I almost ended my life later that night. Looking back on this nightmare, I hope things have changed with mental health and pain management for women who need to seek services here.

Front desk clerk was extremely rude during our phone conversation inquiring about an appointment. I had already booked the appointment online and was calling to confirm and receptionist continued to hang up or place me on 10 minute holds. I called three times with no confirmation of my appointment, the fourth phone call, she did not answer. First impression is everything and after that treatment, I do not and would not recommend this facility to anyone. Its obvious that majority of these reviews are from the staff member of the facility and not from patients treated there.

Scheduled an appointment for 6:30 came from Salem and no one was there. No one answered The door or phone the phones. They were completely closed, but the website and door says they are open until 7:30. At least if you had to leave or close early have the decency to call and say something so I could reschedule and not waste my time. Never had a problem until today.

These women are all amazing, I was scared n nervous an they made me feel comfortable an reassured. I cant say thank you enough. Truly angels. I had to hug them all as I was leaving. The procedure was of course painful I mean if youd think for one minute it wouldnt be your kidding yourself,, Ive had 2 children and thats painful but the medicine you get by breathing it in helped so much really puts you in a daze. Thier medical professionals but I feel each one went above an beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The pain was excruciating but only last no more then a min , so I saw it as this one minute or the alternative. Many women have phycological pain after, but as for the physical these women are Amazing Angels. Thank you thankyou all much. I would rate 10 stars if I could oh wait just did. Lol.

My experience here is rather limited; I found out that Harvard Pilgrim doesnt cover any services here whatsoever.. after I got here, AND I had a referral. Waste of 2 hours driving. Not necessarily their fault directly, but they shouldve at least checked with insurance first; HPHC said they cant even find HealthQ in their system at all.

My own personal experience &, opinion is its a waste of time Everytime I had to go there, for hormones or hormone androgen deprivation cases.ALL of them were bias PETTY bigots & referred me out, way out!SO.... if, you have to depend on, hypocrites in Beverly HQuarters youre not, at the right place, for, any healthy prescriptions. Completely Ignore the prescribers, and patrons, Die, & eat scrod! is the attitude, dont let the door hit you on the way out, if, you finally get the hint! .

Their pain management practices are completely inhumane. Theyll tell you something about the minor crampings during the presidure and how a handful of Advil and some laughing gas should do the trick. Dont believe that! Ive given a birth without epidural, I know what 10 out of 10 pain is. It was most definitely 10 out of 10! As I was screaming my lungs out, the doctor was passive-agressively telling me something about collecting my leftover braincells and cooperate with him- move the direction he wanted me to move and not scream as loudly... Well, how about you offer your patients a better care? That would surely be breain cells well spent! On top of that, I called them the next week, when my pain has drastically increased and the fever went up. They also suggested that an Advil should do the trick. Off coarse Advil has done nothing and my husband dragged me to ER .It turned out that they didnt finish the job at the health quaters, which caused major infection and sharp mind-blowing pain. I had to overcome a second sergery to finish the unfinished job of the cocky doctor at the health quaters. Though this time I was truly in good hands- fully out and medicated, and given a proper amount of antibiotics.

I usually don’t take the time to write any reviews about anything , but this time I had to say something. They are amazing!!!!!! I came to the Health Quarters office in panic about what would happened, scared and ashamed.... but this women did the magic!!! They don’t judge ,they stand by you and your decision, they don’t treat your body , they treat your soul, they don’t promise that everything will be ok, they just DO everything to be ok . A special thank you to all the staff ( especially to Josephine who guided me through the whole process)!!!!!
