I want to commend the office for fitting me in without an appointment this week. They were cordial and flexible, and I only had to wait a short time to be slipped into the schedule. Dr. DeJean, as always, was a pleasure to speak to. She listens carefully and always cares for me as a whole person. She inspires confidence and offers reassurance if you may have a concern. She never makes you feel that she is rushed or wants to rush you. Very unusual in todays medical world!

Have been going to see Dr. Dejean for years and she is very gentle and thorough. Always very happy with my check-up. Like her so much that I always refer her to others.

Dr. DeJean is remarkable! She has been my doctor for over 9 years and has the absolute best bedside manner ever! She is patient, answers all my questions, and is thorough with exams. She proactively assessed other risks factors and genuinely cares about her patients. I feel seen when I visit her and don’t feel like just a number. And, you won’t even know she started and ended a Pap smear! Super gentle. I moved out of state 6 years ago and fly back to her annually for my check ups. I wouldn’t let another Dr. touch me because she’s the best!

Go to Dr. Dejean if you want to feel uncomfortable and mislead about the procedure you are subjected to. Plan to wait over an hour before you see the doctor who then treats you like a number.You would think a female doctor would understand that she is seeing you at your most vulnerable and take that into consideration, not Dr. Dejean.The other nurses and staff are amazing!

My recent visit to Dr. Dejeans office could not have been more pleasant. Starting with the very pleasant ladies at the front desk, to Karen her assistant. Dr Dejean is wonderful, patient and calm. She actually listens to you. She answers questions. Shes caring and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her.

Having been a patient for over 5 years, I have found Dr. Dejean to be a kind, knowledgeable and thorough doctor. Despite arriving promptly for my appointment, I experienced delays in the patient area due to conflicting information provided by the staff, which had not been clarified since my appointment scheduling one month prior.It is disheartening to note that the staffs negligence and Dr. Dejeans incorrect information have led to a situation where I am being held responsible for causing delays. Like so many other reviewers said, Dr Dejean is very professional and thorough. She is a no-nonsense doctor but still has a nice bed side manner. It was my first time meeting her and her staff but everyone was respectful and accommodating. Also making an appointment on-line was quick, easy and efficient.

Dr. DeJean is the best she is patient and will answer all your questions no matter how dumb you think they are. She tries her best to make you as comfortable as possible and explains exactly what she is doing as she is doing it. She will also explain what you should feel... for instance she will say ok, Im going to press here and you will feel some pressure. That is comforting to know what to expect. And if your not ready yet just tell her! And when your ready and prepared she will proceed. She is also very personable and genuinely ask about your well being.The office space is always clean and the staff is super nice. I would highly recommend this office. A good GYN is hard to find. Recently had blood work done as a follow up to my last blood work done in July. Thankfully there were a lot of improvements due to the advice and guidance given by Dr. Dejean. She also gave me great dietary advice for other precautions I need to take due to my age and to prevent any other health conditions that may come up being I have genetic history.

Dr. DeJean RUSHED in my exam room, saw me for 4 MINUTES and RUSHED out. I voiced some concerns, and she said I’ll be fine and quickly vanished. I felt so disregarded. My issue is still unresolved. Such a disappointment. Quality over Quantity. 😔

I visited Dr. Dejean when I first found out I was pregnant in 2021. She was no longer practicing OB, but she fit me in immediately to make sure everything was okay. Dr. Dejean is very patient and attentive. She is thorough and answers all questions. A true medical professional with excellent bedside manners. I would refer her to anyone.

When I went to Dr. Dejean my overall experience was below average. The front staff was very nice but as a new patient, the doctor made me feel rushed and not comfortable. I had done research and was looking for an obgyn in the area I could go to that had a great reputation. I was really disappointed with my visit. The doctor questioned my insurance as I was checking out and continued to talk about it with the office staff where I could clearly hear everything that was being said. Not looking to come back as I’ve found a great place to go to now but just wish I had the experience here like these great reviews said.

Dr. Dejean is very friendly, extremely kind and answered a ton of my questions with no frustration or making me feel rushed. I felt so comfortable. Her nurse that does the intake and blood is also just absolutely wonderful. I have been to different gynos and regular doctors over the years and none are like her office. Some drs offices i have been to are just downright terrible. Her nurse really makes you felt cared for and is just so sweet. She is definitely the best nurse i have come across. Even when I felt nervous the first time about my blood work because Ive had bad experiences she went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and happy. I normally only write reviews for restaurants or establishments I visit but this drs office deserved this review. If you are questioning where to been seen I would definitely recommend here. 5 stars plus! Best around !

Dr. Dejean is the utmost professional, she explains the reasons for tests, follow-ups and spends enough time to go over concerns--I have never felt rushed or dismissed. Prior to coming to her, I dreaded these types of visits, but now I know that if I have a problem, Dr. Dejean will give me the time to work through all my questions.

I read the review by Victoria and I have to agree with her. I normally do not write reviews. HOWEVERThis was also my worst experience that I have had with any doctor. I am a Registered Nurse so I deal with many MDs. I went in as a new patient to have a pap smear. Dr. Dejean was so in-personable. I had some complaints and she barley paid any attention to what I said, I had Questions and she kinda brushed me off. I had some abdominal pain and told her about these nodules that I felt in my abdomen and she didnt even palpate them. I also needed an ultra sound and she left the room stating that they needed to make sure that insurance would cover the ultra sound 1st. When she came back she was in such a rush and so preoccupied. It was that fastest exam that I have ever had in my life. She never smiles didnt explain anything, she was mostly preoccupied with her documentation in a laptop she had with her, just typing away. I prefer a doctor who comes in and listens and pays attention to what the patient says. I will not be back to see her again and.

Very pleased from the moment I entered the office I was checked in right away and in the patient room within 5 mins. All the employees were very nice and helpful. Cant remember the last time I was in and out of a Drs office so quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Dejean.

Greeted immediately, papers to fill out were promptly given and Nurse Prudence was entertaining and thorough.Dr. visit was also thorough and everything was explained clearly. I’ve been going here for YEARS and there wasn’t an issue until my last visit. Dr. said I have high blood pressure so I can’t get on the BC I want. Lol that’s something she should’ve mentioned to me before but that’s what is funny my primary says I have perfect blood pressure. To be noted they used the wrist one... After 2 weeks after my pap smear I didn’t hear back with my results- I had to call them. Interesting, because I know it takes a few days and they should follow up in the portal and/or call with my results. NOPE. I had to call them and even when I called the doctor didn’t even go over the results with me the resceptionist said to make another appointment. I only got to see the results once they were faxed to another OBGYN office. Very very unprofessional and felt dismissed. I will never step foot back into this office. I’m glad there are all positive reviews, but i think my experience should be shared as well. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I have not ever in my ENTIRE life had a worse experience at any doctor visit. First of all I was a new patient going in to get my IUD changed out, so I was already extremely nervous to go to a new doctor for this. I informed Dr. Dejean of my severe social anxiety, and of my fear of this procedure in general. Afterwords she left the room to ensure my insurance was going to cover the mini operation. Moments later I was confronted with the front desk woman who tried to tell me my insurance wasnt going to cover the operation, and it was going to cost me $1,200. I was shocked and confused because under the health care reform act I knew no matter what the IUD replacement and insertion would be covered. Immediately I asked if I could just be put on a payment plan until the insurance was sorted out because something was not right. I was told that wouldnt be possible. After paying half the amount upfront the doctor came back in and had the nerve to say well since that took so long Ill have to rush through the procedure because I am now late for my own appointment. She then proceeded to open the room door to grab a piece of equipment she forgot wearing the same gloves she used during the procedure. At this point during the visit I was crying and cried through the entire procedure. Fast forward three weeks my insurance covered and paid the ENTIRE bill and the office still has yet to reimburse me. I would not ever recommend this doctor her lack of professionalism and disregard for cleanliness in her office absolutely astounded me. Patients beware, Dr. Dejean is the worst doctor I have ever been to and I would not recommend her to anyone.

I had to wait in the waiting room for at least 15 minutes then I went in a room with the medical assistant (Prudence) to answer questions. She was very friendly. I went back in the waiting room for at least 10 minutes for a room to open up. Once in the room I undressed and waited again on the table for the doctor for at least 15 minutes.I did alot of waiting BUT the staff and doctor are very nice!

Have been a patient for a few years. I just called to make an appt. Dr, Dejean is out of town for 2 weeks. Thats great everyone should get a vacation! I asked if there was anyone covering while she was gone. The rude office assistant had the nerve to tell me no there wasnt and that I was more than welcome to call around for another doctor! Why yes I will...Very sad that the office staff can ruin a doctors client base.

The clinic and staff are very nice, my issue was the actual visit. Not only did Dr Dejean not even touch me she barely gave me 10min of her time. At the end she told me she was the wrong person i needed and therefore there was nothing she could do for me. Which is ok, i understand, but dont tell me all that and then charge me $200!! For 10 min of your time?! Even the secretary was uncomfortable, she told me “let me call her because i dont want to over charge you”, she called and Dr Dejean said to her “ no thats correct, $200 for doctors visit”. NEVER AGAIN! She left a bitter sour taste in my mouth.

Dr. Dejean was recommended to me by by C. Robert Johnsons office when I was new in town and looking for an OBGYN; She has been my doctor for years now. She has my highest confidence.

This Doctor was not friendly or gentle at all. Very monotone straight face. She didn’t even care to resolve my issue. I work for a doctors office and we have to almost be like the ritz Carlton. I understand not everyone of going to be like that she didn’t even try. I had to go to another obgyn to resolve my issue and I was so relieved I found someone better. If I could give her a 0 I would.
