Wow! What a pleasant experience on a Friday evening. I am traveling and visiting family. Needed to go to the doctor and was so please with the experience I can not express enough. From checking, to walking out, I was well cared for. On check in, my well being was priority one. If you are looking for a convenient, clean, and courteous health care option, stop at PhysicianOne Urgent Care Brookfield. Not only will it be all those thing, the staff is very competent and careful. They really know how to care for people. They very much took care of me.

Dr was wonderful once I saw her! Online appointment and filled out all the forms. Was told to be there at 10:20 for 10:27 appointment. I was finally taken into a room at 11:10 ish. Long wait time but am thankful they were able to deal with my medical problem. Again, Dr was wonderful!

Urgent Care in Brookfield has one of the most empathetic and patient staff at this location. The gentleman at the front desk taking patient insurance is HPPA compliant. Everyone has a happy demeanor with concern for the patient. All those who treat the patient have always listened to the patient symptoms. They often have followup questions. This facility has a staff of medical personnel that show respect and kindness. I would. without a doubt highly recommend Urgent Care in Brookfield, CT.

Very good experience. The nurse practitioner and her assistant who saw me were very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable & addressed my visit with care & understanding. I would definitely go back here again.

All the staff were wonderful! Very attentive, warm, and explained everything. The place was also immaculately clean. It was not overcrowded and the wait was not long. Love, the fact that you could actually book an appointment online if it’s not an emergency. Everybody did a great job communicating everything I needed to know and I would not hesitate to go back there again.

I was able to book an appt online and be seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The receptionist was professional and personable. The MA was compassionate and efficient. The PA Pam was fantastic! Very innovative and determined to attend to a complex thumb wound! While I was surprised to have to wait for a radiology tech to come from another facility, she was also very kind and arrived within the time frame I was given. My thumb feels 100% better from yesterday! Thank you team!!

Amazing staff-helpful throughout the entire process-from the front desk, to the medical technician, to the physician to discharge. We were in and out in a little over an hour-called ahead because my three year old was bitten by a rabbit on a farm, and the entire staff was so nice-helped me schedule an appointment, and everyone was so kind to my daughter, and they explained everything to me thoroughly. There was no sense of a rush or urgency-I felt actual caring from everyone-first time I have ever at an urgent care. If we ever need to be seen at an urgent care again, we will definitely be going there, even though there are closer urgent cares. Thank you Viola and Dr. David for your kindness, compassion and care towards my daughter and myself.

Dr. Roberts really listened to me and took time to figure out what was likely causing my symptoms. She was personable and caring. She also printed a summary of my visit along with her recommendations for treatment which was very helpful. Booking an appointment on-line was easy and the wait time in the office was reasonable. The office was clean and pleasant. I will definitely return to this practice for my urgent care needs in the future.

10/10. I booked a last minute appointment through their website and went. As soon as I got there, checked in and writhing 2 minutes I was inside of the room with the medical assistant. I left the building in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was really receptive and quick, thank you for the amazing staff!

APRN Jodi and her Medical Assistant bent over backwards to get me back to health, after I came into their office with a severe case of pharyngitis and tonsillitis. I could barely speak and they knew exactly want to do. 1 hour later I was feeling better, 8 hours later I am 100% back to normal. She even called me the next morning to check on me. Amazing providers, thank you so much

Very professional and kind staff. Empathy for every reason for being there. Longer wait than anticipated with a scheduled appointment, but I’d still go again.

On 6/16/2024, at approximately 8:15 a.m., I tripped and fell on some uneven gravel at a nearby boat marina and sustained a cut on the bridge of my nose. Blood poured out of the wound and covered my face. My daughter drove me to PHYSICIAN ONE in Brookfield. Here is my evaluation:First of all, the entrance room was very inviting, large, airy, with lots of comfortable seating. The receptionist who took my information was friendly and efficient. Since the location had just opened that morning, I was only the second patient in line so I didn’t have to wait too long. My face was red with blood from the wound, but I knew that I had not broken any bones.The doctor’s assistant who saw me first and took my vitals, etc., was efficient and thorough. I was lucky to be seen by Dr. Christie Roberts who was terrific! She was personable, reassuring, super skillful and efficient, and had a buoyant personality and an excellent sense of humor. I didn’t feel that I was seriously injured by the fall, but my daughter and my wife were concerned because of all the blood that had flowed from the wound. Dr. Roberts cleaned me up and patched me up beautifully (5 stitches), gave me all the instructions I needed, sent me to the local Rite Aid to get the antibiotics she had prescribed, and wished me well. Her superb professionalism and sparkling personality reassured my daughter and wife that I was going to be all right.It’s a lousy thing to fall on Father’s Day and have a face full of blood pouring out of a wound, but I consider myself lucky that I was so close to your facility and that Dr. Roberts was on duty that day.Best wishes,Marvin Terban

Loved the digital sign in and the ability to register via my phone. Loved being able to see where I was on the waitlist. The receptionist was polite but useless. She did not listen to questions and provided “canned” answers which were not helpful. The PA was apologetic for the wait (about 90 minutes), listened to my questions, and gave me various options for treatment. He was great! Thank you for being open on the weekend!

Very quiet when I went in, only 1 person ahead of me. Check in was easy and Receptionist was very pleasant. I liked the Aprn, she was very nice and listened to me. A good experience. Kate Z

Staff was nice. Light in room was in need of a change as it was constantly flickering. Only complaint was we had to wait for the X-ray. Tech apparently each facility doesnt have one in and out after 2 and 1/2 hours shouldnt take that long

The staff is very friendly and personable but the wait time is extreme. I’m not sure if they are short staffed or they overbook and also allow too many walk-ins. I had an appointment and it still took about 1.5 hours for an interaction that took about 5 minutes.

I have been a nurse for 21 years and I am very happy with the care that I received from Pam and Patrick. Both were very thorough and both had bedside manners that were top notch. Thank you for the great treatment. I will definitely visit again when needed.

Once again urgent care was wonderful! Never fails my kids get sick on Saturdays when our primary care is closed. Dr. Robert’s was very caring and prompt to take care of us. Thankful urgent care is there when we need them!

VERY caring and pleasant experience. From the sign up, to the admission, and the doctor-very easy, efficient and thorough. The doctor was awesome…I wish all docs had her bedside manner! This is my urgent care of choice.

I made an appt online. We arrived and checked in (and greeted by a friendly receptionist) Within a few minutes of our scheduled time we were brought into the exam room. After the appt we left, and headed home. Within minutes of leaving the facility I received confirmation that our script was received by the pharmacy. We were able to pick it up before going home. It was a great experience overall.

I recently walked in to the office with an animal bite. I was assigned a P.A. named David. David is simply one of the best medical professionals I’ve ever dealt with. His manner was assured and calming, and he clearly knew what he was doing, having spent a number of years in emergency medicine. I asked for him specifically when I went back a few days later for an injection, and they assigned him to me. It was a great experience at a difficult moment, and I strongly recommend them.

I was the 2 patient on the morning list and I waited in the lobby for over and hour. I was supposed to get a x -ray done and they said sorry she was pulled but the doctor will see you. She told me to take an anti immflamatory. Obviously!Cant wait to see the bill. What a racket.

I had cut my hand at work and went down to urgent care to get it stitched up. They got me in right away because of the injury. Everyone is here was very pleasant and awesome to deal with! From the gentleman at front desk that checked me in, the lady that brought me back to exam room, to Dr. Barrett and Patrick the medical student ( I believe that’s what he said). Excellent and professional care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care to anyone in need!

I am so impressed and grateful with the care received this evening. I called 45 minutes before closing with a three year old with a nasty gash on her finger. The reception was welcoming, and they already had a room set up for treatment based on my call. I had my other two little ones with me, who were given snacks and treats - while my daughter was very gently treated throughout her anxiety and fear. One of the nurses used her phone to show her videos to distract her and helped her eat treats, while the other stroked her arm to relax her. The attending physician was also very reassuring, descriptive, and kind. This stressed mom noticed all the extra layers of care and bedside manner displayed, and I can’t thank them all enough.

I was very impressed with everyone that I encountered from the people at the desk to the nurse, PA student and PA Dave. I had to wait because I had to do paperwork and I didn’t have an appointment. Everyone was caring and professional…I would definitely come to this Urgent Care in the future. Thanks!

After a half hour wait I was told there was no X-ray tech on duty and sent to another office. I asked if she would be seen since it was 3:30 on a Sunday and they close at 5. I was reassured that company policy is that minors are not turned away and that my daughter’s info would be called to the other office so they would be expecting her. We make the drive and are they have no clue who we are (no call was made) and are told they will not see her. There was another child in the waiting room with the same issue sent from the same location. Ask to speak to the provider who was extremely rude and unkind. Keep in mind I have a 9 year old upset and in pain being dragged through all of this. I would have understood if we were turned away from the first office and gone to the ER. The lovely X-ray tech heard the discussion and offered to stay and do the X-ray. She and the MA were wonderful.

The PA we saw was incredible and the whole staff. We saw Justin Garrison in the Brookfield office and he was so kind and took the extra time to remove a fishing hook out of my son’s finger . Great experience and great office and staff

After waiting hours at other urgent cares, I switched to Brookfield, CT. I don’t even mind the 30 minute drive because when I get there, I’m always greeted with a smile and an apology if the doctor is running late. I would highly recommend if you need quick, professional, and kind medical care. Even if you have to wait, you are informed and cared about with an apology and quality medical attention.

Horrible I had to wait for over an hour and I was the only one in waiting room. One person had an appointment ahead of me and I thought something happened with her because she never came out I didn’t know there was a side door . They brought me back and I sat again. Another 15 minutes. Then the pa & trainee came in for not even a minute. Of course apologized. No one had the common courtesy to tell me no one would be able for an hour so I could leave & go somewhere else. If the PA was stuck on the phone as he said he could have emailed the front desk or slipped a note there were about 4 women steps away from him. Just Rude

I had been to this urgent care a few months ago for a tick bite and today my husband was having trouble hearing so we went here since I knew it was a good facility. Everyone there is so nice! Extra thanks to Viola the Medical Assistant and David the PA who both took very good care of him!

Every single person I spoke to was incredibly nice and understanding. I am from out of state and they worked with me on making sure things were doable. Wonderful clinic and staff!

Ear ache revived treatment put on anti biotics told to administer wax solvent return in 3 days. Also told to see a ent for further diagnoses of pain emanating into jaw!

Everyone there is really nice. I ended up getting MORE sick because their air conditioner is set to 30 degrees like a walk in fridge. I mentioned how I felt like I had allergies and they just told me to take allergy medicine. I didn’t have the chills until I walked in- now I’m a lot worse. Either way, doctors will tell you the same thing- if it’s viral, they can’t give you anything.

I left my vacation early to head home so I could go to the Urgent Care after a second day of 102-103 fever and severe sore throat. Getting an appt was easy. Got there 15 mins early per their instruction. Waited about 30 mins in the waiting room. I was brought in and the nurse immediately did strep, flu/COVID. I waited another 25 mins in the room. The PA walks in and is immediately asking how my cough is doing. I told him I have no cough or runny nose. It is my throat with fever and chills. He said my strep was negative, so I must have a virus. I dont usually spike such a high fever. He suggested I get Delysm. I questioned this since, again, I did not have a cough. He just seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about. What a difference from the amazing female PA I saw the last time I was there. I dont think my family will be returning to this location.

I’m not sure if she was the nurse or the medical assistant, but Aliana (I’m definitely spelling her name wrong) but she was ABSOLUTELY amazing. My husband and I had come in, we’ve had horrible experiences at AFC Urgent Cares so we don’t like going to urgent care, but PhysicianOne Urgent Care completely changed that for us. Everyone was very nice, attentive and helpful! Especially Ayliana(I’m so sorry for butchering your name). Thank you again!! We just left, it’s 8pm on 6/25/2024!

Everyone was just a delight. Thry took me in on time, and immediately assessed my situation. With kindness and patience, they took care of me. Iwas seen by David P.A., who although was stessed due to an emergency, still was extremely patient and kind. I would recommend this place to everyone..

Fast, friendly check-in as a walk-in and seen quickly even though scheduled appointments ahead of me. PA totally helpful in explaining the situation and options. Location is very convenient to my work and my pharmacy.

I have had to visit this facility on several occasions for everything from sutures to illnesses. I have NEVER had a bad experience. All of the staff from the receptionists, the nurses, medical assistants, PAs to the MDs have been awesome. They have gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion! I would highly recommend!!

Equipment malfunctioning. My son was in to get checked out due to shallowing breathing. They made this so urgent and tried convincing us we had to put him on an ambulance and send him to er. We refused that and took my son to er ourselves. Once we are in er his oxygen levels were great and had no issues. This simple mistake could have been avoided. Their oximeter red my son’s oxygen at 70 or something. 15 min later at the er his oxygen never dipped down below 92. Also from what I understand they are supposed to have an X-ray machine, which that day they didn’t. ER took my son’s X-ray and found he had pneumonia. This visit was a huge fail at this clinic.

I was able to be seen within 15-20 mons of arriving. The attending physician was very thoughtful and took the time to explain things to me. I am disappointed that I couldnt leave with an answer. I even called back later and spoke to then physician who yet again took his time explaining things to me. I still dont have an answer but Im in one of those rock and a hard place situations. I would visit again.

Jodi was amazing. I went in for a migraine and she was able to treat me and avoid a visit to the ER. Now that they are Yale new haven health, the process became much easier

Due to breathing problems, my wife insisted that we go to Urgent Care. I was admitted after just a few minutes, and the PA, David, immediately prescribed an inhalation treatment. I felt that I was in good hands. A second treatment followed, and the PA requested a chest x ray. I have Asthma so I know that everything they did was in my best interest. David made sure several times that I was ok to leave. All the staff were terrific.

There are no doctors at this facility, only PAs. Fine for forms and testing for viruses but not preliminary diagnostics for health issues.

Great Urgent care! Signing in online is efficient and time saving. Professional quick care given. I highly recommend this Brookfield Urgent care facility for issues that must be addressed quickly.

I really liked this place. It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I wasn’t feeling the greatest and I had just went to another urgent care maybe 5 days before and it was completely night and day. I would recommend this place to anyone but at the same time want to keep it to myself, if you know what I mean. I hope everyone gets to have the experience that I had though. I’m not sick often usually 1 time a year; so if it was to ever happen again this will be the place I got to.

Appointment/Check-in online was seamless and easy.Attending staff courteous and helpful.Dr Roberts expertise very evident and complete. Very impressed by her.

It’s convenient but the staff seemed to rush my diagnosis and didn’t provide any relief or checkup follow up to see if I was okay. I went back twice and they said their capabilities are limited here. They have a X-ray/MRI on site and could have looked further to help prescribe a relief to my condition, instead I had to suffer in pain and sleep on the floor in agony until I could see a referred orthopedic doctor.

I recently had a Sunday morning appointment at the Physician One clinic in Brookfield, CT. I was greeted by Zach, one of the medical assistants, upon my arrival. Zach is a wonderful young man, with a fantastic personality. He is a true light in this oftentimes dark world.Viola is also a wonderful asset to Physician One. I saw her prior to my appointment with PA Dave. My visit with PA Dave was excellent; he answered all my questions in a manner that was easily understood, & the care with which he treated and diagnosed my condition was thorough. In addition, PA Dave has a great personality and wonderful sense of humor, traits I always enjoy!I highly recommend Physician One Urgent Care to anyone needing their services. A+++++ in every way!

Made an app over the phone and arrived 20 min early, no other patients in sight, they take me an hour later, felt disregarded with a 5 min consultation, sending me to a referral specialist that its not taking new patients. What a waste of my time, when I was looking for a prescribed medication for tinnitus, as they described: an uncomplicated matter.

As uncomfortable as I was, the care at this Urgent Care was fantastic. From check in to the medical assistant to Jodi, the APRN who evaluated me, everyone was very kind, professional and on top of things.

I showed up at the center in pain. They got me in rather quickly considering there were people in front of me. Everyone was kind, compassionate, considerate and helpful. Even though I was feeling poorly, I had a very positive experience with them!

Wait time was somewhat too long but I was a walk-in. Doctor was very nice and we talked about my issues and she immediately sent drug requests to my drugstore. If the wait wasn’t so long you would have gotten 5 stars.

Several weeks ago my son needed to be seen at Urgent Care. We booked the appointment the night before, filled out all paperwork, confirmed insurance and checked in before we got there.We got there on time but waited for over 45 minutes before he was called in. Not only that, 2 women came in after him but were taken before him…not sure why since he was there right on time.It also took quite a long time for him to be seen once he was in the exam room. All in all, the whole visit took about 90 minutes which is quite interesting considering making an appointment ahead of time was supposed to cut down the time.I don’t understand why these visits have to stretch so long. It feels like you go there just to sit. And sit some more.

If I could rate this facility 0 stars I would.This review is regarding my visit on 04/08/2024 at 8:30am.I have already called the facility and emailed customer service to file a formal complaint.During my visit I notified the doctor of my symptoms being ear and throat pain, congestion and a slight cough. During the examination, the doctor noted that my ears were red and swollen. I had explained to the doctor my health history and the doctor disregarded it in its entirity. They stated I just had a virus and they would not give me antibiotics. The overall quality of the visit was poor as I waited over 30min for my appointment and once the doctor arrived, they were very rushed to get out the door.Since my visit I have seen my PCP and two ENT specialits who perscribed me four different medications, including a high dose of antibiotic, to combat a severe middle ear infection and a resulting right ear rupture.I requested a refund for my visit on 04/16/24 and as of today 04/30/24, the facility billed my credit card a second time for a total nearing $200.I am extremely disappointed with the quality of care at this facility and moving forward I will be bringing my business elsewhere and so should you.EDIT: I spoke with the billing department who stated that If I had caught the additional charge yesterday when it was issued, they would be able to void it.. There is no confusion about the card on file policy rather than an error on the facilities part. The billing department was able to explain that once my first charge was refunded, my account showed a balance which the system charged again. They will now issue and additional refund for the second charge and removed my card from their file. I am glad I caught this because there seems to be little accountability with their procedures.EDIT #2: Unfortunetly I had to dispute the addition charge with my credit card company as PhysicansOne failed to refund the additional amount charged after two weeks.

Both boys sick for almost a week with fever, chills and cough. Missed school for 3 days. Ears were red but not given any antibiotics! Don’t bother coming here because you’ll end up having to go somewhere else.

Kelly did a fine job of removing the wax from my left ear. She was courteous and respectful and may I add patient. She knew when to ask for help which shows signs of making me ,the patient a priority.

My appointment was at 1:15 and was not seen until 230 . It was tough because I had a toddler with me. However, the care was amazing. They were very nice. Other than the wait I thought it was a great place. Just need to do better with the timing.

The PA who saw me was Jamie. She was awesome, she was very genuine , caring, knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly.

My name is Courtney Weiss and I cannot say enough good things about “Dr. Dave.” I have extreme anxiety about doctors and medical offices in general, and Dr. Dave is the kindest and most understanding doctor I have dealt with in years. He’s helped me with several things over the past year, but last night he was particularly excellent. I went in for a Covid test, and it ended up being positive. Before prescribing Paxlovid, Dr. Dave checked if there was an interaction with the one prescription medicine I take. It turns out Paxlovid interacts in a way with that medicine that could have put me into a coma, had I taken it. Not all doctors would have checked that, and that combined with his understanding of my anxiety made my visit last night one where I felt very heard and very well cared for. Thank you Dr. Dave!

Made an appointment online and was seen quickly. Received friendly and caring attention by all employees. Will definitely use this location again!

The PA was extremely knowledgeable. We appreciate his apology for our long wait. His treatment was very professional. I would return again.

The PA at the Brookfield office was absolutely incredible. Dave. He was actually physically kinder examining my 12yo daughter’s injured wrist & asked better questions than her regular doctor had a week prior. Definitely would make a great pediatrician. He even called the next day & got our X-ray results after I told him where we went. That has never happened before at an urgent care. 10stars if I could. The staff was also fantastic.

Fairly quick access. Tests taken. Dr. Roberts called to review the results and discuss the reason some results were still pending. Offered suggestions to help with my symptoms while waiting for test results.

Went in to check my ears as I do every couple of years when I can’t hear. They examined my ears and said “yes- they need to be cleaned out. Always so fast, efficient and kind

There was no MD in the office, and the PA was apparently incapable of diagnosing a virus. He was unable to order stat blood work, a CT scan, or anything else. Instead he filled my head with a variety of life-threatening issues that he feared I could have. I will never go back.

I had a very positive visit. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I was a walk-in and did not have to wait very long. The MD was very knowledgeable. She listened and didn’t try to rush through the visit. All in all I had a great visit and would definitely recommend it.

I do not go to Urgent Care ever, I have had a few bad experiences so I avoid them. This time I couldn’t and someone recommended this location because of their experiences and what a world of difference. I sat and watched how Zach handled the walk-ins versus scheduled times and explained the processes and was so clear and concise that there was no way people could get angry or escalate because we all knew what was going on. The place was clean and all the staff I encountered were amazing, Nurse and Doctor included. What a well run facility!!! Highly recommend and if needed I would return. Runs better then my doctors offices.

It was Christmas day and my daughter was very sick. I went online to see if any urgent cares were open. One that was close to me was listed as open so I scheduled an appointment. Unfortunately, when I got there, they were locked up and closed for the holiday! I was very unhappy! I continued on my search from their parking lot and found. Physician One urgent care in Brookfield. I called and spoke to Zack. He was lovely and encouraging, while being honest that they were super busy. When I got there, I checked in immediately with Zack, and he gave me all my options. I was immediately calm because I knew that they would take care of my daughter. They were extremely professional and calming. I will never go anywhere else. Thankful to them for working the holiday and being very welcoming. But especially for taking excellent care of my daughter!

Have been going here since it opened years ago. I have always received great care. Wait times are usually reasonable , especially as compared to other places I have tried. They never cause issues with my insurance payments. Another that I tried wasn’t billing correctly and it took 4 months to get it straight. Staff has always been friendly, caring and professional.

Friendly staff, very professional. I also got to see the staff handle an emergency in the waiting room, and I must say everyone involved showed what true professionals you have at your office. Very reassuring to know , that I now know I will receive professional care when using your services.

We move around here to be not accepted because I lost my daughter insurance information she was sick and second time came back with wrong info. An inocent Minor was rejected weak and confused what going on here Beware.

I had a really positive experience from the moment I went in and was seen at the front desk. The administrative assistant was very pleasant and helpful with getting me registered. Following that I was brought in and seen by a very kind medical assistant/nurse. She was personable and made me feel at ease being there. Then I saw the PA who was very nice and thorough. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and got me the medication I needed to help me feel better. I know urgent care can be a hit or miss but my experience was a total hit. I hope these professionals stay with urgent care because they are fantastic.

This is an amazing caring smart urgent care. They have helped me numerous times and were the ones who noticed something wrong with my aunt leading to her cancer diagnosis. Had they not , Id likely not have been there to help her and she may have had a horrible experience and likely passed after a stroke home alone... Eternal gratitude. I love you everyone there.

I have gone previously numerous times and never had a problem. The last time they incorrectly billed my insurance, so I got a $300 bill. After numerous calls with them and my insurance company I was told it was a billing issue and they would resubmit it. I got an additional bill and called back and again was told it was being handled and to ignore the bill. I just received a bill from a collection agency. When I called Physician One I spoke to an extremely unhelpful/rude person who told me that my insurance wont pay it and its not her problem - I need to take it up with them. I have spoken to my insurance numerous times and have been told each time it is their fault - they were billing as an out of network MD instead of an urgent care. After numerous calls to Physician One instead of calling me back to let me know there was still an issue they sent it to collections. The amount of time I have spent dealing with their billing mistake is infuriating. I will never go back here again.

Tried to make an appointment online, but wasn’t successful. They were more than accommodating when I walked in. Friendly staff, hardly any wait time!

Yesterday, I had to quickly find a place after I accidentally sliced open my finger while washing dishes. I hurried to the Urgent Care center, where Zach warmly greeted me at the front desk. Victoria then escorted me to my room and skillfully cleaned my wound before Dave arrived to stitch up my finger. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Today, my hand feels much better, and Im grateful for the prompt and attentive care I received at the Brookfield location. I wholeheartedly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care for anyone in need of emergency care.

Was seen within fifteen minutes of arriving, check-in staff was friendly, medical staff were attentive and professional. The office is clean, and staff were practicing good infection control (masks, wiping down doorknobs and proper hand sanitation). Rapid Flu/Covid testing onsite. This is my go to office when I cant get in with my PCP.

At check in, the man there was so nice and had my best interest at heart. He was able to suggest that I do a virtual visit being that I was a walk-in and he didn’t want me to wait behind the people who had appointments. This made it easier for me to get in and out being that I wasn’t feeling so good. 10/10 highly recommend.

Cut my thumb- PA glued as opposed to stitches as it was close to fingernail.Had to return 2 hours later as wound continued to bleed.

The PA and medical assistants were great but only staffing one doctor a day while accepting so many patients meant that with an appt at 3pm I wasnt called to go into a room until 4pm, no one came in that room until 430pm, and I didnt leave until 6pm. The staff does the best they can but management needs more staff

The PA did address my medical issue but not until she gave me an attitude for not agreeing to a Covid flu test. I do not appreciate being judged on her beliefs.

Everyone was great. Still waited longer than my appointment. Advertisements for Physicians Urgent Care say they take X-rays , well I was sent to them from my Primary because they had nothing available. And I have pneumonia and they said they have a beautiful Radiology equipment and no technician. I was give antibiotics. We will see. But I would refer people to go there.

I visited PhysiciansCare Urgent Care in Brookfield CT complaining about coughing. They tested me for flu and covid 19 with negative results. Then I was seen by Physicians Assistant named David informed me that this is viral issue didnt prescribe any medications and discharge me. Today I went to AFC urgent Care in Danbury met with their doctor who diagnose my situation as sinus condition and prescribe me necessary medications for treatment.Thank God I went for a second opinion.

Update after my second visit is that the staff are just lovely. They really make you feel comfortable and calm.Was able to get a quick walk in appointment when I went right at opening. in and out in about an hour.

Second time going to this facility and the prescription they prescribed for me was NOT sent to my pharmacy! Wait time for my scheduled appointment was almost 1 hour.

The wait was a bit long due to a staffing issue. The intake individual was very professional n polite. The medical assistant Chrissy was great with our connection to N.Y.C. n Long Island. There time management is terrible I was taken in 30 mins late go my appointment then had to wait another hour and a half in a freezing cold room before the doctor even came in terrible service do not recommend this office ever

Incredible had no idea you could do a virtual video visit with the doctor and still do any type of testing that is needed in the local office! … even swab for Strep and Covid, who knew?! Saved a lot of time as the wait in office would have been 4 hours, incredible. Don’t hesitate to book a video visit- anything that’s needed in association with your virtual visit can be done in the local office. Will definitely utilize this in the future.

I have never been to and Urgent Care! I can say between the staff and the PA I have never felt so appreciate from both. They are very content and very professional in the care that I received. And now if I have to be at an urgent care that’s where I go. They are very heartwarming And understanding Staff at the Brookfield location.

The wait to be seen especially since I had an appointment , was way too long. However, the NP was quick and professional and got me out fast. If I didn’t feel so lousy I just would have waited to see my PCP.

The front desk staff were friendly and kindly helped me set up appointment on the phone. The wait was a bit long but the nurses and the PA listened to me carefully and didnt rush me. Good experience.

The PA I had was wonderful. She asked all the right questions and listened to me. The only downside was the wait, which was about an hour. When you don’t feel well and everyone around you is not well, the wait feels like an eternity.

Front desk was very friendly. Dr I saw Dr Davis or David. Said I dont have a sinus infection its viral and I dont need antibiotics. When ever I see this Dr he says the same thing and I go to a different Dr since my sinus infection doesnt go away. They give me antibiotics and I start getting better. He sucks as a Dr. Not sure why he insists everything is a virus and is so scared to give out antibodies. If he gives out the meds and it doesnt work then so be it. Its not coming out of his pocket. But I know my body and I get sinus infections all the time. I went somewhere else and they said I absolutely have a sinus infection and they gave me antibiotics again unlike him. I will never go back to this urgent care unless they get rid of this dr. He really sucks as a Dr.

I was extremely impressed and pleased with my visit. Everyone, from appointment booking, to receptionist, to all care personnel were welcoming, interested, and generous. My principal care provider took my complaints and concerns very seriously, and took time to explain thoroughly (irrespective of the fact that the clinic was closing). My experience here was great! There were no appointment times available so I did a walk in. I only waited about 15 minutes to get called back into a room. The nurse and PA were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely use this urgent care again.

If I could rate zero stars, I would!On Friday 1/26/24 I was a walk-in patient, after calling to confirm availability. I was quickly checked in and escorted into my room. After being reassured the provider would be in momentarily, I waited over an hour to be seen. During my vitals, I declined a Covid test because I was there for an upper respiratory/sinus infection; I gave my symptoms, none of which were Covid/flu concerns. I was then defensively greeted by Brian Fix, NP. Who literally refused to treat and diagnosis me without a Covid test. After a very heated 10 minutes of legit arguing back & forth, it was either test or go. He had a clear chip on his shoulder and let me know several times he was the doctor and he was in charge. I explained my children were also sick for the last 4 weeks with an awful cough, they had been tested for everything under the sun & being treated for a sinus infection and I have had symptoms for over a week + no Covid exposure, I felt confident we could just move on- well that wasnt the case. After a heated argument & almost walking out I caved & tested. When the nurse was swabbing me I asked for the providers name because I hadnt initially caught it and wanted to document my awful experience with a manager upon my departure, she began to say his name & he barged in demanding his name was Andy, when she literally just finished saying his name was Brian. After a very quick & less than complete exam I was told they would call me with the results even though I pleaded for antibiotics & an inhaler prior to leaving.A few hours later I received a call from Brian/Andy with an inconclusive result from my Covid test, only then when I asked if I could be treated for my initial complaint of sinus infection with antibiotics & an inhaler.This was not my first visit/experience at PhysicanOne, but it will be the absolute last.

Everyone there was very pleasant and helpful. Little bit of a wait but that’s because of this time here. Many people sick. They said I’m OK, but I think I have some kind of a sinus infection because of the way I feel. But flu, corona and strep throat tests all came back negative.

I was having a problem that was getting worse by the day. I called the specialist I have seen in the past and I wanted to see at Nuvance and I was not able to get through on the telephone. The recording stated I needed to go through the patient portal and request an appointment. I messaged them.for an appointment and the next day got a return message that said I will get a response in up to 3 business days! I was able to schedule and appointment with Physician 1 Urgent Care over the phone and I was seen in a few hours. The PA prescribed medication to fix my problem. I am feeling better after only 24 hours. Physicians 1 Urgent Care allows me to get help when my regular doctor is not free. I am grateful for that. I would still be in a great deal of pain right now if it was not for their urgent care.

On Sunday morning I arrived with an open wound on my leg to PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Brookfield. Pamela Barret, PA and Kelly Boles, MA, were excellent in the treating and bandaging of my wound. I would highly recommend them, and the Brookfield Urgent Care.

Came in a few days before Christmas with a terrible cough and all of the staff were extremely helpful & thorough. They even gave me a nebulizer treatment right then to help. Appreciated their support & kindness.

Came as a walk-in and was attended to right away. Everyone I encountered with was very friendly and pleasant to work with. By far the cleanest UC I’ve been in. Definitely coming back for any future issues.

The staff and doctor were friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, because of being short staffed, the wait time was insane. When I walked in, I could either wait for 2 hours or come back at 6:30pm. I came back at 6:30 but didn’t see the doctor until 7:15. By that time, the pharmacy was closed and I couldn’t fill my much needed prescription.

I went to UrgentCare and they mentioned two options. I chose one and they did exactly what they said. Any wait times were estimated and ended up being right on. They were all as nice and thorough as they could be. Viola told me exactly what would happen and explained completely. David came in later for his own testing and he also explained everything in detail. PA Kello listened to everything I had to say and then made a decision about my care. And the guy at the front desk (didnt get his name) was very patient and answered my numerous questions. I couldnt have been more pleased with this level of care.

Staff were lovely - every single person working there was dedicated and cheerful and polite - but I waited almost two hours to see the provider despite having an appointment. Provider there that weekend was a PA, not an MD, which was fine for my situation (possible Lyme) but might not have been for something more complicated.

I am new to Brookfield and had a very uncomfortable case of pink eye that I was trying to treat at home.Finally, gave up and went to Urgent Care. I did a tele health visit which was very convenient and allowed me to be seen sooner as opposed to waiting.I was quickly diagnosed and prescribed drops which did help.Going there was extremely helpful as my family do for us just too far away now to visit.

I walked in and was addressed immediately. There were appts ahead of me so they had an attendant take my vitals and test for strep, then I was able to have a telemed meeting with a doctor who sent an Rx to my pharmacy. In and out in 11/2 on a busy day. Not too bad.

My 7 year old daughter required stitches and was very upset and afraid. The PA Dave was AMAZING with her. He walked her through everything and because of him, she was completely calm the entire time. If it wasnt for him, Im not sure it would have went that well. Huge thanks to him for making a very scary situation not so scary anymore! Well never forget him amd will be forever thankful!

I booked an appointment at 1230 pm. Didnt leave until 3 pm. First you wait in the waiting room , then you wait again in the patient room. All you do is wait wait wait...what happened to URGENT CARE. the answer is always the same all we have is one provider available. Shouldnt you prepare for days like this whether its the holidays or not. Have providers on standby this way your only over working one provider n inconveniencing all the patients , when the sign clearly saids URGENT CARE. Its flu/cold season you the excuse given was we only have one provider....HERES MY QUESTION : WHY ONLY ONE. because you dont want to pay for a 2nd provider or theres not enough providers that want to work because the salary isnt good. Get it together. The staff is amazing, place is well kept but whomever is in charge of scheduling should be let go. Or the person whos job is to give the scheduler the green light should be let go.

Your website states that you treat for colds, flu, covid symptoms. I booked an appointment on line for 1:00 pm. I never saw Dave ( PA) until 2:44 pm. After examining me for a cold ( blugged yellow nose, left ear and running eye, he said ,after a history lesson on antibiotics over use, he couldnt give me an antibiotic. They knew at the front desk that I had cold symptoms you would of thought they would have said something. Now my insurance is getting billed and I will have to pay a co-pay for a history lesson.I will not go or recommend anyone to go there for anything.Respective submittedBill

I did not realize you can book an appointment on line. They are fully booked up on sundays but offered me a telemedicine appointment. The nurse took my vitals a Covid and flu test and could run any tests Dr ordered. I spoke with a PAAnd she prescribed and ordered my medication. It was very professional and I highly recommend their services.

Came into the clinic the other day with my mom and had such a great experience. First off Loni the PA was absolutely amazing. The clinic was so crowded with a line out the door. It was amazing they were even able to get us in. Loni was so funny and so amazing during the whole visit with my mom who had the flu. Her sense of humor and kind demeanor was astounding. These healthcare providers deserve the world for what they go through everyday, especially during this season. So thankful after coming here. Wish I had that type of care where I live in Florida.

Severely understaffed the day I went. Spent over 2 hours there as a walk-in. Willing to change the review if I go there and experience less wait time as it was likely a one-off. Only reason Im rating this 3 stars as the service once they got me in was great.

It was easy to make an appointment online to be seen. Only caution is leave enough time to complete paperwork online first. It was a bit clunky uploading my insurance card. Otherwise, the visit went smoothly and quickly. They were very busy but efficient and attentive. All staff very courteous!!

Although the staff continually apologized for the wait, I was there for only 90 minutes. The PA I saw was more helpful than my PCP four days before. I give them a lot of credit from Zach at the front desk to the MA and PA for their patience and care

I had a terrific experience at Brookfield Urgent Care. Dr Roberts and her assistant Viola were both incredibly pleasant. Dr Roberts took the time to listen to my explanation of what was ailing me. After examining me she gave me verbal advice and a comprehensive typed out report. She is truly amazing! I am now on the mend. Thank you, Dr Roberts!

Absolutely amazing office, extremely clean, and the staff is hands down the best i’ve interacted with. Zach at the front desk is an absolute angel and extremely friendly and even printed me a giant copy of my ID!! Haha, the doctor was also extremely friendly, straight to the point, and got me in and out! I was there for maybe 25 minutes!!!! Will now be making this my go to urgent care. (Heads up, call ahead before walking in so they can give you a time slot to arrive to ensure a speedy visit!!!)

Racist and inappropriate comments made by the nurse V.R. I am called to the back and her first comment when she sees me is “Oh! Youre Sergio? I wasnt expecting you as a Sergio. I was expecting a little Hispanic man! After escorting me to the exam room, she asks if I wanted water I said yes. She comes back and says Here you go! Agua I am talking to you in English. Why are you talking to me in Spanish?Disgusting and racist. Yes, I am Hispanic but I grew up in America and English is my first language. Disgusting and inconsiderate behavior by a medical professional. I will never be returning here and will spread the word to other Hispanics in my Brookfield community to avoid this establishment if this the kind of nursing staff they are hiring. I will be reporting this medical office to the Department of Health.

These guys were phenomenal. Last minute appointment due to a cancellation by another clinic. My insurance was new to them and rather than turn us away, they made the call. The care was very impressive, communication very good, and follow-through excellent.

I came in to leave urine sample so I came in with full bladder and had to wait. Difficult

I always liked Brookfield urgent care and will say the receptionist and one of the nurses I dealt with were very pleasant and professional. Went in with a high fever and tick bite, was treated for an early sinus infection and told I can’t be tested for any tick born illness for atleast 4 weeks. About 2 weeks later I’m back in there with a 104 fever asking for blood work, they tell me to come back at 1:30. After getting back there at 1:20 to an empty waiting room waiting room I wait till 2 to finally be seen. I got another Covid test which I didn’t mind because the previous nurse barely swabbed my nose, waited for about an hour had the dr walk in and say look we’re really busy and think you should just got to the ER and get blood work done there. He also proceeded to tell me I was jaundice which gave all the doctors and nurses at the ER a big laugh. The first doctor was rude and unprofessional in my opinion. The second doctor was nice enough he might need a little more experience though. EDIT after going to the hospital, the blood work came back positive for Lymes and Babesia. If urgent care had treated me and run bloodwork for tick born illnesses like I had asked the first time I would’ve been healthy 2 weeks sooner and not missed a full week of work. Save your self the trouble and just go to the emergency room instead of these clowns.

Arrived at a busy time but the wait was tolerable. Very friendly staff. Reviewed my symptoms, we discussed my concerns and sent in prescriptions. I wouldnt hesitate going back again should it be necessary.

Diagnosis was performed and examined lined in a thorough, sensible way unlike any other visit.

I think the PA was thorough and cared about my problem, which is my main ranking criteria. I had an 11:37 AM appointment, arrived early, about 11:20, and was not called in until about 12:10 PM. That could have been better.

I would not recommend this urgent care because I got there 15 minutes early for my appointment at 10:15. The wait times were not posted. At 11:03 I was called and put in a room. At 11:25 the nurse came in and took my vitals. Then at 12:00 the PA came into see me for 3 minutes then left the room to get my orders and returned 18 minutes after that. It was very frustrating.

Brought my 6 yr old here on a Saturday morning who was in severe pain. We got in quickly and the staff and doctor were excellent. They showed empathy and compassion handling the situation. Then they also took the time to change a prescription to a different pharmacy since CVS on federal rd was useless! Very happy with how my son was treated. Highly recommend!
