Big shout out to the nurse practitioner who treated me, Adetutu. So down to earth and made a typically uncomfortable experience like an exam so natural and comfortable. Very knowledgeable and kind. Also my appt was handled quickly and I didn’t have a long wait at all.

I had a horrible experience here. I misunderstood what they were capable of doing in part because they have services on their website that they dont actually do. These had to do with gynecology health/prevention/screening services; this is not why the experience was horrible though. When I went in they explained this to me and I still needed a Pap smear so they did that. It was incredibly painful, unlike anything Ive ever experienced. I almost was screaming. The person who did it did not offer to stop. She then did a pelvic exam where I did experience some tenderness in one area. Then she sent someone else in to do a transvaginal ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was kind just like everyone else there except for the person who did the Pap. After the ultrasound, I was told to get dressed and the original Pap smear person would come in and talk to me. Moments into me getting up to get dressed, she comes in. Like hello? Can I put on pants first? So she left and was gone for several minutes after. Finally, she comes in. She answers some questions. Increasingly frustratingly. Finally, I asked what to do about the awful pain from the Pap smear, and she told me to talk to my therapist because it must be psychological. Based on what, a pelvic exam and an ultrasound? No one can rule out physical issues with cervical pain that way. I was livid and left as soon as I could.I submitted a complaint on their website and they had the clinic I went to call me to tell me that I could complain to the specific locations manager.THIS IS NOT TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE. Do better FPA.

Going to the doctors can sometimes be unpleasant. However the team at FPA treated me with the upmost care and kindness. Marjorie in particular was extremely helpful and professional. The doctor provided excellent care and was very informative. Would highly recommend. Thanks again FPA!

Everyone here is really nice!! I get super anxious going to any kind of doctors office, especially when it comes to my health as a woman but everyone here was kind and thorough in speaking with me!

I had a great experience going to get a new IUD. The staff answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable. I did end up waiting over an hour after my appt to be seen by the dr but once she was there, it was fast and easy. Thank you!!

I highly recommend FPA Womens Health Clinic. I love this place! I had a couple visits at the Canoga Park, CA location. All the staff and health care providers at this location were very warm, friendly, knowledgeable, informative and professional. Service was very prompt and I didnt wait long at all to be seen. The entire appointment was very prompt as well, but still very thorough. The staff made me feel very comfortable and made sure to answer any questions I had. This was a much more positive and enjoyable experience compared to other womens clinics Ive been to, where you have to wait extensive periods of time to be seen and even more extensive periods of time for the whole appointment process, along with staff that seems more cold and disconnected from patient interaction. So my experience at Canoga Park FPA Womens Health Clinic was great!! Im so glad I found them! Ive found my new womens health home, and will continue to go there for all my needed services. And Ill also be recommending them to friends and family. Thank you Canoga Park FPA Womens Health Clinic. Keep up the exceptional work!

FPA health is the place to go to Ladies!I was at Owensmouth, Canoga park, Ca. From Jade at the front desk right through to Dr Ina was a very pleasant experience. Dr Ina was very gentle and very thorough and took time, did not rush. Unfortunately they don’t deal with more serious conditions, for that you still need to see a specialized OBGYN.Thank you, you are all awesome at this office! Keep up the good work!

Great service. Everyone working here are very nice. The nurse practitioner who helped me was very professional and took time to listen and answer questions. She explained every step of what she was doing during the examination. I was looking for a very long time to find somewhere to go to that takes my insurance and I found this on my own, not even on my insurance website. Clean too. I really recommend it.

The staff here is friendly and caring. I arrived before my appointment and they were so fast at getting me checked in. The doctor has excellent bedside manner, she made me feel at ease with my concerns. I highly recommend this clinic! 🙏🏼♥️♥️♥️

The entire staff was incredibly helpful and compassionate. Seeing a doctor for womens health can be incredibly unnerving, even more so if you have any type of trauma in your background. These wonderful women were all so friendly and nice and understanding. It felt like a very safe environment and lots of information was provided about a wide variety of topics - birth control, vaginal disease, STDs, etc. There was no shame or judgement, and none of the usual condescending questions used to make you feel like an idiot. I greatly appreciated my experience and would highly recommend this company.

I was nervous scheduling the appointment, because I have zero experience with the organization. Things that helped ease that nervousness were:calling and speaking with a human-being, not an answering service,calling and not being put on hold,ease of scheduling the appointment,price transparency,and allowing me to ask pre-appointment preparation questions.The clinic was quiet and not crowded. This could have been because my appointment was so early in the morning, but it was comforting. I dont think the staff went out their way to be overly-polite, rather (as a staff) everyone is just welcoming and very helpful. I had to have a relatively uncomfortable procedure performed, and the woman performing the procedure, I think her name was Jessa, was so gentle that the procedure was not uncomfortable at all. Another thing that stuck out to me was speaking with someone in depth about my medical history and the reason for the visit prior to payment. At my PCP and Planned Parenthood payment is taken before the visit begins, which is off-putting. Most people are more comfortable with paying for services, after they have been performed. I was comfortable speaking up for any misconceptions the staff may have had about my medical history (because I wasnt being very clear). Scheduling following up appointments was easy, especially in comparison to my PCP when I cant get an appointment for weeks on end.They do not have their own parking, but there is plenty of street parking (some free and some not).I was comparing my visit to the experiences Ive had at large chain hospitals in CA, Planned Parenthood in CA, and the way womens health is practiced where I am from (not CA). My experience at FPA Womens Health was the closest Ive ever gotten to receiving the high level of attention and care I am accustomed to where I am from (not CA). Other notable staff members who helped make my experience so positive were Melissa (I think thats the receptionists name), Monica, and Myra.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Monica helped me figure out what was the best option for me and answered every one of my questions efficiently. The girl that drew my blood was very gentle and worked fast which was a plus because I am very afraid of needles. The nurse Tierra was also very friendly and gentle. She made sure that I left the clinic with no questions. I highly recommend this clinic for women who are looking for help in their reproductive health. The clinic is also very very clean and plays a good radio station.

The receptionist, the assistants to the doctor who took care of me for my nexplanon extraction and getting a new one. Extremely grateful for a good and welcoming staff.

I came here after my regular doctor failed to care about my needs, and the ladies here at FPA are amazing. They are kind, friendly, and get you in and out quickly. 2 of them in particular have helped me quite a bit, Monica who usually processes my paperwork and another gal with wonderfully wild hair that finalizes my visit, she was the one who talked me through some of my services and made sure I fully understood what reproductive health options were available and which ones might suite my body.

I arrived a few minutes early & they were able to get me in right around the time of my appointment. Once I was in, it took maybe 30-45 minutes for the entire process. When I went to the Mission Hills location, it took a minimum of 30-40 minutes before I was even examined.Im definitely going to use the Canoga Location going forward.Only downside for me -- lack of phone signal (sprint/T-mobile) I believe its due to the way the building was built haha.Thanks again Canoga Location for the warm personalities and for not making me feel like Im waiting forever!

Every step of the way the staff was very friendly and professional. I will be coming here from now on because the service is really superb. Also, the doctor was great. I thought that it was going to be some ugly clinic but it is the best of the best. Highly recommend.

After having a very negative experience with another hospital/doctor, I found FPA Women’s Health through their website. I first went to Canoga Park, and even though the NP couldn’t complete the procedure, the staff and NP were so kind and took the time to hear my concerns. I was then referred to Long Beach, where the staff were again so kind and Dr. Steward was amazing. I went in for a difficult Nexplanon removal, and she was able to locate and remove it within minutes.This is the most positive experience I’ve had with any clinic. I spent months with another hospital (who shall remain unnamed) trying to get this nexplanon removed. FPA Women’s Health scheduled my appointments quickly and were able to finally get it removed. Highly recommend FPA Women’s Health!!

I went for an IUD insertion and then check-up. Each time I went I felt no shame asking questions of the process. They inform you well and are patient. Overall, very nice and patient staff members.

This visit was fast and efficient. I was kind of shocked lol. But the ladies there are always kind, helpful and and thorough. Ive been a few times this late year and the nurse practitioner has been helpful in trying to figure out what’s going on with me.

Unprofessional and careless. I’d recommend going to a different location just so you don’t waste your time

They told me they had available appointments all day, so I took the first one and was waiting for 3 hours before I ever actually talked to a doctor.For my actual exam they left me undressed in a cold room for a half an hour.The waiting rooms were so packed patients didn’t even have chairs to sit,, it seems like they are very busy just shuffling clients from room to room but don’t have resources to actually help their patients.

With an accomadating, personable nurse practitioner, and friendly staff, nice clean and comfortable facility with a t.v in both waiting rooms, and virtually no wait, it was a great overall experience.

I had a smooth, wonderful, experience. All the ladies were kind, helpful, and patient. They were also kind to my 3 year old daughter and they treated her to some snacks, which of course helped and she loved as well. 🥰 Staff was great! 😊 Thank you! ✨✨✨

The staff at this location are absolutely wonderful. It definitely shows how they strive to make a patient feel comfortable while also keeping you informed. They also keep their facility spotless clean.

This was my first experience where an OBGYN office made me feel comfortable and safe!The staff were super friendly, and the nurse practitioner, she was amazing and very helpful and kind!

Stacy the nurse is super insensitive and unprofessional. She can be aggressive and rude. The receptionists don’t look friendly. The nurse who takes blood is nice but seems like she forgets some things like putting bandaids on you after drawing blood. I only enjoyed one nurse there but everyone else looks bitter.

Everyone was helpful. The nurses were very professional and kind to me and answered all of my questions that I had. This was my first visit at a clinic that left a very good impression on me.

This clinic has helped me recover from a traumatic experience, by teaching me to accept and nurture my feminine health. The staff is friendly and non-judgmental. Im really happy I found this place!

Super helpful! Don’t be afraid to ask questions even if you think they’re dumb. The staff is so nice and sweet. They’re super considerate toward you, your feelings, and your situation. Definitely would recommend coming here if you ever need help with reproductive things.

From the lovely women at the desk, to Melissa who did my intake, to the health provider than did my procedure, each person was kind, professional, and considerate. They treat you like a person and not a co-pay. I appreciated that they explained everything clearly so there were no surprises. I highly recommend, your hoo-hoo will thank you.
