Finding a new doctor in a new city can be daunting, but I struck gold with Dr. Edward Powers and his incredible medical staff. As someone who recently moved to Dallas, I was anxious about finding an OBGYN who could meet my needs and make me feel comfortable. Dr. Powers exceeded all my expectations.From my first visit, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the clinic. Dr. Powers truly stands out for his exceptional care and genuine concern for his patients. Unlike many doctors, he takes the time to listen to every concern, no matter how small. He approaches each issue with a thoroughness and empathy that is both reassuring and rare.The medical staff at Dr. Powers office are equally commendable. They are professional, kind, and always ready to assist. Whether it’s scheduling appointments or answering questions, they go above and beyond to make sure patients feel valued and cared for.For anyone new to Dallas or simply looking for a top-tier OBGYN, I cannot recommend Dr. Edward Powers and his team highly enough. They have made a significant positive impact on my healthcare experience, and I am truly grateful to have found such an outstanding provider.

Dr. Powers has perfect bedside manners, gentle, listens, you don’t feel rushed and doesn’t give creep vibes…definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new OB/Gyn

My partner and I went to this practice for the entirety of her pregnancy. We had a wonderful and positive experience from confirming the pregnancy, appointments, tests, delivery, and then the post 6-week appointment.We had Dr. Powers who was very personable and made the experience a lot less stressful. Our questions and concerns were answered and we were made of aware of what to expect. The front desk personnel and assistants made the billing process and tests to be expected smooth with no surprises.My one nitpick would just be that some of the equipment at this practice feel a bit dated, but didnt affect the experience too much. I have heard of some practices that rotate doctors during the pregnancy, but it was wonderful to have Dr. Powers from the start and to the end including at the delivery. That day seemed like he was very busy with multiple deliveries but he still made time to come see us at the end to see that we had no concerns.

I am an established patient, and EVERY time I come in for an appointment, I end up waiting AT LEAST 45 minutes to be seen. The wait is awful but I love my OB.

I’ve have 4 different doctors for each of my kids and I feel like I’ve finally found the OB that I’ll stay with long term. I would say that generally I’ve liked my other doctors in my past pregnancies, but there’s something about Dr Powers that’s truly special. No matter how busy he is, he always takes the time to make you feel heard… I never feel rushed or uncared for. He explains everything in detail and calls about test results. The ladies at the front desk are very nice, and I’ve never had any issues with scheduling or rudeness. And the nurses, sono, and lab tech are the sweetest people. The whole team is so kind to my husband and kids. They really make you feel good about being there no matter the circumstance. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone that’s expecting!

I would not go back to this office. Although the office staff was nice, it took over an hour to see Dr. Powers. Furthermore, I was seeing Dr. Powers for the first time for an issue, nothing routine. He did not examine me at all. He did not even touch me. He gave me a lame explanation for my issue. How could he diagnose me or even speculate without an examination? I have been going to a gyn for over 30 years, and there has not been ONE time in which I have gone in for an issue and did not have an examination. He want me to go back for a follow up. For what? I dont what to verbalize his reasons for not examining me but I have my suspicions.

This practice only cares about getting as much money out of their patients as they can. I requested an insurance form be signed (not filled out, just a signature) for my insurance wellness incentive. I ended up getting a bill in the mail days later for said signature and their reasoning was that it was a “medical record form”. I asked for proof of a form or a sign in the facility that would have made me aware that they charge for signatures and they could not provide that. I was polite and patient with Brandi from the admin office and she was nothing but rude when I asked questions and as an end result asked me “so what do you want?” 😊. How disgusting. Please do better before you are reported for improper billing practice.

Booked an appointment for “pregnancy problem”… which I would think would entail a sonogram. I mean I’m not sure what pregnancy problem you can fix without a sonogram.So I called to confirm my appointment and1. The lady was extremely rude and I could barely hear her (made call at 10:15 AM Tuesday 5/30, to reference who I was speaking to). I told her the problem, which has us worried about miscarrying and she was COMPLETELY dismissive. I’ve never seen anyone so dismissive to someone worried about losing a child.. especially working in a OB’s office.2. She proceeds to tell me I only had an OB visit and that she can’t see me today.This is horrible because if i knew i didn’t have the appointment i needed i wouldn’t have taken off work. Now im forced to go to the ER because i doubt anyone can see me so last minute.This is so crazy and if i could rate 0 stars.. i would.

We got a surprise bill from the 3rd party lab for a genetic test, for 10x what it should have been (billed via HSA insurance rather than cash payment). I left a voicemail and a review here freaking out about it, but thankfully within 15 minutes I got a call from their office manager and she let me know that the bill shouldnt have been so high, that they are very familiar with the labs pricing, and it should have been lower.After we got off the phone, she called up the lab and worked with them to get the bill corrected and the crisis was averted. If you get a surprise bill, dont freak out; give their office a call and they will help sort things out!

Today I saw Dr. Powers and he was very attentive. He definitely made me feel welcome and answered any questions I had. Going to an OBGYN has never been comfortable for me, but Im glad I can look forward to coming back for checkups with Dr. Powers. The staff there was very awesome too. Glad to finally be able to find a doctors office that eases my nerves, because I do not like doctors offices whatsoever! Great work, yall.

Dr Martín is amazing. I have been seeing her for a couple years now. Best obgyn I’ve ever had. She is thorough and listens to any concerns. You can tell she really cares for her patients and makes you feel comfortable. The office staff is friendly and the phlebotomists are experienced and quick. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new obgyn.

Dr Hays made me feel very comfortable and answered a lot of questions. I Love her and highly recommend her. The only con is its often a 1 hr wait time for all appointments. As long as you are flexible with spending 3 hours at the doctor, then Id recommend.

I am incredibly blessed to be a patient of Dr. Carter, nurse Amanda and staff. My health and well being have been exponentially improved under their care.

Dr Martin is an amazing doctor, professional, and with great bed side manners. I have been seeing her for years and now she is the doctor for my daughters too. She is an expert in wide range of issues not only pregnancy. Cannot recommend her more.

Ive had excellent experiences here with Dr. Farris in 2018 and now Dr. Powers, who took the time to actually read through my chart and talk through some questions and concerns with me. They make scheduling a breeze and Ive not had to wait long. The office staff is lovely as well - I really appreciate that they were able to help with some insurance questions!

I had a poor experience with administrative staff and this is the reason for my one star. Nothing is more frustrating than being charged for a service not rendered. I scheduled a fertility consultation and when my appointment occurred was told by the physician that I would need a referral for a specialist. I was very clear when I spoke with the office staff scheduling that the appointment was a fertility consult. If the physician was unable to offer a consult, why did the staff schedule one and charge me $125? So frustrating! Beware!

I love Dr Hays. She is incredibly thorough and leaves no stone unturned. Its my first pregnancy and have loved the support of this practice. The only downside is that I find I can spend 2+ hrs here waiting at an appointment as the doctor is so busy. I plan for it now and perhaps that’s typical of all medical practices.

I am giving only 3 stars and isnt because of my experience with my doctor. Dr. Martin is an excellent doctor, shes been my doctor for over 15 years. Shes excellent! The ladies at the front desk are show exceptional service as well. But the Phlebotomist were AWFUL! I admit I have difficult veins but being stuck 5 times is a bit much. There were 2 phlebotomist and one was in training. She only stuck me once. The senior phlebotomist had a bad attitude, lacked professionalism & was not kind. She was able to finally get blood from the most sensitive area - my inner wrist. After drawing the blood, then she checked to see how much Dr. Martin needed. Luck for me, she had gotten enough. Out of all my years at this office, todays experience was by far the absolute worse. What will keep me returning will be my doctor, Dr. Amy Martin.

I was very pleased with Dr. Hays. She took time to listen and formulated an appropriate plan of care. I have already referred a friend to her!

One of the nicest front office staff! Always helpful and can always squeeze me in for an appointment when I need.

I went in with an issue and a biopsy was done but no information on how to care for the biopsy when I left. A day or two later I realized I would need to actually get some Information as the wound was not responding to normal wound care. The results came in and the nurse called me not the doctor, the test rendered no findings and when I asked how to care for the deep flesh exposure I was told by the nurse not doctor Martin to use Hydrocortisone (isnt this an itch cream) so I Googled and yeah there were several ways to care for it and none were provided, none included Hydrocortisone. I will not be returning.

The office itself was very clean and well managed!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I LOVE how they have sliding glass doors to keep the patients in the lobby from hearing private information about other patients. The staff and doctors are very professional. The office manager is AMAZING and helps with any concerns or problems you may have. I would recommend this office to anyone. Great all around experience!!

I made an appointment yesterday at 3:22 pm for my wife for today at 11:00 am and this was confirmed by someone over the phone. Today they have no information on this appointment now that we are here. Complete waste of time and they offered no apologies and didn’t even ask us if we wanted to reschedule. Lots of attitude at the desk and we are pleasant people. We are taking our business elsewhere. They really take the care out of health care.

After more than a year... wasting time and energy, Dr power was nice but he didnt know how to help me, he is a doctor and didnt help me to improve my health is worse now, I tried everything he told me and for nothing, I told him many time how badly I was and now I have deep anemia and he did nothing, I gain a lot of weight for his recommendations so not more.

Not new patient friendly. Waited over 45+ mins after my appointment time to be called, while many people after me kept being seen. Won’t be returning. Very disappointed
