I have been going to this clinic for years and the service has severely decreased. As a professional woman (with experience working in health care), I would expect other women to treat patients with respect. I scheduled an appointment, arrived at the date and time I scheduled and the receptionist told me I did not schedule for that day. She said my appointment was the following week (a different day) and looked at me with disgust and chuckled to herself. I know I would not schedule an appointment on the day she mentioned for personal reasons and I couldn’t believe she thought it was okay to treat someone so poorly. The fact that this establishment allows this kind of treatment for patients is unbelievable. If I didn’t respect my doctor I would go elsewhere. There are some lovely nurses and other staff, however if you don’t care to help people and make patients feel comfortable you shouldn’t be working in a patient-facing role.

I am utterly appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and care at this clinic. I showed up for a long-awaited procedure, only to be told—after being checked in, undressed, and left waiting—that they didn’t have my records on file. This was despite my PCP having sent the necessary documents weeks in advance. After driving across town to retrieve the documents myself, I returned to the clinic only to be met with dismissive, unhelpful staff who couldn’t even verify if my records were in the right place.The fact that they have five different fax numbers and couldnt confirm where the documents were sent is not just inconvenient—its absurd, maybe even a HIPPA violation! No one verified my paperwork before scheduling or confirming my appointment. I had to chase down answers myself, and even then, I was given the runaround. The sheer incompetence here is mind-boggling, and the lack of concern for patients is disgusting.Avoid this place if you value your time and health. They clearly do not.

Theres something VERY ODD about this gynecology practice. Patients need to be very conscientious about the paperwork theyre completing and closely review their medical records. Why do I say this? Call me crazy, but if the pre-screen questionnaire for women includes sexual activity options such as WIFE BARRIER and POSTMENOPAUSAL WIFE, SOMEBODYS going to have to answer some questions for me to ensure that this groups gynecologic practices are modern and relevant for current-day women - regardless of our marital status.This is 2024, NOT 1954.I was shocked to find these two options in their pre-appointment questionnaire. Im not sure how menopause differs physiologically in a wife versus any other woman in or out of a relationship, and I dont even want to guess what a wife barrieris (Google has no clue either)! Im not opening my legs until I get some answers.When I called the office to get clarity before my appointment, the receptionist displayed the same nasty attitude as others have commented. I left a voicemail for the nurse manager but my call was never returned. BEWARE.

Arrived and had very little wait time. Woman at the desk was so pleasant and friendly. The nurse was very nice . Rosemary was very patient with my questions. She was very easy to talk to. I would be glad to see her again.

The level of professionalism at this practice is severely lacking, with receptionists and nurses exhibiting rude behavior. The doctors and ultrasound technicians also demonstrate a lack of manners and decency when interacting with pregnant women. Regrettably, choosing this practice has been a mistake, and we have experienced this firsthand, resulting in significant loss. Despite my wifes two visits to the ER at Stamford and Norwalk during her pregnancy, her doctor, Dr. Kelly, did not make time to check on her.

Dump! Some of the nurses and doctors are nice, but one of the receptionist is extremely nasty, and one of the nurses is a monster too, also my friend had a medical condition that they didn’t even catch. I wouldn’t trust them with my baby.

After calling ahead and notifying that my wife was running late, the two elder women at the front desk treated my wife horribly. Humiliated her and laughed as they called the Doctor Jennifer Ryan and told her she will not be seen for arriving 12 minutes late. One of the clerks through a form to the other for my wife to sign as if in disgust. We will be pulling out of this office immediately. Dr Henriquez would be so disappointed, he will be missed.

My fiancé called to make me an appointment as I have EXTREME anxiety and as I am pregnant I can’t take any of my meds. The receptionist was very rude and condescending then stated there was a problem with my insurance when he hadn’t even given them my insurance information yet she claimed it was odd he was making an appointment for me I have never had this issue if anything I have gotten on the phone for a quick min to give him permission to talk for me. You have any kind of mental illness I would stay away just for the receptionist alone they treat you like an inconvenience.

I’m extremely frustrated with this clinic. I got my appointment rescheduled 2 times after Doctor Tissot make me wait 3 months to be seen and when I finally got there 10 minutes late, I was told that she could not see me. This was ridiculous because everytime I went there they make you wait 15 m on that waiting room an she could not wait 10 m for me. It shows that they do not care about the patient all they care is money! I was left untreated and had to look for another clinic. Terrible!

I have quite literally never spoken to a more rude and sociopathic receptionist in my life until today. I called for an ultrasound regarding an ER emergency room referral. I was given strict instructions by their OB team and given this address to make an appointment for Friday.This receptionist refused to make an appointment for me stating Im not a current patient so I cant be seen. She literally refused treatment. I am reporting this location to the department of health. No place of business should be operating in such a manner. Especially when you call with an emergent follow up matter and are refused care.Oh and the kicker? She told me to call a location that doesnt even do OB ultrasounds. Great job!

Everyone is knowledgeable, timely, and nice. I had an awesome OBGYN experience for my first pregnancy. Highly recommend Drs. Ivanovic, Berry, and Kelly, and ultrasound tech Danielle. Will be back in 2-3 years for the next baby!

Certainly not the same caring, kind, compassionate, professional business that Dr.M. Satchi built. You are only a number now, nothing more. Dr. Andrea Barry is the most callous non caring doctor i have ever met. She should go do something she enjoys. Clearly this is not it.

Just called to get a quick appointment sometime this week. The receptionist that I spoke with was helpful, friendly and kind. She was able to squeeze me in to see someone tomorrow.

Very disappointed that I need to share this review because Mr. Goldstein is Great. However the front desk and whoever handles insurance is awful. I need to schedule my annual and they refused to see me just because I owe such a small balance which I’m still trying to figure out with my insurance company. They don’t care if you are their patient smh. They are like sorry we won’t schedule an appt for you smh

Been going to this office for a few years and started having bad experiences here while pregnant with some of the obgyns . I was turned down from my appointment which took me 5 days to schedule because no one picks up the phone or does call backs ; simply because I had my son with me. Before scheduling they really should let you know that they don’t allow kids, this is the only doctors office I have ever been to that does this. The front desk people are also rude. The only Dr there worth seeing is Jennifer Ryan. I would go elsewhere for your appointments

Delivered my son 3 years ago. I had a typical uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery. I have to say, however, I had a back labor and extreme pain and they wouldnt admit me and made me walk around the hospital for an hour and come back under the threat of sending me home if I didnt dilate in that time to a specific size. Instead of being in a comfortable room and trying to utilize a bath, shower, ball etc. to relieve the pain, I was made walk around Danbury hospital for an hour and a half, carrying bags around and screaming in pain ever 2-3 minutes while bystanders and patients in the hallways were watching. When I finally was admitted I was offered epidural but it took several hours to get it and by the time I got it and was finally placed in my delivery room it was too late for bath or anything else I was in so much pain. Once I felt my body was ready to push, I couldnt hold it, the doctor was still not there. I had to wait and I think the nurse was the one helping me. When the doctor finally came (with an intern) there was a football game on TV so he was watching the game in between my contractions while the intern was there talking me through the process and comforting me. Follow up after pregnancy is non-existent. Appointments later are fast, rushed. Office staff and office manager is the worst part of the entire establishment. They make you feel like you are a nobody, just another woman that needs something. So rude and careless. No smiles, no how are you, hows the baby? You can wait for them 45 minutes to be seen but god forbid you are late 15-20 minutes. You wasted their time and will be turned away without any care of your time and arrangements you had to make to come to that appointment. So basically only their time is valuable, patients are nobody. Asked to talk to the doctor and got told to leave because he will not have time to talk to me, while it was my scheduled appointment time. NEVER trying to be understanding or accommodating. Just want to collect payments and push you out. You are just another body, not a person, not an individual. Took me this long to post a review but finally I felt like I had enough. The worst practice in the area. Switching providers. I deserve better than this. Anyone deserves better than this.

Place has a lot of bad reviews and not sure why. I always get calls back within 24 hrs. The receptionists are very nice. The ultrasound tech Danielle was super sweet. I easily get appts when I need them. The patients only thing is because of covid so thats pretty normal. I have no complaints.

I’ve been a patient of this place for 8 years now. Everyone has always been amazing and kind. However, after giving birth I’ve been trying for 2 months now to get on birth control with no success. The first time I made the appointment to get on it, the agent put it as a consult for birth control and not to actually get on birth control even though I had already talked to 2 different doctors about it. So it was a waste of my time and money because I already knew about the BC I wanted to get on. Then the receptionist gave me an apt for a month later because she stated I needed to be on my period for me to be on birth control. ( I’m breastfeeding so I had no period) and the doctor didn’t mention that I had to be on my period either. But the receptionist insisted and what could I do? I told her I had a child and mornings would be best and she disregarded that. Today was supposed to my appt and it was canceled due to the weather which I completely understand. But I know that when I call today to reschedule, they’re going to do it a month from now AGAIN, by then It’s going to be 3 months of me trying to get on birth control.

This place charges you for a telehealth visit just to get RESULTS from your doctor. I literally had a 30 second phone call with my doctor in which she told me that the results of my ultrasound were unremarkable and I was charged $155 for a telehealth visit. When I explained that it was a 30 second phone call, and not a telehealth visit, they explained to me that it’s their policy to charge for a full appointment for your doctor to call you with results. This is outrageous. Other doctors’ offices do not do this. Don’t tolerate it. Go somewhere else.

Honestly. Pretty disappointed. I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Both my babies were delivered by doctors in this office. My most recent baby was delivered January of ‘22. I called to schedule a 6 week postpartum checkup and I was told I am not allowed to bring my infant who I just had… even though he is exclusively breastfed he is not allowed in the office with me bc it’s “ patients only” is what I am told. So, they can deliver my baby but won’t allow him in the office in his car seat for a quick 5 minute appointment. And not to mention they keep you waiting up to an hour to see the doctor. I wonder how many moms have missed their 6 week postpartum appt due to their newborns not allowed. Do better. They’ve lost a patient bc I won’t be returning.

Ive been going to this practice since I was a teenager. I had my first child with them, and they were nothing but compassionate when a family emergency arrived just prior to my due date. They were able to be flexible with appointments and scans for my prenatal care, and were extra accommodating when I went into the hospital for delivery. Yes, there is always quite a wait time, but I know they have been flexible for me, and I extend the same courtesy to other patients.

This place is fine if you don’t plan on having kids but if you get pregnant run for the hills. My very first ultrasound they refused to let me hear the heartbeat and said “I can show you the waves but the volume stays off at the first appointment” then after 2 months of waiting for my next ultrasound (where I can finally hear the heartbeat for the first time) Danielle, who was the ultrasound tech, refused to let me record the experience because, and I quote, “with HIPAA, sometimes we say things that could get us in trouble if someone is recording.” Major red flag if you ask me. I asked to speak to a supervisor, conveniently there was no one in that day so they had dr Kelly speak to me. She claims it’s policy that we can’t record what would be a precious once in a lifetime moment for us. I never signed anything stating this or was given paperwork with this rule stated. When I asked to view the policy in black and white she said she didn’t know where it was. Overall terrible experience and I’m happy they will no longer be the practice involved in my birth.

Had my first appointment at Candlewood today and from check-in throughout my visit, it was first class all the way. The office is super nice and clean. Everyone who I spoke to was very kind and helpful. My doctor, Jennifer West was patient, informative and never for one second did I feel rushed. Her beside manner is second to none. I felt instantly comfortable and she went the extra mile to be sure that was the case. After trying many OBGYNs in the area with little success, I am happy to say I have finally found the perfect practice. Thanks to all!

I have been coming to this practice for 44 years and have always had a very positive experience. My doctor for the last 10 years or so has been Dr. Goldstein and I always found him to be very professional and caring. He followed up with questions I had, calling me in Florida, to make informed decisions about an upcoming surgery.The staff has always been very pleasant as well.

The staff was rude from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. I’ll never forget my first pregnancy, they wouldn’t allow my husband to join me in our FIRST child’s ultrasound/first appointment, nor was I allowed to FaceTime, wasn’t allowed to take photos or videos of my own ultrasound. But other mom’s I knew who have gone to this establishment were able to do so….I’ll never remember the names of the staff that worked there but I certainly remember how they made me feel, felt like I was just a number here. I switched to the birthing center, and never looked back.

If you want to make an appointment here you need to know that The clinic must be the worst of all. They sent a wrong medication and I had to use it because I needed it that day. The next month I called (I asked for the medication a week before) and I drove an hour to arrive to the pharmacy and guess what? my medication hadnt been shipped. The communication is terrible. Im pretty dissatisfied with this service.

Patty from insurance and Latisha were a nightmare to deal with when I called excited to schedule an appointment to confirm pregnancy. They were unprofessional saying my insurance never paid them for the delivery of my first child dated back almost two years. I received continuous collection bills from Candlewood Center for Women’s Health: Patty and Latisha said “we cannot schedule an appointment, your insurance didn’t pay.” Going on and on over the phone. This is YOUR job to deal with my insurance not mine. I have coverage and you send me away? I contacted my insurance rep and within three days she straightened Candlewood out and I could now schedule an appointment with them and how they were wrong. I switched to Caremount in Brewster. I had a wonderful delivery with Dr. Goldstein with my first child, but who wants continuous collection bills and to be sent away by Patty from billing and Latisha from scheduling.

I had my 1st Mammogram here in 2021. That experience was quick & easy. My next one was today JAN 6, 2022.My appt was for 8:40. I arrived at 8:28. The tech finally called me back at 9:00. The receptionist NEVER told the tech I was there.

Dr Goldstein is wonderful, compassionate, reliable and professional. I was skeptical in having a male gynecologist but once I had him for my lap surgery and followed with him ever since, it’s been so great! Never made me uncomfortable. I’d recommend him to anybody looking.

I’m a big fan of this practice. Everyone I’ve encountered has been friendly and/or gone out of their way to help me. The only person I’ve ever had a problem with is Linda but she’s the office manager so I don’t have to see her or deal with her regularly or now at all. Dr. Henriquez and Dr. Barry are my go-tos but all of the doctors are phenomenal. Most people ask about how the doctors are which is why I went into that first but I have to say the nurses are above and beyond but they need to be, every practice every hospital should have nurses like Candlewood. I was so upset one day that a nurse that I always talk to even though she had off, called me to make sure I was okay and to reassure me. Best healthcare hands-down.

Absolutely fantastic office. I have recently completed a gestational Surrogacy journey and was able to have appointment with each Dr there, they are are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and compassionate, and allowed me to have the parents on FaceTime to keep them involved in the appointments from far away. I really appreciated their care and understanding in a unique situation like Surrogacy. I had a rare complication that sent me back to that Hospital and Dr Goldstein, Dr Kelly and Dr May were wonderful on checking up on me, Dr Kelly kept me laughing and smiling and I am so grateful for her, Dr Goldstein and the wonderful staff.

Was very well taken care of my whole pregnancy and always call me back with any major concerns I have that can’t wait. I feel like they truly care about their patients and everyone in the office is super nice. But if I had to recommend anyone I would recommend Dr. Ivanvic and Dr. Tissot!

Been a patient here for 2 years now. Went today 2/24 because I have pain and I was turned down because I went with my 1 year old.I had no idea you couldnt bring your kids with you. Due to covid. Come on its 2023, this is the only doctor that does this!Now who knows when incan go back

The doctors here are great but the medical assistants and some nurses are terrible!!! The medical assistant who helped me today was harsh and rude in a place where many women (me) already feel uncomfortable. To make it worse, the same assistant who was rude to me was there during my exam. She gave me MAJOR anxiety

MEDICAL RECORDS DEPT: FAILThe nursing staff and doctors are lovely and efficient.Unfortunately I received awful customer care from the medical records dept. I simply needed them to fax two sheets that I hand delivered to them and paid for to be filled out by medical records dept to my insurance. I just gave birth two weeks ago and am waiting for a hefty bill in the mail which is fine. But as a client of theirs I would expect just a small amount of accommodation and for them to fax my sheets over to my insurance so that I can avoid an extra hour on the road while timing things so that my newborn is fed and cared for at home since I’m not taking them out of the house for obvious reasons. The coronavirus is still a thing. But I’m told “they don’t fax”. So it took me 3 trips there to finally accomplish delivering, getting the paperwork filled out and then finally picking it up and heading to a store to fax it myself because “they don’t fax”. Meanwhile when I pick it up there’s a huge printer/fax machine that staff is fiddling away and using.Besides that when I called back to say I couldn’t make it in there on a certain day so rather than delaying my filing my insurance claim could they please consider faxing the paperwork for me I didn’t even get a call back or response. Thanks for disregarding me completely.Pushing a few buttons on your end would have saved me a hassle of a morning. Customer service fail.

Jennifer Ryan was incredibly kind and patient, did not rush me and answered all of my questions. Her nurse was wonderful too, and was empathetic and kind. I was nervous about being a new patient here after seeing some bad google reviews, but I went with an open mind and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jennifer Ryan!

This place only gets two stars because the doctors are generally very nice and knowledgeable. The front desk ladies are extremely rude and snippy and makes for a very unpleasant environment. Additionally, they’re very unaccomodating with scheduling appointments and the hours here suck. They always forget to actually fill scripts and return calls, overall would not recommend.

Previously I have had good experiences there. However, i tried to refill the last prescription that I had and they denied it, Im assuming because I hadnt made an appointment with them even though I usually wait until my last refil is almost done to go. I had emailed them a few days ago to request an appointment and they havent gotten back to me. I am seriously considering going to a different health center since they cannot wait to get my money and will deny a refill when you have one left just because you havent came in yet. (Money hungry company)

I did not have a good experience at this practice. One of the doctors shared some bad news abt my baby over the phone on a July 4th weekend and i couldnt reach him till he was back in office until a week later. How inconsiderate, I was so stressed and anxious during the whole time. Most of the doctors have no compassion. You are another number to them. I saw them through out my first pregnancy. The reason I stick with them is because my work was closer; they are affiliated with Danbury hospital and I didnt know any better. They are experts and know what they are doing but not very people friendly. The doctors and office staff seem tired and not interested in what they are doing. My pregnancy was a special time in my life which none of them seem to care abt. Even the front desk staff dont recognize your face after many many visits which is strange.

I would give one star if possible. First, I had to wait 45 minutes to even be seen after my apt was scheduled. After my apt, I was to go to the front desk and make my second apt. Ad there was a long wait, I decided to call instead... well, because I didnt go after my apt. I received 2 voice mails within the same day both stating: We show no record that you went to the front desk after you apt to make a new apt. Its important for the babys health to make another apt if you didnt know. Or maybe we should switch you to a new practice if you dont want to be seen here So, assuming I dont care for my babys health all bc I didnt want to wait another 45 minutes to be seen. And to threat to no longer want to see me for rather wanting to call to make an apt instead of waiting at the front desk. This place is full of incompetent and judgmental people. Then, when I call to get me records. I get hung up on bc I told them how horrible their practice is. I call back and get put on hold for almost 20 minutes then told I cant get my records. Such a joke of a practice. No wonder why they have such horrible reviews and a bad rep.UPDATE: Dr. Goldstein and Dr May have turned my magical birthing experience into a nightmare. Many of my patients rights were violated. The stay at Danbury hospital was ruined bc of these two incompetent judgmental doctors. It has taken months to hear back from the department that received my survey. In the mean time of waiting to hear from them I have been trying to contact the media, dept of public health, the practitioners investigations unit, news papers, the Director or CEO of the hospital etc. as the community needs to be aware of how these doctors treat and view their patients that attend a clinic.The doctors at this facility do not communicate among another. This is known for a fact as if they did, Dr Golstein and Dr May would know I attended the clinic as my pain management Julie Wiaght cut my medication in half each week causing me to go through withdrawals, as well causing my unborn child sever distress, thus leading to a possible miscarriage. The first Dr I seen Freylikhman informed me I had to inform Waight to wean me off within the first trimester.. Dr Ryan then told me I cannot be weaned off that fast as it is very dangerous. Due to all of this, my primary Dr informed me the only option I had was risk a miscarriage or attend the clinic. Now due to this they labeled me as an ex addict. That then leaded to #19 of my patients rights being violated. Dr Goldstein stated many times he knew the pain medication would not work as my tolerance is higher than an average womans and left it at that. Keep in mind I had a C section.They did absolutely nothing about my pain being treated leading me to be in sever pain and literally crying all day and night.I felt the incision on my abdomen the entire time I was there. I was not able to see my newborn baby in NICU as i could not walk due to the pain and the nurses kept stating they would not wheel me to see my child as I have to walk, but I physically couldnt due to the pain. This still effects me to this day as I even cry typing this. These Drs have stolen my precious moments of my child birth from me. I wish no one ever has to go through what I have been through due to these two very disgusting humans at this facility.

If i could give zero stars i would .... i first started coming here last year and the male doctor i had was extremely rough when putting the clamp in... it was not a good experience. Last week i noticed a huge lump in my left breast and it was extremely painful... i couldnt get in with my original doc.. which was Jen west. I ended up having dr barry. she told me that it was just a cyst and nothing to worry about and then told me to make an appointment for an ultrasound which they couldnt get me in for two weeks . i have been in the worst pain i have ever felt ... and i tried calling her and telling her this isnt normal . she was very rude on the phone and acted like she didnt care and kept telling me im fine . Soon enough , my entire breast was hard and red to the touch along with a low grade fever . I just went to a new doctors office and she told me that i have a severe infection and that it is indeed not a cyst , but a very infected abscess that shouldve been taken care of sooner . i cannot express how bad my breast looks right now , and i am going to a surgeon today and need it out ASAP. I am furious !! dont go here !!

Dr. Ryan and is an absolute pleasure. Sweet and very knowledgeable. The interior is very dated and I had an unpleasant experience with their nurse practitioner. But, Dr. Ryan has exceeded all of my expectations and is one of my favorite doctors. Cant recommend her enough. Wish she could be my doctor for everything

I’ve been going here for years and never had a problem, except for the front desk staff not having the greatest attitudes but whatever, people have bad days right? The doctors are fantastic- I would have gave 5 stars but after my recent visit I’m not pleased with the receptionist/front desk staff (again). I’m not one to be nosey but a lady came in with her baby, and a lady at the front desk immediately told her she couldn’t have her baby and needed to reschedule her appointment (I overheard her say it was an emergency visit too). There’s no signs or anything that says you can’t bring a child. I’m not sure if it’s because of covid but if it is I think that’s still absolutely ridiculous. What a played out excuse. A child? Seriously? Is she supposed to leave the baby in the car? The poor woman looked like she was about to cry. Lady at the front desk was rude about it too. This really bothered me, and its unacceptable. I read other reviews with people having the same problem. What a shame.

Dr. May is by far the most knowledgeable, friendly, brilliant Ob-Gyn in the area. Ive been her patient for over 30 years. She delivered my daughter and helped me through menopause. She’s compassionate, caring and sweet. I would not even think of seeing anyone else.

I agree with the other comments! The receptionist in the waiting room is miserable! When she gave me a new form to fill out I noticed they had my old work number on the form, I crossed it out completely and gave them my new cell phone # instead thinking for privacy reasons they can call me directly and not through my place of employment. I had some tests done there and days went by and I never heard from them. Finally I get a call on my cell from the dr and he said him and his staff have been trying to call me for days and kept on calling my old job and they kept on telling the candlewood staff I didn’t work there anymore. The dr was very rude on the phone telling me I should’ve gave his receptionist another number which I did! DUH you’re calling me on my cell!!! It was her fault she didn’t enter the new # in and take the old # out. I went there a few more times after that the same lady sitting there like a bump on a log never smiles at anyone or makes small talk or friendly conversation. I found a better dr now with a much friendlier staff that takes my insurance.

Dr. Goldstein and the office staff here are excellent. Everyone was friendly and efficient, and the doctor took the time to speak with me about an issue I was having even though this was just my routine annual exam. I will continue coming here for my gynecology appointments.

Had a 10:30 a.m. appointment. By the time 11:45 a.m. rolled around and I hadnt seen the doctor, I packed up and left. I missed my 11:20 .m. mammo appointment in the same building, while waiting for the doctor, who I never saw. If it takes several hours for a provider to deliver two, 20-minute procedures, something is wrong. Cattle herding at its finest. I am rescheduling because I understand everyone can get caught up but so far, Im not impressed.

I love love this place . I travel from New York to go to this office . All the doctors are amazing especially Dr.Kelly she is my favorite. The staff is so helpful and professional. Every time I Have called the doctor with questions and concerns they return the phone calls right away . The place is clean . I usually never have to wait to be seeing. I would recommend this place to everyone .

Everyone is nice, and I love the doctor I see. However, I think it’s silly we can’t still bring our partners to ultrasound appointments. This is our first child and it’s sad that he can’t be there. He is 100% vaccinated and like I said, it’s just silly and disappointing.

I dont love this practice. The doctor I saw for ages (I went to only because my mother goes to him) recently made a distasteful comment during an exam. I wont elaborate, but it wasnt funny. I planned to switch practices but ultimately stayed, switching to another doctor there-- shes new. Im not convinced shes the best, but I like her better than the other man I saw. Only thing is, Im pregnant & the OBs there do rotation- which means I may encounter this guy during a most intimate & life-changing moment. Not too happy about that but I am so far along that it seems lame to switch at this point.

I am so disappointed at how rude their receptionists are I just got out of the ER and was referred by a doctor there to see them within the day. I called right at 8am as instructed I received a call back at 11 to let me know that they couldn’t see me and I would have to go somewhere else. Which I’m glad hence I wouldn’t feel comfortable being around such cruelty whilst seeking help. Absolutely pathetic and I’m so glad I won’t be using them.

Our fifteen-year experience with everyone here has been warm and winning. The excellence from front desk (esp. Sandy) to physicians to PAs (esp. Jennifer) and even the clinics decor is always present. We are mystified by the complaints noted here as we have never seen any of these problems.

Horrible practice! Docs are nice but nearly anyone else you deal with at this place are rude and miserable. From check in to check out to scheduling....such a nightmare. The staff makes you feel like an inconvenience for being there and will literally yell at you if you don’t read their minds that they’re ready for you at the desk. They also do a horrible job with privacy, shouting to the waiting room what you’re there for.

Dr. May is an exceptional, experienced, gynecologist who conducts her practice in an efficient, welcoming, & knowledgeable manner. She is thorough and is a good listener, who responds to each question and concern with specific, helpful information delivered in a kind & compassionate way.

Horrible wait times. I usually reserve judgement in a place like this, because sometimes people get bad news and need additional time. Ive been seen many times here, with a wait time for over 30 minutes EVERY visit. Thats just to see the nurse. I usually see the dr an hour after my appointment time. Again, in this business delays are sometimes needed. It is all too consistent here.

The Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants and the entire staff are extremely professional and compassionate. Working in the medical field during this pandemic really shows the dedication of the staff in this office! Jean M

Someone needs to do something about the receptionists the amount of arrogance and eye rolling that we get from them it’s unacceptable. I know they’ve been around for years but that does not give them the right to start treating patients like that.Nurses needs to get it together as well. Takes them forever to return our calls.

Good place easy to schedule an appointment Dr shakartzi very professional and helpful, the Ultrasound tech Jamie was friendly and professional also. I recommend this place.

Extremely rude ladies at the front desk and their nurse manager won’t talk to you if you have a complaint… I have been coming to this practice for 12 years and love all of the doctors but front desk needs much training to care about their patients and to learn how to talk . I feel bad leaving my doctors but I refuse to go to a place where they don’t care about their patients needs. Save yourselves from this place

Ive been going here for 25 yrs. Ive had 3 children through them. They are wonderful. Never any problems. The doctors are caring and make you comfortable. So much so that I now bring my 16 yr old daughter.

Terrible experience. Rearranged my life to take their available appointment, only to show up and be forced to reschedule. No one cares, no one is nice, so never again will I even try. Go someplace else!!

I really love Dr.Tissot she is so sweet and nice and she always respond to my questions. I totally recommend Dr.Tissot she is incomparable!

This place is the worst. Would never recommend this office to anyone. Like most of the other reviews mentioned, the doctors are nice but that’s the only good thing. The customer service is awful and the nurses never returns phone calls even after leaving multiple messages.

USELESS PRACTICE. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. They misdiagnosed me and treated me with acid for 6 whole months before taking me to surgery and taking a biopsy to confirm misdiagnosed me. Dont go here. They dont listen to any patients concerns.

Extremely rude Ladies at front desk, I toke my wife in along with my 2 year old son, they never told me at the appointment I cant be there with her or bring a baby in, there still no signs saying that, when I got there this rude lady sais, you cant bring a baby here, I said I didnt know, and she kept you cant be here as well, I said that I was there to help my wife because she didnt speak English, and she goes, are you Spanish? Said nope, Im brazilian and she shoke her shoulder like: there is nothing I can do about it. So now I went down stairs and my wife called me saying that the doctor said I can go in with the baby, here I go again, take him out of the car, put on a stroller again in a cold temperaturego up stairs, and another rude lady, you cant bring the baby here, I said, doctor told my wife yes I can come in with the baby, she went, had a discussion with the doctor and came back to me, you cant be here with the baby, I told her, you should put big signs and tell everyone in the phone appointment about this things, she said that they should have told me, I said they didnt, anyway, very disappointed with this place.

Very positive experience.Clerical staft very good in doing their job with insurance. Dr. Goldstein a wonderful doctor in answering my questions.I would highly recommend Candlewood Center for Women for your health care needs.

This place is disorganized, impossible to call, personnel are too lazy to call patients with results and make you wait long periods for a rushed, no information appointment. If they were not the only ones in my town I would have left right away. Expect to educate yourself on everything you need to know and to get no support from this group.

Poor service, every time i take my daughter to see the Dr. and they have to send a prescription to CVS they don’t submit it, and I have to call them serval times to ask them to Sumit the prescription to CVS so I can pick it up. Very frustrating. I’m looking for another place to go.

Just dont bother. Ive had problems all around. The doctors are cruel and judgmental. The staff wont transfer you if youve reached the wrong department by mistake and if you do reach the correct department they hang up on you.And all the info on their website is incorrect so youll have to call to confirm......good luck with that.

A women’s center so clean, positive, and happy to go to. They make the process of OBGYN a good experience. I highly recommend them to all my family and girlfriends!

To the doctors you’re nothing but a patient number and dollar signs. One woman working at the counter always seems miserable. For such a position where you need to constantly engage with women, Hire a ‘people person’ instead of a the lady version of Scrooge.

IM 27 WEEKS PREGNANT AND NOW COMPLETELY WITHOUT PRENATAL CARE! ENJOY THIS REVIEW CANDLEWOOD. ALSO FILED COMPLAINT WITH CT DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.

To be honest I still go to this place only because they offer late hours and Saturdays but I had very unpleasant experience when nobody warned me that I can’t walk in with my 1 yo,so I just traveled on a snowy day to kiss the door while it was their mistake!Some tests can be done only in their lab which don’t open on Saturday so it’s impossible for a mother to make it!Their policy is pretty much “your child is your problem” which is insulting to be honest that means I have to hire a stranger and expose my child...it’s a baby!she’s in the stroller,not like she’s running around...so what if mother doesn’t have a choice???
