AFC Urgent Care Denver Park Hill

This urgent care is very good! Before I came to them, I called 15 places to see who was going to be able to help me get my wife’s immigration medical exam and they ensure me that they could get it done within a week since they have a lot or doctors certified to do this and I was not disappointed… they are better than great!!! they also have a coffee machine for patients

Angela, Dr. Joseph, and the team there at this Urgent care were very kind and helpful.The lady at the front desk answered all my questions and concerns with care, patience, and kindness. Im sure they deal with a lot, being in the medical field but even so I felt safe and I felt that they truly wanted to help me. No matter how big or small my need was. I was scared and nervous to go in in the first place, but once I was greeted and welcomed in, and then taken to the back to be seen by the doctor, the more I felt safe. Thank you to the team @ afc urgent care here, your genuine kindness and care to help me made a big a difference. I greatly appreciate you all. Thank you for serving 🙏

Katrice and the doctor were engaging, empathetic, and had great bedside manner! They helped distract me from any pain but also answered all my questions very straightforwardly and in a way that was easy to understand! There was a small rush when we arrived, I didnt mind but they were very apologetic and appreciative of our time! I left bandaged up and feeling better physically and mentally!

Very helpful, patient staff. They do a great job telling you whats happening at each step- took a very gnarly procedure and made it as comfortable as possible. If you gotta get a viciously inflamed cyst drained, this is the place!

Doctor was knowledgeable and thorough. He understood my history and considered underlying issues in determining a treatment. Front desk is friendly and helpful. I will use this Urgent Care from now on.

I had a totally positive experience at AFC, and everybody knows urgent care can be a hassle. Cassie and Hollie were amazing and made me feel as comfortable as possible in extremely uncomfortable circumstances. Thankful these people do what they do and are good at it! Would definitely recommend to anybody seeking urgent care.

I went to urgent care because of a traumatic experience I had recently. Everyone here was very compassionate and professional. Even though the front desk warned me I would have to wait, I got seen after only a couple minutes. It made a huge difference to me! Thank you. You guys are wonderful

My provider and the front desk person were especially great. The front desk person was very welcoming, kind, helpful, and efficient.The doctor was thorough, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions with patience and his answers were well articulated and easy to understand.

Best urgent care experience we’ve had! My son sprained his ankle and we came in to get X-rays and make sure it wasn’t broken. Katrice atthe front desk was super nice and helpful both in the phone and when we got there. We waited maybe 5 minutes before seen, which might be a record for urgent care. The nurse, X-ray technician and doctor all were great. Well definitely keep AFC in mind if we need urgent care again.

I visited the AFC Urgent Care Denver Park Hill April,30 2024. The staff was excellent extremely polite and attentive. The lobby was clean and peaceful and everything was Comforting. Luisa was my MA and she was outstanding. Very Friendly and courteous she was a calming presence and made the visit worry free. I had a infection in my middle finger by the finger nail and they were able to pop the blister and drain the puss in less than 1hr total time. Dr. Ryan Mazin took care of the wound and it was a easy process. Highly Recommend this Location.

Edgar and staff were very friendly and attentive. It was pleasant experience, given what I went in for. Had to get X-rays on my ankle. Edgar was very gentle given the fact of how much pain I was in. The doctors were exceptional with results and communication. Would definitely recommend this location.

Brad (PA) was wonderful with my 8year old. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return for any urgent care needs.

I was seen quickly at this location! Katrice at the front was very kind and helped get me checked in with no problems. Barry the medical assistant was quick and efficient! He listened to my concerns and relayed them correctly. I got in and got out within 45 minutes. Very happy I got to what I needed along with a friendly staff to help me.

I always choose this urgent care as the staff is always caring and professional. Katrice at the front desk is always pleasant. Her tone and manner make why youre there a little better. If you dont supply lunch for this location, let me know and I will!

I came into the facility having had a bad mountain biking wreck seeking medical attention and feeling pretty traumatized. Derek was the attending PA and Cassie his nurse, both were exceptional. I needed sutures for the wound and their bedside was great. I can’t recommend these two enough and their care.

Dr. Ahmed and his assistant Cassie were amazing. They made me feel so comfortable. I had so many questions and they were so patient with me! One of the best doctor experiences I’ve had in along time and I really appreciate it!

Visited AFC Urgent Care Denver Park Hill yesterday after a large laceration on my calf. They stitched me up and had me out the door in an hour. Care was top notch. physicians were all pleasant and helpful

We have been to this AFC several times over the years, and they are always a great urgent care experience. Everyone we have seen is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are timely as well. Most recently we saw Cassie and Dr Ahmed and they were wonderful!

Katrice, Derek and his assistant took such good care of me. I’m so thankful for their quickness and friendly manner. I came in not doing good and they had me out in an hour feeling ten times better. I truly appreciate y’all so much ❤️

Quick and efficient front desk. Prompt and professional care staff from Luisa to doctor Mazin. Presented diagnostic and follow up information very well. Answered questions well. Very much appreciated how quickly prescriptions got sent to the pharmacy.

This is hands down the best urgent care in Denver. I’ve had to go a few times over the years and every time it has been clean and the staff was friendly. Edgar today was super kind and helpful and I was able to get in and out within 30 minutes. Hopefully I don’t need to go to an urgent care again, but if I do I’ll be back here!

I, unfortunately, needed to go to the urgent care for a somewhat serious matter and I cannot say enough great things about everyone there. They truly care about their patients and it is obvious from the moment you walk in the door. When I first arrived, Katrice at the front desk could tell I wasn’t well and was wonderful about helping me and getting me back to see the Dr. quickly. My medical assistant (Luisa?) was great as well. She made me feel very comfortable and was a true professional. So many times during my visit they could have just done the status quo, but they went above and beyond for me and I cannot be more grateful. Thank you!EK

The clinic is very courteous, professional and organized from the front desk (Katrice), my MA to the physician. Felt like they cared and listened to me without rushing through the appointment. Great care!

This location always takes such good care of me no matter what my needs are each visit. I have been to this Urgent Care facility a few times and I have always been glad I went. I couldn’t hear out of both ears and they solved my problem quickly. They are always kind and friendly. I will come back happily, should the need arise.

After a check-in process that involved receptionist saying hi and pointing me to an impersonal check-in tablet to do all the work and then technology to put me in my seat to wait to bee called. 1 star at this point. Then I was brought back from there waiting room by Jasmine. She was able to add humility brevity and compassion while being an exceptionally open-minded listener. The PA I saw was good as well however Jasmine was the one that would have me come back to AFC again. After the check-in process and how impersonal it was I probably wouldnt have come back if it wasnt for her.

The receptionist was very nice to me . My PA Derek was fantastic. Definitely my go-to urgent Care center from now on

I cant say enough very good, and very great things about this place. There was a time in my life where I lived in Northern Colorado, and very long story short the health care up there was not so great.After doing some research, I found this AFC Urgent Care location. I decided to try this location and I can truly say that from the beginning to the end, I felt like the staff at this location went above, and beyond to help me on multiple occasions during a true time of need.

I recently received a fairly deep cut that I figured needed stitches. Went in and everyone in there was very nice and helpful. Did a wonderful job on my hand even had good music playing so that made everything so much nicer.

Katrice at the front desk was super sweet. The process was very easy and I was made to feel very comfortable with the whole process. Thank you!

Jasmine our PCT was wonderful yesterday with my sick son. The dr was quick and efficient. Hopefully we don’t need to go back BUT if we do. I’m thankful they’re so close and we have the access to their providers.Wait time in/out was about one hour which was great for a walk in.Second time - we had Jasmine again! She is absolutely lovely. I went for a work physical. $85 & 15 min of my time. Wonderful. So appreciative they offer this service.

The staff at AFC Urgent Care is very efficient and helpful. Corey and Jasmine were very friendly and made my visit a breeze! I felt comfortable asking questions and having my concerns acknowledged.

While visiting Denver I fell on the sidewalk fracturing my ankle. The AFC was reasonably close to my hotel so we drove over. Everyone at the clinic was so nice and they were able to attend to my injury in short oder. Thanks to all that helped.

I blew the dirt off my knee cap, screwed it back on and hobbled over there for an X-ray to make sure I didn’t put it on upside down or inside out. Not only did things go smoothly, they were even nice enough not to laugh because I biffed in an empty parking lot. I went there because they accepted my insurance plan, but I was really pleased and recommend this center.

Super fast X-ray, got out in about 1 hour. Jasmine and Edgar were super nice and knowledgeable. I was able to leave without any unanswered questions.

Nothing makes someone get their life back than a physician who listens. Your physician was great and wonderful to his work and I was very pleased to see him with my son. He did not hesitate to do the right test to find our misery. The MA , the front desk lady and some other people who came to my aid showed great concern. You guys are awesome 👌04/22/23The provider was wonderful, she listened and tried to look at every aspect of my body to find what was wrong or will be causing the pain I was having. That was magical.

I called this morning looking to be seen for COVID. Katrice helped me schedule a phone appointment for right then with Dr. Ahmed and walked me through all the necessary steps. I was able to have the appointment, receive a prescription for Paxlovid, and pick up my prescription all within about an hour and a half. Thank you Katrice!

This place is top notch!! The level of care and urgency displayed at Urgent Care Denver Park was incredibly refreshing. Despite it being almost closing time, the staff promptly tended to my eye issue with a high level of efficiency and professionalism. They took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and treatment plan, and tried to get my script filled before the pharmacy closed which felt so considerate and helpful. The care and attention I received here was exceptional, and I would confidently recommend this place to anyone in need of urgent medical attention.

Awesome experience. The doctor actually sat down and took time to talk to me unlike most who would say you have x,y,z, heres your prescription, or its just a virus . I was very impressed!

If you’re going in for anything that has to do with needles make sure Cassie doesn’t take care of you! The whole 2hrs I was there she couldn’t stop shaking or poking me. she couldn’t get a vein I’ve never had a MA/DR have problems finding a veins. I went to the Central Park UC & they got me help but Cassie messed up & I have so much pain avoid when she’s in ! She was extremely shaky the whole time she was working with me, I have never bruised these bruises are forming right after I told her no more poking me

This is my go-to urgent care facility!! It’s easy to make an appointment online, there’s almost never a wait when it’s your appointment time, and the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!! I am so grateful to all the staff here! Our real life super heroes. Thank you for always providing exceptional care!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces and folks all willing to help me out. When finding out that I was self pay, they were able to find ways to keep my cost down without compromising the level of help I needed. Every person in there was kind and welcoming and I will be going back should I ever need help again.

Made an appointment to have my daughter looked at for an ear infection and it took them almost an hour to see us and all the people who walked in seemed to go before us. If I knew just walking in would have been faster I wouldn’t have made an appointment. The appointment took so long I missed out on feeding my daughter in the NICU. Probably won’t ever come back to urgent care. Staff was nice but the long wait for a simple ear infection and having all the walk ins go before us was enough for me to almost walk out and go to different one. Not a place I would recommend on that alone.

All the AFC staff were exceptionally polite and dedicated to listen to my medical problem and provide the skin care prescription I required. Katrice at the front desk processed needed paperwork for telehealth and set me up to speak with professionals who asked me questions so they could provide prescription to pharmacy who prepared medicine within hours. Everyone at the UC facility was kind and treated me like a person. Although I was in and out there wasnt any rush. Doctor and everyone on his team was nice and knowledgeable. If Im not feeling well again, I will visit this UC again. Thank you everyone there at the facility.

We went today so they could see my 72 year old dad. He has a severe knee pain and its hard for him to walk, well the lady on the front desk, James S, the patient care coordinator, did not understand the type of coverage that my dad has, and she refused to let a doctor see us, she only said we do not work with that type of insurance. She didnt even try to run the insurance policy, im pretty sure that saying NO is always easier then trying to actually do her job. He has a global insurance with base here in America, I spoked with GMMI and they verified that the clinic did accept that insurance. On the paper that the company sent them it had policy number, billing address and phone number. She seemed very racist because my dad is from spain and is not American citizen. If you work on costumer service they need to have good manners and learn how to treat every single human the same. And if the person does not understand about that coverage from the insurance, they need to ask and find out more about it, not just say NO. When she was looking at the paperwork she seemed lost and not able to understand because she had never seen that paperwork in her life. I do not recommend that clinic at all. The first person that helps you in a clinic , or anywhere that deals with costumer service should be friendly, helpful and resourceful, no negative, racist with no willing to help. We came to another urgent care, they said that we only needed the policy # in any clinic but probably on the AFC Urgent Care located in Colorado Blvd, did not wanted to help us. On this urgent care they runned the insurance policy and were able to help him. I will contact the corporation because this was unacceptable!!

I had to go to this urgent care twice in 2 weeks since my PCP is not responsive and booked out very far. Luisa, Jasmine, Nurse Gladson & Dr Savage were informative, comprehensive and friendly. The front desk staff is very nice too. Would recommend this specific location

This is my favorite Urgent Care facility. I only need it once a year for the flu or bronchitis, but when I do need it its nice to know it is clean and comfortable and staffed with wonderful people.

Wait time was 30 minutes to be seen and i went at 5:30 PM. Excellent care by the front desk and the nurse and doctors!

The service of the Park Hill Urgent care is top notch. Teresa was especially nice and made me feel at ease while getting checked.

Bianca and the Dr. were great. I was treated reasonably quickly and very effectively. They provided immediate relief for a long standing sinus infection and gave me medications that treated the underlying problem effectively.

Received great care at AFC Urgent Care Park Hill today. Made an appointment in advance and was seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled time. Both Cassie and Devon were attentive and friendly, when providing my care. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing urgent care services in the area!

I came in last night terrified because Im currently uninsured. I had severe strep symptoms, and needed help fast. Went in after work, they were lovely from the start. The woman up front was super reassuring and helped with my anxiety of costs. Then when I went back, everyone was so gentle and kind. It was clean, fast, and super responsive. I felt safe. This will be my go to from now on!

Shout out to the lady who checked me in. I regret not having your name but I appreciate everyone there. Cassie the MA was very warm and friendly start to finish. Creating an environment of safe and feeling as though all will be well. And Dr. Savage was incredibly nice and very informative and I could feel his concern highlighting his career as a healer. I recommend going here if you should need care. It was a health woe that brought me there and somehow they managed to not just treat me and help but gracefully had me feeling blessed to be there. The medical assistant (MA), Megan was great! I also liked the PA, Sarah. They were both friendly and professional. I did have a little bit of a wait but sense it was the day before Thanksgiving I thought I would have had a really long wait. But the little bit of time I needed to wait was WELL worth it! Plus, once I got into a private room, essentially there was no wait. Thanks for helping me feel better just in time for Thanksgiving!

The medical staff including Jasmine (Medical Assistant) and Charlotte (Provider) are world-class medical professionals that will take care of you.Tracey (I know you’ll be reading this) I was not upset that I was misinformed or that Urgent Care could not provide authorization. That’s standard practice. I was bother by how I was spoken to today when following up. You should be extremely thankful you have a wonderfully dedicated medical staff that care about patients. It seems like the receptionist today has little patience which could potentially hinder future business. I already feel sick, I don’t need to be spoken to as if I don’t understand protocol to make me feel stupid.

It was my first visit here and I received awesome service from the time I walked in the door. My MA Barry was awesome. Dr. Johnny Shen was very professional and addressed all my needs including a referral to an orthopedic as I am in need of one and am from out of town. Usually going to the urgent care is like going to the DMV but everyone here was so responsive and compassionate. The wait was short, my MA (Brittany - also a Denver local) was so friendly and put me at ease and the doctor (Wes) was so gentle with my neck and gave reasonable suggestions. I’m grateful to have this place in my neighborhood!

This is my second time visiting and this time I brought my two kids for a strep test. ALL the staff are so patient, efficient and kind. It was super busy but it was clear they were all doing the best they could and everyone was receiving the care and the time they needed. Im very grateful for this place. Thank you.

As usual intake & prep work for doc’s visit were caring, swift and insightful. Jamie &Alejandra took care of me on short notice to make sure the doc & I had a productive session w/o a long wait. Waiting room cleanliness, spacing & soothing video content are also a plus. Who doesn’t love baby animals?

The best urgent care! I have been here for kidney stones, back injury, now mold exposure. Everyone here, receptionists, nurses, doctors are so kind and compassionate. I have felt truly cared for each time Ive visited by the entire staff. I wish I had gotten the receptionists name because she was so sweet, but I can mention MA Cassie and Dr. Ahmed by name and say I felt heard and in the best of care. Health issues can be hard to deal with, but youve got people that care for you if you come to AFC Urgent Care Park Hill! Also, shout out to the tech that smiled and wished me well on my way out. Very convenient care. After I got checked-in, it was hardly fifteen minutes before Alejandra was able to bring me into an exam room and had my injury cleaned up. I saw the PA shortly thereafter and was on my way home for a total visit of barely 1.5 hours!Care was great, with lots of clear explanation. Thanks AFC!

Both my son and I have gone here several times over the past few years and we always have a great experience! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and very accessible if you have questions/concerns after your visit. Today we went in for a strep test for my 6 year old and Landen the MA was great with him. Getting a throat swab sucks but Landon did a good job at calming my son’s fears and getting the culture done quick and and painlessly as possible! Dr. Sarah was warm, informative and reassuring. The front desk staff were friendly and super helpful even with a slight glitch in my appointment. Highly recommend!

Fastest dr visit ever to help my little girl with a double ear infection! This place is great with kiddos. We saw Cera and Dana and they had us out with a prescription super fast. Really appreciated the front desk support for getting our paperwork in- literally at lightening speed! Also previously had an excellent experience here on Halloween night getting a 4 year old stitches- nicest group ever.

I had a TB test done for immigration purposes and I had a deadline to upload the results. They told me it was going to take 3-5 days but it’s been a week and they haven’t sent my results back. Wouldn’t recommend this place for testing if you need the results quickly. Also, the customer service is awful. Every time I called they were desperate to hang up the phone without giving me a solution to the results delay.

With online checkin I was in and out of there quickly. Everyone was kind and professional.

Really impressed with the follow up from AFC.I had an unfortunate experience initially with poor communication from the lab. I initially was frustrated but I heard back immediately from the clinic and they have gone out of their way to make it right. It turns out it most likely was a lab error. Tracy, has called me twice and also had me come back in for a courtesy follow up with no cost.As a provider myself- I understand how difficult it is for a clinic to answer to patient care issues that are out of their control.Kudos to AFC for making it right!I will definitely be back if needed!Warm regards!Michelle Kenrick

Wonderful urgent care (no, that is not a typo or an oxymoron!). Sarah, the PA was kind and caring and answered all of our questions. She was apologetic for the wait, but really we should be apologizing to her for having to work after hours on a Friday in a busy clinic!

They did an amazing job. Alejandra did everything correctly when she came into the room. Everyone was very friendly. I always head here when I am sick since not as crowded as the everyday doctors office. Also my doctors office is hard to get a same day appointment. Again they did an amazing job.
