AMA Medical Group

Ive been a patient with AMA Medical Group for only several months but so far I have been incredibly impressed with these health care providers. From the front desk staff to the nurses to my doctor, I couldnt be more pleased with the care I have received. The whole operation just seems to do things right and its obvious they care about my health. I highly recommend them.

My experience with Dr. Valez was an absolute nightmare! Her medical knowledge is very incompetent, I know cause I’m a nurse. I had two major hip surgeries within two months I would call there crying in pain and she did absolutely nothing!!!Than I had blood work done and my platelet count was super high she again did absolutely nothing except tell her MA to tell me to take an aspirin (which I did not) I called and demanded to be referred to a hematologist and I asked this doctor if I should be taking an aspirin and she said absolutely not, I ended up needing an IV infusion cause I was anemic.Needless to say she is no longer my doctor. In my opinion she should not be practicing medicine!!!

Dr Dones is a very caring and wonderful doctor. The staff is very helpful and nice. I’ve had a great experience here for my primary care needs. I would recommend this practice to anyone, they even have Spanish speaking doctors here! I’m bilingual so it’s helpful! Thank you!

I love Dr. Fana and everyone here. They are very caring, greaters make you feel welcome, the nurses are very attentive. Ive been coming here for 3 years now and believe me this is the best practice ive gone to. Its so clean here too!

Me and my husband come here. We’ve been coming for years, we love Dr. Fana and Dr. Dones! They are wonderful! If we ever have a problem, they are just a phone call away and can always fit us for an appointment.

9 years here and still happy with my choice! Strong in preventative care, in office labs done by Dale who couldn’t be more perfect! Staff is friendly, organized, and thorough!

The doctors and staff are all very nice and friendly. Im seen quickly when I call with a medical problem. If you need a Humana Doctor this is the place for you.

I was looking for a new PCP when I met Dr. Martin Dones. He enthusiastically welcomed me to his practice and demonstrated a real interest in my health. He did a thorough review of my medical history and asked plenty of questions!Little to no waiting for an appointment and very efficient support staff.

I had doctor millet for about a year until i moved. This office runs smoothly and they are excellent at squeezing you in if theres an urgent matter. Theres always a doctor to call in case of any questions about if you should go to the ER or not.Dr millet was always happy to run required tests for me and never gave me any trouble filling prescriptions. Shes very responsive and seems like she really cares about her job. I will miss this office. She even caught a b12 deficiency that my last doctor didnt. I highly recommend this place and i will miss it.

ALWAYS listen to you, follow up on any further testing if needed, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, no long waiting, usually can see you the same day. And best of all God is the focus of their healing!!!! Thats what sets them apart from all the others.

Alas, time for a reality check. These reviews played a huge role in my choice of provider. Having spent 30 years dealing with the medical community experiencing the best and the absolute worst care. Of course you can vet your new Doctor on the Web, but you cant do that with staff. I am expected when asked a question to reply honestly, dont count on that courtesy here. Folks have brought up the convenient Lab on site and there in is the problem. There is but 1 nurse in that lab and if you have an issue with this individual dont count on the staff taking you seriously (yes, the office manager included). Its sad because my Doctor was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Time to move on, for me it is a matter of trust. Good luck everyone!

Best Primary Care practice in Tampa Bay! Caring providers, clean facility and genuine staff.

I’m very impressed and so thankful I’m able to be a patient here and come to their events.

One of my reasons for moving back to Florida was to find a medical group that I could communicate with and who could take care of my medical needs for the rest of my life. I am so happy and more satisfied than I could have imagined with Dr. Dones and PA, Benjamin Love. Both take the time to listen to my questions and concerns. They clearly explain options and recommendations very thoroughly in terms that I understand and trust. I am relieved that they know the hospitals, should I ever be hospitalized. I recently sprained my foot on a Sunday night and left a message with the answering service. An x-ray was set up for the next morning as well as an appointment at AMA with Dr. Dones, first thing in the morning. The whole staff is really great and very easy to talk with. Its nice that they have their own lab in the building too. It is a gentle place.

Service has been good, happy here with the physicians. I really like them here. Have been coming for about a year, they are great with referrals and they treat me here with courtesy and respect. I feel they treat you here like family. They know me here. Friendly and are always happy to see and hear from me.

I was one of the first patients here at the practice. My mom comes here too. We love it here. The doctors are very caring and attentive, good bedside manner. Great service here always. Very thorough.

I feel very comfortable with the practice and Dr. Fana-Souchet, good follow up, happy with her as my Doctor. She is amazing, did incredible research on my condition to avoid surgery. Did a lot to help me to not effect any other things wrong with me. She saved my life. The practice is incredible.

I am very pleased with the practice and the Doctors, they pay attention to my needs here, I had a heart condition Dr. Fana worries about and constantly checks up on that. She is very caring. My mom comes with me and she is well taken care of. Happy with the services here.

The BEST! If you are considering a change or a new doctor this is the place! Care like the old days with the newest technology in a beautiful office. I love all of the staff. They treat me so well I can hardly believe it exist today. Im at home here! Doctors respond 24 hours a day if you have a problem not requiring an emergency room visit. They also do on site lab work so no trips to an outside lab. Wait times are so short you almost cant call them wait times. They got great coffee too but Im in and out so fast I forget.They are primarily a Humana insurance provider. This will even make your next choice for an insurance plan easy, choose Humana and go here. Im so happy I found them! Ill never go anywhere else. Thank God these kind of people still exist,, their far and few between today. Be HAPPY! with your primary doctor, go here and you will be, I PROMISE, you cant do better.PS. Im not usually this complementary, especially these days, but these guys deserve it, so I just got to give credit where credit is due.

Dr Fana is wonderful. The staff is fantastic, everyone is so friendly and make you feel welcome. My friend who came here and was ill for a year, once she came to Dr Fana and was diagnosed, she got better and now is able to live a better life.

This is the best doctors office I have been to in a long time. Everyone there is caring, professional and answers all your questions. And best of all they listen to you! My previous doctor would look at my lab results and say looks fine see you in 4 months. I have had some VERY STRESSFUL things going on in my life for the last year and my other doctor didnt refer my to a psychiatrist to help me deal with what was going on I referred myself because I have a Masters in social work and knew I was having problems with depression. My doctor at AMA realized I was suffering from dehydration and I have corrected that. I know I can call them anytime and they will be there for me. In fact I was told if my heart acted up to call 911 and then call them. I am so glad my next door neighbor recommended them to me. If you have Humana Insurance I know they take it so get over to an office that makes YOU there number one priority!

They listen to you more thoroughly than any of my past terrible experiences! They are helpful on the phone calls to get thing done as quickly as possible for you. It was my first visit which should typically be thorough anyways, but I was still impressed!

Efficient, courteous, all good things with this practice, very pleased, great communication. They are great with appointment setting and changes when needed. Have been coming here for several years and I am very pleased.

I actually moved further away, but kept Dr. Fana because the entire staff and especially Dr. Fana gives you the feeling of “”you are the only patient”. Takes time to thoroughly explain issues and concerns.

Ive never experienced a doctors office with such patience and kindness as Ive seen in this medical facility. I have taken family friends and myself to an awful lot of different medical facilities and this one is definitely a step above.

The staff are very nice and sweet. The doctors are great. I recommend this practice. Experience has been great.

Pinellas county schools designated the area in front of this building as a bus stop. The bus picks up 4 to 5 children at 8:15. These are elementary and 6th grade. The parents parked in their lot away from the prime up front spots for approx 15 minutes. The business sent out a man to take pictures of the cars and children and tell them they could not park there and threatening to call the police. In this day and age NO child should be left alone at a bus stop, but this business doesnt care. If they dont care about the welfare of children, I cant imagine they care much about their patients either.

Very on top of things, very organized. They are great with making sure I do not forget anything and send me reminders and phone calls. Very informational and cares about my health. They all know me here.
