After sharing my details about my pregnancy situation with the receptionist. The receptionist gave me information to further more my financial situation. Aiding me with those whom give funding for women who need help. I was so relieved and I am so greatful for these Women. There understanding for unfortunate events that can occur when your pregnancy is not perceived and the pregnancy is in danger.Thank you so much. We are truly blessed with these Women.

So I would like to start off by saying if you are a young woman please be vocal on what you are feeling. I am a 23 year old black woman I will describe my experience with honesty and clarity so you can also make the right choice. When I first did my lab I felt an energy off of a nurse with straight black hair that gave I could care less. I didn’t mind it because I knew everyone wouldn’t be as warm, but through out I encounter some friendly or supportive nurse that made me feel like I could relax and trust this process. When I was called back the same nurse that did my lab also administered my IV. I was in a bed at the time one nurse suggested that the bed be raised and I was comfortable, while the same nursed who pierced my gains tried to lower it back down, but I had a DULA come in who is suppose to be someone who is suppose to talk with you through the process or check in and out I later experienced that she’s wasn’t gonna be around much. After administrating my IV they told me that they would have to move into what I later found out was a after care location for the patients they were seeing they informed that I would be going first because I had already had my dilation medication and was starting my process I just needed to get the IV in my system. I was placed on a reclining chair that didn’t even go back so my stomach wouldn’t crunch, I started feeling cramps so I curled up into a fetal position to comfort myself. The same lady came in and told me to stop moving like I could help it I apologize and let the nurses know I wasn’t doing it on purpose. I fell asleep because of the pain, I went in the room around 7 going on 8 am. I woke up approximately 10 minutes later to see if anyone was around there was on nurse no patients around me. So I went back to sleep. I woke up another 10-15 mins so by this time I was sitting there dilating for 25 mins before I said myself let me wait another 5 mins so about 30 mins and that’s when I realized I had to say something, I was honestly ready to just leave because of the pain and no dula in sight no one in sight. When I spoke up that’s when I was brought to the back to finally get started I undressed and I realized that my child was already leaving me and I was angry, confused and amazed because they said I would experience bleeding after not during. I allowed them to continue to assist the child which I can say that’s why I gave the three stars the procedure ended up going pretty good because I didn’t feel any pain even now my pain is at 3-4 I can say thank you I appreciate it. My only feedback is do not do this again it’s my choices that landed me in your hands but I didn’t deserve that treat next women way better the bed could of been moved I didn’t need to be the only woman in a reclining chair dilating, and I should’ve been updated about my process being pushed back delayed whichever one. Please do better by these woman

HONEST REVIEW HERE ..Unprofessional I had a appointment set for 08/17 at 10 am which was fine for me but then my time got changed without asking if I’m available around that time instead they just pick the time for me without seeing if I will be available and I ask her why she said because I didn’t show up to one one of my phone call appointments which is understandable but people also have a life and be busy so that’s one unprofessional thing right there then two I paid $200 already which I thought was for the abortion but whole time it was for the ultrasound which meaning they would’ve charge me again on 08/17 without me knowing which is also unprofessional and poor communication .Please save your time and money unless you want to deal with unprofessional and a poor communication organization.

I visited FCHC today to get an IUD placed under sedation. After lots of research on which local providers offer this service, I was so relieved to find FCHC, who helped answer my questions about the procedure and get me scheduled so quickly and easily via email!My experience today was really mind blowing - all of the volunteers and providers at FCHC are lovely, from the clinic escorts, to the front desk folks, to the complimentary doulas that they provide to go into the OR with you and hold your hand while you go under sedation. The procedure was so quick, easy, and painless (much unlike my first IUD experience), and they let me stay in the recovery room (free snacks and drinks!) for longer while they monitored my blood pressure since I got a little bit queezy and dizzy after the procedure.All to say, if you’re looking for a place full of people who will take care of you, this is the place to go. And in today’s world I’m sure I speak for many of us who feel so lucky to know that a place like this exists.

After waiting a day to process everything I decided to write a review which I normally dont do.I was recommended by a friend that got services done here a few years ago. So I already knew that they could be trusted. The prices for all the services were discussed with me over the phone and were clear and honest when I made my appointment. I drove about 30mins to get there. I parked in the garage in the back and was able to find the room easily. I wasnt sure what to expect, at the time I felt that the receptionists were a little short with patients but thinking back the environment alone is a little uncomfortable emotionally just due to the reason for visit. They did have a very nice woman that walked through checking on everyone toward the end of my visit, I do feel like they need to have more support in that way. I was comfortable there but it was clear that a few were upset and sad, but didnt want to step outside. It was reassuring to see that woman comfort her and ask if she wanted to be in a more private setting. The staff that I had contact with were all nice and very informative about the service and answered any questions. The doctor that gave me my medications was very honest about my lab work,results and any questions I had for him directly and showed seriousness about follow up call. I felt like he very much cared. Medication worked as expected, uncomfortable but not more then doctor or information suggested.I will most likely be back for normal services and routine care.

All of the staff I encountered were very kind and helpful and I was surprised at how nice the facilities were on the inside. On a couple of occasions I have seen threatening protestors pacing in front of the building while driving by but I was lucky not to encounter them on either of my visits. It was nice to see that they try their best to accommodate Spanish speaking patients as well. Their pricing was very reasonable. All around I am very grateful to have them nearby.

I had an issue that I felt needed urgent attention. My primary gyno could not see me immediately to handle my situation. I called Falls Church Healthcare Center in the morning to make an appointment. I had to complete my insurance information online and call back the following day. A woman immediately helped schedule an appointment for me. There happened to be an available appointment that same day. She checked to make sure my procedure could be done with my insurance and quickly confirmed I was good to go. She was extremely friendly and took extra steps to help me get seen. Her name starts with an E or I [it has slipped my mind]. At the clinic, you must leave your phone in a locker as they are not allowed back in the rooms. This is for safety and privacy, which I greatly appreciate. My procedure was difficult, as was to be expected, and NP Jennifer and her team went above, beyond, and into outer space to make sure I got through it with the least amount of pain. I am very thankful to them. Everyone is kind. The facility is clean. I felt safe. Without doubt they actually care and are invested in their mission. Five stars. Period.

They should let you know when you go home with the medical abortion. That your baby will come out whole. Not just tissue but the actual baby...this choice is already hard to make and traumatizing...seeing that was the most traumatizing experience Ive ever had.

The receptionist was extremely helpful. She answered every question and concern I had & helped get me a fast appointment. The doctors were so caring & made me feel comfortable the whole process. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you!

Considering the circumstances, this place was incredibly supportive and caring. They were flexible with scheduling, answered all my questions and just generally made me feel at ease. During the procedure, staff came in and held my hand to get me through it. It was a small gesture but it made a world of difference. They are non judgemental and made a difficult process as easy as possible. The building is pretty shady looking from the outside but their actual clinic is pretty nice.

The center is decent. Got the service I needed and thats all I wanted.I read reviews for different centers before making a decision and they all had fairly the same amount of good and bad. I came to my decision for Falls Church based off availability and distance. My opinion, I feel because of the circumstance I dont think anyone will ever feel that anyone at any center is sympathetic kind gentle or compassionate enough. There were some things I wasnt a fan of and on the other hand I felt everything went fine, as expected, and it was over. I think some of the negative comments are written prematurely and emotionally driven. I say this because I read reviews and take reviews seriously but I also appreciate an honest review over someone just venting.Best of luck to anyone whose found themselves having to Google and read this review. I deleted my previous review but given the circumstances in the country I think its important to show appreciation for the people who stand for womens rights.Excellent service, maybe more discretion from part of the front desk, other than that, got the service without any problem.Dont be afraid, youre not alone.

I had the best experience with The nurses and doctor. Affordable woman clinics are hard to find when you don’t have insurance. I used to go to plan parenthood, then they closed down. I am praying this clinic survives all the circumstances. Otherwise I have no where to go for my regular check up.

I have been coming to this location for about 3 years. I get my annual check ups, never had an issue. For every visit the nurse Penny always gives a thorough explanation. When I first started coming here I was really annoyed by the protesters outside the building harassing about abortion, thankfully they have disappeared! FYI park in the back so you don’t have to deal with them.

I came for an annual wellness exam along with birth control counseling and the staff was very nice and welcoming. I knew I wanted a doctor who is pro-choice and open-minded in womens health and the staff at Falls Church Healthcare Center was able to provide compassionate care. Thank you for your work with the women in your community.

They are so compassionate. I went for some basic check ups and they took all my questions and concerns very seriously. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people and also half of the bad reviews are people that never actively went in they were protestors outside the building. They don’t just offer abortions stop being rude to every woman that walks out of the clinic. I had people basically chase my husband and I to the car telling us how bad we were and I’ll be hurt forever and all I did was go in for a check up and birth control

This place is the last place you would ever want to go to if your concerned about your health! There was a nurse that was walking up to the building wearing flip flops and smoking a cigarette and to my surprise she was one of the nurses at this facility! I Also noticed that she was very jittery and all the nurses were laughing at her as if it was funny to them, its almost seemed like she was on some type of drug, the nurse that was working on me tried to draw blood and couldnt and didnt even finish my blood work, and when I addressed my concerns to the director of the facility Penny Smith she actually seemed offended that I mentioned my concerns and was very defensive and had the nerve to actually say to me and I quote so did you want to continue with your visit or did you want your money back not a single apology from this woman, i was in complete disbelief at how she decided to handle the situation and at that moment I felt like I had made the worst decision in my life to have even chosen this place as my healthcare provider. I tried to ask her if there was some else I could speak to that could address my concerns and she responded with your not going to get any higher than me honey not the way you want to speak to a patient. So please DO NOT consider this place not even for a split second, my voice was not heard at this place but I hope that whoever reads this review does and double thinks before entering the facility for any reason. Health comes first and this place does not believe in it.

Everyone I interacted with at this facility was kind, patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. From setting the appointment to recovering from the procedure, I felt supported.Thank you Falls Church Healthcare Center :)

When I got my procedure done they assured me that my insurance would pay for it. I called my insurance and they said they would the problem is they use their own doctor and they are not supposed to! So even though they had a contact with my insurance company they don’t tell you that if they use their own doctor the insurance would not pay! If you use this facility please do your research because I feel like that they’re trying to run a scam by withholding information from the patient because they don’t follow their contracts with insurance companies

I had the worst experience going to this place.the staff are so rude they just want your MONEY !!! they dont care about your helth. I dont recommend this plase. They lied to me about everything from the begining. I had an abortion about 2 month ago and they told me its easy with no pain and you are going to have bleeding for only two weeks and you can go back to your normal life but still after 2 month i have pain and bleeding and i tried to contact the dr who did this but they keep telling me to take pain killers and its normal to have bleeding and paun which is opposit of what they told. I asked to talked to the dr after all these pain and couple hundreds Ive spent and they tried to charge me $140 more to just talk to the dr. They are bunch of theives and liers.Do not waste your money and if you are concern about your health do not go to this place.

The staff here was super cooperative n understanding, n the services were no doubt very well delivered...I traveled 30 mins to reach the place, found few protestors outside the building which worried me a bit at the beginning.. but everything inside the care centre went very smoothly.. highly recommended for good medical services and an overall smooth experience.

The space has been newly renovated and waiting area is nice. The doctors, nurses, and staff were friendly and answered all questions clearly. Would highly recommend to my friends and family seeking affordable healthcare.

Made me wait until patients thats getting surgical procedures done goes first i was simply getting pill abortion appointment was at 7 am

FCHC is very good place they are so caring and fast ,before this i waisted my time on American Women Health,never ever go there .yes i must reccomend FCHC this is the place you can trust.
