I do not recommend this practice to anyone. While my Dr was excellent, I have had numerous problems. The office never answers the phone. I have called numerous times to try and resolve an issue that I am having to no avail. I have left multiple messages asking for a call back and been ignored. My requests for prescription refills have also been ignored. I will be finding a new doctor. This is unacceptable. Not to mention the issues with insurance and testing that I was reassured would not be an issue.

I was referred by my primary care physician because my previous excellent gynecologist, Dr. Morgan, retired last year. I scheduled March appointment with them and began getting a barrage of texts to pre-register before appointment and to press certain buttons to cancel/ reschedule or confirm. My best friends husband had passed away and it was a difficult time so I pressed reschedule on the 25th for an appointment on the 27th. It texted me back that the office would call me to reschedule. No one ever called me and today I received a $100.00 charge for no show procedure. I immediately called number on bill and was told to call another number and speak to office manager which I called and received a voice-mail to leave message, which I did. Received call back from someone who I thought was office manager, told whole story again and she said, It wasnt 48 hours. Then she said she would transfer me to manager in the office and guess what....Voicemail recording!! I rarely blast any business but this texting incessantly for appointment and then ignoring text response by patient is RIDICULOUS! Office staff matters.

My visit went well. Dr. Nair and the entire staff were friendly, efficient, and pleasant. I would recommend the facility to anyone looking for Womens Health.

By far worst patient service I have ever experienced. Was five minutes late, due to no details on where the office is located back of the building on the 2nd floor, was pulling up my insurance card for the woman Leah at the front desk, she was extremely rude, told me by the time I pull up my insurance card I will be 15 mins late and considered a no call no show, where I told her my concerns about not being able to find the office considering there was no instructions for first time patients. She walked away from me and ignored me until I was 15 mins late…. Then… then told me she would reschedule me to April and charge me 100 dollars for no call no show. I waited three months for this appointment. Needless to say I did not reschedule. The most irritating rude experience I have ever had. Also was 830 am and one other patient checked in the whole hour I was held hostage. Complete garbage. A one star is not even close more like negative five.

Having been a patient of this practice for several years, I am very disappointed that I will not return. I have never been so rudely spoken to over the phone as with my conversation with Leah. I was inquiring about my insurance coverage and she actually hung up on me. I thought that was an accidental disconnect, so called back. Nope. Extremely rude. I am so sorry Dr. Nair, I will not return.

I would not normally leave a negative review but this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor’s office. I would not recommend this practice to anybody

Used to be a patient at Simed, it was my first ever gynecologist at 19 (which is scary enough) and my very first phone call with the nurse when making my appointment was EXTREMELY rude. When i called back to ask what I could do to alleviate some of my severe period pains, she said no and hung up on me. I should have taken that as a red flag but instead decided to go in for my appointment. The doctor also told me i “might” have a cyst on my uterus but never did any follow up tests or scans to make sure. (come to find out i’m perfectly fine months later) I was placed on the pill and months later when i ran out of refills and tried to make an appointment to get more, they never answered or returned my phone calls so I saw a new doctor. All of the front desk ladies were extremely rude to me.

I have Dr. Nair as my OBGYN and she has always made me feel welcome and heard. She is very patient with all of my questions (there can be a lot of them too lol), and has been the sweetest Dr. I’ve ever had. She converses with you and actually gets to know you unlike Doctors I’ve had in the past. Her staff also are very friendly and make me feel welcome every time I visit!

Just called to make an appointment for some on going issues Ive been having. The woman that answered the phone was very rude. Never asked me what I was trying to make an appointment for, assumed I wanted an annual, and then got an attitude when I told her my last annual was about 6 months ago. I generally try to be understanding but she was just rude from the jump and I will definitely NOT be going here. I dont know own what their doctors are like, but if thats the demeanor of there receptionists Im out.

Dr Leiva is the best doctor I’ve been to! She took the time to explain and provided me with options and walked me through all the steps I could take. She’s great.

I had an appointment with Dr. Leiva today, I was very nervous because it has been awhile since my last annual. The staff was very friendly and helpful but Dr. Leiva is the true rock star, she’s a wonderful caring physician and it’s obvious she truly cares about her patients. She made me feel at ease and reminded me how important self care is.

The reason for only 2 stars is because of Dr. Nairs’ nurse (think her name is Jan but not sure). She is rude and she’s not helpful at all. Absolutely refusing to let the doctor know I called. And let her (the doctor) know I had questions an what they were. About how long I had to wait for an appointment with the surgeon. And how my pain is getting worse and in more ways. She told me “the doctor is aware that, the doctor she referred you to is busy”. So I asked her to please just mention it to her and the differences with my pain. Again she tells me, “No, the doctor sent you to that doctor knowing she’s busy. She already knows you have to wait for an appointment”. Again I asked if she would please just mention it to the doctor. Not only about how long the wait is, but how my pain is getting worse and it’s in more areas. She tells me, “like I told you, the doctors aware you’d have to wait for an appointment”. Then she hung up on me.If this nurse continues working here. You’re going to lose patients. Because, no one who’s going to the doctors office. Wants to have to deal with that kind of rudeness, disrespect and disregard.I have one issue with Dr. Nair. At my last appointment a CT scan was scheduled for me. Dr. Nair told me she would call me with the results. The results were sent to her the same day as the scan. It’s been 1 1/2 weeks and she still hasn’t called with the results. No one has!

I will not be returning here. I am under the age of 21 and simply went to SIMED to get a refill and check up on my use of birth control. The doctors continued to say I needed a pap-smear (IM UNDER 21), so I got one that day, and later told me the pap came back abnormal (which scared me) and I need to come back (a whole month later??) for a more thorough exam & test and endocervical? exam. An extremely uncomfortable exam that insurance did not fully cover and had to pay out of pocket. All unnecessary and costed me $$ because I was scared there was something wrong with me.

I have been going to SIMED womens health for years and will stop returning due to my story. 5 years ago SIMED ran tests that confirmed I had HSV-2. This information affected my senior year of college due to depression, for years I thought no one would accept/love me, I told every partner about my condition, I went to therapy and took medication. Just last month I asked them to run another test because I had never had an outbreak and thought it was suspicious. It came back negative. This is good news but the nurse acted like it was no big deal over the phone that they misdiagnosed me so many years ago. Its very unfortunate because my doctor and nurse usually always made me feel comfortable, but all of this was unacceptable. They should have offered a second test right after the first one. They never did. Even an apology would have been nice. Just dont go here. Go anywhere else to avoid false test results. Besides the messiness of their testing, I have learned that HSV-2 carries a terrible stigma and I want those who do have it to know that you matter, you are loveable, and I plan to help end the stigma.

I would not recommend anyone to be treated here! The OBGYNs are very nice BUT THEIR STAFF is terrible! I have been calling and being promised a research & call back at least 4 times about a charge that I received after my annual(which women are not to be charged for according to the law! & the assistant tried to convince me that it was based on your insurance provider!). After contacting my insurance provider they informed me that my services were coded incorrectly and needed to be changed and resubmitted(even provided me with the codes that I shared with the office manager to resolve the issue!!).. to make a long story short I have spoken with the office manager a number of times, lied to about it being taken care of, lied to about receiving a call bk, bounced around from person to person to handlethe matter only to have my account sent to a COLLECTIONS AGENCY!! I even went by the office to speak with her & was promised a call after her meeting which I NEVER RECEIVED! Not to mention being weighed @30 lbs more than my actual weight &once I made the assistant aware without a care she said lets do it again...you were right ... they dont communicate with the providers the medical assistant told me to pick up a pill form of a gel that was already provided& it was not cheap! Unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have reached out to HR ....STILL WAITING!!

The doctor is on crutches and they fail to understand that people dont always live in town or work in town so they failed to inform me that the appointment would be delayed. I waited almost an hour past my appointment time and couldnt wait any longer since I work about an hour away from here. I had to reschedule. So there went my time and money I spent on gas.I was already a nervous wreck because I had never done an exam like this before.

Not upfront about costs. I went to the ob gyn for a uti. I asked them for the cost of a uti treatment with my insurance. On the phone, they said $15. I went in, came home and a week later got a bill for over $160. When I tried to call and ask the office, they said theyd call me back. After I didnt hear anything for several days, I tried calling them again and have only gotten answering machines. Unhelpful and unkind. If you are budget conscious or want a doctor thats upfront with you, go elsewhere.

Been waiting on ultrasound results for a week and every time I call the receptionist is rude, and just forwards me to the nurses phone. The nurse never answers her phone, and states that she will call you back by the end of clinic in her voicemail, but she has still never called me back. I’m in pain and I would like to know what is going on. Not a lot of empathy going on here, I am a nurse, and I would never make a patient wait on test results that I have this long.

Overall fine experience when I went for an IUD but when I needed to have it removed at a new obgyn, I found out the doc here lied to me about the brand she gave me! She told me it was Mirena, then charged my insurance for Mirena, only to have given me a generic brand. Im not mad about the brand but Im upset with the dishonesty and greed.

Go see Dr. Leiva in womens health. During my appointment, I felt heard and cared about. This lady knows what shes doing. And will make a plan for your well being.

VERY RUDE PLACE EVERYTIME YOU CALL THERE THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN ISSUE OF WHY THEY DIDNT MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN. I AM FINDING A NEW DOCTOR PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT IS NEVER WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They did unnecessary lab testing, which ended up costing me hundreds of dollars, which I did not know until I was sent the bill. They forget to inform me that my insurance would not cover the lab testing. I called to inform about this and received terrible service from the office manager and no apology for the uncomfortable experience I had to receive for NO REASON. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ive been going to simed for three years now and Ive always tried to ignore how rude the front desk lady can be but I called for an emergency today and she didnt help at all just sent me straight to someones voicemail and ignored my question. As a frequent customer it was very rude considering your business thrives off of your customers. Considering taking my money elsewhere.

Appt with Dr. Leiva and she was so good. She went above and beyond with her explanations and provided me with long term information.

Dr. Bartley is retiring, unfortunately. Dr. Grover has zero bedside manner, and Dr. Nair is clueless. Rude nurses, friendly but unorganized office staff. Avoid this practice.

Dr. Grover has poor bedside manner and gives misinformation. Overall a negative experience, would not recommend her services to anyone.

I wish I could give this no stars!!!! Very unprofessional they lost paperwork. Did not follow up with me about anything!!! The building has phones that do not work.HORRIBLE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!PLEASE READ!

Wonderful staff and doctors. They are caring and I truly appreciate how thoughtful they are!
