New Direction Fertility Centers

What took me so long to write this review? Probably because Ive been so busy with my baby!When my husband and I initially visited New Direction, it was to thaw and fertilize 12 eggs I had frozen from my younger, more fertile years. When New Direction broke the news to us that these eggs were likely poor quality (something my earlier clinic had noted on the report of my eggs, but never revealed to me), we were devastated, sure that it was too late for me to have a baby at age 41. Recognizing our needs and budget constraints, Dr. Amols recommended a procedure we had never heard of that got me knocked up after just one egg retrieval and a price tag so low you wouldnt believe me if I told you.Going in for the many necessary visits to the clinic was a joy because it meant we got to see Michelle, our Nurse Practitioner, who I came to view as a friend. Michelle, if you see this - hi, we miss you! I hope you can meet Zeke one day! Hes absolutely beautiful and I go stand at his crib every night just to watch him sleep and breathe. I remember I went in for my 10 week appointment and I was so nervous and you said, Jacky, your baby is perfect. You were right. I hope to hear you say the same thing again one day as soon as I am done talking Al into tossing in another embryo or two to see what happens :)Oh and dont snooze on their podcast! My experience with New Direction and Dr. Amols lasted nearly 3 years. During that time I underwent 3 IUIs and one round of IVF. Though I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Amols and his team for the integral part they played in helping my husband and I conceive, I would not recommend their services to anyone looking into infertility treatments. Throughout my time with Dr. Amols it was very clear, through multiple unanswered emails, ignored phone calls and delayed responses, that I was simply a number to them and not a person. My pleas for help often fell on deaf ears, especially when my husband and I started researching the process of embryo adoption. Additionally, I felt much of the staff lacked I professionalism and seemed incredibly insensitive to the absolute pain families experience during infertility. Though I left their care with a healthy baby, I was left in a state of true emotional turmoil from the experience. There are better providers out there and I encourage anyone seeking infertility treatments to do their research before choosing New Direction.* UPDATE: After posting my review Dr. Amols personally reached out to me and I am happy to say we were able to find positive resolutions to many of the above concerns. Dr. Amols personally took my concerns to heart and worked to find answers for the both of us. With this new information, I now feel comfortable once again recommending New Direction to others within the infertility world. I firmly stand by the feelings I experienced during my time at New Direction and greatly appreciate and admire Dr.Amols for acknowledging them & reaching out immediately upon hearing of my experience, as well as doing his best to right the wrongs my husband and I faced. I remain grateful to him for his help.

My wife and I were wanting to start our family and as an LGBTQ couple, we were very worried about finding the right fertility center but new Direction was nothing but wonderful and a great experience. We did several rounds with IUI that did not work and looked into IVF and were successful and welcomed our little girl earlier this year. They always respected my name and we felt very comfortable and the process was tedious at time as is with any fertility treatment but they always answered our (my) millions of questions. Highly reccomend this center! The nurse practitioner Michelle was wonderful to work with! Also reccomend listening to Dr. Amols podcast! Very informative!

So happy I found this place . All their staff is all very friendly. Michelle was always so helpful during my treatments. What I liked most about this clinic was there Klara messaging because when ever I had a quick question I could just go on there and ask I didn’t have to be making phone calls, and they would answer back . I would highly recommend this place thanks to them I’m 4 months pregnant. Thank you all 🙏

I love New Direction! I worked with Michelle and Dr. Johnson, and they are both amazing. They were so kind and compassionate, and I always felt like I was being listened to. Dr. Johnson was always super responsive during my IVF cycle, and I cant thank him enough for my successful transfer! He always made sure my questions were answered, and I never felt rushed during my appointments. I felt like they really cared about me as a patient!

We [and our embroys] followed Dr. Johnson from his former practice in Tucson and are so glad we did. Not only do we love working with Dr. Johnson and his new team at NDFC, we are SO impressed with NDFC, practice operations, communication, and attention to detail. I was initially reluctant to commute to appointments from Tucson, but we could not be happier with our outcome and the care we received along the way. Thank you, Dr. Johnson and the NDFC team!

LOVE New Directions! Without Dr Amols and his amazing staff, my husband and I wouldnt have our 2 beautiful boys. Everyone here is so kind and empathetic- they really support you through the while process no matter what youre going through. For anyone who knows, going through fertility treatments can at times be difficult so it really helps to have people on your side who genuinely care about you. I would recommend this clinic to anyone trying to grow their family!

We could not be more pleased with Dr. Johnson, the embryologist, and staff at New Direction Fertility Centers. After giving up on the idea of having children for many years, we decided to give it one last shot. After consultations with many other fertility specialists, we finally felt right with Dr. Johnson. After 1 attempt, I am now 9 weeks pregnant. The facility is extremely clean and modern. They have all new, modern equipment. But most importantly Dr. Johnson is an extremely knowledgeable expert. Clearly the embryologist is too. We are so glad we found New Direction Fertility Centers and are happy to give our highest recommendations to anyone. No need to look elsewhere; the best care is here!Update:Two months ago I gave birth to the most beautiful and healthy baby girl. Dr. Johnson and the entire team at New Direction, words cannot express how grateful we are. Thank you so much for helping us fulfill our dream of becoming parents!!❤️

I loved this clinic, NP Michelle Murphy, Dr Johnson and Dr Derman have never rushed me during appts, I always felt heard and seen. I cannot express my gratitude enough. They made this tough process as easy as can be, their app Klara makes it super convenient and easy to get in touch with anyone in the clinic they answer you same day. Even though I did not have a success story (due to medical issues) Michelle never gave up on me and support me throughout this process. Thank you NDFC ❤️

I could write pages about how bad our experience was.While success rates are above the national average, this should be the worst IVF clinic in the country. They mostly care about how they can get the most money from the patient while they make you struggle during the whole procedure. AVOID!

My egg freezing result at New Direction was better than my two other ones combine at another clinic! The price at New Direction was at least half cheaper as well. The nurses were great and Dr. Salem was great.

New direction is by far the best fertility clinic!! The staff and doctors are incredible. I had nothing but exceptional care from Dr Derman. He made my dream come true and gave me the most beautiful baby girl after trying for 10+ years. My heart is so full.

I can’t thank Dr. Amols and his entire team enough! Because of them, I am fortunate enough to have a beautiful baby girl. Dr. Amols spent his time with us at our initial consult and was very informative. He has a true passion for his job and is so empathetic to those going through the struggle of infertility. Each team member who helped us during our journey was kind, informative, and educated in their role of both the IUI and IVF process. I am so thankful we decided to use New Direction, specifically Dr. Amols, and would recommend the office to anyone.

Dr. Amols is definitely the most compassionate doctor that has treated me. My consultation was very thorough and everything was explained so well. There is a long wait list for a reason and I definitely recommend waiting it out. Before coming here I went to a different fertility doctor and his costs were triple and quadruple the amount that I am spending at this office. The last few times I have been seen by nurse practitioner Shannon and she is amazing. She is so kind and really takes the time to explain everything during each ultrasound. The Klara communication app is extremely helpful and efficient. They respond promptly to any question I have. I am SO grateful to be a patient at this office and I love going here!july 2024- just updating my review since i cannot write a second one. I still highly recommend this clinic. I saw Dr. Amols for my medication monitoring and am now pregnant with my second child. We saw nurse practitioner Michelle for all of my ultrasounds and she was so compassionate and helpful. I really enjoyed seeing her and felt so comfortable. I am so grateful for this clinic!

I am so glad that I chose New Direction to guide us through our fertility journey. The staff was fantastic and we are really grateful for Michelle Murphy. She made us feel comfortable, kept us knowledgeable and made sure I had time to answer any questions. Prices were up front and we knew what to expect for payments. We were never made to proceed if we were ever uncomfortable. I know that not all stories are the same and every couple goes through different journeys, but we were able to successfully conceive with IUI in our first cycle, after waiting 5 years trying to conceive naturally.

This clinic was recommended to me by two of my cousins who also struggled with infertility. From the very first consultation, I felt heard and appreciated. My doctor was Doctor Amols, and my NP was Michelle. I could not have asked for a better team. I had 3 IUIs and a surgery to remove a poly at this clinic. After the 3rd IUI we were successful. They made this journey much more bearable as I was able to ask questions and they were always quick to reply on Klara.When we decide to try again, we will definitely be coming back. I also got to work with Dr Derman who actually did my 3rd IUI as my NP was out. I can say that all these doctors care about getting you the help you need. I was very impressed and will be forever grateful.

I’ve been working with new directions since February 2021! They have been nothing but amazing when it comes to communication and care. I got a chance to with with Dr Derman and Dr Amols and both are great at what they do! They always respond on the weekends or after hours. Dr Amols is truly passionate about what he does and it shows through! Not only are they affordable but they give great personalized care.

I highly recommend this clinic for anyone having infertility issues. This clinic has seen me through my lowest lows and highest highs. I feel like I have interacted with almost every team member at some point throughout my infertility journey and everyone has been amazing.Susan from the billing department has been incredibly patient and understanding with the numerous questions I had throughout this process.I saw Dr.Amols frequently during the IVF process and he has been an absolute angel. I work as a medical provider and he is truly an incredible human being. He is thoughtful, kind and compassionate. He has incredible bedside manner and always comes into the room with a smile on his face. He had faith in us being able to conceive when I was not sure I could continue. I hope he understands how amazing of a provider he is. He really is one of the most amazing physicians I have come across, and can only say how absolutely thankful I had him as my infertility provider.And Michelle Murphy has been such an absolute joy to see. I am not sure how many patients can say they look forward to coming to an ultrasound to see their provider, but I do. Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable whenever I had any questions about my infertility journey. She also has incredible bedside manner and put me at ease every time I saw her. I know my infertility journey would not be the same without her. She was so attentive and kind. She is such a gem. Please give this girl a raise because she is absolutely wonderful and has helped me through this incredibly stressful process. Our family has absolutely loved working with New Direction Fertility Centers. When our fertility clinic in Tucson closed we were devastated but decided to make the drive to Gilbert because of the amazing communication and customer service we got right off the bat. We were able to get a new patient appointment quickly (on a cancelation list) and started IUI to conceive our second. Each appointment we were met with friendly and professional faces in a clean, organized, and high end medical office. We primarily worked with Michelle Murphy, the nurse practitioner, and I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She genuinely cares about her patients and has a heart of gold. I would highly recommend New Direction to anyone in the Tucson or Phoenix area.

We had an awesome experience with Dr. Amols. He and his team were such a big part in our story to starting a family. My husband and I had been through infertility for 5+ years, without any reasons why. I felt I received more information with this clinic then any specialist I had ever went to prior. We had such a great success and just birthed our beautiful twins this last week 7/7/2020. Thank you so much Dr. Amols and his team! You have blessed our family! We are so overjoyed!

I wish I could give more than five stars. I cannot say enough good things about this office, this staff and Dr. Amols. We have our miracle baby boy on the way because of him. We had success on our first round of IVF. His bedside manner is exactly what you need when struggling to conceive. He is attentive, extremely involved in the entire treatment process and brilliant. Ive seen other doctors who make you feel like a number or have their medical assistants doing everything and making all the decisions about treatments. That kind of clinic is frustrating because you dont want to be spending thousands of dollars to have an MA doing everything - that doesnt happen at New Direction. Dr. Amols knew us personally and remembered details of our situation/history every time he saw us. He was always prepared to make a plan that would work specifically for us. Ive sent urgent questions via message on Klara in the evenings and received responses from him personally at 9pm. The staff knew us by name when passing in the halls and always made me feel comfortable. They are great about getting you in and out of there as efficiently as possible for each appointment. I am forever grateful to him and his staff!

Ive been meaning to write this review for a long time. We saw Dr. Amols 5 years ago and had a successful treatment resulting in twins. We couldnt be more grateful for the wonderful care provided by every member of the staff. Dr. Amols is prepared, remembers the smallest details, cares so much, and always put me at ease. I was so anxious about treatment, but he spent so much time with us and guided us every step of the way. Now we are back for more treatment and so far it has been a great experience. Michelle Murphy has also been so sweet, kind, and knowledgable. They really have an all-star team here.The prices are incredible and we really appreciate that it is attainable for us to be able to do treatment because of that. They have helped us get the most priceless gift of our twins and we can never repay them for that. I would recommend this place to anyone!

NDFC and Dr. Amols allowed my husbands and I dream of parenthood to come true. Thanks to their service and dedication we we are able to conceive our rainbow baby after 7.5 years of battling infertility and loses. We are forever thankful that we found them.

I’ve had nothing but a fabulous experience at New Direction! I’m so glad I chose Dr. Amols to help my husband and I with our fertility journey. He and his team have been outstanding all along the way. As I write this review, I’m about to do my first frozen embryo transfer in a few days and no matter what the outcome, I feel so happy and grateful. One of the things I have truly loved about this practice is their communication system Klara. All along the way I have been able to reach out with my questions and get a response easily and quickly. I can’t imagine working with any other group of professionals for my fertility needs. Great Practice!

The staff was kind and helpful. We never felt rushed and we’re given lots of helpful information. The office itself is very nice and the various rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable.Dr. Seth Derman was awesome at answering all of our questions and helped us understand our fertility situation. This review is long overdue. I started my journey meeting with Dr. Amols in Nov 2020. After a very detailed conversation and time to reflect on our discussion, I decided to try IVF. Dr. Amols was punctual, informative, detailed, and friendly. His staff was responsive, helpful, and friendly. My experience was wonderful and resulted in the most wonderful baby boy whos now 8mo old. Im very grateful to Dr. Amols for helping to guide me on my journey to become a mother. I absolutely would use his services again and highly recommend him to perspective parents.

Words cannot adequately express the appreciation we feel for Dr. Amols and staff at New Direction. When we 1st came to Dr. Amols, he was very honest and forthcoming that based on my situation this would be a very difficult journey…but NOT impossible. That last part gave us the hope we needed to begin this journey and are so glad we did. Even though it took multiple rounds of IVF he never gave up on us, with his amazing technique and skill we kept charging forward trying to get our own eggs I am beyond happy to tell you that we just gave birth on 12/12/22.We will continue to be eternally grateful everyday for giving us our Miracle Baby.

Dr. Amols and his staff are by the most amazing humans I have ever met in a doctors office. I always felt so welcome, cared for, and they always had an answer for my many questions. I would recommend them to anyone searching for Fertility Treatments even if they live out of state. Great prices for those whos insurance wont cover it, thankfully my insurance is amazing and most of it was covered. You guys are the best and I look forward to coming back in the future! :)

The staff is the absolute best! This was our second fertility clinic we have used, and New Direction was by far the best decision we ever made. Dr. Amols is great at his profession. I have never met a Doctor who was so dedicated to his patients. I dont think he ever takes a day off. We ended up getting pregnant on the first try with twins! I have recommended to many of my friends, and would recommend to anyone looking for a fertility clinic.

After making the difficult decision to seek treatment elsewhere, I realize there are more supportive and cohesive providers.While everyone’s situation is uniquely their own, I know now after experiencing a different provider that my time here resulted in a major deficit of communication (and support) — a critically important facet of this entire process. Additionally, it is equally as important that there is a care team who is there to answer questions by *phone* (in addition to the existing patient portal) and in a compassionate manner. Not only is the medication process extremely disorganized (at one point resulting in me paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket in unneeded meds) but due to communication issues my treatment plan was also disrupted. That resulted in a pivot in my fertility journey.The notable positive I had was one team member who truly seemed like they were invested in our journey. This person exuded compassion … but fertility treatment is a highly integrated, collaborative and inter-professionally driven process, and unfortunately my experience at ND did not encompass this. I have no doubt that the team cares about their patients, but the communication process is extremely flawed, and when you’re dealing with such a significant issue as communication in this environment, it unfortunately affects many aspects related to the patient’s experience and treatment … and in this case, unnecessary mistakes.Overall, I would not recommend this center — especially knowing there are other quality providers equipped with the right communication acumen to handle the intricate, sensitive and timely needs that patients undergoing fertility treatments require.

We were out of state patients who were referred to New Direction and I felt nervous after working with two clinics near our home left us feeling underwhelmed. But I was wrong- they are incredible! With our previous clinics, we experienced lack of communication, and lack of sensitivity. We felt like another number they were pushing through an infertility factory- but that was not the case with New Direction. Not only did I get better communication and customized care from N.D. a state away than my clinic 15 min away, but they also saved us about $10,000! They truly understand the financial and emotional burden IVF can carry and they do everything in their power to alleviate it. They really go above and beyond. Dr. Amols and his staff were so thoughtful, organized, and compassionate. I cant thank them enough for all of their help. I recommend them to anyone considering fertility treatments!

My husband and I had a slightly unique situation coming into our first appointment, and our care since day one has been incredible. Dr. Amols and his staff have answered any/all questions we had. We also appreciated that they treated both my husband and me as their patients, knowing in our case that we are in this as a team. This is an extremely challenging journey to be on, and we were so grateful to have found a place that has treated us with respect and understanding of everything (physically and emotionally) that is wrapped up in this.

This clinic is by far the best fertility clinic around. Dr Amols has been there through all of our treatment over the years...He is a knowledgeable doctor who is caring and has a sense of humor at the same time. The pricing is affordable...a world of difference from other clinics. All of the staff at New Direction has been wonderful, with each part of the process. I would like to specifically mention Susie and Juanita, they really went above and beyond. They helped straighten out a complex problem with the pharmacy over my prescribed medications. They are both super caring, super genuine, and simply wonderful. (To Dr Amols - they need a raise) Thank you to everybody at New Direction for all you do!

NDFC was such a gift to us in our pursuit to grow our family. While it was much more affordable than other options in the valley, the price didnt affect the quality of treatment. The nurses were all very friendly (we especially loved Jenni - she is pure sunshine!), and Dr. Derman is professional and knowledgeable. We especially loved our NP, Michelle, who really took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. She is a gem there!We are so grateful to New Direction for what they have done for our family!

We were referred by another patient to New Direction and at first we werent sure because of the waitlist but we quickly learned it was definitely worth the wait.Dr. Amols is a wonderful doctor, he treats every patient with a lot of compassion and understanding. He was very patient with me when I had tons of questions and freaked out when I thought things were going wrong.We have referred other people to his office because we were so impressed and appreciative of all his help! He helped us welcome our beautiful little baby boy into the world and we could not be happier.

My husband and I are so grateful to have found Dr. Amols and his staff. We found Dr. Amols after we had already had a horrible experience with a different fertility doctor. We had completely lost hope, but I somehow stumbled upon New Direction Fertility Centers number and something told me I needed to call them. The day of our consult, Dr. Amols looked at our medical records, determined a treatment plan, and we started treatment THAT DAY.It was an incredibly difficult journey, but it is one that Dr. Amols and his staff guide you through with nothing but compassion and love for what they do. Dr. Amols and his staff are the most genuine and kind people I have ever met in the medical profession.I am currently almost 8 weeks pregnant...our first embryo transfer was successful! Tomorrow is my last appointment at NDFC before moving on to an OBGYN. We are so sad we cant stay with Dr. Amols forever as our new doctor is sure to pale in comparison!

Choosing this fertility clinic was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made. Dr. Amols is patient and truly takes time to help his patients understand the entire process. We have a healthy baby boy all thanks to the new direction staff, Dr. Amols and the IVF process. Their staff is incredibly professional, always informing and organized. The wait time may be long for their treatments, but it is well worth the wait. Because of our amazing experience, we will always recommend new direction to any person facing fertility issues.

Had a really good experience, felt genuinely cared about by Dr. Amols and his staff. Honestly words can’t explain how wonderful this doctor is. We’re so grateful for the twins God has blessed us with and that there are actually doctors like him that are so compassionate during a highly stressful/emotional time. We wouldn’t wish infertility on anyone, but if you need extra help and have the opportunity to come to this clinic you’re in great hands. Baby blessings to all!!

Cannot recommend this clinic enough! Dr. Amols came to my aid after a botched D&C. His skill, attention to detail and expertise led to conception just weeks after corrective surgery (hysteroscopy). Thank you Dr. Amols!

Dr. Amols and his staff are all exceptional. I read all the reviews and thought it may be too good to be true but I was absolutely wrong. After being dismissed by so many doctors for most of my teens and adult life Dr Amols spent over and hour with my husband and I and actually listened and made me feel validated in my concerns. He is personable, understanding, easy to talk to, an amazing physician, and just a really great guy. As a nurse, I have worked with my fair share of doctors and he is definitely the best of the best! Happy to say we are expecting a baby in February of 2018. My only complaint is that he is too busy making babies to deliver mine!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Dr. Amols and his entire staff were very professional, friendly, and so kind. After trying to conceive for over year under the care of an OBGYN, we came to Dr. Amols and immediately felt at ease and very optimistic! He discussed all of our options with us and took time to explain new treatment options that we werent familiar with. We worked with him for 4 months, and we are now expecting our first baby in September!Dr. Amols is very passionate about his job and cares deeply about his patients. We have nothing but good things to say about him, his staff, and the way his office is run! We feel so blessed to have found him.

I normally dont write reviews. After reading a poor review about this office, I feel that I need to share my experience, which was always positive. My interaction with Dr Amols was nothing short of professional and pleasant. I dont believe for a second that Dr Amols would ever call out or shame anyone for a failed cycle. Our family is forever thankful for Dr Amols and his staff. They have given us the most precious gift of all, the gift of LIFE. They are the reason why my angel Sophia is here today to enrich our lives with her smile, laughter, joy, and most of all, Love.Dr Amols is a compassionate and loving person who truly love his profession. It shows through his interactions. It took me multiple tries to have Sophia. Dr. Amols personally called to check on me through all the hard times. He assured me that it was not my fault and that it would be better next time.The office staff are very friendlly, responsive, and, accommodating to my schedule. I would give them 10 stars if I could. My wife and I engaged New Directions fertility clinic in our desire to conceive a child. The assigned fertility physician was attentive as well as a conversationalist in our new patient consultation to pull my wife in as a new patient. Then after that, he was incommunicado, a ghost, relying 100% on IVF medical assistants, the medical assistants were enabled to direct treatment progression of hormone medication with no dedicated care provider that lacked sustained communication. My wife only saw the assigned fertility physician twice, for egg retrieval and embryo transfer, otherwise, not actively involved in her progressive care.And as a consequence of a non-dedicated medical assistant, poor communication was enabled, they provided wrong medications and doses on 2 separate occasions during my wife’s treatment that we had to bring to their attention to correct. Medical Assistants also recommended we thaw/cycle freeze a lower grade embryo to genetically PGS retest, a huge conceptual error that even a 5th grade biology student would understand that embryonic damage is certain even to a high grade embryo. Wow, and these are the individuals empowered to provide custodial ownership to make decisions on your embryo handling from fertilization to embryo transfer, scary?During the treatment, the office required a $3200 payment for genetic PGS embryo testing, up to 8, $400 each and if not paid in full, they threatened to cancel my wife’s ultrasound appointment thus holding us hostage on a critical need appointment to meet treatment plan timeline milestones. Then the assigned physician called out the need for a uterus polyp removal procedure that was a $640 cost to be prepaid and not paid by our insurance, we went to my wife’s private gynecologist the next week that stated she did not observe any polyp formation that would interfere with a successful pregnancy post embryo transfer. She reported no findings to New Directions and New Directions stated nothing as a function of an independent polyp diagnosis and proceeded with embryo transfer. In our post mortem conversion with assigned physician based on failed IVF treatment, he admitted he did’t even review the polyp diagnosis, when we called him out on the misstep, he stated, “I can’t review every test, I depend on my assistants to provide”.It appears that New Directions fertility’s charter is not to create life but to generate wealth for the 2 fertility partners. The clinic is a money mill that condones and enables mediocrity as well as deceit to collect the $20k they were paid for my wife’s treatment. Dr Amols and the clinic were amazing. I have been to 4 different clinics as we move a lot and he is BY FAR the best doctor we have ever been to, not to mention, we are pregnant. We are over 19 weeks with twins and could not be happier. The entire experience was great.

I’m so happy that I went with New Direction! Dr. Amols and his entire staff are all very pleasant to work with. I love the messaging system that they use. It was always very easy to get appointments scheduled or questions answered through there. I also highly recommend the acupuncture. I had it done before my transfer and it was very relaxing. It made a day which was filled with a lot of emotions very relaxing! I know there is a wait to get in but trust me Dr Amols is worth the wait!

Not sure why it’s taken me three years to write a review but better late than never. I have extremely high expectations for doctors and Dr Amols and his team are exceptional. From the initial consultation to every ultrasound, we left with grateful hearts. Long story short is we found out we were pregnant three days after our consultation (what a surprise!) and Dr Amols kept us as patients through 13 weeks of our pregnancy. I mean, that’s unheard of! He could have easily referred us to an OB and passed us along. He didn’t have a relationship built with us, he didn’t know us, but God bless him, he kept us as patients and took care of us like he knew us for years. My husband and I are so grateful for him and his staff. God places people in your path for a reason and we truly believe we would not have our son (and 17m later our daughter!) without his care and treatment through our first 13 weeks. This review is long over due. We started our journey with new directions in 2020. Our only option/shot at having a child was through IVF. It wasn’t easy but due to Dr. Amols knowledge of fertility treatments and more importantly, his encouragement, our dreams came true 4/1/22. Infertility is one of the toughest challenges one will face and I pray that no one will have to travel that road. It took us 3 years before we found NDFC and Dr. Amols, and it truly was a prayer answered.A little history: We have struggled with conceiving for 2 years before going to see a fertility specialist. At the time we thought we found the best doctor. We went to the doctor in Scottsdale even though he was not in-network and we had to fork out 30K the 6 months that we went to see him. That was 14K more than what was projected during our financial consultation. We were not given any other option but IVF. We never saw the doctor much except on pay-days as everything was being handled by the RN. When we do see the doctor, he was always late (we can wind up waiting for almost 2 hours!) and can be very condescending. On top of all that, we were subjected to every test imaginable, along with long drives, long appointment wait times and sugar-coated assurances, all of which fell through after our transfer of excellent PGD tested and rated embryos did not take. The doctors explanation was - theres no explanation.We almost lost hope as we went to one consultation after another looking for another doctor and trying to get to the root cause of the problem.That was when we were referred to Dr. Amols. He had not moved into his new office on Val Vista/Pecos when we scheduled our appointment. We finally got to meet him in January of 2014. He took the time to listen to our struggles and reviewed our records. From the initial consult he was compassionate, patient and understanding. He could really relate to how we felt and understood not only the mental struggles but all the financial stress that we faced. Although there were road bumps, Dr. Amols always had a plan for us on how we were going to improve our chances of starting our dream family. On top of that, he was present at every procedure and ultrasound and even took the time to call us on weekends if we had blood work results. He always made time to answer our questions, never rushed us despite his very tight schedule and never made us feel like idiots.Not only is Dr. Amols awesome, he is also very human and he isnt out to make a profit- he genuinely wants to help. The cost is also very reasonable. The office staff also worked with our insurance and got most of the procedures covered. If it were not for Dr. Amols and his staff, we could not have afforded another round of IVF.We are now expecting our first baby and have another embryo frozen. Despite being pregnant for more than 8 weeks, Dr. Amols still continues to see us as he understood our anxiety given our history. Yes, additional bonuses are the office is beautiful and the staff is wonderful, but at the end of the day, it was Dr. Amols who made all the difference in the world as he worked tirelessly to help so many patients have the family that they dreamed of. I have been a patient of Dr Amols for a few years now. Dr Amols was able to help me get pregnant with timed intercourse for my 16 month old daughter. This review is long overdue. I will be very descriptive, because I know families who look for fertility treatments really like to see detailed experiences. First off, let me just say that New Direction Fertility, from my first phone call to them, right up to meeting Dr. Amols was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was always so nice, open and accommodating. Me and my husband were trying for three years to have our second child with no luck, I had a lot of nights where I cried myself to sleep wondering what was wrong. I have some pretty bad hormonal issues and was not having a cycle, and we didnt have any luck with my obgyn administering our fertility treatments...we really felt hopeless... So I reached out to New Direction after seeing their amazing reviews. I originally made an appointment for IVF because I was led to believe from previous doctors it was the only way I would be able to have another child. Dr. Amols took the time to really understand what the issue was, and he examined my labs and blood work to get down to the issue. This may not seem like a big deal to many, but when he sat down with me, he sat right next to me at a table, drew a map and diagram of what the issues were and how we could fix them, and the first thing he said after doing that, was that I absolutely did not need IVF and he was confident that with minor fertility treatments and an IUI that I could successfully get pregnant. This lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, because prior doctors really made me believe otherwise, and I would be saving a ton of money not needing to do IVF. Dr. Amols and his nurses/assistants were very descriptive for what needed to be done, including with how to inject the fertility medicine. Everything was mapped out perfectly!! It was so organized, I kept second guessing everything because it was all running so smooth and I always felt like things were too easy lol. Dr. Amols showed us why everyone says he is the best at what he does, he really cares and shows it every step of the way. Just two months after my first visit I got my positive pregnancy test, and 9 months later we delivered our beautiful baby boy, Bakaari. He is now 6 weeks old, and doing amazing. I am so happy we chose New Direction, and highly recommend them to any family seeking fertility treatments.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Amols and his team. We have been seeing Dr. Amols since January, and have received the best possible care. All the staff is so friendly and they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease and cared for. Susan has always explained and answered any questions regarding appointments, insurance, and billing so promptly and Haley has spent extended amounts of time on the phone dealing with insurance and pharmacies to ensure we had our meds on time, and for the lowest possible price. The compassion Dr. Amols has for each of his patients is so evident each time we see him, we drive 4 hours to his office and I would drive 10 hours if I had to because he is just that good! I cant say enough good things about Dr. A and his team. I did have an issue with one of the coordinators in the back but Im not going to dock the entire office for one persons mistakes. Now that thats out of the way. The wait to see Dr. A is long but SO WORTH IT. We waited 5 months, originally it was a 6 month wait but we got on their cancelation list (ask about it). Dr. Amols was kind, genuine, knowledgeable, professional, and very empathetic. He looks at your history as an individual, he doesnt pool you in with everyone else. The clinic I was at before wanted me to do 3 IUIs, I have an extensive medical history, endometriosis and several abdominal surgeries. We did 1 IUI and it failed, it would have been such a waste of money and precious time to continue w a dr that wanted to go through the run of the mill treatment (3 IUIs then IVF). His approach for your treatment is tailored to your individual needs and your medical history. Which is why after looking at my history he advised that we go straight to IVF. We trusted him and now we have a beautiful 2 month old baby girl. The biggest blessing ever. Dr. Amols did all of my ultrasounds, he sees you from beginning to end and doesnt pawn you off to someone else. Hes honestly the best person ever and you can tell without a doubt that he loves what he does. IVF is expensive anyway you go, there are discount programs and insurance may cover some of the expenses like routine labs and such, still, his prices were lower than some other places we looked at. Dr. Amols and his staff are AMAZING! We came after a lackluster experience with another fertility clinic in Phoenix. We felt defeated and frustrated. From the first appointment we felt heard and supported. We chose to do IVF after a few failed IUIs at another clinic. They answered every single question I had, held my hand through the experience, and we had a successful egg retrieval the first time, and a successful embryo transfer the first go around! We welcomed our beautiful baby boy in June 2020 and I can’t wait to go back for a frozen embryo transfer to give him a sibling!

When our infertility journey began 5 years ago, I prayed I would never have to do IVF but after going to NDFC and going over a plan with Dr. Amols my thoughts on IVF have changed. He’s such a genuine and caring person, plus an amazing doctor! All the ladies there are kind and welcoming. My husband and I are so grateful that my cousin told us about him. He’s definitely worth the wait, please don’t let that discourage you. There’s a reason for that, he’s awesome at what he does but he also dealt with infertility which I believe only adds to how much heart he puts into his job and patients. I wanted to like this place. The reviews were great but honestly we had such a bad experience that we ended up going somewhere else to go through IVF.This place is very unorganized. They work with you through an email/messaging app rather than picking up the phone. After our consult we were trying to schedule bloodwork and labs... after a week we still did not have an appointment due to back and forth messages. It was a painful process on top of the stress of already going through IVF. When I called the office I was told to just send a message and someone would follow up. It wasnt until I told them we were going somewhere else that I actually got a phone call back.When we got our bill it took me calling and leaving multiple message and sitting on hold just to finally pay them. The communication here is awful. IVF is overwhelming on its own. I wouldnt recommend adding to your stress and using this clinic.EDIT: I’d like to add that Dr. Amols called me directly to discuss my experience with his clinic and after talking with him I certainly feel he cares about his patients and how people feel when using his clinic. He was extremely caring and understanding of the issues I experienced and I believe he plans to address them.

Saw Dr Amols after having a chemical pregnancy from a frozen embryo transfer at another office. Today was my last day being seen at New Direction Fertility Centers as I will be graduating to an OB. I am so sad that I cannot continue seeing Dr Amols and his staff throughout my pregnancy. I am currently almost 9 weeks pregnant with twins after a frozen embryo transfer. The journey for me has not been easy, as I am sure it is not for anyone. There are a lot of steps, medications, and hurdles to jump to get your end result. We got pregnant on our first try, and the staff was very helpful and good to us throughout the entire experience. Even with me dealing with extreme nausea during my pregnancy (not due to ivf just unlucky) they have been very supportive and not given up on trying to find ways to ease it. I will miss the staff so much and am so thankful for what they have done for us.

I cannot even put into words how truly grateful I am for Nee Directions. I struggled with infertility for two years. I was referred to New Directions by my Obgyn. I worked with Dr. Derman on my IUI journey, he was by far the greatest doctor I have ever worked with. He was patient, understanding and he explained every little thing he could. He answered all of my annoying questions and took time to understand my frustration and emotions. After two rounds of IUI I was blessed with my miracle baby!

Words cannot describe my wife and I experience with this fertility clinic. We decided to extend our family and had a consultation at a different facility that did not give us the same feeling or comfort level as we received here. We now have twinns yayyyy one boy and one girl both were healthy and we had a very peaceful and amazing birthing ceremony as well. His entire organization makes other Dr. offices seem terrible and I don’t mean just fertility Dr’s. He has truly and continues to set the bar higher and higher. You might have to wait to see him cause he’s so busy because he’s amazing but it’s worth the wait! Do whatever it takes to accommodate his schedule and you won’t be disappointed.Thank you Dr Almos!!!

1, The office use Klara Chat software to communicate, which is great. Because whenever I called any doctor office, bank or anything, I have to spell my name and tell my birthday, it is a nightmare, because nobody spells my name right. It is a huge wasting of time. Using the Klara chat, I don’t have to go through this or find a time make the call, wait on the line get anxiety. I always get answer on Klara, just wait a little bit which is totally fine. Efficient!2, I don’t know too much about fertility treatment, but I use to work in a testing lab. I understand Dr. Amols don’t use the retired hospital equipment, he purchased the best lab equipment, spend money on regularly equipment calibration, and lab auditing.3, The acupuncture is right next door, and the lady who perform the acupuncture came to my room in Dr. Amols office to provide the service, which is incredible. Because I have a friend did IVF, she drove to the acupuncture doctor before drove to the IVF transfer office, then drove back to the acupuncture doctor. Overwhelming anxiety.Overall, I just fell less anxiety to use Dr Amols, and his team. I believe most infertility patients are mentally and financially fragile. And anxiety will cause bad result of treatment. I am not worry about the quality of service, the billing, or anything else. The fee is very reasonable, we get success by just one try, which is unbelievable.I wish good things happen to Dr Amols and his team, it is a stressful job though.

This was my first time doing IVF (genetic and FET), and it worked! We are pregnant with a baby girl due in July. NDFC was always prompt to respond, and answered any questions asked of me. The staff and doctors are so kind. Their pricing is beyond fair and I’m so happy I found a clinic that could help us complete our family.

There are no words that can truly express how grateful I am to have been seen by Dr. Amols and his staff at New Direction. I struggled with infertility for 4 years and did 1 IVF cycle and 2 FETs in New Mexico (where we are located) with no luck. When I first spoke to Dr. Amols over the phone, I felt excitement as he suggested some things that we can try to improve our chances. We did a whole new egg retrieval with them followed by an FET. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant thanks to him! His protocols for IVF and FET were easy on my body and I never felt any stress or worry with him. His staff was also amazing and answered every question I had very quickly. I will travel again in the future to have another FET done there because of how much I trust him. I highly recommend him no matter where you are located. Thank you again New Direction for making this possible!

I am currently going to this clinic and I absolutely love this place. They make you feel at home and as if youve been friends for years. On top of that both the staff and Dr Amols are very knowledgeable. Dr. Amols treats you with great respect and has answered every question weve thrown his way. When our first IVF/ FET didnt end well (our ONE embryo didnt thaw correctly) He came in and apologized even though it wasnt his fault (just how the cards fell). Both he and his staff then did everything they could to get us ready for round two. We are officially in the process of FET #2 and I couldnt have gotten here without the support of such an amazing doctor and clinic! I am so lucky to have been referred to New Directions. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Out-of-State Patient w/Endo. Two FETs resulting in 3 children so far.2018 Review:Pros.- Less expensive IVF packages (with and w/out PGS). Rates visible on website.- Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, incredibly hardworking, and responsive.- Doctor is attentive to IVF schedules/appointments to maximize success of IVF cycles.- IVF cycle appointments on weekends/holidays as needed to monitor progress.- Clinic location is easily accessible via 202. The offices are clean as well as comfortable.- Minimal if any in-office wait time. Im almost always called back within 10 minutes.- The specialty pharmacy (Integrity Rx) they work with is inexpensive, friendly, and local.- Higher than national average success rates.- Work with local and out-of-state patients as their schedule allows (were out-of-state).- Free parking garage (Ive lived in cities where you must valet/pay for parking everywhere).- Word-of-mouth praise from friends who were patients plus positive reviews on various sites.Cons.- New patient appointments may be scheduled out months in advance due to how busy the clinic is so call ASAP. Busyness results from good business.- Expect scheduling complications if youre out-of-state. Things happen and it impacts you more because you have to schedule your trips and find out-of-area doctors to perform services.2020 Update:Just finished my 2nd FET and am now pregnant with our 2nd & 3rd child. I wanted to address comments Ive heard from potential patients whove spoken with more recent patients.1. Dr. Amols isnt as accessible anymore:Its true Dr. Amols hired help (check FB for an explanation) but that doesnt mean he isnt the one guiding your fertility journey. Having someone do ultrasounds means he sees more patients keeping costs down. The priority is that you get pregnant. It doesnt matter if additional people help you accomplish that.2. Dr. Amols may not recognize you or remember your name:Many people struggle to remember faces/names and Dr. Amols sees a ridiculous number of people. If this offends you, evaluate your perspective. You want a doctor whos in, out and dont have to see until you want that next baby. If he knew me well, that means hes seeing me often and Im not getting pregnant which would be bad news for me.3. Communication isnt very responsive:Ive heard this regarding becoming a new patient and its because they want to hit the ground running even though it takes time. Get your paperwork done, set your appointment, etc. it all goes by MUCH quicker than you think it will and why would you rush something so important?***When frustrated in the process I remind myself that Im on lots of hormonal drugs and in the end I get results which is all that matters. I chose Dr. Amols due to his low cost, high success rates, and because Im originally from AZ so I can stay with family when Im in town.

Dr Amols is caring and committed to his patients success. He goes above and beyond to help make his patients dream of becoming parents a reality. I have referred friends and would recommend him to anyone.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Amols and I couldnt believe how amazing he was. He wasnt robotic in asking the same questions to everyone..they were personal questions just for me. He spent his time talking to me about every detail and he was incredibly easy to talk too. My wife was planning to get IVF treatment from this place but the IVF coordinator never picks up the phone. We’ve been calling them and leaving voicemails since last month but nobody bothers to call us back. All the positive reviews seems to be from the staff members.

***UPDATE***Dr. Amols went above & beyond to track down my number (I called from my work) I was extremely surprised to receive a call from him! He was kind & very apologetic for my experience. He very graciously heard me out & asked if we could discuss further after I got off work. We exchanged numbers & I went on with my day.He called me back a few hrs later & we spoke about my experience, he thanked me for all of my input & was kind enough to speak to me briefly about my personal situation. He offered to get me in as soon as he could & it was honestly the most pleasant call. He is very warm & understanding. You can tell he really cares about his patients & wants the best for them! Due to our pressing fertility issues he was able to get my fiance & I in just a few days!I am so thankful he took the time to call me & assure me that my experience was not the norm. I am looking forward to seeing him in a few days!____________Honestly, so disappointing. I called on 2 separate occasions (hoping I would get a different rep from the first time) No such luck. Karina (sp?) was very rude & cold with me. She was not very helpful & seemed annoyed to be answering the phone (BOTH times!)This is already a hard situation & calling to be treated with such bad customer service is disheartening. I had to ask her the same question 3 times because she was so short with her answers & didnt offer up any useful information for me. Her answer to one of my questions was a very sarcastic Nope Honestly? I am a CASH paying pt looking for the best place for my fiance & I to get answers & that is what we get? NOPE? I had high hopes because of the amazing reviews but sadly Ill have to take my business somewhere else.I also work as a medical professional & we have to do better than this! If one of my girls ever treated or spoke to pts in our office like this theyd be gone.

Look I’d lead with we can’t even get you seen in a virtual appointment for I ever two month before wasting my time …I’m old af and I’m easy I know what I need and I’m willing to drive to california and pay someone after I’ve exhausted the like 5 offices in the Phoenix are. I had high hopes for this place but honestly not instructing office staff to lead with appointment times does not give ME the choice before giving you all my information to go with you. That’s underhanded and frankly in the age of insurance fraud a bit sketchy. Telling me I’m sorry you won’t be able to meet with a doctor even a VIDEO chat until we’ll over two months from now I’d have to think about it and it would be MY CHOICE TO GIVE YOU MY INFO AT THAT POINT but I’ve spent a weeks filling things out scanning them downloading apps and I’m really annoyed that you couldn’t be bothered to provide that information.

Least responsive clinic I’ve ever come in contact with. The phone always goes to voicemail & the messaging system is no better. Waited 3 weeks with the only messages saying, “Please allow some time for a response.”

Thank heavens for New Directions Fertility!We had a wonderful experience with this clinic. Everyone was highly professional, experienced, and competent. We decided to do fertility treatments after we tried unsuccessfully for 3 years after my husbands vasectomy reversal.We live 4 hours away from their office, and while that was tough, it was definitely worth the time and money. They were very accommodating and helpful and offered online Skype-type appointments whenever possible.We did IVF, which compared to other clinics, was much more affordable. I almost didn’t believe it after researching other clinics and pricing. They also accepted insurance as well as programs you can apply for to assist with costs if you qualify.We began this process during COVID and even through that, we felt safety was a priority and it didn’t cause disruption in our care at all.Our first round of IVF was a success, and our healthy baby girl was born on November 22, 2021.I would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know.They were recommended to me originally by my brothers, whose wives underwent successful procedures with New Directions as well. One of my sisters-in-law did IVF and the other did IUI. So that’s 3 out of 3 first round successes in my own family, all couples with different fertility issues.My sisters-in-law had Dr. Almos, and my primary doctor was Dr. Derman. We will definitely be going back to them for our next child in the future without hesitation.No matter who you end up with as your doctor at this clinic, I have every confidence you will be successful as well.I can’t thank them enough.Good luck to everyone out there hoping for a new addition to their family! Do not come here if you are part of the LGBTQ+ community. You are better off at a different clinic who is more understanding of how the entire reciprocal IVF process works. They were very discriminatory towards my partner and I, so we decided to go elsewhere.

Dr. Amols has such amazing bedside manner! Great staff and he makes you feel very comfortable in some, not so comfortable situations.

Amazing experience from day one with Dr. Mark and his awesome staff. Met him last year in March and Im currently 6 months pregnant. Im am so grateful we walked into his office.

Ive read so many good reviews on here...which is great, I tried to schedule an appointment, but you literally have to wait months to get in. Im over 40, so for me, time is of the essence, Im sure they are doing their best to get everyone in, as for me, I just gave up. I really didnt want to give them a rating because its out of their hands, but you have to.

They arent taking new patients until July. My husband is only in country for 1 month in April. They dont make it easy on families who have spouses that work over seas.

Dr Amols and his staff is the BEST they when above and beyond for me and after one Ivf cycle am pregnant due date oct so excited and happy they help me to start my family
