The Healing Sanctuary- Integrative Medicine & IV Therapy

I really liked my experience with the Healing Sanctuary. The exterior of the building is lovely and the spa-like interior is relaxing and soothing.I had my first appointment with Joe Armbruster, and I really appreciated the fact that he took the time to really listen to my health concerns. Additionally he wanted to help me to create a plan together to focus on wellness. I felt that he provided me with helpful information and was willing to really listen to my needs.I would definitely recommend the Healing Sanctuary.

I would say over my experience was good however some improvements could be made. The initial phone interview I asked the person how long will the screening visit be to which they respond with 2-3hours. That was completely false in my experience. It took 4.5 hours. That really messes with people’s schedules. I had to miss out on a few clients because of this mess up. Also, the screening paperwork is extra tedious and time consuming. I had my health history and med list filled out upon arrival and they only want medications your taking plus vitamins that is pertinent to your medication your on. I wish the paperwork was clearer on that. Those are just two suggestions I have otherwise a good experience.

So far so good 👍 Giving THS a try because my previous doctor and I werent on the same page, healing. His treatment was always prescribe, prescribe, prescribe. What happened to the good old days when doctors worked towards healing their patients? My first appointment with Dr. Baker and staff was positive. I appreciate their professionalism and friendliness. I am hopeful we can continue a successful partnership. The main goal, living a happy life in good health.

I am very thankful to have met Michelle. From the first experience I can tell she cares and is invested in my mental and physical health. She wants to find the core of any issues and that’s important. I also want to mention how at home I feel at this facility. It is such a welcoming environment and no matter what position each employee represents they are so kind and professional. 5 stars isn’t enough for this HEALING Sanctuary.

The Healing Sanctuary is more than a standard doctor’s office. The building is beautiful inside and out and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I have always felt comfortable and been pleased with my visits.

Best doctors office I’ve ever been to, makes you realize how low the standard is for other offices. Ive been dealing with an issue for over a year and my old doctor was baffled but prescribed me meds to take for the rest of my life without knowing what was causing it. Yesterday I went here and they did a complete blood work panel to see why.Dr Baker is a fantastic doctor and Holly is the most welcoming and upbeat nurse I’ve ever met. Can’t recommend the both of them enough.

First time going to a different doctor in 20 years. This place was amazing had wonderful customer service from the start. Helped me get everything set up and everything filled out easily and efficiently. All of the staff from the front desk nurses doctor phlebotomist lab techs or all amazing. The ballroom and kitchen is absolutely beautiful for a wedding! I was so grateful to find a place large enough for family. I was impressed that the chairs and tables were included which saved me hundreds of dollars. We were able to use the kitchen for set up, clean up and storing food. We chose to use throw away plates and utensils so we did not have to stay all night but dishes were available for an extra charge. There is a sound system that you are able to use and there was staff there for help the entire time. I would use them again.

I have been to several doctors over the past few years. Healing Sanctuary finally found the problem and gave me answers. They listened and cared about my opinion and what I wanted for my treatment.

I found out about a clinical research trial through my coworker. They were very informative when I scheduled the initial screening and explained the entirety of the process at the appointment. Very thorough! The paperwork took some time to read through and sign, but once all that was completed, the screening/blood draw was quick and almost painless - for my 7 month old baby. The pediatric phlebotomists were excellent with my little one! She didnt qualify for the trial, but I was compensated for the screening and invited to check back for future trials.

Dr. Baker always takes time to explain things. He and his staff are ver friendly, patient and knowledgeable.

Beautiful place with attentive, kind people. I’ve only been to my first appointment and that was to be assessed to know how they could treat me to help. The exam was mostly talking and I did feel like I was given the recommendation to do the Hyperbaric Chamber because it covers a widespread of ailments. I really wanted to know if it would target my chronic nerve pain. She had to look at the brochure to see. However, aside from a bit of vagueness, I left encouraged and happy. So far, I would recommend them, purely for the hope they’ve given me right now.

The Healing Sanctuary is a wonderful place to go for women’s health, family medicine, and they have an excellent aesthetics department as well. Dr. Taylor is super kind and compassionate, as are the other providers I’ve seen!

The Healing Sanctuary is a dream come true… not only is this practice so beautifully created with services beyond belief, the team of practitioners are exceptional. I have been seeing Taylor Smith for almost six months and I have never felt more supported in my health goals. Excellent experience! Dr. Baker listened to my concerns about my body very carefully and knew even more about treatment for my skin than my actual dermatologist. He addressed everything and went through it in detail. You can purchase the right supplements at the front desk which saved me a lot of time.My concern about my reproductive system was very carefully discussed and I felt understood.Comfort in so many ways.This Clinic is also one of the most beautiful clinics I have ever seen. Inside waterfalls and calming sounds make you relax even if you are there on a lunch break appointment.Dr. Baker referred me with my skin to one of his partners ( I am so sorry I forgot her name ) she was great! We talked about different options for my skin and she recommended a skin care line that was out of my price range unfortunately. What I liked the most about her was that she was not pushing me to buy anything. She told me the price and said just call whenever you are ready we can start!Great experience!

Walking into the office was refreshing with the atmosphere and decor. It definitely doesnt feel like your standard office. The care I received was amazing! I am so grateful to have found the Healing Sanctuary! My family and I were exposed to contaminants in our tap water. I went to over 15 doctors over a three year period yet none of them could identify the toxins nor offer us any treatment and the worst part of the experience was many of them did not believe me. I had almost given upOn the medical community however felt that maybe I should look for a doctor that practiced both western and holistic medicine. I hands down believe in holistic medicine as it has been the main source for us getting better the past two years. After a bit of research I came across the Healing Sanctuary. When I called to make an appointment I was met with the kindest most empathetic attitude from the receptionist who took the time to listen to my story and the symptoms we were having. She then scheduled an appointment with Dr. Baker. Having had such a warm experience when I first called I had high hopes that Dr. Baker would be just as great and able to help treat us and offer his insight. I couldn’t have been more impressed and pleased with the outcome of my initial appointment. Dr. Baker not only believed me but he had empathy for all that we had endured over the past three years in trying to identify the toxins we had been exposed to and getting proper treatment. I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Baker. He is educated, smart and open to new emerging illnesses rather than turning you away if your symptoms are something he may have never encountered. I first went to the Healing Sanctuary two years ago. I LOVE the functional medicine approach, and was very pleased when they were able to help me overcome a long-term health condition that had been preventing me from living life to its fullest. Also, their building is gorgeous. However, The Healing Sanctuary really struggles in two areas: (1) Their providers and office staff are constantly changing. The instability is not only disconcerting, it also says something about how the place is run. Im not sure what it says, exactly, but I dont think its good. (2) They really suck at returning phone calls. When you leave a message, it says theyll get back to you in 24 hours. This is a lie. One time I had to call three times over a period of days and finally (when I left an angry message) got a call back. I just recently called with some questions about my sons medical records and have still (3 business days later) not received a phone call back. SO unprofessional. I have to wonder if theres too much of a focus on paying off the fancy building and not enough of a focus on making the Healing Sanctuary a place for healing . . .

This is my sons favorite doctors office. He calls it Dr. Mansion place because its such a big pretty building. Its a beautiful place with friendly staff that made my son feel comfortable. Informed us of everything they were doing with great bedside manners. Would highly recommend anytime.

If you have true medical issues like high blood pressure or things that need real medical care dont go to a clinic slash medspa. Im sure theyll find a way to blame me for the bad review so I guess Ill just say I was not a valued patient worth keeping. I never recieved return calls back when I had questions about treatment. This time when I tried again to get help I was passed around on the phone like a joke having to re-explain the problem with Taylors medical assistant. Who knows maybe one time I might have been talking to her as they all laughed.

I had an appointment at The Healing Santuary the other day. My experience was amazing. The facility felt more like a Five Star Resort than a doctors office.The people that assisted me were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and extremely competent.I was seen by Laura Pinkerton PA who was not only extremely knowledgeable and intuitive but open to learning more and was specifically focused on the root cause, rather than taking a cookie cutter, one size fits all approach.If I could give a 10 Star review I would but am unfortunately limited to only 5 by the survey.

I have had a great experience with renting the ballroom! I organize medical and dental continuing education classes and weve rented The Healing Sanctuary for a couple of our events. Emily has been such a pleasure to work with and has really gone above and beyond to make it an outstanding experience. They are certainly fortunate to have her!The space itself is beautiful and our medical professionals were impressed by how classy it was. The setting was inspiring and we have really enjoyed our time there.

The Healing Sanctuary is beautifully renovated! The entire office is so calming, it truly feels like a sanctuary. The front desk staff are very friendly. It is always wonderful to speak with Gloria on the phone when I call in or come into the office. Taylor is a very thorough PA. I have taken several of the herbal supplements recommended and have had great results with them. Dr. Baker and Taylor have both been able to help me find answers and solutions to GI problems that other providers have not in the past. Dr Baker is a amazing provider. I met him 10 years ago when we were deciding to start growing our family. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and makes his patients feel like their ideas, concerns and questions truly matter. He takes time with each of his patient and genuinely looks at wellness and health as a whole integrative system and takes great care of myself and my husband. I highly recommend him.

I absolutely love coming to this beautiful facility! The aesthetics department has some of the most accommodating staff I’ve ever worked with. They walk you through every step and go above and beyond to make sure patients are comfortable and understand protocols that they are put on. Their skin care product line is extensive and the staff is very educated on why and how patients should use the products. I saw that someone mentioned that their products are overpriced and you can buy them on Amazon, but that’s actually not true if you research it, their price is the same as all the clinics I’ve seen. I know the ZO line is very strict with who can carry their product and the product on those bargain websites are illegally sold so buyer beware...I would not put any of that on my face. Thank you Healing Sanctuary Aesthetics Department for always being my happy place!

I am very happy with the wonderful and distinguished service, and finally I feel that I can find the answer to all the questions that I wanted to know for a long time and that I could not find with any doctor. I am also happy that I took my husband and son with me, who feel the same happiness, and we are ready for this experience and for treatment with this wonderful center.

Update: Never got to root cause of my problems. I was recommended a lot of out of pocket treatments that are expensive. Ive tried to call in to pay bills and there phone constantly says they are closed for lunch or for the day. Im not sure who is not turning off that message but they are probably enjoying no calls. Im also frustrated that I saw someone who even admitted they didnt have experience with womens issues and sent me to someone else. I feel I shouldnt even have to pay for that visit since I was seen by someone who didnt tell me more than anyone on the street could. I had to keep directing them on what the issue seemed to be or seemed not to be.Dr Baker is great and really tries and really cares and I have friends who have had great success here but the above issues led me to change my review.Previous review: So far Im happy with my experience there. Reception and some of the nurses seemed confused but so far I feel like I may be on track to get the answers Im looking for. Ill change my review if I need to in the future.

Love the staff and it great when you walk up to check it they know you, most of the time I have been greeted by my name, the assistant are very helpful and are great to talk about what is going on get us in the room, the rooms are always very clean and great to meet in. Had a young child with me and they treated him and great he ask questions about the equipment and they let him see and touch some of it and he love it and still talks about how much fun it was. I called about 20 times over the course of two weeks to schedule an appointment for a facial and I got their voice mail every single time I left messages and they were never returned, I left my name and email on their website sign up to get a free consultation - never was reached out to. I finally called billing and got through and was able to speak directly to someone who scheduled my appointment.Today I went in for my appointment and I was NOT scheduled in the computer. They told me to sit and wait, so I sat for 30 min until they called me up and was handed a packet of paper work to fill out. I asked if giving them my social security number and insurance information was really necessary for getting a facial. They said yes. I finally left feeling very frustrated; with the cold receptionist, for having to wait forever, having to fill out unnecessary paperwork and just having a bad taste in my mouth.I think its unprofessional to have patients wait so long for their scheduled appointments. I understand that delays happen but Ive heard from many friends that they ultimately left the Healing Sanctuary for similar reasons. I think they are spreading themselves too thin and need to scale back in order to give better customer service. Its just not worth it to me and I wouldnt ever go back!

The Healing Sanctuary’s “healing” begins as soon as you walk into the building. The surroundings are so soothing and beautiful that my whole body begins relaxing once I sit down. Taylor Smith PA is amazing. My visits are for hormone replacement therapy. Taylor is extremely skilled and has a terrific bedside manner. He is very easy to talk to and is a good listener. I have to drive more than 2 hours each way for these visits and Taylor is conscious of getting me in and out as efficiently as possible. Dr baker and his staff have always gone above and beyond! I always feel so comfortable there! De baker actually take the time to sit and hear your concerns And talks to you! He doesn’t rush and make you feel like your taking up his time! He is incredible and I recommend him to everyone! I couldnt find a babysitter for my children so I had to bring them to my appointment. When I walked in I was concerned because the decor is very nice to look at and I was afraid my children were going to break it. Everyone that I interacted with at this location was very nice and very attentive towards me and my children

My family of 10 have been going to the healing sanctuary for a year now and have had nothing but good experiences. We have seen Dr Arvis (really fun and knowledgeable), Dr Baker (promotes natural healing), and Lynn (no longer there but was really nice). They are all very nice and competent. The front dresk has been great also. There was a time they were combining paper work from wholesome health and I could tell they were extra busy but I took that into consideration when I didnt get a call back within 48 hours. I recommend this place to all my local friends. I love that they send a lot of reminders. Oh and the building is BEAUTIFUL! I want my house decorated like it 😊

I LOVE Pam Parsons and the entire Healing Sanctuary office and staff. I delivered my third child with their care and it was by far my best experience. Pam is an absolute asset to their team and I am so thrilled I got to know her. She was open to my questions and birth plan, gave wonderful and thorough care, and I would recommend her in a heart beat.

From the moment you walk in the doors you feel calmed and welcome. All the staff was very friendly, answered questions, helped explain pricing for the extras their office provides. Cant wait to go back to do some of their treatments.

I struggle with hypo-thyroid/hashimotos and have gotten the “you are totally fine and healthy” run around from traditional dr’s. I am so incredibly happy I found The Healing Sanctuary, they care about how you FEEL to get you OPTIMAL, not in “range”. They treat the root cause rather than pump you full of drugs to mask your symptoms.If you are someone like me who likes to be more in control and involved in your health, this is the place to go.I work with Taylor and he has been nothing short of amazing! Dr.Baker recently delivered my son and I had an amazing experience! He made sure that we were both taken care of...and that I was recovering well postpartum. On another occasion I have visited with Jordan and absolutely loved him. He’s very caring and really listens. And lastly, I have talked to Tanner on the phone a few times and he has helped me get my prescriptions! He works really hard and really goes above and beyond! Overall absolutely LOVE the Healing Sanctuary!!!

Personal information displayed at the lobby counter!! Today I stopped by the clinic to pick up paperwork and noticed a sign in form that contained first names, last names, email addresses and phone numbers out in the open for any one to see, or snap a picture and display on social media. I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk person but her comprehension of the issue was clearly over her head. So I requested to speak with the clinic manager but, once again, the front desk manager was sent out instead of the clinic manager (similar issues and incompetence situations have been noticed before, and requested the clinic manager’s presence but the clinic manager failed to come out). I expressed and explain the issue to the front desk manager but, not surprisingly, he also failed to understand the issue. I was also told that the clinic manager doesn’t take last minute request.. great to know and understand where her priorities are.. this clinic is well known for an extremely staff turn over - just pay close attention next time you stop by. Understandable why the staff doesn’t care about protecting your private information, and also having a limited comprehension and common sense. Beware and demand professionalism, even if this will require you to explain to then limited-common-sense staff like primary children why protecting private information is extremely important.

What a lovely surprise! We just moved to town and were looking for a doctor that would look at us (both me and my husband) as a person not as a problem. We found just that in Dr Ena. The Clinic is so lovely and bright, so friendly.

I have always felt heard, and Taylor is quite able in what he does. I had an outpatient procedure done, and it was quite simple and relatively pain free; it was also done in a timely fashion and in a manner that met my high medical and professional standards. I appreciate their work and their interest in my health and well-being.

I started seeing Dr Baker at the recommendation of a close friend who had delivered her first baby with him as her OB. Im expecting my second and have found the care and attention of Dr Baker and his staff to be nothing short of wonderful. Dr Baker has a calm, patient, and kind demeanor. I chose his practice because he is an MD who also utilizes holistic medicine and I really value that, especially around pregnancy and L&D.

Excellent facility and the staff is warm and friendly. April has been doing the IPL on my face and it has been amazing. She is not only professional but takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE The Healing Sanctuary! Its a gorgeous building and their ballroom located inside was used for a huge local event. We loved being able to have a classy ballroom for our nightly event. Love the staff as well! HIGHLY recommend this place for health services and a location for your next event.

First off, when you walk thru the clinic door, it looks like heaven. Super nice staff & providers .They offer so many unique treatments as well.

We participated in a vaccine trial here and the nurses and technicians were so friendly and good at their jobs but I felt like because they arent in a rush at all, we ended up spending more time here than necessary. What took hours probably could be cut down significantly.

I have been a patient of Lynne Trauntvien for years, and I absolutely love her, so I followed her to the Healing Sanctuary. First, it took me three days of calling to finally get someone to answer the phone so I could make an appointment. Second, why are there so many stairs? I just had a baby 10 weeks ago and brought my baby with me, my back hurts so bad now from carrying him up and down the stairs in the car seat. Third, I didn’t end up seeing Lynne, I saw some random guy who didn’t even tell me his name! All I needed was a prescription and he said he would fill it, but didn’t write it down and don’t even have a computer to log it in either, how do I know that my prescription will get filled? When I went to reception I asked if I was on Lynne’s schedule and the receptionist said yes I was. I asked why I didn’t see Lynne and she told me that she just left for a family emergency after I was checked in. But no one told me that! I had to ask! It’s fine that Lynne had a family emergency, I get it. I gladly would have rescheduled IF someone told me! I was there to see Lynne not anyone else. I’m really disappointed in my experience there.

This is a pretty cool place. There was one professional and compassionate person who took me through the whole 3+ hour process of enrolling me into the clinical trial I wanted to participate in. She made it easy on me.

The Healing Sanctuary is so helpful getting me off synthetic medications and using effective natural medication and supplements. I find I have higher energy levels and a clearer mind. Their doctors and nurses are great at asking questions, making sure they are giving me everything I need. It’s also a stunning office:)

I enjoyed my visits and care at Healing Sanctuary. The doctor I saw there took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them. This meant a lot to me for I have been to doctors when they listen to you for a minute or two and then they have their mind made up of what you have and don’t listen to you too much after that or are just so rushing. Also, the doctor or nurse would inform and take the time to explain what treatment they had available and what certain concepts meant, ect. Finally I loved that if they did not know an answer to my question, they would search it out or direct me to a source that would have an answer for me. I so appreciated that.

I would never recommend this office to anyone for their prenatal care Dr. Baker is in WAY over his head he doesnt have the time for his patients I saw him all of 2 times in my pregnancy my intial apt to confirm pregnancy and one follow up in which I waited an hour and a half just for him to say blood work was good bye, I ultimately ended up seeing Pam Parsons because every time I schedule and apt with him theyd have me see her because he was never available and theyd never even say what was going on Id go in with the impression Im there to see Baker and end in a room with Pam. Pam gave birth to my Daughter and treated us like family she was absolutely amazing everything you should be in the business of caring for a pregnant woman and birthing her baby Dr. Baker is short distant and cold not once did I feel like I was cared for or my concerns were met unless I spoke directly to Pam the secretaries are a JOKE they have a turnover rate like youd never seen and none of them know whats going on I missed out on getting a 3D ultrasound of my baby because of the incompetents of this staff the girl literally argued with me about how far long I had to be and refused to let me schedule then by the time I got speak to someone else about it the ultrasound tech had quit by the time they got a new one I was so far a long it was pointless to even try so I was told anyway scheduling or getting anyone on the phone is a nightmare. Pam delivered my baby did my follow up and informed me she was leaving Bakers office scheduled my 6 week follow up for me to get my Nexlaplon implant she was unsure if Baker did them so we VERIFIED with HIS nursing staff whom ensured us he did do them I went in today only to be told he does NOT do them he only removes them I was offered another form of BC which I am not fond of so I declined Baker walked off no remorse for his staffings mistake no offer to refer me to someone who could do my implant now Ill be waiting ANOTHER week to get my BC not that its a huge deal but the fact of the matter is I shouldnt be waiting I shouldnt have gone to an apt today thinking I was getting it because of incompetents in this office I should have been told from the beginning so that I could take the steps necessary to get a new provider and get my BC last week as I should have. I have never been one to leave reviews let alone bad ones but the care I recieved here was too horrible not to and mu experience today was the fonal straw Ive switched my provider and wont ever deal with Baker again.All in all my experience with this office Dr. Baker and his staff was horendous I will never go back and will never recommend it to anyone! Pam Parsons on the other hand who left this God for saken office I HIGHLY recommend she CARES she treats you like her own family she goes above and beyond anything you want or need she makes sure happens!

Great facility with a very welcoming atmosphere. The calm feel helps with anxiety that I feel coming to an office for check ups. Grateful for caregivers that listen to my concerns and then addresses them with options and open communication.

I wish I had anything good to say about this place. I was really looking forward to having a more holistic doctor but my experience was absolutely miserable. First of all they do not answer the phone or return calls. Ever. Second I was getting IV treatments with them and it was very difficult to get a good vein (sometimes theyd poke me 10 times, I was covered in bruises etc.) so they had me get a picc line. They did not inform me how to care for the picc line and they did not regularly change it out. I often went 3 weeks without the dressing being changed and I saw them once a week so they were aware how often it was changed. Long story short I ended up with a bacterial blood infection that nearly killed me, had me on IV antibiotics for months, and cost me thousands in medical bills. I experienced symptoms of an infection (104.5 degree fever and chills) while at the sanctuary and the nurse (she was the one who took my temperature) said to drive home and sleep it off. Trusting her, I drove 30 minutes by myself home and was in the emergency room that night and then for 5 more days. Do not support this business. I later found out that several other patients I met while there experienced similarly horrific experiences and were taking legal action.

They explain what will be happening at every step of the process and tell you everything in terms that some one with no medical back ground will understand. The staff is really friendly. We have seen Carly, Tony and Joe and they are all amazing!

If you actually want to see your doctor when you need them, do not rely on this place and their incompetent secretaries. Today is the FOURTH TIME IN A ROW I have been told that I was never scheduled and that the person I need to see isnt even in the office for the day. Even though I had a confirmation call the day before my appointments. It makes no sense. Rescheduling constantly when I need two weeks notice so my fiance can make appointments and we are disappointed over and over. If you are pregnant, you might want to think twice about this place, unless you want to be rarely seen. The doctor can be amazing, but that does nothing for you if you cant even see him.

Finally found some place that is helping me get to the bottom of my health issues! 3.5 years of traditional doctors only to be misdiagnosed, treated and then find out it was an oops. Dr. Baker really listens and thinks out of the box. I think I am finally on the road to recovery!

This place is Amazing I didnt know it existed. I was in so much pain I decided to go see Dr Baker and met some pretty awesome people that work there, Natalie, April especially Angel she was fantastic. The first thing I did was PEMF for 30 minutes, its hard to explain what it is but it took the inflammation out of my legs i left there the best i felt in a long time. I became a patient of The Healing Sanctuary about two years ago. Something just wasnt right, and I knew it. After lots of bloodwork I had few answers. Later in 2017 I visited a new provider at another medical practice, and one of the first things she did was insist I get a mammogram. Turns out I had breast cancer, and I spent most of 2018 getting a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. I am more than a little disturbed that the provider at The Healing Sanctuary did NOT ask the right questions...like when was your last mammogram? Asking the right questions can save a life.I, also, found the staff in the front office to be less than competent. In fact, it was most often pretty chaotic and over many appointments I spent many hours .... waiting ... waiting.

How unethical can you get? Dr Baker has been my Dr for over 10 years. He has always told me on any test that he ordered that thee insurance wont cover this test when he wanted to order any test. My insurance covers a wellness checkup once a year. I have always had a list of questions at these checkups. This year after my check up I got sent a bill for over $600. This was a big surprise to me. They charged my insurance company for my wellness check and then they charged me for a seperated Dr visit. They actually charged me for another follow up visit that never happened. They did correct that one.When I asked about the charges for the wellness check and test that they ordered, I was told that I should have asked the insurance company what blood test they covered and what questions I could ask in my physical. The office said that it was not their responsibility to tell me that certain things are not covered in the test. If you do use them do not bring a list of what vitamins and supplements you are taking or ask about any struggles you are having. BEWARE. AFTER OVER 10 YEARS I HAVE ALWAYS RECOMMENDED DR BAKER TO MY FRIENDS. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AND ASKED ANY QUESTION. NEVER HAD THEM DOUBLE DIP ON CHARGING. THEY WERE ALWAYS UP FRONT ON WHAT TEST WERE COVERED IN THE PAST. NOW THEY HAVE BECOME UNETHICAL IN THEIR BILLING PRACTICES. JUST BEWARE!I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CLINIC AGAIN!I changed my rating because they resolved the issue I had. Dr Baker has been my Dr for over 10 years and I think he is a great Dr.

I was involved in a clinical research study as a test subject and the whole process was great. The researchers were informative and kind. Even the visit that was meant to take a decent amount of time was quick and efficient. Great experience!

The Healing Sanctuary offers a blend of traditional and non traditional treatments catered to the individual. The wait time is short, and the front desk help is friendly. Courtney was efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend the office to a friend.

I initially decided to try The Healing Sanctuary after coming across their promises of personal, detailed attention. Having left behind a different doctor’s office where I simply became a number in line, I was hopeful in receiving direct and personal care. Checking in seemed more chaotic than necessary. The receptionists were clearly overworked and in over their heads. I was scheduled to meet with a PA whose name I forget. As I explained my symptoms and concerns about needing to adjust my thyroid medication, he brushed it off and explained that it was “probably just a cold.” My test results confirmed my suspicions of low thyroid levels and a much needed adjustment in medication. This experienced sent me in search of yet another office that will hopefully deliver the more conscientious care I’m looking for in a health care provider.

I get my 20 week ultrasound here and I love it! They have a big screen right infront of you so that you can see your little baby right on the screen! Also Megan is amazing!

I started in January 2021. I just want to elaborate that the medical and the IV treatment is above reproach. Dr. Jeff Baker and Taylor Larsen were tremendous in treating me and suggesting the alternative treatments such as IV Therapy and other things they do. My experience with the Aesthetic Department was really well, until I bought my wife a Morpheus procedure. She was unable to do it due to a sudden prescription of blood thinners. I literally was told that the $3K or therefore approximately HAD to sit in that account until my wife got better and was off the thinners. I suggested transferring the money for IVs for both of us and I would eventually buy another package. I kept getting the buck passed off until the powerful CEO got involved, she promptly fired me as a client for all services. Stay away from the aesthetics department, I thought they were friends and professional, they sure fooled me, I SPENT ALOT OF MONEY IN THERE. The CEO basically was dont let the door hit you on the way out. By the way, you can buy their OVERPRICED PRODUCT FOR AESTHETIC SERVICES ON AMAZON FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. I highly recommmend the IV and other procedures, but STAY AWAY FROM THE AESTHETICS. Shame on them.

My daughter and I have been going to the healing sanctuary for a couple of years and will continue. Nothing but great things to say about them. It would be amazing if they would recruit a message therapist, chiropractor and possibly a nutritionist if they haven’t already.

I have seen Dr. Baker since I was 14. I had never felt like I was over charged or stuck paying for unnecessary test that just cost alot. So when I went in a waited 2 hours to be seen then not felt like I was fully listened to about my concern nor did I feel I got my concern looked at. I was disapointed. Then to receive my bill and see that I was chraged for tests I didnt even go in to get, and when calling and leaving messages and not getting calls back to address why these charges. Nor did I even recieve a call for my original concern result. I am shocked and upset that after all these years I feel like I have been treated like just a paycheck.

I’ve been looking for a doctor since I moved here 7 years ago. I’ve been to a few but never returned due to feeling like I was just rushed through an assembly line. After waiting 4 weeks for an appointment, I got a message saying they needed to reschedule me and they wouldnt ever answer the phone or call me back to reschedule. Receptionists need to do better and actually answer the phone and call people back. Voicemail says please do not leave multiple messages, well people wouldnt have to if you would just answer the phone or call back!

Stairs to second floor to check in, stairs and more stairs to basement level to see a provider, then stairs and more stairs back to second floor to check out. the other option is an elevator. however, you must walk from the parking lot round near the entire back of the building, down a ramp, to a weird back entrance. this makes it inaccessible for the handicapped or injured or those very pregnant. the interior feels like a cheap knockoff of a 4 star NYC hotel. very very little parking. 2 receptionists for too many clients. takes days to reach the reception by phone to make an appt. or for results or any issue. the lab is a small room, and being the only person needing blood work, I say 20 minutes while staff joked and stood around. I then peed in a cup, carried it from the bathroom down the hall back to the lab, and stood there holding my cup of pee for 5 minutes before just ssying hey! here! to the man who obviously was a boss of some sort not a tech. this place is obviously geared towards child bearing folk, which is fine as its expected of the culture of this town: mormon and making babies. I love my providers who have joined with the Healing Sanctuary. I have never cared for Dr. Baker and have made it 14 years avoiding seeing him. and will continue to do so. how is a medical office (even with a weird fancy name, its just a doctors office) not ADA approved?

I did a research study and they were very bad at scheduling. Meaning they would call me when I only had a day or two to complete my visit. For someone with a very busy schedule, its difficult to drop everything or find coverage for work at a moments notice.

I dont want to discredit The Healing Sanctuary because I love the idea of it but I have to say the facts of why I have had an awful experience here.Trying to make an appt., was very hard. I called several times, left messages and had no return calls. Finally I got to talk to someone that made my appt. Waiting times range from 20-40 min past appt time every time. Not exaggerating. Next, I was having a miscarriage and they tried to do a transvaginal ultrasound without an actual ultrasound tech and I felt like an experimet and then they ended up sending me to Mountain View anyway because they couldnt find anything because they didnt know how to operate the machine. They were going to charge me for it until I told them I should not be. Fast forward to months after, I try to make an appt. for my annual lady check up. It was just as hard as the first time. The first thing I noticed was for the pap and checking everything, it was only the midwife and I, which seemed weird to me because all of the appt.s Ive had like this before there was a nurse as a witness to make sure nothing sketchy happened. I dont know if this is a law or not, just seemed weird but I didnt think too much of it. Then I told her I wanted to be on a birth control with the least amount of hormones and she said Ok Ill call it into your pharmacy. Have a good day. I then asked, Is there anything I need to know about the birth control or anything? And the reply I got was, You can look it up online. That is what really made me irritated, but I did as she said. Got the prescription looked it up online and the side effects were terrible. So I called several times again to try and get it switched and after much harder trying than should be necessary I got it switched. That was about 2 weeks ago. I still have not been called and told my pap results. Lastly the billing. I got a mailed bill that was less than online and called to ask about it and seemed like I was a bother and didnt feel like I was explained why and I ended up paying the more expensive bill.I have been longing for a good experience here because I am not a fan of mainstream medicine but I am sad to say I will no longer be a patient.

The Healing Sanctuary is an enormous resource for the city of Idaho Falls and our surrounding area. Dr. Jeffrey Baker and their research staff are exceptionally professional and caring for their patrons.

The nurse was exceptional. Very pleasant and caring. The Dr was great. I enjoy the Healing Sanctuary.

I saw Dr. Baker before he opened the Healing Sanctuary. I was enormously impressed to find a doctor that is progressive enough to be forward thinking and offers his patients natural treatment options as well as medication options. It feels like most doctors are eager to add more prescriptions, like drug dealers in white coats! I decided to get off 16 prescriptions and treat myself more naturally with supplements and exercise and diet. I am so grateful for Dr. Baker, BUT, please please please open a location in pocatello. Ive been thru 8 back surgeries so far, but cant handle the drive to Idaho Falls without enduring more pain. I desperately want Dr. Baker to be my regular family doctor. If your tired of doctors writing prescriptions and more prescriptions for side effects, then try Dr. Baker, you wont regret it.

I was sad to learn that Dr. Arvis is no longer at the Healing Sanctuary. He is a great guy. He helped me through a health crisis. He took the time to be there for me. He is a good listener, kind and cares a lot about his patients. He will be missed.

Having a chronic illness is hard. Having a chronic illness and constantly being treated like you are crazy by Drs is worse. At my first appointment Dr Baker ordered a ton of tests nobody else ever thought of. He found Lyme disease when everyone else just kept telling me it was just anxiety. I will never be able to thank him enough.

Terrible Place. Incompetent Nurse Practitioner did unnecessary expensive bloodwork on my wife, then when the results came back, tried to put her on testosterone and did put her on thyroid medication even though the blood tests showed that she was within the normal range. Went to a second Dr. who confirmed that these diagnoses and prescriptions were ridiculous. Now Im hundreds of dollars out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Find a better place to get treated.

It is hard to find a medical office that specializes in Mens Health. The healing sanctuary has a physicians assistant he does just that. Ive only been in one time but he took the time to get to know me and my situation. I look forward to working with him.

I love this place. Each time I go to see Dr. Arvis, the staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is calm and orderly. I am greeted by name and quickly attended to.

I was nervous about starting my allergy shots and committing to a two year regime. But Taylor explained everything and was very reassuring.

I have never done a research drug before. They are thorough and follows all protocol called for. Friendly and courteous to you in all aspects.

Excellent in most ways. A superior clinic. However, it does have one flaw. It is too reliant on Allopathic diagnostic techniques like blood tests and electronic devices. They do do some alternative Medical techniques like homeopathic and holistic medicine. But they fail to utilize the most powerful form of Holistic diagnosis which is Muscle Testing or Applied Kinesiology. Sadly, many established churches and religions, in a mistaken view, have declared Muscle Testing to be a form of Divination, a sin. In extreme cases, Satanic. This is absolutely absurd, but many doctors follow this line of thinking which is usually based entirely upon church dogma and superstition. I hope this is not the reason this clinic is not practicing Kinesiology Muscle Testing, a process that when practiced by a skilled physician is more powerful and more accurate than any million dollar hospital machine. I hope the clinic will consider adding Kinesiology to their system.

Great doctors and staff that believe in treating the underlying cause of any issue, not just hand you a prescription to mask a symptom. Treatments are first focused on natural remedies such as eating healthy, taking supplements, etc.
