The midwives are wonderful. Having received care from OBGYN doctors in the area, I wish I switched to the midwives care way sooner. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they spend their time with you during visits and you will never feel rushed. They are very informative and will educate you before you have to make any medical choices. I’m so grateful for them especially Christina, Rebecca (Becky), and Amber. If you are considering a VBAC, a little research and asking questions and you will find they are the best at it in the area.The pediatricians at this location are also amazing. My children have been seeing Dr Goldenstein since birth and despite moving we still drive an hour to go see her because she’s great.

Called for an appointment on our way into town, and they got us in immediately. Meredith was super helpful and answered all of our questions!!

Dr Wampler is the best doctor Ive ever seen. Shes smart. Shes confident. Shes very compassionate and she made me feel very cared for. It was a huge breath of fresh air to be treated by her. I appreciate her care and motivation to see me be well very much.

I took my friend for his colonoscopy. Such easy in/out, and close parking, which is great as I am partially disabled. Things really ran on time, was informed by nurse how he was doing. Plus had a lovely chat the entire time with a gentleman while we were both waiting! When we left, the nurse got a staff person to wheel me out along with my friend. I didnt even ask for help. Very thoughtful! I get my care at Mercy Iowa City, but will probably go here for MY colonoscopy, based on this experience.

I made a Google account just so I could leave one for this place -- I was having serious pelvic pain for months and finally got in for an appointment here. I was super excited to get my pain figured out, but the ARNP that I saw was terrible. She immediately dismissed all of my concerns and told me to take a fiber supplement for gut health, and left the room after five minutes at most. I know that womens health is often overlooked, but I wasnt expecting to be treated so poorly by another woman. I ended up going to a different OBGYN two months later and Im on new medication now with much less pelvic pain. This could have been solved months ago if she had listened to me.

I visited the OB/GYN within this clinic recently in early January.I 10/10 recommend this clinic, especially for anyone that is new to going to to an OB/GYN!The person at the front desk on the day of my appointment was the same person I scheduled my appointment with and was very kind and timely! As a full time student with a full time job, scheduling an appointment that worked with my schedule was shockingly easy. They were very non-judgemental and didnt make everything feel rushed. When checking out of my appointment, they even noticed something didnt seem right in the request for scheduling a check up appointment and didnt hesitate to double check with my nurse to make sure everything was correct before scheduling the appointment to avoid any future issues! Really amazing staff member!I waited in the waiting room for a while but that is understandable in times like these, but the appointment itself was done in a very timely manner.The two nurses I had for my appointment were amazing (as is usually the case when I visit the UIHC). They made sure I was comfortable and content all throughout the appointment. As it was my first time seeing an OB/GYN. Because I was nervous I had to have to her go over things a few times and re-explain them but she did that with no absolutely issue! My nurses never got annoyed or talked to me in a demeaning manor; she was it extremely understanding and kind! They had no issue answering some questions I had that were unrelated to the topic of the appointment and were very knowledgeable on the topics! They didnt skip over or rush through anything and were very thorough and patient with me, but still managed to get me in and out of my appointment with everything I wanted covered and accomplished done in a very timely manner!On the ARNP specifically that did my procedure (Allie Wampler) : She explained everything in a very easy to understand way! Because I am younger, have never been to an OB/GYN, and had to go to appointment alone I was very anxious and didnt know what to expect going in but NP Wampler and my other nurse made it a very enjoyable and less-overwhelming experience! It was obvious that I was a bit nervous so she made sure that I was fully aware of other options, possible side effects and the benefits of my decision and made sure that (especially because I am younger and newer to contraceptives) that I understand fully what exactly I was getting. She talked me through the entire process and did an amazing job at keeping me calm and being very transparent with everything.Everything at the location looked super clean and safe! I dont think I have ever felt safer (pandemic-wise) in a public place yet! I also really appreciated the setup of the waiting room to allow for lots of space between people out there. I didnt have to come into close contact at all with anyone while waiting.I have to give a special shout out to the he nurses, doctors, and all other staff at this location. Every time I have gone to the clinic (also also visit other places at this location) I have had the best experience with everyone on the staff I interact with! Everyone always seems to be in a good mood, happy to be there, extremely helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond for me! In any setting it can be hard to catch people at work on a good day, but the staff at these clinics are really amazing people that seem very genuinely nice, are super understanding, and are never judgmental. Everyone seems to really be enjoying their job and making the most of their day despite how stressful their job must be (now more than ever)!

Im not a fan of doctors, but I have only had good experiences with the group of medical professionals at the UI Health Care center. They take their time to listen to the issues. They give alternative options as well as medical advise. Dr. Martini is tops in my book!

Allie Wampler is litterly the sweetest human. I have never been to this location but might be... As someone who has been through truma and has a hard time communicating verbally at times it can be very nerve wracking to meet new people and I think that she made all the difference. She explained everything she was going to do it before she did it. She also told me that we could stop at any point. That it was up to me. So if you ever think about coming here please do because being able to trust someone makes all the difference.

Very friendly and efficient staff. I felt very welcome here. There is plenty of parking here as well

Brandy Mitchell was horrible. Refused to listen to my concerns. Will not be going to anyone but a doctor from now on. She has completely destroyed my faith in ARNPs.

Usually I dont write reviews, but the person at the front desk was the most rudest person ever. If you want to feel like your being taken care of, DONT COME HERE.

People at the pharmacy are friendly and helpful

They were very helpful and we didnt have to wait long to be seen.

Easy to access, parking is easy.
