Helix Urgent Care - Tequesta Jupiter Hobe Sound

This was my not first visit here but I have to say what an exceptional job they do at Helix urgent care! I came in after going to 2 other urgent cares that were closer to me, one didnt take my insurance and the other had over an hour wait. I went into to Helix and they had me in and out for a small laceration in 30 minutes or less. Dr Espinoza was so polite, thorough, and knowledgeable. The girls at the front and at the triage were amazing as well. Very personable and welcoming. I will definitely return for any of my familys urgent care needs. Thank you!

This urgent care was excellent. From the moment I walked in I was treated with respect by the nicest receptionist ever. The place is clean and welcoming. All the medical staff were really kind and made me feel comfortable. I’ve been to other urgent care facilities in Jupiter and had very different experiences. This is by far the best and the only one I will ever return to.

I like this Urgent Care very much. It is close to my house and the hours are great. The doctors here are very qualified and have great bedside manners. The front desk staff are professional and friendly. The nurses are very qualified as well and show compassion. This facility is very clean as well. They take alot of Insurances. I reccommend anyone that needs to see a physician on a short notice or dont have a primary doctor or just for minor emergencies.

Terrible experience. Will never go back. Provider did not examine me properly. Tested positive for covid and had severe sore throat. Provider never examined my throat, sent me home. Called back to ask for prednisone because sore throat was unbearable. Declined. Said I had to come back in and they close in 5 minutes. I had no other option but to go to a different urgent care clinic to get the prednisone medication. Insurance charged twice, what a headache and inconvenience.

From my phone call before arriving, to the friendly front desk that checked me in. The techs that took my vitals and ekg, etc… and the dr the checked my results..Every person was friendly and knowledgeable.Also immaculate, and wait was just minutes.Highly recommend!

Maybe the best urgent care I’ve ever been to. Had to bring my daughter for a strep test while on vacation. The kindness of the doctor, nurses and the cleanliness and promptness of this facility cannot be beat! Doctor even called later that afternoon to follow up

A big thank you to the team at Helix Urgent Care for their efficient, professional, and friendly medical services. I had called about coming in for a self pay toe injury and the receptionist was able to provide reasonable pricing over the phone. After the call, I drove to the clinic and was able to be seen right away. I told the Dr I had stubbed my toe and showed him recent pictures of the back and blue bruising. From there, he had me go to another room for x-rays. The Dr came back with my results of a closed fracture and then the assistant helped buddy tape my toe. Overall great experience and I will be back if I have any urgent health concerns.

Did the virtual visit & ended up having to pay for 2 visits total. 1 virtual & 1 walk-in urgent care for a urine analysis so my daughter could get meds for a UTI while on vacation. Was all & all pleasant just frustrated that I wasted money but its understandable.

Had a bad fall hurt knee hand and lip. The staff at Helix from the start were very friendly and professional. Candy and Ashley took my information and informed me it would be over an hour. Then I met with Kayden and she was so compassionate and tried to make me comfortable. Amber was the Nurse Practitioner and was sweet caring and very knowledgeable she ordered me some X-rays where I got to meet with Isabel who was funny caring and compassionate. I was very fortunate to have spent a couple of hours with great people who took great care of me. I would definitely recommend Helix Urgent Care in Tequesta.

We came here over a month ago for my daughter’s earache. Not only did they bill our insurance incorrectly as “virtual care”, Helix charged $1,000 for the visit. $1,000 to look in my child’s ear is outrageous. There is no number to contact the billing department and they do not answer emails.

I had to go to urgent care twice in one week. Once for a fall, needing x-rays, the second because I wasn’t feeling well and ended up being diagnosed with the flu. Both times the staff was friendly, professional, and I was seen in a timely manner. I was listened to, and the doctors who saw me were professional, and knew what they were doing. Dr Francisco Espinoza was extremely knowledgeable, clear, easy to understand and extremely thorough. very good attitude. Would recommend him and Helix to anyone.

Unfortunately, sliced my palm near thumb pad with box cutter, really deep and long, on way to ER - decided to call Helix-Jupiter as had been there before and had wonderful service. plus we know how long you can wait at the ER - they indicated they could see me. Dr. Pruett was there and she was just fantastic. Was in for treatment in less than 5 min. 14 stitches later - and feeling comfortable as Dr. Pruett spent time to explain next step in recovery. went back another 3 times for follow up and stitches removed, also saw PA Espinoza and he was also wonderful. Could not be happier with treatment, service and facility, plus the time saved by not going to the ER.

Had a great experience at helix. Francisco was my provider. He was very friendly, knowledgable and thorough. It was nice having him as my provider. I refer this place to anyone. The whole staff was great! Thank you!

Very pleasant staff. Warm, prompt and professional. I was seen in less than 10 min. The care i received wes very good though the PA was only with me for less than 5 min. I really wanted an X-ray of my arm but he didn’t think I needed one. My arm is still very painful and i am hoping the antibiotics kick in soon.But. overall I highly recommend this Urgent Care clinic.

I have a regular primary care physician but I come here when I need to be seen quickly. Open 7 days a week.Try calling your primary care doctor on Saturday or Sunday. Ha! Wont happen. Try calling your primary care doctor and get an appointment the same day. Ha!! Never.Theyre always professional. And very thorough.I had to return for another check-up as my cold went into my chest. My 2nd visit was just as good as my first. I was surprised to find out they do x-rays there. My regular doctor sends me to an imaging place. Helix has it in house. Very impressed. So many reasons to just use Helix as my primary care. Everyone is always so nice. They deserve more than 5-stars.

Care was very good however had problems getting subscription. Originally not sent to my drug store after a follow up call was sent. Can not be sure if delay caused by Helix or CVS. Did not get medication till Monday after being prescribed on Sat.

Doctor Amanda was wonderful! I was diagnosed properly at their facility, knowing I went to a different urgent care before. I am on my way to the hospital now, probably saved my life.

Fast, friendly, the best urgent care experience Ive had in Jupiter. Prescription called in immediately - others have delayed in the past. 5 minute wait time - others have been much longer. Highly recommend!

Took our 2 year old here for difficulty breathing. While they ultimately sent us to the er they couldn’t have been more kind and quick to action.

Great experience today at Helix. First time. I came in With an earache. Isabel was so patient and nuturing. She cleaned out my nasty buildup and Dr Amira was just as sweet.She was very professional and gave me excellent advice. I cannot stress how much better this urgent care is then the others.

Made an appointment on the website. Get there on time and the receptionist says “oh, the website is wildly misleading, the wait is going to be at least two hours”. I said thank you and left.Seriously, why bother having appointment information on your website if it doesn’t even work. It’s completely ridiculous. It’s not just “misleading”, it’s an outright lie.

Was left in the exam room for quite a while by one provider and then a different provider came in and exited me.

My whole experience was great. Arrived on a late Sunday morning and checked in with two very friendly and professional girls who were a delight to be greeted by. Waited maybe 20 minutes to be seen with only two other people ahead of me. The attending doctor was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My whole experience at Helix was above average and it was my 2nd visit there ever. Both visits were very good.Oh, and I drove past two other urgent care facilities in Jupiter that were closer to me just because I knew that the service at Helix was so much better. Glad I did 👍

The staff are exceptional!! I was greeted with a genuine smile, and treated with such care and compassion. I was seen within a matter of minutes once checked in. Highly recommend Helix for all urgent care needs!

Called and got no answer but there was no message about being closed. Drove 30 minutes while very sick to find a paper on the door saying they closed early. Please leave away message when closed so people do not waste time when sick or in pain.

I went to Helix Urgent Care last evening and was treated with professionalism and kindness. The staff is wonderful. I was given an antibiotic and steroid for my condition and am feeling better this morning. Thank You!

Helix staff were extremely nice and accommodating setting up my appointment. They ushered me right back when I arrived and tested me for strep throat after my vitals. The nurse explained in detail what I needed to do for after care. I have been here many times and they are always great. I’m not going anywhere else.

I have been here a few times over the past couple of years and every time has been a good experience. The wait has not been more than 45 minutes, the staff is professional and friendly. I’m so grateful they are in my backyard when I need them.

Just amazing! I have been to Helix a few times over the years for myself and my children. The level or care and competency is high. This place is a valuable asset to our area. The medical professionals at Helix Tequesta are the best!

Great place and wonderful people from the front office to the technicians to the doctors! Only issue was wait time with an appointment already set. Took two hours for a 5 minute test. I understand the overcrowding issue and am making allowances for it but two hours behind a schedule time is a little much. But Helix is a clean place with great staffing!

I am very pleased with the care we received from Helix Urgent Care. The staff was wonderful. Very welcoming, friendly, and informative. Short wait time. Front desk staff 2 young ladies were awesome is answering my questions, the gentleman that triaged us was very gentle with my little one and caring, the doctor and rest of the staff were great. We even recieved a call Christmas evening of our lab results by a very pleasant woman named Trish. Trish also inquired how we were doing which was very thoughtful. Very pleased and I would highly recommend to anyone needing an Urgent Care Visit.

The front desk staff are lovely and welcoming. The office is very clean and the wait is minimal. Most of the doctors are wonderful and very thorough but occasionally you get the one who seems in a hurry to move you along and does not take the time to treat the condition properly. Overall, it is a great place for quick help with your medical needs.

The office is nice and the front staff is great but I was with the Nurse Practitioner for around two minutes total. I asked if she was sure about my diagnosis to which she replied I didnt see it but thats all it could be. Well she was wrong. A couple days later later and I was sent to the emergency room where they actually diagnosed the issue and I am thankfully better now. I emailed Helix explaining the situation and got no response whatsoever from them. This place was a complete waste of money let alone making me waste my family vacation in total pain for no reason.

We experienced caring, competent medical treatment in record time for my five year old daughter. The nurse practitioner was fantastic, and showed compassion to a scared little girl with an ear ache. Very impressed with our experience, and highly recommend.

Very quick and professional service. Went in with chest pain and was taken into exam room within minutes of my arrival. Had EKG and chest X-ray was on my way home within the hour.

The staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable while visiting the office. The environment was much more enjoyable then most traditional urgent care facilities. I would recommend this location to anyone needing medical services that wants people who seem like they care and dont treat you like a sale.

Couldn’t get an appointment at my PCP, so i went to HELIX and received excellent care. I made an appointment online quickly. Check in was fast and easy. Even though they were other (more serious) patients there, my care was immediate and complete. Staff well aware of the importance of privacy. I left with the needed test, treatment, medications and paper work for records. Excellent facility, super clean and well managed.

I have had several good experiences at the Helix clinic in Tequesta, Fl over the last year. I went in last spring to have some stitches removed. I did not have to wait terribly long and the nurse who removed the stitches was very professional and did a good job. I also had an issue with my knee, Michael( who I believe is a Nurse Practitioner) was great. The professionals who staff this clinic are really local so they are well connected. I was in to see an Orthopedist in less than 24 hours. My dear Mother has also had to go in for some rather minor issues and the staff has treated her with kindness and have provided great care service. We have never waited too long which is a plus. The facility is clean, well equipped and extremely well staffed. Thank you.

I arrived at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon and did not wait terribly long to be seen. Once I was taken back, things went quickly. I was diagnosed with bronchitis ( no surprise to me), was given a breathing treatment and was on my way with prescriptions sent to my pharmacy. All in all I was there a little over an hour- not bad by my experiences. Facility is clean and pleasant; staff friendly

I arrived around 8:30 (they open at 8), I maybe waited 5 minutes before a Tech took my vitals, etc; he had a good sense of humor. Rosemund, the physicians assistant, saw me within 5 minutes after that. He was kind, thorough and answered all my questions. I was in and out within 30 minutes; the office staff and nurse were helpful and kind.I realize that the wait cant always be this short, however, I felt that the care was excellent.Thanks!

It wasn’t as busy as the other urgent cares around and only one person was waiting when I arrived. I was taken back to a room and seen by a nurse pretty quickly but then it was a long wait to see the doctor. Overall I was there about two hour for a fairly simple problem. They were all very nice though, especially the desk girls.

Helix Urgent Care in Tequesta is an amazing healthcare facility . Not only do they make you feel super comfortable. They are super friendly and fast. No one likes going to the doctor but they make it relaxing experience. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. I wish I got all their names but I do remember Lucas who was friendly and very helpful. The doctor was gentle and a great bedside manner. The girls at the front desk are super sweet.

I chose Helix Urgent Care in Tequesta based on the reviews in google. This team deserves 5 stars. I arrived when the facility opened. I was processed quickly. The front desk staff was efficient. Next I was taken to the first room to get my vitals taken and symptoms recorded. Then I was moved to the exam room where I was assessed by a very competent Nurse Practitioner. She diagnosed my ear infection quickly and answered all of my questions. I was advised to get certain OTC med, plus she sent a prescription for an antibiotic. Another tech reviewed my orders and I was done in under 30 mins! The entire team is professional and I was relieved to be evaluated quickly with a course of treatment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

From the time I entered the building to when I left, I felt I was well cared for! The entire staff was extremely friendly, professional and very thorough. They spent ample time with me, and asked the right questions -- and more -- for all the information needed. My prescriptions were called in to my pharmacy, and were ready and waiting for me when I arrived.

Came here for a serious toe injury when I dropped a very heavy object on it. It was getting much worse and decided to come here.The staff was all very pleasant, compassionate and took their time with me. This urgent care is great. I took my daughter in for a rolled ankle right before closing. They stayed and treated her with kindness, care and respect, even though I know they all wanted to go home. They wheeled her in, x-rayed her on the spot and wrapped her in an ace bandage after determining there was no break. I owe a special thanks to Trish, it’s wonderful manager, who really went above and beyond to help. That being said the staff and the doctor were all wonderful. I could not have asked for more.

Went on a Sunday morning due to what I thought was a broken toe. They have x-ray equipment and treated it and everything ended up being fine. Great staff and I was in and out in an hour. Highly recommended.

I was recommended by PBSC to do all my paperwork and shots at helix. So I visited the Tequesta location and received great care and peace of mind. From the front desk girl Sydney to the doctor, they all had knowledge of the prerequisites for EMT/Fire program at pbsc and helped me get everything done correctly so I would be accepted into the college. I was able to ask the front desk girl Sydney questions about the program because she also went through EMT school and was very knowledgeable and that gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommended !

I accompanied my husband to the Helix urgent care yesterday because he felt like something was in his eyes. He was extremely nervous, however, Dr Warner had a wonderful bedside manner and was extremely professional, patient and kind. A great experience overall from the moment we walked through the front door!

Came in with a laceration on my left thigh. Greeted by a kind EMT at the desk. Not too long a wait before the laceration was cleaned and stitched and I was on my way. Great care. Clean facility.

Absolute scam and will be reported to United Healthcare and the State Board for their unethical practices. They claim to accept insurance and take copays, then demand additional test costs on the spot despite patients insurance covering their charges. Takes advantage of vulnerable people in pain in getting money on the spot. They let me walk out and didnt charge me because they knew they would face legal action.

Was traveling through Florida to the Keys from up North and needed medical attention. The staff was efficient and very friendly. There were a few patients ahead of me and the wait was not long. I was very satisfied, picked up my prescription from Whalgreens which was down the street and I was on my way!

I found Helix Urgent Care to be a pleasant experience. Facility was clean, front desk professional and personable.A Paramedic took my vitals then sent in the Doctor who asked a lot of pertinent questions. I didn’t feel rushed, was examined professionally and given a diagnosis which I had suspected.I walked out with a smile . Would definitely return if I should be in Florida and not feeling well.

The day after we landed for our vacation my son had two ear infections. Thank God that we found Helix and that they were still taking patients at 7pm!The staff was awesome and there is an actual MD on staff who gets right to the problem and gets you out of there quickly with what you need. $160 including three prescriptions - without insurance. Back home it would have easily been over $400 and we would have waited for an appointment.Thanks again doc. He was feeling much better in three days just like you said, and we were able to fly home.

I went to Helix worried about my blood pressure which was not registering correctly. I was greeted warmly by several employees and was able to see an MD, quite quickly. Although with his machine my BP was a little high due to my nervousness, I was relieved that is came down and was told that I needed new batteries for the machine. Im glad I went there and was relieved. They were very professional and thorough. I wouldnt hesitate to go there again.

This might be the best urgent care Ive ever been too. No appt needed. They do PCR Covid testing and got my results back in 24hrs. All other test sites Ive been too have been 3-5 days so this was a great surprise. I was in and out in under 30 min. All the staff are friendly and eager to help.

Besides their professional attitude their also so personalble. They make you feel like it’s a homey type place, ... your in a small town and “ they care.”The P A ‘s are great, the docs are great the front deskIs quick. Thumbs up!!

This was the worst doctors office I’ve ever been to. They were extremely rude and derisive. The wait was long although we were the only people there and the staff was terrible especially an older corpulent guy who wore glasses. He verbally insulted me numerously and I kept silent because I needed treatment but he also did a horrible diagnosis telling me my hand was shattered and needed surgery that’s when he started making fun of me more saying I was gonna lose a lot of money and that I was dumb for getting injured so I left and went to a new doctor who told me my hand was fine and just needed to be wrapped up for a minute and now I’m fine no surgical treatment required so not only was the doctors here unprofessional but they were disrespectful and improperly trained. This must be the place all the rejects who couldn’t make it to the hospital ended up. Y’all should be shut down or hire new more well trained staff because this place was utterly abominable.

Helix UrgentCare is always excellent. Front desk staff, nurse and physician’s assistant are all incredibly attentive. Virtually no wait at all.

I have had only great service and care at Helix. Staff are friendly and efficient. The copay is a little more than for my primary care office, but is well worth it when time is a factor. Highly recommend!

Great place to go when you need help and you want to get in fast. I have gone for a deep cut on my hand and they fixed it quick. Also, bronchitis this last time. They get your back as quick as they can and make sure you understand everything you need to do to get better. The interior design is tropical and you dont feel like you are in a place for sick people. It is comfortable, focused on patient care, and healing. Highly recommended - Tequesta location 👍

I dislocated one of my toes and I was visiting from out of town. Unfortunately Google Maps had the old location, but a local directed us to the right spot. Short wait and a quick and frankly, painless procedure. If only the healing process were as quick. Friendly staff.

I came on a Sunday at about 2:00. There was no one ahead of me. I was seen after l filled out the paperwork on an iPad... much nicer than writing everything out. The staff were polite and professional. The office was clean. The dr knew exactly what the problem was( pink eye) , and l was out of there within 30 minutes. My friend recommended this urgent care facility to me, and if l ever need urgent care again l will be back.

I am a registered nurse with 50 years experience And was very impressed with this facility. Went to Helix for an evaluation of an upper respiratory issue. Prompt registration, professional evaluation by nursing staff, exam by physician or PA , and prompt treatment plan. Discharge instructions and plan explained prior todeparture.Immaculate, efficiently run establishment. Highly recommended.

I was seen by Mike Sovis at Helix yesterday for a chronic cough I’ve had for months and the flu. Mike and the other staff were very thorough, listened to everything I said, and even took a chest x ray. Prescriptions were sent promptly to my pharmacy and I’m already starting to feel better. The front desk is always friendly and organized. I also own a physical therapy office in Jupiter and frequently send my patients here and they are always happy with the care they receive.

Visited here on at least four occasions in the last year for both of my kids. The center is always clean, we never have to wait more than ten minutes, staff is so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They follow up with us every time as well. This has become my preferred place.

Went last night, had chest xray, no radiologist had read before they closed, was there 3 hours. Here it is today 10am called and no radiologist had read. They send it somewhere out of state. And Im still in pain. Wont ever go back

They took me at the exact time I requested - no waiting - and talked me through my broken ankle. The best part? They arranged an appointment with an ankle specialist within the hour. And here I am recovering at home, boot and all.

Front desk staff is professional and kind. The medical staff in Tequesta has been consistent and we are able to see the same individual each time we are seeking treatment. Mike the doctor is better than any er doctor I’ve been to. I so appreciate the care I received at Helix Tequesta. Each member of the staff was personable and extremely competent. I had to have a firmly embedded cactus spine removed from my toe. My health care provider, Mr. Sovis, was reassuring and performed an amazingly neat and minimally invasive incision.Not my first visit to this facility and because life happens it probably wont be my last.

I am new in the country so my blue cross card is still not issued, but I have the number and we pay 20.000 per year! I broke my foot yesterday so passed by Helix Urgent Care as it is on my way home in Juno. The lady at the reception changed her tone immediately as I was a foreigner and had only a number but not the card for my health insurance with Blue Cross. She REFUSED to put the number in her system claiming that is incomplete and it won’t work. She refused to even try it on!!!! I opened my account online, called my husband etc, but she said she did before and she will not try it in her system! That same number I have printed out until we receive the card worked in Vail, West Palm and Jupiter! I am in a shock! No one of my family will ever go to this place. Very very disappointed from racist, impolite and unprofessional staff in a health care establishment! It is a shame. The name of that person that is also a manager is Trisha. I will be writing an official letter to as well!

The staff at this location were all very professional and courteous. The place was very clean, and they had well spaced chairs in the waiting room. I felt the fees were in line with similar facilities. The wait time was actually less than I thought it would be.

The people were efficient and pleasent to deal with.i felt the doctor and nurse practitioner were knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. Leaving Helix Urgent Care, I knew I had been in good hands and would be on the mend soon.

To whom it may concern- Hello I just had the most bizarre and shocking experience at your Tequesta Helix Care branch with a Dr Thomas.Initially I called in ahead of time and spoke to a very accommodating young lady because I have used and enjoyed your services at Helix Before in Stuart Florida.The girl on the phone eagerly answered my questions and did everything she could to inform me and that my previous visit in October at the Stuart location were affiliated and any record could be viewed and transferred if necessary. The situation was and its on file was I had run out of health insurance but needed RX to be filled and the doctor in the Stuart location saw me assessed me and filled my prescriptions on 10/28/2018. Somehow CVS pharmacy lost my Testosterone script and even though I had three refills couldnt refill that script much to my chagrin. Because the Testosterone lasts almost three months i didnt need to try and fill it until today 1/6/2019 and hadnt used any of the prescriptions for Testosterone before from them. I called your location since I now reside in Jupiter and like I said the girl was VERY helpful. She explained that she spoke to Dr Thomas and even though the records show that I had three refills and couldnt have used the scripts in the three month time frame the Dr said he needed to see me. After the girl clarified which medication (Testosterone) was the reason for my call and spoke to Dr Thomas, she stated that the Doctor would have to see me in person for the Testosterone refill even though I had not used the others. I didnt mind as long as there wouldnt be an issue with filling the script since nothing had changed in two months and a half.The doctor was thoroughly aware of my intentions and even made eye contact with me while I discussed my intentions with the front desk staff checking me in once I arrived. I paid my deductible and waited for the doctor forty five minuted or so. The young male EMT and I chatted while he took my vitals and we discussed his future career with the fire department and I shared my career as a firefighter as well as discussed his wife working at Guannabanas for a while where I now work because I had the shirt on.Nice interaction with phone staff, front office staff and now with triage EMT. I waited in my room for another ten minutes where I was greeted by what I assumed was Dr Thomas. As we shook hands and greeted each other his demeanor was agitated and irritable. I just assumed he was being a typical doctor with terrible bedside manor, no biggie. He immediately informed me I wasnt going to get the Testosterone script and in a very authoritative manner started berating me about the negative side affects and his take on Testosterone therapy for men.He also informed me that If I wanted to look sexy I should find other methods because he didnt believe in T therapy, WTF? I was taken aback, he seemed directly and personally offended by the the use of T therapy and was taking it out on me for some reason?Obviously he was thoroughly informed why I was there because of the phone call, the interaction and questioning from the phone staff, as well as the eye contact while openly discussing my intentions at the front desk that he witnessed. But decided to spend MY appointment educating me on the negative side affects of T therapy while screaming at the top of his lungs at me loud enough for the entire building to hear. When I thanked him for the information that I already knew because I have been on T therapy for over ten years he got even more upset and yelled louder, finally slamming the examination room door stating get the hell out of here.I was perplexed and wondered if I was in a version of the Twilight Zone because this guy was behaving clinically insane.I waited in examination room a few moments wondering what to do.I eventually walked into the lobby where he engaged me again for all to see while I calmly got the managers card and thanked the staff and left

Very convenient location with ample parking. Large, clean waiting area inside or wait outside, your option. Courteous and helpful staff. Love the app as well but can’t schedule appointments on it at this time.

I went to this urgent care last week with a severe sore throat, with white spots, thinking it was strep. I had no congestion or other symptoms other than extremely tired and achy. I was the only patient there, as said by both the nurse and doctor. The doctor barely looked at my throat and said it was post nasal drip. About 4 days later my husband had a sore throat and was diagnosed 2 days after that with strep. Then two of my coworkers were diagnosed with strep. I believe now that I did indeed have strep and the Dr couldn’t be bothered to do the test. Luckily he did give me antibiotics for a supposed ear and sinus infection, even though I felt no sinus congestion. If I had known it was strep I would have been more careful around other people. I’m very disappointed in the lack of care.

I would definitely recommend Helix to anyone with an urgent care issue. I was xrayed and then seen promptly by an experienced Nurse Practitioner, my health insurance was honored, I paid only the standard co-payment.I had a wound and other trauma to my knee as a result of a bicycle accident. I felt very confident in the diagnosis and treatment I received and would go to Helix again for other urgent care issues if the need arose.

My primary doctor said only offered me a virtual visit when my severe allergies likely caused my ear/sinus infection because of corvid19 even though they have it marked down that i am fully vaxxed and have severe allergies. I was seen shortly and given a script that has helped greatly

Staff was friendly, check in super easy and Dr. was really pleasant and caring, she took the time to explain the meds she prescribed. The price was good too! I would recommend this Helix care to a friend.

The billing department is very unprofessional and uncooperative, nasty. Overcharging for a bill paid late because they don’t send bills by mail. Kim will not accept any payments unless it is tripled the amount originally due. So 100 owed and 288 is what is now arbitrarily being required. They only argue and don’ t want a resolution. Collections called and now demand 410 dollars and refuses the original payment. They are a scam. The bill was for my young adult son whose on parents insurance. He’s in school. They only send emails without explaining the bill. Now it will be put on his credit report. I will NEVER use Helix again. Horrible

From the moment I walked in the ladies at the counter were very charming and made me feel welcomed. My wait was less than 5 minutes to be seen , the visit with Dr. Thomas was very professional and made me feel at ease. Every question was answered and I was not rushed in and out the door.Amazing place that I will recommend to many people.Thank you everyone there.

My dad was coughing terribly and we were concerned it might be bronchitis. Based on others reviews, I was apprehensive about going to Helix. We are so grateful to the staff, nurse, and Dr. Thomas for their superb care of my dad. We could not have had better care! Thank you!!

DO NOT go here if you’re in pain. The Doctor will treat you like you’re a drug seeking addict. I spent $125 because I injured my back. I know it’s a sprain or a strain. But, nonetheless, I’m in horrible pain. Terrible terrible pain. He gave me a script then reneged on it when pharmacy called to confirm it. Told me to take Tylenol. If Tylenol helped i wouldn’t have spent a WHOLE DAY AND A HALF PAY!!! Wasted my money, my UN-PAID time off for some judgmental jerk to do nothing but be weird andAwkward. Yes, he was totally weird and awkward too.

I really like this place, which is a strange thing to say about a doctors...The staff are always very nice, Ive never had to wait long even when the waiting area is busy and the doctors / nurses have always been incredibly friendly and professional.Now Ive moved somewhat further away I will still drive the extra 20 minutes to go here rather than somewhere close to me.

I was quickly seen by a doctor who prescribed several different drugs to treat my respiratory illness. Very pleasant and easy process, as well as a sparkling clean office and professional staff.

Rude people at the counter. Not inviting. Attitude problem. Wouldnt accept insurance info, demanded physical card or image of card again with attitude. Not helpful. Last thing a hurting prospective patient needs is this bs when going for treatment.

I went in knowing I had an ear infection (swimmers ear) I was in a great deal of pain and my ear was throbbing. They sent me on my way with antibiotics, ear drops, steroids and later in the day would call in a script for pain. Nearly 3 weeks later the intense pain and throbbing returned so I went back in. I had my ear cultured and then flushed and was told I needed a stronger drop and i would feel better. That entire afternoon my ear felt a lot better, the throbbing and pressure was gone... until the next day. I called HUC to ask for something to help with the pain as taking 5 advil at a time was not working and probably not good for my stomach or liver. They called back to say they sent in an oral antibiotic again, but said they couldnt write me a script for the pain. Meanwhile I am in complete agony, I cannot work, sleep, eat or even talk without stabbing pain in my left ear. My eyes are constantly watering and I havent been able to sleep more than a couple hours due to the intense pain. Why they would not prescribe pain medication to a professional woman is beyond me. Especially considering the level of pain I was in and the fact this was the second time going to them for the same thing. I called my primary care physician to see if I could get squeezed in and explained the situation. Needless to say they were appalled at the fact that I have had this ear infection now for over 3 weeks and also the amount of pain I was in and not given anything for it. I will not be returning to Helix Urgent Care.

Never go to this urgent care other than the staff is the most under qualified medical personnel you can find. They are so rude. I called to verify a test was done correctly and was given the rudest answer from Sydney. Only go if it’s your last resort

I was referred to Helix, for a COVID test by some of my nearest and dearest friends. They helped like family and I would highly recommend them. My test results came back negative within 24 hours! Yay! 😊

Front office staff doesn’t wear masks during a contagious Covid variant. I feel like we came in for something unrelated but have to chance getting Covid from people who are obviously exposed to it in their work environment. Ugh.

I was told about This urgent care from my friends. I went in on a Weekend thinking possibly I was having a heart attack. They told me they could not help me, an EKG would not tell them anything about whether I was having a heart attack and I needed to go to the hospital emergency care. I went to my primary doctor the following day and they did an EKG and a affirmed that I did not have a heart attack.

We came here from out of town for an emergency situation and we’re very pleased with the professional and immediate attention! I highly recommend them!

Go somewhere else for a Covid test. They take a card up front, which I thought was odd. I was charged without a bill to show what I was being billed for, called my insurance because I thought Covid tests were covered and found out they billed it as an urgent care office visit instead of a Covid test. Worst part is, my HRA was billed as well, so they received double payment. I have called multiple times with nothing but the voicemail to speak to so I can’t even begin the process to get a refund. The week of Christmas and they take money from me that isn’t even owed.

$35.00 to mail a bill to my house or put a credit card on file with a $140 deposit. This is all done if your insurance is rejected. I sure do miss When this place was Tequesta Urgent Care. Helix big corporation took over and messed up a good thing. Never returning and went to CVS Urgent Care.

Been waiting for over an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours, at this point we dont even know anymore. Wasting our day sitting around, this is ridiculous. Makes me feel uneasy when you are surrounded by potential Covid patients in one Waiting room.

I took my son to this Urgent Care for pain in his stomach and the Dr examined him and said he didnt feel anything abnormal. Fine, okay he still has pain so it was just going to pass. Then that same day I took him to our chiropractor and he checked him after know my son lifts weights and right away he said I think you might want to get a sonogram to check him just to be sure. Hes 16 and just in case you dont want an injury so young un noticed. So I called back Candy at the Helix office she was delightful! She asked Dr Michael for a script for a sonogram, he also very obliged to give me one. However the sonogram (CTPT code) he ordered it for was not correct. I found the out at the Jupiter Medical Center, then the nurse there and myself called and spoke with Tricia, however she basically tells me that I must be dumb cuz the Drs not why would he get it wrong. The Dr never examined my sone anywhere else but his tummy. I would know I was sitting right next to him! She was RUDE and NASTY! I work in customer service myself and you need to be a problem solver!! Not a nasty arrogant woman.... Tricia! I gave it a one star for the nasty lady I spoke to that obviously needs another profession!

They charge you a $35 fee if you dont give them full access to keep your credit card on file so that they can bill you after you leave, without actually sending you an invoice and approving of the payment. Further, I went in with a serious tension headache and was told to take benadryl, ice it, and sleep it off. I talked to a pharmacist, who said hes never heard of being prescribed benedryl for a headache. Will definitly never be returning, waste of time and money.

Absolutely the worst. Woman doctor reminded be 3 times she was a doctor. gave me a prescription that was not what I was told. Verified with CVS it was wrong and she threw a fit, literally. She ripped off her magnifying glasses threw them across the room and the yelled Jesus F****** Christ . Wow what a great professional.

Went for a covid antibody test about 5/10/20.I wasn’t happy w the waiting room. Chairs set right next to each other. No distancing and not all people wore masks.Then the nurse and the doctor also did not wear a mask. That was disturbing in the current climate.

This is our go-to center for all our emergency needs. Very professional and courteous. Have used them over a dozen times for our kids’ ear infections, colds, strep throat, etc.

Awful experience. Waited for 1.5hrs for them to tell me my Daughter had wax in her ears. We went to our Primary Care Physician the next day and confirmed a double ear infection. This same place misdiagnosed my shingles with bug bites! Not sure why I gave them a second chance, dont give them a third.

I had a horrible experience in Utah at an InstaCare facility while on vacation. The doctor completely ignored my concerns even after explaining that I was a nurse and I know my body. I told them I had an ear infection and lost hearing in my left ear. He looked only in the left ear and said I had wax and maybe fluid and that there was nothing he could do for me. He told me that it may be viral and that I could try a decongestant but it probably wouldnt do anything. Dr. Michael Sovis saw me today at Tequest Urgent Care and he told me that he didnt know how the doctor couldve seen anything because there was too much wax. He looked in my right ear and said that he saw a little bit of fluid. He had the wax cleaned out of my left ear and when he looked inside, he said that I had a very angry ear infection. He is giving me antibiotics, a steroid, and told me to take Zyrtec-D. I am so thankful that I went to urgent care today because I was not originally going to.

I also had to pay a deposit for insurance when I told them I don’t have one... all they had to do was call and verify but they didn’t know how to do it.., I was suppose to have money refunded but the owner is the only one... it’s was approved over 2 months ago and I still don’t have it... I call everyday and no answers.. stay away from this place!

The worst. Treated me like a number, didnt listen to what was wrong with me and sent me away. I went to the ER shortly after and found out I was really sick. They are terrible, doctors and staff. They said you get sick and die thats life.
