Our Lady of Hope Medical Clinic

My wife and I have been Doctor Anselmi’s patient at “Our Lady of Hope Medical Clinic” for over 20 years. The Doctor and all the medical and office staff have been wonderful and very caring. They spend time to listen and understand unlike most other that just herd everyone as fast as possible. They are one of a kind, wish other would learn from their practice model.

I think the doctor is fantastic, but the office staff is unresponsive. The message machine says if we dont return your call, call again. Had a physical last year, never could get the results. They need to fire all the office staff and start fresh.

Outstanding pro life Catholic medical care. Dr Anselmi always has time to listen . Intuitively a patient knows that he, and his staff are caring of both body and soul of every patient. What a breath of fresh air in this death culture. Attention to patient s signs and symptoms is remarkably efficient and resolved. This clinic is a lode star in the Denver area. I recommend it 100%.

My family and I have been patients in this clinic for over 14 years. I appreciate Dr. Anselmi, he takes the time to listen, but he is not the only one in this clinic. Front desk staff which have been rude since day one, but we put up with them for Dr. Anselmi. My wife went for an annual exam. Should be 100% covered by our insurance yet we received a bill for a full office visit charge and since we have a high deductible plan this charge is 100% out of pocket. We do explain this to them every visit and ask them to let us know if there will be any additional charges. We called and left messages several times but no one called back. I finally got ahold of them and asked for the reason of this charge, and the medical assistant said my wife asked a question! Yes, she asked one question and we got charged an additional office visit on top of the annual exam charge the insurance paid! I called numerous times for two weeks trying get this resolved… no use. I reminded them that we ask to be informed about any additional charges, they said “you guys have signed a waiver allowing us to submit charges as we see fit”. I asked to speak to Dr. Anselmi but the front desk said it’s not possible. I got a call from their billing office two weeks after we received the bill, I explained that I’m trying to get this resolved, they didn’t care, they said “this is between you and your provider. If you don’t pay the bill within a few days, we will turn it to collections”, so, I paid the bill.

Extremely rude front desk staff. I brought my mom for an appointment and the front desk lady “Crystal” was extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. If she can’t (or won’t) refrain from being rude and disrespectful to people obviously this will reflect poorly on the clinic and drive patients away. In this case she was so rude she should be let go… as in fired!

Dr. Anselmi and staff always take the time to listen to you and your needs. Been with them for over 15 years. Other places my family has been were quick, in and out places where I didnt feel our needs were met. This clinic gives you the VIP treatment and the staff are amazing every way through!

My wife had a great visit several months back. Meant to do this earlier but their new PA really had a positive impact on her. Nobody really enjoys going to the doctor and it is such a relief to be able to have a pleasant visit and be comfortable enough to take your guard down. Thank you Our Lady of Hope and keep doing good work.

We have seen Dr. Anselmi for the last 2 years for OB and Family care. Dr Anselmi has delivered both of our daughters successfully with no complications. My wife and I have had many doctors in our lives, and he is BY FAR the BEST. He takes a stand for life and for family, against what may be popular in the medical field today. He relies on scientific studies, medical expertise and faith to guide his medical decisions. 5 stars isnt enough to describe his importance in our family and in our world today. We are also welcomed with joy on each of our visits by his excellent staff.

When I became pregnant with my daughter about a year ago, I originally called a doctor up north wanting to get in before 8 weeks due to some concerns I was having at the time and because I had miscarried about 2 years prior, and that doctor told me to come in 3 days and well see if you miscarried by then. Obviously unhappy with that response I called Dr. Anselmis office and they got me in immediately that same morning. They did an ultrasound and put me on progesterone which made it possible for my pregnancy to continue. They took amazing care of me my entire pregnancy and I am forever grateful to this staff. My daughter is 7 months old now.

Dr. Anselmi is a true blessing! God works miracles through this man. Working with several providers myself, Dr. Anselmi is unique. He is an amazing listener and gives you the time you need to address any concerns. You can tell that his heart is in his practice and does not do this for glory or money. As a mom of two babies (delivered by Dr. Anselmi), I am so grateful for this provider. He is always available when needed, he will be there when you go into labor (even if it is 2am), and his clinic is always able to fit you in last minute if needed. YOU are the reason he loves his job!

I was extremely surprised at how wonderful this practice is. I have had some complicated problems come up and had moved and needed a new primary doctor. The Dr. Englebert was extremely thourough in going over my symptoms and medications and has continued to work with me though this problem. I also had a change of insurance into the new year and the staff has been going out of their way to help me navigate it.

The best part about Dr. Anselmis practice is that it is pretty much complete family care. What I mean by that is Dr. Anselmi will do pregnancy checks, deliver your baby and then do the wellness checks and take care of them through adulthood if you want. You dont need a family doctor, pediatrician, and an OBGYN (he doesnt do ultrasounds though) You can all go in to one doctor without 3 different appointments. He also will shoot you straight with factual advice as opposed to running a lot of unnecessary test on you to explore hypothesis. You can trust that he isnt taking advantage of you to pay for a Lexus or vacation. AND, he doesnt do C-sections, so he will do what he can to help you avoid one, but wont risk your babies life unnecessarily at the same time.

Had been a patient of Dr Anselmis office for several months. Was required a second Thyroid blood-level check Summer 2012. Dr Anselmi had office clerk call me with blood work results. Anselmis employee said that the Doctor saw that the blood level had changed since early 2012; that I was to now take One Table EVERY DAY. When I asked whether the Pharmacy had been notified and sent the new Prescription order, Anselmis employee told me that everything had been taken care of. Previously, Doctors order from blood results earlier in 2012, had been to take One Table, every OTHER DAY. The frequency of dosage had increased, from needing 15-16 tablets monthly, to needing 30-31 tables monthly. I had 3 tablets left and called the Pharmacy through phone-in order. Drove TO THE PHARMACY, next afternoon and was told there was no script waiting for me; that the order could not be filled because it was too soon since last refill; that the Pharmacy had not received any FAX from Dr Anselmis Office RE: any New Prescription orders nor Script changes. Drove to Anselmis office from the Pharmacy. Explained the communication mix-up that had come from Dr Anselmis Office employee RE: prescription changes. Had correct Doctor orders printed on a 3 X 5 card and left that 3 X 5 card with the Anselmi receptionist. I had assumed there would be no further Communication scramble. Hassle continued with additional hassle. I drove Twice to the Pharmacy for clarification of the prescription orders. I drove from the Pharmacy TWICE to Anselmis office on South University. This was a preventable MIS-Communication. From experience, Dr Anselmi does not communicate with his licensed staff and/or his licensed staff has no skill in processing the English language used in prescription directives, which a Physician issues by Law, to patients for that patients medical maintenance regimen. The girl from Anselmis office: Called me: Told ME about the prescription change : told me that my Pharmacy had been notified of the change in Doctors orders: told me that everything had been taken care of. Now #1. why did I drive 2-3 times to my Pharmacy and hear the Lead Pharmacist state that no Fax with prescription order changes had been received at the Pharmacy from Dr Anselmis Office; that NO Prescription order had been received by Fax to the Pharmacy, bearing my name as the Patient/recipient from Dr Anselmis Office:: #2 Why did I have no choice but to drive unnecessarily to Anselmis Office 2-3 times, with attempt to resolve and Translate TO Anselmis employees, using exact wording on a 3 X 5 card; My attempt to follow-through on a communication device = a piece of paper, that was never acknowledged by any of Dr Anselmis licensed staff. I am Not at all happy having to suffer the consequences of a medical team (?) that displayed continual inability to follow-through, on behalf of their boss patient.It was and remains a Very Simple prescription change.

We really love Dr. Anselmi and staff. They are very kind, attentive and we highly recommend him if youre looking for a fantastic doctor.

Receptionists and patients not wearing masks/no mask policy when I took my 85 y.o. mother in for a physical May 26, 2020. When I objected, Dr told me pandemic was over.
